This really, really, reaaaaaally breaks my heart to do, but I’ve decided to drop Julianne after over 4 years of playing her.

She was my baby for so long (and the longest running character here without being switched or dropped after Vanessa and along with Katie), and she is my longest running character in a role play, but when the muse isn’t there, the muse isn’t there. To be honest, the muse hasn’t been there for over a year and as much as I wanted to get it back, I knew it wasn’t happening.

As a role player, I understand it’s not fair to hog a face claim simply because you’re selfish and can’t drop them after all the history you built. As an admin, I really know how unfair this is, which is why I couldn’t keep doing it any longer.

The history I’ve built with Julianne was a crazy ride, but I truly enjoyed every second of it. From the planned drama, to unexpectedly losing a ship partner and making it into a decent plot, it’s been so much fun. The plots I’ve done here as Jules have been some of my favorite plots ever. From the paparazzi accident with Derek, to Luca and Tinsley, to the Steven heartbreak, to finding love again with Jeff. Unfortunately, there’s not much left to do with her which is why my muse has been at a standstill for quite some time. So, instead of asking to erase parts of history and continue playing her, without a guarantee of getting that muse back, I’ve decided it’s time to say goodbye to one of my favorite characters ever.

With that being said, I spoke to the fellow admins and they’ve allowed me to swipe her entire history here so that whoever picks her up next has a fresh start. I worded that in a way that makes me sound like I’m doing the next person a favor, but don’t be fooled, I’m toooootally being selfish here, hahahaa. I just wouldn’t be able to see someone come in as Jules and play her with my history. It wouldn’t feel right at all.

Anyways, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has ever been a part of Julianne’s life here at Scandalous. 

To Britt, who gave me a BFF friendship for Jules that has been one of my favorite brotps ever. We never thought we could outdo our Chelsea and Lea friendship, but we did! @lea-sarfatixx 

To Jo, who isn’t in the role play anymore, who joined as Derek. I didn’t expect anyone to join as him when I promoed, but you came in and not only gave me the best Derek I could ask for, but you also gave me a real life friendship that will last a lifetime. I’m so thankful you joined that day and I am so thankful to have gained one of my best friends because of it! Houghlings for life!

To Zac, whom I haven’t spoken to in awhile and we’ve had our ups and downs, but I still need to thank. You gave me one of my favorite role play ships ever, and it was all completely unexpected/unplanned. McHough will always have a special place in my role play heart. Thank you for writing novels with me for those couple of years.

To Bobbie, also not in this role play anymore, but one of my BFFs in real life for making a deal with me - “I’ll play Jeff, you play Aaron” You saved my Jules muse after McHough ended unexpectedly. Such a solid bro!

To Gemma, I never expected to get another Jeff in the role play and you came out of no where with that app! I was so surprised and so happy. Thank you for being an amazing Jeff and an amazing role play partner! You’re incredible! @blaake-lively

To Tini, who freaked out with me over the Grease Live news! We had these girls friends even before that announcement and our RP juju was on point! @vanessabutterfly-hudgens

To Holly, you fucking made me think Sidney Crosby is tolerable! Hahahha. Only in RP tho ;) Seriously, though. Sidney/Jules friendship is one I’ll always cherish. That’s how you know someone is a great role player - when they play a person you don’t like in real life, and then you end up liking them in the rp!! @crosbysid87

To everyone else who formed a friendship with or plotted with Julianne - thank you! I never expected to last this long as one character in the role play, but damn, it was a fun ride! 

Jules is still my girl, apparently my “twin”, and will forever be one of my favorite celebs! But, even when you idolize someone in real life and follow their career closely, you can still lose that muse. 

I, of course, will still be here as Margot and Aaron so this isn’t an actual goodbye. I’m definitely keeping this blog for the memories. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll get a muse for Julianne back and rejoin as her, but for now, I have to bid her farewell. 

This is all making me so emotional, I almost feel like I’m about to be like Jordan Belfort in the Wolf of Wall Street being all “I’m not fucking leaving!” hahaha.

Okay, okay... I need to end this post. It’s all over the fucking place, hahaha. I love you, guys and if you ever want to plot with Aaron or Margot, my messages are always open and I’m always willing to plot/open to new ideas!

I won’t say this is goodbye forever to Jules, but goodbye for now!
