Your seamstress was going through different fabrics, trying to decide which was better for your dress. Velvet? No, too basic. Silk? Are you kidding?

“I don’t even understand why I have to go to this event anyway”, you complained. “Isn’t this event for celebs only?”

“Well, you are technically a celebrity now," Jae spoke. “Get over it. People like me would love to see MAMA live.”

“Why don’t you?” you looked at him from the platform, your seamstress currently putting pins in your dress. “You could be my plus one, or however that works.”

“You, showing up on the carpet with your assistant?” He raised an eyebrow. “Isn’t that kind of sad?”

You rolled your eyes. “You’re not just my assistant. You’re literally my only friend.”

“Even more sad”, Jae teased. You playfully flipped him off.

“Whatever, I guess you’ll be watching Itzy perform on your couch.”

“Wait”, He paused. “Who said I wasn’t gonna go?”

“Maam, can we have Jae fitted as well?”

It was going to be a good night. You didn’t even think about the drama at work, even though the only reason you’re going to the event is to promote your deal with bts.

All of the flashing lights from the cameras made you go blind. The screaming voices blocked your hearing. “Miss Kim over here!” That was all you could hear.

The interviews were exhausting. The walking was killing your feet.

You and Jae sat together, front and center.

“Well, we look iconic”, He boasted. “People might start making dating rumors about us.”

“As if”, you scoffed. “They should know we would never work.”

“Because you snore”, Jae teased. “You’re a terrible cook, you make really corny dad jokes, and you watch way too much anime.”

You punched his arm. “Shut up! I get it.” You and Jae kept talking until the boys walked by, sitting in the seats behind you. Jae was about to tease some more but you hit him again, sending him a death glare.

“Maybe we should say hi?” Tae suggested. “I mean, if we're gonna be seeing each other this often we should probably try to get along.”

A hand landed gently on your shoulder, making you quickly whip your head around.

“H-hey”, he stammered. “It’s nice to see you again.”

You laughed. “Is it really?”

Their smiles faltered.

“You’re exhausting, you know that?” Jimin avowed. “You act like you’re all high and mighty when you’re just a little girl from a nunnery mooching off of your ex boyfriend.”

“Jimin, what the–”

“It's true! I know we’re all thinking it” He blurted, causing people to focus their attention on the conversation.

Jae stood up immediately, Jimin imitated. “You don’t want to start this right now”, he advised.

You sat there silently, staring at your lap. Jin knew you weren’t going to feed into it. That’s just not the type of person you were. He wanted to say something, but what could he say to make any of this right? It was better to keep quiet, hoping that this would all be over soon.

But hope is for suckers– that’s what you always remind yourself of.

“You think you know me?” You spoke so softly, they almost didn’t hear you. “ You think you know about my past? You think Jin just told you everything? I know he didn’t…”

They sat and looked at each other, waiting for you to speak again.

“How would you know?”

“Because if he did, you wouldn’t be sitting next to him right now.” You got up and walked away. It was all too much, too soon. The boys were looking at Jin who was looking in his lap, embarrassed and ashamed.

“You should tell the truth Seokjin”, Jae warned. “Before you make things worse.”

𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟏

For the first time in years, the orphanage felt cold, dark. Miss Jang was gone. She was still alive, but very ill. Being near the fireplace gave you nightmares and cooking in the kitchen made you nauseous. The orphanage didn’t feel like home anymore, and the nun that replaced Miss Jang made it even worse.

Clean this. Scrub that. You’re doing it all wrong!

You felt like Cinderella, before the big ball and glass slippers. On the wall next to the fireplace was a punishment board. If your chores weren’t done properly, you had to choose a punishment from the board.

Punishment #1: 25 smacks to the face

Punishment #2: 15 whiplashes

Punishment #3: Hot coals

Punishment #4: 10 cuts to each arm

Punishment #5: 30 paddleboard spanks

The nuns chose for you to make it seem fair, but you knew it was so that they would have the upper hand. Everyday, you and the other children lived in fear. With no one to call and no one to save you, the other kids looked up to you to help them. To save them.

And you did just so, without his help.

The last time you called Jin was the day of the escape, but there’s no point in even mentioning it because he didn’t do a thing.

