The Most Important Thing
Idol: Jennie (BlackPink)
Prompt: Hello, glad to see you guys are back! Can i request for blackpink jennie scenario under a hogwarts au? So jennie and her s/o (gender neutral if possible - or male) are both slytherin students who were having a big argument right before her s/o’s quidditch match. During the match, her s/o (chaser position) lost focus and fell from the sky. You can decide whether the ending should stay angsty. Thank you for entertaining this oddly specific request from a Slytherin anon :D
Writer: Admin Kiwi
A/N: I’ve had this idea in my head but it took me a while to decide how I wanted to write the end. Why are endings so hard? Anyway, I hope you all enjoy!
Warnings: Cursing and injuries

The Slytherin common room was colder than usual, seats abandoned as the other students slipped back to their rooms, leaving the two of you alone. Jennie wasn’t sure why she was feeling so angry, angry enough to grit her teeth together until her jaw hurt. Maybe it was because she hadn’t been sleeping much in order to study for the upcoming exams, maybe it was because she’d been feeling sick from the stress of classes and from an oncoming cold, maybe it was because she’d skipped dinner, or maybe it was all of those things combined. But whatever it was, it was strong enough to ignite a fire in her veins at even the slightest change in your tone, starting what would now be the third fight of the week when you knocked her water over onto her notes and your apology sounded too insincere for her tastes.
“You know how hard I’ve been studying,” she spat out, jumping from her seat as the last Slytherin student scurried away, sensing the oncoming danger. “And you still have the nerve not to apologize when you ruin my hard work by spilling water all over my notes?”
“I did apologize,” you retorted, your voice rising. “But you’re too far up your own ass these days to realize when someone’s being sincere. Or to even realize when anyone else is around!”
“What are you even talking about? Why are you upset? I did nothing to you!”
“You’ve been putting me off for the last few weeks and when we finally do get to talk you blow up and scream at me! Do you really think I meant to knock over your water? Do you think I’m that mean of a person?”
“I think you’re pissed because I’m paying more attention to my notes instead of you.”
Your face grew red as you glared at her, your fists clenching at your sides. “Maybe I am, and maybe I’m pissed because you’ve done nothing but argue with me this week. Maybe I’m pissed because you blamed me for distracting you when all I’m trying to do is be a good partner. But you’re the petty one, not me. I wouldn’t ruin your notes on purpose.”
“Oh really? You wouldn’t? Because you seemed pretty happy to see my notes gone, now you won’t have to compete with them any more.” She narrowed her eyes, her heart beginning to beat faster as her anger grew. “You know, you should think about how it feels to be ignored by your partner for something else. Because I have to be ignored for quidditch every single year but do you ever hear me complaining? No, I go to every single one of your stupid games to watch you sit around in the sky until your one moment to shine comes. And I’ve certainly never done anything to disrupt your game!”
“Quidditch isn’t stupid! It’s a game that goes back centuries, I thought a bookworm like you would at least now that. And I hardly ever put quidditch before you, I have always invited you along to team practices and tryouts. You just don’t want to go because you have better things to do than to support my passion.” You were obviously seething, but Jennie refused to back down, tilting her chin up in defiance as you threw your hands into the air. “And I told you that I didn’t knock over your water, what else do you want me to do? Get on my fucking knees and grovel for your forgiveness?”
“You could have at least tried to act like you understood how many hours of work you just wasted. You could have tried to sympathize with me instead of immediately saying that we could get more time together with them gone. When you say something like that, how am I supposed to think that you didn’t do it on purpose?”
“I was joking. Since when can’t you take a joke?”
“I can’t take a joke when it comes to passing my exams. They’re the most important thing right now, why can’t you understand that?”
You stood still and silent for a moment, your jaw clenched shut “More important than me?” You asked, your voice tight.
She wasn’t sure what came over her. Before today, she would have never said anything like this. But the words came out on their own, bitter and angry. “Right now? Yes.”
“I see how it is. Have it your way, then.” Your eyes were hard and cold as you stalked past her, your robes trailing behind you. She refused to turn back and watch you go, instead huffing as she fell back into her chair and curled her hair around her fingers, tugging at it in frustration. Great, now she’d lost both her notes AND you. But she was still too stubborn and upset to apologize. Plus, you’d been acting strange lately, it wasn’t just her fault.
Gathering her wet notes, she stood up and headed back to her dorm room, deciding to focus on rescuing her notes instead of on the pain and anger swirling in her chest. It was easier to focus on school and planning than on emotions.
-
At some point, groups of students moving around and talking in the hall could be heard, and Jennie looked up from her work to glance at the clock. Ah, it was almost time for your quidditch game. Rolling her eyes, she turned back to her notes, carefully copying down the words she could still make out. If you weren’t going to support her in her studies, then she didn’t care to support your game. She didn’t care if Slytherin won or not.
Still, not long after the hallway became quiet again, she sat up and stretched her sore back, raising her arms up over her head, then turning side to side before glancing back at the clock. The game had started. It was weird not being in the stands, but she shook her head and tried to focus again.
But the words on the wet paper started to blur even more and she let out a frustrated groan, leaning back into her chair and rubbing her hands over her face.
“Why is everything going wrong today?”She muttered to herself, staring up at the ceiling. Her body ached from the nonstop bending over to study, and her fingers were sore from holding the quill. Plus, the fight from earlier kept replaying in her mind, and she couldn’t stop glancing at the clock.
“Oh, whatever!” She stood up from her desk and grabbed her robes and wand, throwing them on as she headed out the door. She would just slip into the stands and stay long enough to watch the game. That should be enough to stretch out her muscles and to keep her from being distracted when she came back, without having to apologize. That would be too humiliating, especially when the entire house witnessed the fight.
-
The stands were loud as usual, and Jennie slipped in unnoticed, staying at the back of the crowd with her hair covering most of her face. She didn’t really want you to see her in the stands. For a moment, she searched for you above the other players, unable to find you until she saw you floating high above the goalpost. Your face was determined, as usual, but you seemed more stiff than usual, gripping your broom harder than she’d ever seen you grip it before.
Swallowing, she quickly turned her attention back to the rest of the game. She didn’t want to think about how she was the reason behind your poor stance, especially since she knew she would never hear the end of it if it was her that made you lose.
