Not the same anon that before but I just wanted to react to the discourse. Scratch that ask if you don’t want to talk about it any further.

Here lies the whole problem imo. We don’t have to know about idols relationships, who they date etc, but the extreme secrecy around it is part of what drives the backlash once they announce their marriage or whatever. They shouldn’t have to go public about it, but just live their lives without having to live under complete secrecy. It’s probably a matter of cultural differences, ever since I’ve been into kpop it’s one aspect of idols life that I never understood. I live in Western Europe and here no one cares about celebrities dating, it’s totally normal. Sure, some hardcore fans might cry about it but honestly it’s pretty much a non issue. As long as idols continue to accept that life of secrecy, then unfortunately they’ll have to deal with those crazy bs reactions. That’s why personally I think Tae and Jennie have been really brave, they acted like a normal couple having a date night in Paris like any normal couple would have and they didn’t two fucks about it. It still sucks that people took pictures - it’s beyond me how people have the guts to take pics of ppl without their consent and drop it on the internet…- but I think that was an encouraging first time to show that they’re just regular human beings with regular love lives.

Hi anon. Don’t worry, I can definitely tell that you aren’t the same anon. I also think TaeJennie were brave. Idk why people skipped past the Paris thing or act like it didn’t mean anything because it was a huge step and definitely a choice. When Jennie’s phone got hacked and her private photos were leaked, they could have easily swept it under the rug and ignored it, but months later to hold hands and then she admits in a magazine interview that they are together? That’s huge.

I too am from the western world (the US not Europe) and I have a theory about why the idol culture is the way that it is there. And one of the factors I’ve always thought of is the size of the country. The US is huge. I don’t live anywhere near LA (a common place for celebs to live) and our transportation here is terrible so it’s not easy for me to get there. I know I would probably never see a celebrity. I feel so much more removed from them if that makes sense. But Korea is tiny in comparison. It only takes 4 hours by train to get between the two biggest cities on opposite ends of the country. I can’t even drive 4 hours and make it to a different state. I can see how the delulu there would be a lot stronger if you were in closer proximity to the idols. Even in rural parts of the country, distance wise you aren’t separated by much and one could theoretically move to Seoul easier than I could move to LA. It’s much easier to sell the y/n fantasy when you have a higher chance of being near an idol or a celeb in Korea. Just look at how many foreigners go visit Korea thinking they will run into idols (and some of them do). That’s crazy to me to want to do that but that’s not the point. I don’t know what it would take to shift their culture, but I suspect geography is a bigger part of the equation than people realize.

Is it Possible Kim Taehyung and Park Hyung-sik are dating?

V Joined the SDT because Park Hyung-sik served in the SDT. This TikTok blogger has some interesting videos making a case on her account that Tae and Park are dating. She is a jikook account and has lots of great videos.

There were rumors that the Wooga squad was homophobic, but I don't think so. They obviously support V who very much supports and who I think is part of the queer community. There have been rumors for years about V and Park Hyung-sik and even rumors with V and Park Seo-Joon.

What I do find interesting is this photo and song recommendation from Peak Boy on his IG story a couple of weeks ago. Two men kissing. After all the queer content in V's Layover album and his recent Fri(end)s release, I wonder if this is a soft push towards Tae dating both Park Hyung-sik and Jennie. Maybe Tae and Jennie are just friends. I personally think all these fan-service, media plays are to protect the real relationships of these folks. In particular, Jikook, Taejennie and according to this blogger, Tae and Park Hyun-sik.

Draw your own conclusions after watching her videos and the actions of all these folks. I would be interested in what you think. I love respectful discussion.

I don't like what's going on. I don't like how anyone who says they accept that Taejennie is real is being labeled as a Tae anti. I hate the negative Jimin talk when he didn't really do anything because I feel we will for sure get a taekook interaction soon. I feel very dissapointed in how some of us move right now. We can look for signs without all that intensity people already mock us and instead of being level head about it things get out of control

Everytime I go on twitter recently it's either taekookers bitching about jikookers and taennies, jikookers bitching about taekookers, taennies bitching about taekookers, army bitching about blinks, blinks bitching about army, and solo stans bitching about bts.