“Jin”, you whispered, fearful of someone hearing you. You had to sneak a phone from one of the nuns since they took yours as a punishment for the floors not being clean. You think the only reason he even answered the phone is because it was a different number. “I really need your help.”

You explained to him everything that was happening, from Miss Jang being sick to all of the children walking around, black and blue.

“Ynie”, he sighed. “I can’t just stop what I’m doing to come help you.” And there it was. That was the moment when your life changed, when everything turned.

“B-but you promised”, you stammered. “You promised to come back for me.”

“I’m sorry Yn, but I have to go.”

“Y-you lied…”

You didn’t even bother going back to your seat. Instead, you and Jae went back to his place with some takeout.

“I don’t know if you should keep working with them”, Jae confessed while biting into a piece of fried chicken. “They totally disrespected you, publicly! You could’ve said anything back, but you didn’t.”

“It wasn’t worth it”, you said simply, shrugging your shoulders. Yes, you and Jin were friends at one point– best friends actually. But that just puts things in a new perspective for you. Everything that happened at the event just pushed you to persevere.

It made you want to prove that Kim Seokjin was a coward, always will be.

But you’re not. You weren’t a coward when you broke out of the orphanage and exposed it for what it really was. You weren’t a coward when you were starting a business from nothing. You weren’t a coward even when Jin was around to protect you.

And you’re gonna prove it.

The next meeting with Bangtan went smoothly– mostly because you weren’t there. You had Jae take notes and brief you of the meeting. Then you spoke your opinions through him. It worked for you, but you knew Jae was tired of it.

“Just go to the meeting this time”, he begged you. “Please! When I go it’s awkward. They barely even speak. Namjoon-shii does all the talking.”

You rolled your eyes, sitting at your desk in your office. “Stop being a crybaby Jae. You’re my assistant, aren’t you?”

“Yeah but I’m not Kim yn”, Jae mocked. “They want to see you, not me. You came to the investors meeting, why not theirs?”

“Because Jae, my investors didn’t publicly shame me into leaving the first event I’ve ever attended. I’m not going until I receive a formal apology.”

It had seemed like your persistence had worked. The next day you received a phone call.

“Naturally”, you whispered to yourself before picking up the phone. “Miss Kim speaking.”

“Ynie”, He spoke hesitantly.

Kim Seokjin.

“What do you want? I'm busy.” He could hear the aggravation in your voice, how you raised your tone. It scared him. You weren’t the same little girl that he met all those years ago– and it was all his fault.

“I j-just wanted to apol–”

“No”, you interrupted. “If he is truly sorry, he will apologize to me himself. It has nothing to do with you.”

He sighed. “But it does. All of it is my fault… and I don’t know what to do about it.”

You paused, not knowing what to say next. You felt your emotional barrier about to fade, and it was terrifying. The protection you spent years trying to build, all gone because the guy that you used to adore said sorry.

“Why did you do it?” There was only one way to get past this, for you and him to move on. You needed answers. It was scary though, asking for the answers he probably doesn’t have.

“You promised that you would come back if I ever needed you, that if I was ever in trouble, you would be there. Well, you lied. I almost died and you were nowhere to be found. The Jin I knew would’ve never left me for dead. So what’s the excuse?”

“Princess..”

“You don’t get to call me that anymore,” your voice began to falter. Tears started to escape your watery eyes. You couldn’t hold it in anymore. “How is it that you can live with everything you’ve done, going on with your life, and I’m the one who has nightmares?”

You could hear him sobbing, phone mostly likely discarded next to him. “I'm sorry. I’m so sorry.” He repeated it over and over again. It was like he was on a loop– stuck.

“J-jin?”

“I wanted to s-save you, but he– he wouldn’t let me. It’s all my fault.” He sobbed some more, twisting and turning on his uncomfortable couch.

“Who, Jin? What are you talking about?”

After a good ten minutes, the crying stopped. You heard some sniffles here and there, sounding like he was trying to gain his composer again.

“I can’t tell you now”, he spoke softly. “He might be listening.”

You froze. Phone tapping? Who on earth is he talking about?

“Jin… Who are you talking about?”

“Your father”, he whispered. “He might be listening.”

I try not to get into certain discussions lately because I'm at a point in life I'm set on my delusions and no theory or insecure rants can shake me off.

Clinging on to the jikook branch for dear life over here.