Staring at the goalpost, she started to zone out. Why had she even come? It wasn’t like she hated the game, but she should be studying. Had she come just to see you again? Because she felt bad?
She did feel a little bad. Sighing, she leaned back against her chair and crossed her arms, deep in thought. She had snapped at you, for sure, but you had snapped right back. The fight hadn’t been totally her fault. Both of you were stressed and upset to begin with. Still, she thought she should probably apologize when she got the chance. Just the thought made her frown a bit, because she hated admitting when she was wrong. But this time, she knew she probably should at least tell you that she hadn’t meant the last part. Especially since she actually loved you, and she didn’t want this petty fight to be the end of the relationship.
Yeah, she’d talk to you once the game was over, or maybe tomorrow, after she had gotten some sleep. That would work.
She was about to get up to leave, satisfied with her conclusion, when the students around her began to scream, jumping from their seats. At first, she guessed that the game must have been won, but when she turned around, she saw why they were screaming.
And her blood ran cold.
You were falling.
Your body tumbled from above the goalpost, spinning and flipping with your robes flying above your head as you reached for your broom, your fingers grasping at air. You couldn’t quite reach it, and Jennie’s mouth opened, but no sound came out. Her feet were rooted to the ground, her body frozen as she watched you fall, almost in slow motion. She wanted to scream, to pull out her wand and try to do something, to call your name, or to do anything! But she couldn’t.
All she could do was watch in horror as you plummeted downwards and collided with the muddy ground with a terrible thud. It was only when she saw your body lying still on the ground that a sound ripped from her throat and she cried out your name, turning the attention in the stands to her.
She screamed your name again and rushed forward, ready to jump off the stands to get down to you, but you didn’t respond. You didn’t move, even as your teammates, Madam Hooch, and the medic witches rushed towards you. As she pushed her body over the railing she felt hands grabbing at her robes and body, pulling her back.
“Let me go!” She screamed, trying to yank herself away. “I have to get to them! I need to get down there!”
“You can’t jump from here,” someone said, “you’ll get hurt too.”
“I don’t care!” Jennie’s face felt hot, and it was only then that she realized she was sobbing, tears running down her cheeks and neck as she struggled against her classmates and the teachers who rushed into the area to hold her back. “I have to get to them, I can’t lose them!”
“You can’t, they have to take them to the hospital wing,” someone else told her, “look, they’re taking them away now.”
“(Y/N) will be okay.” The voice tried to assure her, but as she watched your limp body be placed on a stretcher and carried away, her heart plummeted into her stomach and she only sobbed harder, sagging in the arms of the people around her.
“I have to get to them,” she repeated through gasps, barely able to see through the tears. “I can’t let them go. I still have things I have to say to them. I still haven’t said I was sorry!”
The students around her fell silent at her words, all having heard the argument between the two of you earlier. No one could say anything to comfort her, even as they tried to pat her back and find her a handkerchief, too upset and nervous to say anything, leaving the silence to suffocate her.
Just as Jennie felt her world collapsing around her, her lungs struggling to gasp in air as her brain reminded her of all the things she did wrong, she felt a hand on her shoulder.
“It’s going to be okay, Jennie.” Irene, the Slytherin prefect and her friend, wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close even as she dry heaved and shivered. “(Y/N) is being taken care of by the best of Hogwarts. We’ll be able to see them soon. Come on, I’ll help you get back to the dorms. I’m not going to leave you alone until you’ve calmed down.”
Jennie wasn’t sure she could stand up or stop crying, but she allowed the other girl to support her and wipe away her tears. All she wanted to do was see you. All she wanted to do was make sure you were okay.
“I’ll take you to see them,” Irene promised, so Jennie allowed her to help her stand up and walk, despite how weak her legs felt. She had to see you.
-
Hogwarts was alive with chatter and whispers, the news of what had happened to the Slytherin chaser spreading like wildfire through the school. Students fell silent, however, as Jennie passed them with her eyes digging holes into the floor, arm in arm with Irene who guided her through the maze of halls. Now everyone knew about the fight and what happened after you fell, and heads turned to stare, half in wonder that Jennie-who was known for being intimidating-had cried and half in pity. She didn’t notice their eyes or their silence, though, her mind a million worlds away.
Irene had managed to get her to calm down and stop crying, but now she was just numb, allowing the other girl to guide her as she forced herself to take step after step even though she just wanted to fall down and give up. She felt a bit like she was dreaming. Or, really, she hoped that she was dreaming. If this was all a dream, she could wake up and you would be fine, and the two of you could talk and she could apologize for saying that her homework and notes were more important than you when they weren’t. She could apologize for all the hurtful things she’d said because she was stressed, and she could tell you how much she loved you, even if she hadn’t shown it recently. And everything would be okay, if only she could wake up.
“We’re here.” Irene’s soft voice ripped Jennie from her mind and she blinked, finally looking up from the floor. Her eyes focused on the hospital wing sign on the door in front of her and her knees felt weak again.
“Ah,” was all she was able to get out, just staring at the sign. Did she really dare to go inside? Would they even allow her to see you? Were you...? Her heart began to hammer in her chest as her body started to shiver once again, freezing despite the summer heat that wafted through the corridors.
“It’s okay, you can go inside,” Irene said, patting Jennie’s back and giving her a smile. “I’ll wait for you out here.”
At some point, Jennie would have to thank Irene for her help. Without her, Jennie knew she would probably still be in the stands, unable to stand on her own. But all she could do now was nod her head, unable to smile or get any words out as she stepped away from Irene’s arm and opened the door.
As soon as Jennie stepped inside, the school matron Soyou looked up and her face softened. “You’re here to see (Y/N), aren’t you?”
Swallowing, Jennie nodded her head again and forced words out. “I-I am. Are they...?”
“They’re alive, thank Merlin. But they haven’t woken up yet. They cracked their skull and broke a number of bones in their fall. Can’t say for sure when they’ll come back around. It’ll take days to finish healing all their injuries, unfortunately.” Soyou shook her head and let out a sigh. “Quidditch truly is such a dangerous game for kids to be playing. Even with magic, there could be long lasting damage!”
“O-oh.”
“I’m sorry, Jennie. I didn’t mean to scare you. We’re doing the best we can for (Y/N) and I’m sure we’ll get them back to normal. We can even regrow bones, you know.” The matron put her hand on Jennie’s shoulder, finally guiding her away from the entrance. “Come now, I’ll show you to (Y/N)’s bed.”
