Summary/plot: Waking up our hero finds themself isekaied as their video game character after passing out playing said video game. Although, they did not get isekaied into that video game world. The MC soon finds out that he is a skeleton, as he never customized anything on his character because he was always going to wear armor anyway. Or I think that’s the reason… regardless he is a skeleton. He decides to use his overwhelming OP power to do good in this new world. He soon makes friends with a small mascot spirit fox guy, an elf girl, and animal eared ninja girl. Together they take on a mysteries group doing evil monster/undead army stuff. I’m sorry the group is just the church or at least head people of the church. Stereotypical I know.

Art Style: I would say, standard good art. The MC is always wearing armor, so it is good that the armor and cloths, at least for the main cast, look cool and detailed. Monsters are also neat; they got a good number of weird creepy ones. Also, they have cute chibi faces when they want to have a lot of text so you know who’s talking. Which I may have complained more about if not for the chibi faces. It’s a comic, so you need to show things with pictures, not explain things with talking.

Personal thoughts: So first instinct is to compare this manga to Overlord, being that they are both about a guy who got isekaied as his skeleton video game character who is OP. But other than that, they aren’t that similar to me. The MC of this manga is more of a paladin, able to use a range of holy magic and a sword. He also doesn’t get a bunch of NPCs that come with him. It seems to be the kind of “OP MC goes around being OP and solving any problems they come across”. But the other side characters aren’t that powerless compared to the MC. I mean he is still a lot stronger than the other characters, but hey can still be trusted to deal with tough problems themselves. The elf girl’s mom is actually on pair if not better than the MC in terms of sword play.

Most of the manga’s plot is the main cast going on some kind of mission, normally a rescue the kidnapped people kind of deal. They got that people kidnapping elves and bestmen and being perverted about it, problem. It changes into dealing with the church who like to use undead and other monsters to attack cities. There is also the subplot that the MC or removing the “curse” on himself that makes him a skeleton. With that being his avatar that he was drop into the world with, it started more as a character background he made up for himself that turned into something of interest that actually has world building details behind it.

I think it is a good manga. It’s got a good deal of action. A lot of big displays of power from the MC. I like how the relationships grow between the main cast. There isn’t too much lewding in the manga, but the main elf girl is subjected to it here and there. She’s got the nice assets with a titty window and all. Her mom is hot too. Also, the main beast girl has an amount of butt shots, though not the best quality. Sadly, unless you like skeleton bods, there aren’t any good lewd shots of the MC. There is a good balance of small funny moments and drama. For me at least.

Now does it being an isekai bring anything to the story? No not really. Other than that’s why the MC is a skeleton and one world building aspect, there really isn’t much value in this being an isekai.

 Characters:

Arc: The MC, he is a skeleton in a suit of armor. He is a genuinely nice person who will help those in need. He isn’t that 3 dimensional of a character. He doesn’t have anything heavy weighing on him. He just doesn’t like people suffering. Honesty not a whole lot more to him. Just think Superman’s personality but willing to kill badguys.

Ponta: the fox spirt mascot for the manga. Arc rescues him and they make quick friends. Ponta helps the non-human races trust Arc real quick because if a spirt trusts him then he’s good. Ponta does typical cute mascot things, so not much. But he is a valued member of the team.

Danka: The first elf Arc meets, but he is more of a side character who shows up a couple times. He is pretty strong and capable. He isn’t the most trusting of people and is down to business.

Arian: The main elf girl. Arc helps her saving some other elves and she quickly trusts him after that. She is also the first one Arc tells about him being a skeleton. Being a skeleton doesn’t stop her from forming a crush on him though. Of course, she denies this. It isn’t something that happens instantly. She is a strong fighter. Dependable and confident with her abilities, so long as you aren’t a human you could trust her. She really hates racism and racists.

Chiyome: The Ninja beast-girl. This is the one with the tragic back story. You see her adoptive big brother named Sasuke turned evil after going missing and now she will stop at nothing to find him and bring him back. Well, after she finds out he is evil and he tries to kill her… it turns into more of a “he my family so I have to be the one to take care of him” deal. She is a typical ninja. She is a child as far as I can tell, probably in her early to mid-teens. She has some childish aspects, but she mostly just acts as a professional.

Other Info: As of 3/13/22 there are 47 chapters. They are decently lengthed chapters with a lot of text sometimes so it may take some time to get through them. They don’t update too often. Also there is an anime for it coming up.

 All in all: It’s pretty good. When a new chapter comes out, I go read it but I’m not comping at the bit for it. On terms of fantasy manga, I’d list it above the average in quality. It keeps your attention, it fun, go on and check it out.
