The staff, cast, and character lineart to the "Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun" (The Low Tier Character "Tomozaki-kun") TV anime have been revealed. It will be produced by studio Project No.9.

Synopsis-

“Life is a bad video game. This cliche phrase is, sadly, a reality. However, life doesn’t have simple, easy rules. What it does have is irrationality and inequality. The strong say that they have a lot of freedom, but the weak have no choice but to live an overwhelmingly disadvantaged lifestyle. Therefore, it’s a bad game. There’s no mistake because I, the best gamer in Japan, declare it. However, some person, who is on the same level as me, goes around saying “Life is a great game.” The school’s perfect, strong-willed heroine, Hinami Aoi. Furthermore, she says “I’ll teach you the rules of life’s game.” Normally, I wouldn’t believe in those words. However, Hinami Aoi is a character that doesn’t even fit in a normal frame at all!”

Main Cast & Staff Log On for Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki TV Anime

  If life is just a game, then we're ready to enter some cheat codes, and Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki (known in Japan as Jaku-chara Tomozaki-kun), an upcoming TV anime based on the romantic comedy light novel series written by Yuki Yaku and illustrated by Fly about a boy and a girl who approach life like it's a video game, has revealed a new key visual (below), its main staff, and its main cast.

Life is the best and most difficult game! Without being extraordinary just managed to be weird, cringe, funny and great.

Fumiya Tomozaki is Japan's best player in the online game Attack Families, commonly known as "Tackfam." Despite holding such a revered title, a lack of social skills and amiability causes him to fall short in his everyday high school life. Failing to have many friends, he blames the convoluted mechanics and unfair rules of life, forcing him to give up and proclaim himself a bottom-tier character in this "game."

After a fateful meeting with another top-tier Tackfam player, Fumiya is shocked to discover the player's true identity—Aoi Hinami, a popular, smart, and sociable classmate that decides to assist him in succeeding in what she calls the greatest game of them all. Through the gruesome ordeals of social interactions and relationships, Fumiya begins to advance tiers in the glorious game of life. (Source: myanimelist)

Our mc lacks self-confidence, doesn’t understand social interactions at all, and think life is an unworthy game, but he is against his own idea of how people should play games, instead of blaming the game one has to give everything to eventually succeed, leading Tomozaki to work really hard to achieve his goals.

It's actually kind of bleh but something nice about this anime is the small changes in Tomozaki, even without realizing at first, each goal he successfully gets change him for good, to the point he realized how important is to him to find the truthful way to do it, instead of faking just to blend in society, finding the way to do it with genuine intention and feelings became his ultimate goal.

Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki Games On With Audio Drama CD

  Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki (known in Japan as Jaku-chara Tomozaki-kun), a romantic comedy light novel series written by Yuki Yaku and illustrated by Fly about a boy and a girl who treat life like a video game, is getting a special edition release of volume "8.5" in Japan that comes with an audio drama CD adaptation. The cast for the audio drama CD includes:

  Gen Sato as Fumiya Tomozaki.

Hisako Kanemoto as Aoi Hinami.

Ikumi Hasegawa as Minami Nanami.

Ai Kayano as Fuka Kikuchi.

Ryōko Maekawa as Hanabi Natsubayashi.

Nene Hieda as Yuzu Izumi.

Nobunaga Shimazaki as Takahiro Mizusawa.

And Shuntarou Mizuno as Takei.

  An anime adaptation for Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki was announced back in October of 2019, but whether or not the drama CD cast will reprise their roles for the TV anime is currently unknown. The special edition of volume "8.5" of Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki will be released in Japan on April 17, 2020.

    Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki is published in Japan by Shogakukan under their Gagaga Bunko imprint, and an English language version is also available from Yen Press, who describe the story of the series as follows:
