Reposted from @my_bong_kitchen It’s season of Taal (Palm)... and at our home we love each dish made of Taal..During Janmashtami we usually prepare all these.. but this year I am bit late .. but better late than never...this year I prepared Taaler Bora (Palm fritter),Taaler luchi and taal kheer... Here is the recipes for you all 🙂 Taaler bora ...palm fritter Remove the seeds of palm and soak in water for 3-4 hours...get the pulp from the seeds in a bowl using grater and transfer it to a soft muslin cloth...keep.the pulp tied in the muslin cloth hanging for overnight,to take out the bitterness from the pulp... Now ,mix 4 ripe banana paste,3 tb sp ground fresh coconut, 150 gm flour,2/3 tb sp rice flour,3/4 tb sp semolina, 150 gm jaggery...mix well...n fry in mustard oil in small ball like shape Taaler luchi Add flour,palm pulp,1 tea sp sugar,4 tea sp white oil,make a soft dough using milk..do not use water.. Then prepare luchi with the dough Taal kheer Mix pulp of palm,equal qty of ground coconut,n milk...mix well ..and put it on flame ...after it started boiling add sugar and keep boiling untill it become a gravy like consistency...
