110% a rant post i need to scream into the void before deleting but
I am so fucking tired of living like a 1950's housewife, and I really wish I could afford to keep my house without a roommate or working 2 jobs.
#he cleans HIS cats' litter box (almost a week overdue. never vacuuming the litter off the floor. leaving the empty boxes in the room.)#takes the trash to the curb. mows the lawn. and I do EVERYTHING else despite the fact that he makes 10x the mess i do#he doesnt even finish his own laundry! it'll stay in the dryer and he'll pull his day's clothes out until i put it in his room#i got aggravated today bc i had to go finish a coworkers shift and lost 2.5 hours of cleaning time for a whopping $20 earned#and he asked if there was anything he could do to help like! i know youre trying to be nice but you fucking LIVE here it would#help if you would fucking WIPE A GODDAMN COUNTERTOP OFF ONCE A WEEK or PUT YOUR FUCKING TRASH IN THE TRASH CAN#maybe if you cant put your dirty dishes in the empty dishwasher you can at least RINSE THEM OFF BEFORE YOU STACK THEM IN THE SINK#weve talked about it dozens of times. tried lists. alarms. bribes. trading off chores. i gave up#so im going to be a good housewife and keep my mouth shut except venting here#and reminisce about the few months i had of living alone (before he got kicked out of his new place for being a noisy slob)#delete later
