Western Dominance of Animated Film

When one thinks of animated movies, they often recall a Disney or Pixar film they saw as a child. The popularity of primarily American animated films is felt globally, with the films that we feel nostalgia for being known names in foreign countries as well. However, foreign producers and animators are not often known in the western world.

[text] You sure? Because I'll probably be out of there by seven, it just seems like that's not normal "dinner" time is all. I still want to get you tacos and stuff, don't think I'm ditching you because of you or something. I just have to go get a house key and meet some children, apparently.

[text] ... The most I can do is text my sister, I don't have custody of her so.. I sort of just have to hope she has good judgement. She sent me a picture of her the other day with some people and there was a boy in the picture and she was like "don't worry about him" but I'm pretty sure I should. Olly is pretty smart though so it's fine.

[text] I mean, if she grew up with you.. I’m sure you taught her things and good judgment was probably one of them? West, I’m gonna head to bed. Thanks for the advice again. Try to get some sleep, okay?

[text] just the one, i think. her name's olive. i thought i was funny when i named her that but now she says "it's also a tasty snack" and im waiting for the day a perv says oh you're a tasty snack or something and i have to beat him up. she'll be seventeen in june.

[text] you got to name her? that’s pretty special, i think. protective older brother, huh? seventeen, oooh. that’s around the age of hormones and lots of boys. good luck.. to her. you’re probably gonna interrogate any boy who even dares to hangout with her. my little sister was on the monkey bars one day and this kid kicked her in the ribs on purpose. you have no idea how hard it is to refrain yourself from lashing out on a third grader.

[text] home depot smells like fresh cut wood all the time and the have the little kitchen section with all the examples of what your kitchen can look like and my sister used to always run there and play house when she was little and i'd just go along with it until we had to leave. thats why i like home depot

[text] i used to do the same thing with the kitchens except my little sister was way too little to play along and my older sister refused to do anything with me. how many siblings do you have?

[text] plus i'm allowed to smoke in my apartment but i don't like being in confined spaces and smoking, it just gets trapped and my face gets really hot. yeah i mean i've ridden a bike twice and i know they say you don't forget how to ride a bike but i'm pretty sure you actually do so. brookstone is my second favorite store, my first is home depot.

[text] i hate the smell of cigarette smoke. home depot is so random. why home depot? i used to always go with my nanny and take like 10 paint swatches and look at all of the lights they have on display but i wouldn’t call it my favorite. although i do like those little cart things that they have.

[text] i am afraid of heights and i also don't know how to swim yet i went into a pool with you. i also don't know how to ride a bike and i've never been on a plane. i hate sand but i like that sand that you can mold into stuff omg they have it on tv have you touched it before i found it at the fancy store in the mall with all the expensive shit :(

[text] i think you could learn how if you ever really had the desire to. i mean, it’s not like you were flailing around. you don’t know how to ride a bike but i call you motorcycle west and motorcycles are ten times more dangerous than bikes. brookstone or something. they have all kinds of weird shit in there like helicopters and massage chairs and every time i pass it, i’m always like no keep walking.

[text] yeah i live on the very top floor in a bad part of town so no one wants to live here really the rent is cheaper on the lower floors bc they get broken into sometimes but i paid to have an apartment with a balcony too. i wouldn't say im good with advice, but i wouldn't say i'm bad. i'm just not a people person obviously so i wouldn't trust my word every time

[text] it hasn’t failed me yet well except that night when you advised me to hurry my ass up and get out of the pool and i smashed my knee against the side. although that was more of a demand instead of advice and that was all of my fault lol what’d you want a balcony for? i thought you were afraid of heights.

[text] i live on the fifth floor i don't even have neighbors on my level. actually i think i got one like two weeks ago but they could be dead for all i know, i've never seen them. well i think normal people give second chances, so you're fine just if they fuck up again then say bye? i have a no bullshit tolerance but i dont know if you've noticed but i'm always alone so i think i'm way overboard to be honest but... oh well

[text] i wouldn’t know because you never invite me over ahem. i have neighbors but they’re both super old and nice and it’s quite possible that they think i’m their long lost grand daughter or something because they always bring me things but they hate lua? idk. second chances, that’s the phrase. i hope you don’t mind the advice asking but you’re good at it so.

[text] my landlord doesn't know what i have pets though and he doesn't know tobias and blue are there. were there. whatever. he doesn't even know my name, i have to remind me every time i go downstairs to pay the rent, i'm just the "tall kid with big eyebrows". what's up talk to me princess

[text] does your pig not make noises. i thought pigs constantly squealed or something. you’d think he’d know your name after you fork out 700 bucks every month. i didn’t even notice your eyebrows, but now that you mention them…. lol just kidding. OKAY so if someone flat out admitted that they stood you up and later apologized and asked if you could hangout again.. would you just be like nah or.. AND also what if you already said yes. does that make you extremely desperate or just dumb as fuck