Your bed was located at the end of the wing, and a curtain had been pulled around you for privacy, blocking out the peering eyes of other students. After Soyou left her at the foot of your bed, Jennie had to take a couple of deep breaths before she could pull back the curtain and step to your side.
Even then, she wasn’t prepared to see you. Immediately, tears rushed back to her eyes as she stared at your still body. Your skin was sickly pallid and your head, arms, and torso were all wrapped and bandaged, your face and body still bruised. She had never seen you like this before. You were always so strong and determined, but now you looked fragile, as if you might break if she touched you. Her legs gave out from under her and she fell into the small chair set up beside your bed, burying her face in her hands as she once again began to sob.
“I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry,” she choked out, her throat sore from all the crying she’d already done. As much as she wanted to reach out and hold your hand, she couldn’t bring herself to touch you. She was too scared to hurt you any further, so instead she stayed in her chair, weeping with her forehead pressed to your bed, wishing she could go back in time just this once and tell you that she was sorry, and hoping that you could hear her now.
-
At some point during the night, Irene had come in to check on her, but Jennie had refused to leave your side. After allowing the prefect to bring her a pillow and some water, Soyou had ordered that the two of you be left alone, and so Jennie had fallen asleep beside you, listening to your breathing. Whenever your breaths came too slow or sounded too strained, she would awake in a panic, scared that you would go to a place she couldn’t reach.
Eventually, she fell asleep gently holding your hand, her fear of losing you overcoming her fear of touching you.
Time in the hospital wing seemed to move strangely. People came and went during the morning hours, once again working on healing your wounds and trying to convince her to go eat breakfast. Irene came in shortly after the witches left, with a few pastries on a plate for Jennie to eat.
“You have to eat, but I got you excused from classes today. I’ll be back with lunch, okay?” Irene gave her a hug, and this time, Jennie was able to whisper her thanks before the other girl walked away.
Hours blended together. Jennie’s appetite never came back, even though Irene brought her meals to eat while she waited for you to wake up. Mostly, she slept, her head resting on your bed and her hand over yours. At some point, Irene told her that she would place the notes from classes in her room, but Jennie didn’t care. She didn’t care how many days were going by or how many classes she was missing. All she cared about was you.
All she wanted was for you to wake up.
-
The moon was up when you stirred under her hand, causing her to jolt awake. What day was it now? Blinking her eyes, she focused on your face, holding her breath. Your fingers and face twitched and you breathed in a deep breath before your body lay still again. For a moment, her heart dropped, the hope she’d felt falling away.
Then you opened your eyes, and relief washed over her body, causing her to tear up once again as her eyes met yours.
“W-where am I?” You asked, your voice hoarse and eyes unfocused. She did her best to hold back her tears as she jumped from her seat, one hand still holding yours as her other gently touched your face.
“You’re in the hospital wing,” she replied shakily, “do you remember what happened?”
You squinted up at her, then shivered. “I.... I fell from my broom.”
“You did. But you’re okay now.”
“H-how long have I been here?”
“I’m not sure,” she replied truthfully, swallowing her tears and taking a deep breath, “I think it’s been four days. Yeah, because Irene brought me dinner four times.”
You stared up at her, your eyes widening. “She brought you dinner.... You’ve been here the whole time?”
“I have. I was too scared to leave your side.” Jennie wiped at her face and cleared her throat. “I need to go tell Madam Soyou that you woke up. I’ll be right back, okay? I promise.”
Your voice was soft when you responded. “Okay.”
Soyou’s room was right next to the wing, but Jennie still found herself crying as she walked there. You were awake. Days of nonstop worry were replaced with relief, but a fear still lingered at the back of her head. What if you didn’t forgive her? What if she couldn’t apologize enough? What if you couldn’t play quidditch again? That game was your life, and it was her fault you’d gotten hurt. Her words had caused more damage than she ever thought was possible, and she was scared that she might never be able to mend the damage.
But she loved you too much not to try. She had to prove to you how much she cared. She had to help you as much as she could, to show that you were truly the most important thing in her life. The two of you would have to talk and work things out, but she was willing to apologize with all of her soul and change herself for the better. She was willing to do anything for you.
So she squared her shoulders, wiped her tears away, and knocked on Soyou’s door, ready to go back to your side and keep her promise.

You felt the heat on the back of your neck before you heard the bang. The heat made your skin tingle, and you ducked just as a loud BAM knocked you forward into your table. Behind you, a cauldron bubbled and spit, sending the failed potion spewing onto your robes. The hiss made you wince and jump up, slipping out of the robe before whatever had just exploded onto you could seep through the cloth. A curse lingered on your lips, your nose crinkling into a frown until a low, soft voice stopped you in your tracks.
“I’m so sorry! I must have thrown in the wrong ingredient!” A pretty girl in Gryffindor robes was standing behind the cauldron, her face smudged by her own explosion and her brown hair standing on end. Her lips were turned down in a pout, and you felt your heart skip before you shook your head, looking down at your robes instead. The potion, thankfully, hadn’t left any marks.
“T-that’s okay....” You trailed off, all the curses you’d thought of before disappearing and leaving you speechless. Beside you, your fellow Ravenclaw student Hyewon looked up at you incredulously, like she couldn’t believe you weren’t upset. You’d cursed at other students in potions before, but something about this girl made your heart skip a beat as she whined and wiped at her face, trying to explain herself to her partner, who looked just as shocked as everyone else.
Thankfully, you wouldn’t have to explain yourself to Hyewon, because the professor cleared his throat loudly and stomped over to the offending cauldron.
“Miss Jeon Heejin, do you care explaining how you blew up a potion that is not meant to blow up?”
“I-I must have added the wrong ingredient,” Heejin said, bowing her head and clasping her hands together nervously. Right then, she did not look like a brave Gryffindor. Instead, she resembled a scolded puppy. Your heart went out to her, just as you remembered your classmates talking about her. Heejin, the girl who blew up everything she touched. You’d never been lucky enough to be in a class with her until this year, apparently.
“You have continuously messed up almost every potion we’ve made this year, how have you not learned from your past mistakes yet? Will it take blowing up this whole room for you to learn to pay attention and be careful?”