Do I wish for more jikook moments scoop and tea??? YESSSS. WHO WOULDN'T. WE ARE ALL INSATIABLE

But I would be very worried if all Jimin did was wait around all day for Jungkook to call or if all Jk did was sit around and mop cos he had nothing to do but hang out with Park Jimin. Way to kill the attraction.

Some of us are so dysfunctionally codependent we ache at healthy dynamics when it's infront of us.

They are both in their prime and should be booked busy. And if they aren't then are they even top tier icons???

I said this before their Solo that I don't expect them to interact at all in this phase of their careers and any interaction we get from them will be because of a conscious deliberate intentional decision to spend time together and nurture their bond.

And this goes to all BTS members.

Their bond will die if they aren't proactively making time to bond with eachother and hang out or reconnect.

And Tae, Jungkook and Jin were the members I worried about the most about disconnecting from the members. For Jimin, he is Jimin and so I have nothing to worry about.

It's Tae branching off to make his own in the Sope with his double U squad and fostering new relationships and friendships I worried about.

Jin and Jk are also the most introverted lot who I thought enjoyed their own company and the video games to want to put in the effort to consciously connect with the others.

But even that, JK has really surprised me. Not only is he making the effort he is open to cooperating with the others as and when they reach out.

I don't want to hear any insecure delulu shipper going off about them having few moments- they don't live to feed ships. Take the crumbs and go. And if it's not enough for you take your left to the exit

My favorite drama couples

In no particular order and some minor SPOILER warning!) → Feel free to add your own favorite couples to the post, so we can share the love.

Sh**ting Stars (Oh Han-byul / Gong Tae-sung):

They are one of my absolute favorite couples in any drama I’ve watched so far. I don’t know what it is about them, but they are just so good together! (And it doesn’t hurt that the actors have an amazing chemistry). Enemies to lovers is a guilty pleasure trope for me, and this does it perfectly – they bicker so much in the beginning, but slowly realize that they actually make a great team, and they come to rely on each other a lot. They actually communicate properly, sharing their worries without being judged, and the drama never relies on something as silly as miscommunication as a point of drama for them. It’s not often a drama makes me actually smile like a complete lovesick idiot when watching, but this just goes straight to my heart. The drama might not be my fave overall, as it has its own issues, but I’ll watch it 100 times over for them.

Hidden Love (Sang Zhi / Duan Jiaxu):

At first, I didn’t think I was going to like this drama too much as I was unsure about the whole age gap thing, but oh my word. This drama had me giggling like a teenager with a crush, and I was unable to stop smiling for most of it. They are so stinking cute together, and the fact that they actually communicate their thoughts and feelings with each other throughout it all is so important – especially with how their relationship started. I feel like I’m just repeating myself from what I said about Sh**ting Stars, but both of these couples just make me happy to watch. This relationship in particular has raised my standards so high, I’m probably going to end up single for the rest of my life. This drama really is all it’s hyped up to be and more.  

Happiness (Yoon Sae-bom / Jung Yi-hyun):

A fake marriage of convenience between two best friends, who both secretly have feelings for each other ?- sign me the fuck up. Two strong people who support each other through everything (in this case, an outbreak of zombies in their complex) – what more could you ask for? They just get each other, and both are willing to walk through hell and back for the other. We sadly don’t actually get to see them together all that much after they’ve finally confessed, but they acted like a couple anyway, so I’m not too sad about it. 

Fight For My Way (Ko Dong-man / Choi Ae-ra):

They have known each other for so long and, though they bicker, they are always the first to defend the other no matter what. They support each other’s dreams the best they can (though Ae-ra does have a problem with the fighting, and she tries to make him quit by making him choose between her and fighting, which I am not about, but I do get she’s just scared he’ll get hurt again). Either way, there is just something so pure about their love and the way they both slowly realize just what their feelings have evolved into as they grew up together.   

Doom at your service (Doom / Tak Dong-kyung):

These two had a rocky start, but I also feel like it only made them work better as a couple. The iconic lines: “So my plan is to love you, then I'll be able to live without losing anything.” / “Then let's do it right, love me to the point that you want to destroy the world for me.” are forever ingrained in my mind. It’s about both of them learning what life could actually be if you let yourself feel and live for yourself instead of living for everyone else. They help each other through it all until they both realize they deserve love, and I find that really beautiful.

