── Robin's relationship with Vladimir is one of the best accidental things that could have happened to him as a character; and I say accidental because @hemoplagued and I were just chatting about them and then suddenly there was a super long plot line and their chemistry worked really well together? Vladimir, ultimately, leads to the best ending Robin can have that both releases him from his previous guilt/grief and still allows him to be a ruthless power hungry monster. Robin's connection with Vladimir blurs the lines of romance and obsession often, these two are so disgustingly intrigued and forever fascinated by the other that their relationship never grows stale. Robin is constantly eager to learn new things and Vladimir is an endless treasure trove of knowledge from living such a long life. Vladimir is also one of the few people Robin feels comfortable touching and being touched by. Touch is something that's very important to Robin (as he barely lets anyone touch him in anyway besides a handshake) - but through Vladimir he is truly able to feed his touch starvation without any sense of worry. They've been together for so long that its difficult to imagine his life without Vladimir as his partner; together they have a life they can both indulge and be happy in. Robin loves with his entire soul and gives all of himself to Vlad without a doubt that he will get the same level of commitment back. Two villains madly in love.