“I was doing better though! I hadn’t blown up anything yet this year.” Heejin gained some of her confidence back, straightening her shoulders before a well-placed glare from the professor made her slump back down again.
“You’ve gotten almost every potion wrong, not blowing them up isn’t something you should be proud of! How you’ve gotten this far in your wizarding schooling with skills like this, I don’t know, but I’ve half a mind to-.”
“Excuse me.” You butted in, surprising even yourself as you stepped forward. The professor stopped and turned to look at you, his eyebrows raising.
“Yes, (Y/N)?”
“I couldn’t help but overhear your lecture. If she needs help in potions, I would be happy to tutor her. After all, I am the top student in the class.”
Heejin’s eyes went wide, before a slow smile spread over her face. “Really? You’d do that for me?” Her happiness made you feel better about your very sudden decision, and you smiled, nodding your head as you folded your robe over your arm.
“Of course. If that’s okay with you, professor.”
“By all means.” The professor sighed and waved his hand. “Anything to keep her from blowing something up again.” With that, he walked away, and you held out your hand.
“I’m (Y/N), from Ravenclaw.”
“I’m Heejin, from Gryffindor.”
“I know,” you said with a smile, “you’re the one who blows up everything you touch.”
Her cheeks flushed at the nickname and she sighed, trying to run her hands the her now-frayed hair. “It’s not like I do it on purpose. I just can’t get the hang of potions. I’ve never been any good at it.”
“Hopefully we can fix that. Meet me here after dinner. I’ll get permission to use the room after hours and we’ll work from there. Sound like a plan?”
Her smile returned and she nodded. “That sounds great, thank you again!”
“No problem.”
As you returned to your seat, Hyewon wiggled her eyebrows. “Since when do you help the helpless?” She whispered, grinning, and you did your best to ignore her, turning your attention instead to your own perfect potion.
“That’s none of your business.”
-
When you met Heejin that evening, she’d cleaned up and somehow looked even prettier, the petite bridge of her nose visible without the presence of soot on her face. She’d washed her hair, and it now lay in waves down across her shoulders. Her Gryffindor robe was big on her, and you had a feeling that someone had let her borrow theirs, because hers had looked pretty messed up earlier. Still, she was smiling, and your heart skipped a beat as you walked up to her.
God. She was too pretty.
“Ready?” You asked, pulling out the key in your pocket, and she nodded, looking all too excited. It made you a bit nervous.
“I’m ready! How did you get them to give you the key?”
“I’m the best potions student in Hogwarts,” you explained smoothly, bragging a bit as you opened the door and let her inside. “They know I won’t mess anything up.”
“That’s impressive. Potions is really hard.” Heejin sighed as she sat down at the single table left with a cauldron, per your request, pressing her hands against the seat and swinging her legs. “There’s just so many things to remember and they all get jumbled up in my head. Same with all the stirring and the temperature of the fire.... It’s too complicated.”
“It’s a science.” You walked to the ingredients cabinet as you spoke. “Nobody ever gets it right on the first time. That’s why there’s so much damage control for the first years. But once you get it down, it becomes easier and easier. Memorization and confidence are key.” After a short pause to look at the list of ingredients for Confusing Concoction, you grabbed the things you needed and turned to her with a smile. “I’ll teach you how I do it.”
Heejin was a good student, despite her reputation. She watched and listened carefully and took notes with a sparkly red pen as you explained each of the ingredients in detail and what purpose they had in the potion. Although she was obviously nervous as she stood next to the cauldron, your reassurance that you were only handing her the correct things made her more confident, and she did as you told her, putting things in one by one and stirring the cauldron slow.
You were mostly just watching as she put in the last thing, put the movement of her wrist caught your eye. She was stirring faster. To make sure that you weren’t just imagining things, you watched a little longer. Sure enough, Heejin seemed to speed up with each stir, and you smiled to yourself. You’d found the problem.
“Okay,” you said, stepping forward and putting your hand on her wrist. She startled slightly as you moved behind her, and you realized belatedly that this was a pretty intimate position. Clearing your throat, you moved to the side a bit to give her more space, doing your best to focus on the potion instead of on how good she smelt. “I found your problem. You stir really, really fast.”
She blinked, but let you move her wrist slowly around the cauldron in a slight zig-zag pattern. “But all the ingredients are in, does the speed matter anymore?”
“It’s the most important right now. If everything mixes together too quickly, it can cause an explosion. For Confusing Concoction, you want to stir slowly and make the letter z. That’s what makes it thicken to the right consistency.”
“Oh....” She fell quiet until you took your wrist away, your throat dry. Without your hand, she continued to do the right motion, and a smile came to her lips. “That’s not so hard!”
“Nope. Not at all.” Once the potion was at the right consistency, you reached over to stop her wrist and smiled. “You did it. That’s Confusing Concoction, the very same potion you blew up on me in class.”
She blushed, but she was still smiling as she backed away. “Wow. I really did it! It didn’t blow up or turn a strange color or anything!” Her eyes were wide as she peered down at it. “How can you tell it’s ready?”
“Three things.” You pointed at how the potion stuck slightly to the stirring stick. “First, his potion is supposed to have this thick consistency. Almost like molasses or syrup.” Then you pointed to the clock. “Second, I know that it takes a certain amount of time to brew correctly. Third, the color is correct. Even one ingredient wrong would have made the color off. Since it meets all of those criteria, I have to say that you have successfully created Confusing Concoction.”
“You’re so cool,” Heejin breathed, and your heart skipped another beat. “This is great! I can’t believe I really did it! With your help, of course, but I’ve never done this well!”
You laughed, and wondered why you found her sheepish smile so adorable before reminding yourself to be a good tutor. “You’ll do even better by the time I’m done with you. Now come on, I’m going to get a sample of this to show the professor, and then we should clean up and get to bed. Oh, and I’ve got some reading material for you.”
When the two of you parted ways at the door, Heejin left you with a quick hug and a wave, and your heart wouldn’t stop pounding.
-
“How’s tutoring Heejin been? I’ve seen the two of you giggling together in the hallway. It seems like there’s a lot more than tutoring going on.” Hyewon cornered you one day as you parted ways with Heejin outside the Ravenclaw portrait (she’d decided to walk you back to your dorms, and you’d be lying if it didn’t make your heart skip a beat).