All the pettiness, vitriol and fighting is draining 😩

The best thing you can do for yourself is to try and limit your exposure to the toxic side of the fandom. It's not worth it, save your mental health.

I am very confused with taejennie issue. Unless Bighit clears it like they normally do with dating rumours, I'll be a bit doubtful. I'll wait and see how this unfolds.

I'm afraid, it's unlikely that BigHit will clarify the situation. It's clear from their statement that they view the matter a criminal and it's more or less in the police's hands now.

Also, like I (and many others have said), BigHit does not acknowledge rumours that come from anonymous places. If the Taennie rumour had come from a legit news source, like Dispatch, KBS, MBC, or influential social media site, or its dominating the news cycle in Seoul, they'd will do what they did when handling the Tae/Joanna Scandal; RM/marriage scandal; JK&97s Itaewon covid scandal; JK/Tattooist scandal.

BigHit have (at least to me), done what's best for its artist. It led a private investigation into repeated posts about the same rumour and found criminal activity was happening, then past this onto the police for them to handle. As soon as this last thing occurred, they released the statement giving an update. Outside of the police potentially giving updates, don't expect another update on this until December when they give their next quarterly legal proceedings update.

Remember as well, throughout all of this Tae has been quite relaxed, this tells me he's happy with the response by BigHit/HYBE.

No, I haven't. I don't keep up with them, but I did go and look for it now and it seems to be a match. I'm not surprised, this is nothing compared to what went up in September. And Army or whoever doesn't want any of this to be even remotely true, will say it's edited, with little chance for them to change their mind. Denial, not wanting to admit they were wrong. But mostly denial.

Oh, then, I'd say- calm down. These aren't official statements. I really doubt a confirmation of a relationship would be anything less than "Yes, they're in a relationship" posted on Dispatch, or one of their official accounts. This sounds more like the reporter asked them (whoever that is) about Taennie for the millionth time, and they replied with the standard "We don't know what they do in their private lives." statement.

Throughout the morning we've seen tweets from K-JKers denying that the audio of the vlive actually says "Jimin."

One of them:

I thought for a moment that maybe they were right because the two tweets that had so far backed up the version that JK mentions Jimin had been deleted (both Facty's and eunbbong's).

When I went to confirm what was going on with a k-moot, I was reminded that this account was one of those who were responsible for the cancellation of a beautiful project for the 5th anniversary of the GCF. I won't give much more detail, but if you were active on twitter last November, you might be familiar with it.

(We alrerady know solo stans can be insane...) Since that moment, I wondered if the k-koominers accounts were going to defend their translation or interpretation, or were they going to let it go.

If you think about it, no one wants unnecessary wars and or hate for the boys.

I've just seen this k-koominer account, from the Resistance, and I was a bit happy about it.😍���

To tell you the truth, what bothers me is not that these solo stans listen to other things. It's the fact that I keep seeing this:

But if BTS didn't put army before many other things, there wouldn't be any doubt about the nature of their true relationships, or we wouldn't have Suga deliberately talking about how they've been living together for 10 years in his last interview, when they've practically all been living apart since 2018, for example.

For now, and imo, the time when BTS treats army as adults and moves away from kpop/Ships/fanservice culture… has not arrived (YET) (even if Taejennie exists and is real)

Of course, a Taejennie account did it.

When Gurumi appeared, I had to make a second account to follow all the taejennie news and leaks.

I didn't want to get jikook or the jikookers dragged in any of this (now I am not hiding anymore 😆)

I ended up on some GCs with blinks and taejennies.. and I must say I didn't stay so long (as expected, there are a lot of homophobic views on that side of kpop).

On the contrary, on the positive side, they are much more free and daring than armys and jikookers (because they don’t have to be scared about being cancelled by their own pack, under the ot7 thing)

I am not naive. I know that the Taekookers are not going to give up. But taejenniers are growing, they don't shrink and I think they are going to be their worst nightmare 😂.

Hopefully, we're going to have less tkkers wandering around in our posts and tweets.