On your new account, you'll set up your blog. User icon, description, settings, etc. You get one blog per account. Consider making this your "everything" blog, where you make your original posts AND reblog things.

Consider making a Community that will serve the same purpose as a tumblr sideblog. For example, I made my main blog ceylon-tae and then made the Community "ceylon-tae-art". Just make the Community for now.

Did you set your NSFW and blacklist preferences? You should. Filters & Blacklist have their own link in the sidebar, so you don't have to go into your Settings every time you want to blacklist something. Easy!

Join some more Communities! Think of joining a [Fandom] Community like following the [Fandom] tag on tumblr. Posts from that Community will show up on your feed now! Here is a list of the currently-most-active communities.

Follow some people! You might have seen some of your comrades on tumblr posting their Pillowfort accounts, or maybe you really liked someone's post in a Community and you decide you'd like to follow them! Go follow them! Their posts will show up on your feed now!

Make a post! Remember to add any relevant tags to the post, especially if your post is NSFW, and don't cen/s0r your tags. Your post will now show up on your blog, and you can control who can see it, reblog it, or comment to it. You can make text, image, video, or link posts.

Now you can reblog that post you made to your Community that you made! Or to another Community someone else made! Some Communities review submitted reblogs before posting them, others do not. Remember to add the relevant tags to your reblog here as well.

Reblog posts you enjoyed, so you can show it to your followers!

If you have something to say about the post, Pillowfort has a nested comments section! Livejournal / Dreamwidth / Reddit users will find this familiar. Newbies will hopefully find it easy to learn: make your own comment, reply to the comments other people have made, talk to people in a space that's made for talking and replying.

You can make your own hush-hush commentary in your tags when you reblog a post to your blog, but these tags are not visible anywhere else. So Pillowfort is not gonna rat you out to OP when you make weird tags on your reblog. But also there is no bulit-in way to read everyone's tags in one long list.

You cannot make addendums to posts when you reblog them. If you want to add something, make a comment! Or make your own post and include link to the original post.

Seriously. Comments section. Good stuff. If you enjoy a post, check out its comment section. For comparison, tumblr discussions lived in reblogs, but comments on AO3 fics are what makes an author's world go 'round. Comments are where discussion lives on Pillowfort. So comment on the post if you have something to say! You can have real discussions again! GO. BE FREE. You can also do a Kung Pow Penis in nested comments if you want to. Nested comments are good.

Likes just tell OP you liked the post. That's it. It's just like how kudos works on AO3.

Remember, there's no algorithm, so Likes don't boost any post's visibility, and if you want other people to see a post, you reblog it. If you want to see posts, you follow people and communities, or you dive into the tags for yourself.

Seol Hee is a K-pop star who gains ice powers after a rather disastrous debut. In 4L1T, the group she’s in, she was dubbed as Luna (aka her idol name) which became her official hero name! Interestingly, she does occasionally save the world while juggling her idol life. Truly an icon. Also, fun fact! She has an official spotify and released songs so go stream!

Lin Lie was a young man from Shanghai when his father gave him the sword of Fu Xi. The mystical sword dispels demons and its goal is to stop Chiyou from re-emerging. After several fuck ups in DODS: White Fox, the sword shattered and Lie was tossed into a cliff. We learn after a while that he did not die, in fact he got revived by the chi of Shou-Lao which grants him the Iron Fist.

Pearl Pangan

Pearl Pangan grew up by the beach on Mactan Island in Cebu, Philippines. She loved the sea and became a really good swimmer, having the potential to win the Olympics. However, obstacles in life turned her aside from that path. She was approached by AlonTech who used Pearl’s swimming abilities to conduct experiments on her. AlonTech was eventually attacked by the Triumph Division and during this attack, Pearl was exposed to several unknown energies which granted her the ability to control water.

Dan Bi is the daughter of an antique shop owner. One day after Tae Kwon Do class, she returned home to see her father's shop in ruins, her father nowhere to be found. Bounty hunters entered the building and hearing them, she hid under a bed, finding the mask that contained Io. On the quest to search for her father, Dan Bi went after the buyer of an artefact, leading her to Jimmy Woo, who recruited her into the New Agents of Atlas. Keep in mind she’s like 11 or something.