“Don’t be silly. I’m trying to make sure that she doesn’t blow us all up one day.” You tried your best to scoff like you would have before you met Heejin, but your heart just wasn’t with it. Plus, your heart was beating like crazy, and you were pretty sure your ears were red. Hyewon just smiled and raised her eyebrows.
“But you like her.”
You swallowed and ducked around her, her heart shuddering in your chest. You couldn’t even try and deny it anymore, but that didn’t mean you were confident enough to say it. Not when Heejin looked like a cute, confused bunny, or when her smile was as radiant as the sun.
“Shut up,” you said, for a lack of anything else to say. Hyewon just snickered and followed you inside.
-
Heejin had slowly wiggled her way into your heart with her cute smile and her soft hair and her scrunched up nose when she concentrated. The tutoring sessions were still tutoring, you still taught her potions and answered any questions she had, but there was more... talking. Getting to know each other. Smiling and laughing.
They’d turned into something you looked forward to at the end of the day, and you wondered if Heejin felt the same way.
One thing was for sure, though. She was improving in potions every day. Soon, she wouldn’t even need your help anymore.
And you weren’t sure what you’d do when that happened.
-
“Whatever you’re doing to help Heejin, it’s working. She’s improving exponentially.” The professor smiled widely at you, and you did your best to smile back. Usually, you’d love hearing teacher’s praise, but this time, you felt a sense of dread.
“Thank you, sir.”
“You know, if she passes this upcoming test, she won’t even need help anymore. We’re going to be brewing Draught of Peace, and if she can successfully brew that, she can brew anything!”
Your heart dropped. It was just as you’d expected. Your days with Heejin were coming to a close. But you smiled anyway, nodding as the professor looked at you. You couldn’t do anything to hurt Heejin’s grades.
“I’ll do my best to make sure she passes.”
-
This time of the year was always a blur, only made worse by your worry over what you’d do once your tutoring sessions ended. Before you new it, it was the day of the big test in potions, and you faltered at the door, not wanting to go inside. Was this what test anxiety was like?
“What’s wrong?” Hyewon asked sleepily, bumping into your back.
“I-I don’t want to go into class today.”
She frowned. “What do you mean? You’ll do fine, you’re the number one student when it comes to potions.”
“That’s not it,” you said, and she finally got it, letting out a little sigh.
“Oh, it’s Heejin.”
“Yeah.”
“Listen, you guys have gotten really close. I don’t think she’ll just drop you after she finally passes something in potions. She doesn’t seem like that type of person.”
“You think so?” You looked at your friend, feeling pathetic for being so scared, and she wrapped an arm around your shoulder.
“I know so. And I’m never wrong. Now let’s get inside before we get points taken away for being late.”
The room was already almost full, only a few straggling students still missing, and you turned to look at Heejin before you could help yourself. She was studying the notes she’d taken with you the day before, her nose scrunched up in concentration, but when you looked up and locked eyes with you, she smiled.
“Good luck,” she said softly as you passed, and you couldn’t help smiling as well.
“Good luck to you too.”
As you reached your seat, you took a deep breath and closed your eyes. You were the best potions student in the school. You had no reason to be nervous. You could do this.
When you opened your eyes again, the ingredient cabinet was open, and you were in the zone. You didn’t think about Heejin, even as much as you wanted to. You focused on your own potion until it was done, then sat back with a sigh and a little smile.
You’d done it.
Then you heard an excited yell behind you, and you turned around to see that Heejin had done it too. Her face was flushed from excitement and she’d smudged something on her face, but she’d finished the potion. And she hadn’t blown anything up.
“Very good, Heejin,” the professor said with a smile. “I’m impressed.”
“Thank you!” She beamed from his praise, almost glowing as she stepped away from her table, and you couldn’t look away. Not even when she turned and locked eyes with you, or when she began to walk around her table.
The next thing you knew, your arms were full of one Jeon Heejin, and she was hugging you tight. She also smelt distinctly of vanilla and flowers, and you wondered for a moment if her lips would be as soft as her face was against yours before she pulled away and you snapped out of it.
“I did it! And it’s all because of you!” She was still smiling, holding onto your shoulders, and her smile was too contagious not to smile back, even if you felt a little sad as you did.
“It was your hard work and willingness to learn that made you succeed. I just helped. I’m proud of you.” At your words, the tips of her ears colored pink with pleasure and she glanced down, uncharacteristically shy.
“Thank you. For everything.”
“Of course.”
It wasn’t until class was ending and everyone was moving towards the doors that you had the courage to tell her. Swallowing, you patted her shoulder and put on a fake smile. “Congratulations again. I was happy to tutor you.”
She smiled, but then it faded a bit as your words sank in. “What do you mean by that?”
“The professor said that, if you passed this test, you wouldn’t need my help anymore. But I had a lot of fun with you, and I’m proud of how far you came.”
“Oh.” Her face fell and you wanted to cheer her up, to hug her, to do something, but one of her friends came to her side, whining about how hard the test had been, and she cleared her throat. “Um, I had fun too. Thank you again. I’ll see you around?”
“Yeah,” you said, giving her a little wave. “See you around.”
You turned to watch her walk away once you were outside the classroom, and Hyewon sighed.
“Why didn’t you say anything?”
“I couldn’t.”
“But you guys obviously like each other. Come on, I could have cut that tension with a knife.”
You turned away, clutching your books tighter. You didn’t know why you hadn’t said anything, but the words just hadn’t come out. All you could do was shake your head at Hyewon and say “I know.”
-
Once the evening rolled around, you found yourself restless. Laying in bed didn’t seem right, but neither did doing homework, and eventually you grew frustrated with distracting yourself and stood up, throwing on your shoes and heading out of the dorms. You no longer had the key, but you figured a walk to the potions classroom might help you feel better.
As you approached, you saw a figure sitting outside the doors, her head leaned back against the wall. Your heart stopped and, for a moment, you stopped too. Could it be? When you started walking again, your heart was pounding in your chest, the beating only getting faster as you got closer and the figure turned to look at you.
It was Heejin. And she was smiling.
“I was hoping you’d come.”
You found yourself smiling as well as you shoved your hands into your pockets and stopped in front of her. “Sorry, I don’t have the key,” you said, even though you knew that wasn’t what she was waiting for. Sure enough, she just laughed before standing to her feet.
