Mini Fanfic #806: A Missing Rex (Super Smash Bros Ultimate)

4:06 p.m. at Pyra and Dark Pit's Hotel Room........

Pyra: (Pacing Back and Forth in a Panicked Like Manner) Ohmygod Ohmygod Ohmygod Ohmygod!!!

Dark Pit: (Lays on his Bed Lazily) Will you calm down already? You've been walking around like that for ten minutes straight now.

Pyra: (Turns to Dark It a Very Worried Look on her Face) I CAN'T!!! How do you expect me to get over the fact that we LEFT Rex alone in that mansion!? W-What if he gets starved or dehydrated in there!?

Dark Pit: Peach brought a crap ton of groceries the day before we got here. I'm sure he'll live for days on end.

Pyra: Oh. Right. I forgot about all of that....(Starts Getting Worried Again) B-B-But if what someone barges themselves in there and hurts him!?

Dark Pit: Are there any villains and crooks you know from your universe knows where either of you are?

Pyra: Not really. No.

Dark Pit: Then you have nothing to worry about on that front either. Plus, even if someone did try and break in, the guy can still be able to hold his own in fight.

Pyra: Rex has gotten a lot better wielding the Aegis blade now that you've mentioned.....(Starts Getting Worried Yet Again) B-But I don't know. Are you absolutely sure-

Dark Pit: He'll be fine, Pyra! Just try and calm down for a second and relax, alright? It's not gonna do you any good if you keep worrying about him throughout this trip.

Pyra: (Sighs in Defeat as She Finally Sits Herself Down the Edge of her Bed) You're right.....(Turns to Dark Pit) I'm sorry about all of this, Pitto. This whole situation has got me stressed out since the moment we got here.

Dark Pit: I can tell. You really care about him, do you?

Pyra: (Place her Hand on her Chest) From the bottom of my heart. We've always been there for one another even before we started dating. (Giggles Softly) I remember the time we were actually trying to confess our love to one another.

Dark Pit: Seriously?

Pyra: (Happily Nodded) Mmhmm. Rex was struggling through it the most out of the both of us. It really cute~

Dark Pit: ('Heh') Bet it was dorky too.

Pyra: (Pouts at Dark Pit) No!......('Sigh') Okay. Yeah it kinda was. But I still love every moment of it thank you very much.

Dark Pit: (Shrugs) Ain't doubting you on that one. But look, I may not know the guy as much as you or Myrtha do, but I still believe he can hold his only out there. Just try not to worry about him too much, alright?

Pyra: ('Sigh') I will. It's not going to be completely, but I'll still try. (Turns and Pick Up a Picture Frame of Rex From the Dresser) I really hope you're doing okay in the mansion, Rex. (Kiss the Picture Frame Before Hugging it) I love you so much.

Meanwhile Back at the Smash Mansion.........

TV Screen: I NEEEEEED ITTTTTT!

Rex: (Sighs While Watching TV on the Sofa) I still can't believe I'm all alone here. I bet everyone else is having fun at that Isle Defino place....With the lovely sunlight basking around the area, the relaxing spas, the steaming hotsprings.....I bet they make tropical smoothies there too. I would kill to have one of those!~ (Turns to a Picture Frame of Pyra and Mythra Together) I hope you two are having a good time out there. Ah who am I kidding? Of course you are-

'Grumbling'

Rex: (Place his Hand on his Stomach) Oh geez..... Guess I really do need to get myself something to eat right now. But I already made myself a sandwich yesterday. (Place his Hand on his Chin) Perhaps I can try and cook some.... thing?....

Rex's eyes suddenly begins to widened as he hears the sounds of a uproaring fire loud sirens and screams in his mental conscious. And of this while thinking about the diaster that could possibly happen at this very Moment.

Rex: On second thought, maybe I should try and order pizza instead. (Gets Up From the Sofa and Makes his Way to the Mansion's Telephone)