“I really like you, (Y/N),” she said bluntly, and your heart did a back flip inside your chest. So this was the brave Gryffindor that had been inside Heejin this whole time. “And I don’t want to stop seeing you. Even if it’s not tutoring, I want to be around you.”
“I like you too,” you admitted, relieved to finally have the feelings off your chest. You felt giddy and nervous, yet it was so right at the same time. “And I don’t want to stop seeing you either.”
“Good.” She stepped closer to you, her eyes sparkling in the candlelit hallway. “Then let’s date.”
“Okay.”
You usually weren’t one to be bossed around. But this time, as you smiled widely and pulled your hands out of your pockets to reach out and grab her hands instead, you found you didn’t mind. You also found that Heejin’s lips were just as soft as her skin when she giggled and leaned in to kiss you, silently sealing the deal with her gentle vanilla-scented touch.

A Little Bit Brighter
Idol: Tzuyu (Twice)
Prompt: Tzuyu x fem!Reader Hogwarts AU: Tzuyu (Ravenclaw) and the reader (Hufflepuff) always get interrupted while spending time together... so they sneak out and meet at night just to watch the stars and... make out lol
Writer: Admin Kiwi
A/N: Anyone else hate the new desktop update? Because I do. It’s all bulky and disproportionate and it’s making my ocd act up. Anyway, I hope this gets fixed so that I don’t have to be stressed the every time I write, and I hope you all enjoy!

It was the view of the stars that really took your breath away. The small room atop the school was nice as well, circular, romantic, and cozy with one door and pillows covering the floor. But the giant window that opened towards the sky was what completed the atmosphere, making you gasp as you tilted your head back to take it all in.
“How did you find this place?”
Behind you, your girlfriend giggled and placed her hand on your back, guiding you further into the room and closing the door behind the two of you. “I have my ways,” she said, her eyes sparkling as she sat down on the pillows and patted the spot beside her. Laughing, you sat down, shaking your head.
“You Ravenclaws. We could get into a lot of trouble for this, you know.”
“Don’t worry, your Hufflepuff teacher’s pet reputation won’t be touched. The prefects don’t know about this place,” Tzuyu assured you, flipping her long black hair over her shoulder. In the pale moonlight, she somehow looked even prettier than usual, dressed in her casual muggle clothes instead of her usual blue and bronze robes. “You know I wouldn’t do anything that would get points taken away from my house.”
“True.” You moved closer to her and smiled when she put her head on your shoulder. It was nearing midnight and you knew that she had to be tired. “It’s really nice up here. I didn’t know we had a place that was this romantic.”
“I’m glad you like it.” She gently took your hand in her own, playing with your fingers and running her soft, ink-stained fingertips over your skin. You watched her draw circles on your palm as you rested your head on top of hers, breathing in the familiar smell of paper and chocolate. After a moment, she stopped drawing and held your hand tight instead. “No one can interrupt us up here.”
You thought back to the last few weeks and smiled softly. The two of you weren’t necessarily keeping the relationship a secret, but your friends and fellow housemates had been continuously interrupting the two of you when you tried to talk, dragging you both away for house activities. Tzuyu had pretended not to be affected by it, just rolling her eyes at her friends’ antics, but the fact that she’d found this place just to cuddle and talk to you revealed just how much she’d missed you. The gesture made your heart swell with affection and you squeezed her hand.
“You’re right. It’s just us up here. Unless the stars are watching.”
“That would be weird.” She giggled and shifted closer to you, her long legs brushing against yours. “They are pretty, though. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the sky this clear before.”
“I’m pretty sure I can make out the constellations.” You pointed with your free hand, drawing your finger across the shapes in the stars. “Look, there’s the big dipper. And Orion. And I think that one’s Cassiopeia.”
“Oh wow, you’re right!”
“Hey, why do you sound so surprised?”
“I didn’t know you paid that much attention in class.”
You huffed and elbowed her playfully, making her giggle again. “Just because I’m not a Ravenclaw bookworm doesn’t mean I can’t pay attention in class. I liked astronomy.”
“I’m just kidding,” she cooed, and you couldn’t help but to smile affectionately as you sat up and looked at her. She was too cute for you to get mad at, and she knew it.
“Did you bring me up here just to tease me?” You asked, raising your eyebrows, and she shrugged, her face blushing slightly as she glanced back at the sky.
“Well, not really.”
“Then what did you bring me up here for?” There was a teasing lilt to your voice as you leaned closer to her once again. She huffed and went to push you off, her cheeks pink, but then stopped and bit her lip.
“To talk.”
“Just to talk?”
“Maybe.”
You laughed. “You have to give me a more concrete answer than that.”
“You’re the worst,” she whined, covering her face with the hand not holding yours for a second before she pulled it away and pouted at you. “Fine, I’ll admit that I wanted a little bit more than to talk.”
“Did you want to kiss me?” You grinned and she couldn’t help smiling back, even though she playfully pushed your face away from hers.
“I don’t anymore!”
Laughing again, you raised your hands in defeat. “Okay, okay, I’ll stop teasing you, because I want to kiss you too.”
She held out her pinky. “Pinky promise?”
“Pinky promise,” you replied, locking your finger with hers. At that, she smiled and leaned in, tucking her hair behind her ear and fluttering her eyelashes in a way that made your heart jump around in your chest and your stomach squeeze with anticipation.
“Then I guess I’ll give you a kiss.”
You closed the gap first, sweetly capturing her lips with your own. She dropped your hand, her arms moving up to slide around your shoulders instead, and you brought a hand up to cup her cheek as the other rested on her hip, pulling her closer as the slow kiss deepened. She pressed herself into you, then whined when you went to pull away, moving to straddle your lap instead and kiss you again, humming when your grip tightened on her hip.
When she finally did pull away to breathe, her cheeks were flushed, and the moon was shining behind her, illuminating her like a halo. The words tumbled out on their own.
“I love you.”
She beamed and pressed her forehead against yours, her fingers running through your hair. “I love you too,” she whispered, before she captured your lips again, making your head spin with the passion flowing from every inch of your body. You couldn’t help but respond, kissing her back with the same fervor as your heart tumbled and jumped in your chest, your body wanting to hold her and never let her go.
When the two of you broke away for air, she giggled and buried her head in your shoulder, and you stared up at the stars, smiling as you caught your breath. The stars glowed a little bit brighter when you were in love.

Prompt: Hello, hello<3 I would like to request a Hogwart AU where the slytherin!fem!reader has this relationship-not-really-a-relationship-some-flirt with.... choose your fighter: Hani (EXID) or Siyeon (Dreamcatcher)
Writer: Admin Kiwi
A/N: I decided to make Siyeon a Slytherin as well in this case since we’ve written her as a Slytherin before, hopefully you didn’t want her as a different house? Also I’m sorry I haven’t been writing much for, well, a lot of reasons, but I hope you al enjoy this story and hopefully I'll be back to my normal posting schedule soon.

“Did you do something new with your hair, (Y/N)? You look even more stunning than usual.” At the sound of your housemate’s familiar voice, you looked up with a smile, watching as she sat down in the seat at the table beside you.
“Awe, Siyeon, you noticed? I got a little trim, do you like it?”
“I love it, but I love everything about you, babe,” Siyeon said dramatically, tossing her hair over her shoulder and sending you a wink. Collectively, your friends around her groaned, making the two of you laugh.
“It’s too early in the morning for this. Can’t your cheesy remarks wait until at least lunch?” Gahyeon remarked, wrinkling her nose in mock disgust.
“Nope, I have to be cheesy and greasy at all times or I will combust on the spot, Gahyeon my dear.”
“You’re so dramatic,” Sua said as she throw a piece of her food at the other girl. Siyueon ducked, avoiding it easily, but still pulled an offended face.
“Don’t throw things just because I’m better at flirting than you!”
“Keep telling yourself that.”
“I don’t have to. (Y/N), aren’t I the best flirt, babe?” Siyeon turned to you with a spark in her eyes and a grin on her lips, and you rolled your eyes, knowing that she just wanted to hear you praise her.
“Yes, yes, Siyeon, you’re the best flirt in the Slytherin house, just like always,” you said to appease her, clapping sarcastically and making Gahyeon laugh, but Siyeon seemed pleased, turning to Sua with a smug smile.
“See? Told you!”
“Your girlfriend’s vote doesn’t count.”
“We aren’t dating,” both of you said at the same time, used to this by now. One of the younger Slytherin guys, new to the group, looked up with his eyebrows raised.
“Wait, really? I thought you guys were a thing!”
“Nope.” Siyeon threw her arms around your shoulders, and you swallowed as she pulled you closer, your face heating up slightly. The two of you always did this, so you should be used to it be now. But you weren’t, and you hoped no one noticed the slight flush as you made a face at her affection. “We’re just flirty friends.”
“That’s not a thing,” Gahyeon pointed out, “please just date and stop confusing people.”
At the thought of dating Siyeon, your stomach twisted in your stomach and your heartbeat picket up, and you slowly pulled away from her, suddenly not feeling hungry. You knew you shouldn’t feel this way, not with Siyeon. But for some reason, you couldn’t help it.
“Please, (Y/N) is out of my league. Don’t insult her.”
You laughed along with everyone else, but it felt hollow. “Oh, so that’s the excuse now? I thought you said last time that you were out of my league.”
“I changed my mind after you beat my potions grade for the third year in a row. I just can’t keep up with you, but that’s why I love you.” She blew a kiss your way, obviously joking, and you wondered if she knew how much it made your heart hurt to catch it.
“Obviously, Siyeon here is delusional,” you said, only half-joking as you stood up. “I needed to stop back by our rooms to grab a book before class so I’m going to get going. I’ll see you all in class.”
“You didn’t eat hardly anything, are you sick?” There was genuine concern in Siyeon’s voice (which was a little weird, she was usually snarky) but Sua snorted, ruining the soft moment.
“Sick of you.”
“Hey! There’s no way she’d be sick of me! I’m her favorite person in the world!” As Siyeon’s voice raised, ready to fight Sua, you rolled your eyes and turned away, sighing as you went to throw out your leftover food. If only Siyeon knew just how true that statement was....
-
“You might as well just tell her, at this point.”
“Jiu, I seriously cant do that. What if she thinks it’s weird? This is all just a game to her, you know? She likes the back and forth, the playful flirting with no strings attached. She wouldn’t want me to fall in love with her for real.” Orange and red were terrible, awful colors, you decided as you laid on Jiu’s bed and stared up at the ceiling. The brightness of it all hurt your eyes, and you were reminded of just how glad you were that the sorting hat decided to put you in Slytherin.
“So you’re just going to mope on my bed forever instead?” Jiu turned around from where she was doing homework, a small smile on her lips and her arms crossed. “Why do you always come here instead of asking me to come to your dorms for once?”
“Because you have more privacy. The moment I admitted my feelings for Siyeon out-loud, someone would be listening and in minutes the entire school would know.”
“I think you’re exaggerating.”
You closed your eyes, to get away from the offending brightness of the room. Why couldn’t your best friend have been sorted into Ravenclaw instead? At least blue and silver were bearable. “I’m not. I never exaggerate.”
“Whatever you say, honey. But I seriously think you should just confess. I think Siyeon likes you more than you think.”
“She’s just like that,” you retorted, “she’s one of the school flirts. It’s not like I’m any different from any other students she flirts with.”
“That’s not true, at all. I’ve known Siyeon just as long as I’ve known you, and I’ve seen the way she treats you. She flirts with you way more than anyone else and she’s always paying attention to you or staring at you. Remember that time you came down with a cold and she stayed in your dorm room for three days nursing you back to health? She wouldn’t do that for you if she didn’t care about you.”
“She cares about me like a friend.”
“No offense, but I’d never stay right beside someone’s bed for three straight days, skipping all my classes and risking getting in trouble just to make sure a friend was okay during a little cold. I’d also never call any of my friends ‘babe’ and I’ve certainly never told my friends that I wanted to kiss them.”
Your face heated up and you opened your eyes, turning to glare weakly at Jiu. “That was after she drank that weird potion Gahyeon made her to make her fever go away! She was basically drunk, drunk people say things they don’t mean all the time.”
“Sometimes being drunk makes you more honest,” Jiu pointed out. “I’m just saying that Siyeon liking you is more likely than you’re acting like it is.”
With a sigh, you shook your head and stood up. “Thanks for trying to encourage me, but I still doubt it.” You gave your best friend a little smile. “I’m going to head back to my dorm now. Have a good night.”
She looked like she wanted to say something, but she just shook her head and smiled instead. “Alright. Goodnight, (Y/N).”
As you walked back to your room, you tried not to let the things she’d said get to you. But you couldn’t help but think: what if? What if Siyeon liked you? What if everything Jiu was saying was true? What if you actually had a chance with her? Shaking your head, you tried to chase the thoughts away, You shouldn’t be fantasizing when Siyeon was, well, Siyeon. It was playful flirting, that was all. You needed to find a way to get over her before things got out of hand.
Before you realized it, you were back at the Slytherin dorms, and you let out a sigh as you stepped inside and headed for your own room. You needed to take a nap and clear your head. So you ingored everyone else in the commons room, focused on just getting into bed when....
“Do you think (Y/N) hates me?” It was Siyeon’s voice, and your hand stalled on the door to your room, body frozen in place. Her voice was coming from Gahyeon’s room beside yours, and you couldn’t help but be curious. Especially because of what you’d just heard.
Swallowing, you made sure no one else was around before standing close to the door, listening carefully as Gahyeon hummed in thought.
“Well, no. You guys are always hanging all over each other so it’s obvious that she doesn’t hate you. Why do you ask that?”
“It’s just that she doesn’t seem to have noticed how I feel. Like, I cling to her and flirt with her and tell her that I love her all the time and she just laughs it off and is so quick to dismiss it. She’s so fast to tell people that we aren’t dating too. It hurts a bit, you know? And it makes me think that maybe she doesn’t like me at all.”
“I feel like that’s jumping to conclusions,” Gahyeon said with a sigh. “You’re being dramatic.”
Siyeon whined. “I’m allowed to be dramatic! I’m in love with (Y/N) and she hasnt realized a thing!” Wait, what? Were you dreaming? Had Jiu cast some sort of spell before you left? What was going on? “I really thought that she’d get it after I told her that I wanted to kiss her that one time, but nope! How? How doesn’t she know?”
Your heart was pounding in your chest and you wanted to both run and burst into the room at the same time, but you stood by the door, rooted to the floor and unable to move from the shock of it all. Inside, Gahyeon laughed.
“Maybe because you’re the biggest flirt in the Slytherin house. I’m sure that has something to do with it.”
“I’ve cut down on the flirting I do, though! I really only flirt with (Y/N) these days.” Siyeon groaned, and you heard robes rustling. You were sure she’d just put her face on Gahyeon’s shoulder. “I regret being such a flirt in my youth.”
“Again, you’re being dramatic. Just tell her straight up, she’ll get it.”
“I doubt it. Because we joke flirt like that all the time, you know? She’d probably just think it was another joke! I’ve set myself up for failure.” She was right. Had you heard her say half these things in any other context, you would have thought she was still just joking with you. But she was talking to Gahyeon about you, without knowing you were there to see. This wasn’t fake. This wasn’t a joke. This was real, and your breath caught in your throat, butterflies going crazy in your stomach as you took everything in. Jiu had been right.
“So you’re just going to let things continue the way they are?”
“I might just give up, honestly. If she doesn’t like me that way, I’m not going to keep pushing her. I get it, she doesn’t like me. I’ll leave her alone.” Those words were what made you finally move from the spot you’d been rooted to, throwing open Gahyeon’s door with a blush on your cheeks and your eyes wide.
“No, you’re wrong!” At the sound of your voice, both of the girls jumped, and Siyeon spun around, her mouth dropping open.
“(Y/N)? W-wait, how long have you been listening?” You had never seen Siyeon’s face so red before, but you also knew that yours was no better as you stood there, mind racing as you tried to think of what to say.
“From the beginning, I think. But please don’t give up on me. I like you too, I was just too dumb to realize that you were actually flirting with me. I thought it was all a joke, and that you didn’t do romance.”
“I didn’t do romance before I met you,” Siyeon said, voice soft and shy, and your heart melted. “You really like me too?”
“I do. I’ve liked you since the moment I met you.” A grin spread across your face, silly and cute and very un-slytherin, and you shuffled awkwardly, not knowing what to say as Siyeon smiled back at you. “Um, so are we dating now? Like, for real?”
“I mean, if you want to.”
“Oh my god you two. Just date and get out of my room!” Gahyeon groaned, shoving you both out by your shoulders, but even as the door slammed behind you, Siyeon laughed and reached out to hold your hand.
“So should we? Date, I mean.”
With a smile, you reached over to kiss her cheek, relishing in the blush that appeared on her face. For once, you were glad about the lack of privacy in the Slytherin dorms. All it had taken was an overheard conversation for you to finally spit out your feelings. And yeah, it was embarrassing, and both of you were definitely going to hear about it later, but right now, you were on top of the world. And nothing was going to bring you down.
“Yeah, I think we should.”

The Scent of Love
Idol: Wendy (Red Velvet)
Prompt: Can I request a fluffy Howgarts AU with ravenclaw Wendy x hufflepuff male reader, where they're in potions class and they're studying amortentia and they kind of smell each other, if that makes sense? And they end up confessing? Thank you ^^
Writer: Admin Kiwi
A/N: The reader in this ended up being gender-neutral, like most of my stories. I’m working hard to get enough requests done to open them back up again! Sorry it’s taken me so long this round. But hopefully they’ll be open by the end of this month, and I hope you all enjoy!
♡ Tip Jar♡
Tumblr media
If there was anything Wendy loved, it was learning and trying new things. It was a part of why she’d been sorted into Ravenclaw, and why she’d been so excited to come to Hogwarts in the first place. There were so many things to learn about in the wizarding world, so many spells to master and so many potions to make, and she wanted to know about all of them.
Today, however, she walked into potions class anxious for the first time since she was a brand-new first-year. Because today, they were going to be trying to brew amortentia.
“I don’t know what you’re so nervous for,” Seulgi whispered from beside her as they walked into class, her eyes wide and excited. “It’s not like we’re going to have to drink it. Plus, aren’t you curious about what you might smell? I’ve been wanting to try this since I learned about it from my books!” Seulgi stopped at her desk, and Wendy glanced over at where she was supposed to be seated, nearer to the front of the class. You were already seated in your seat, chatting with one of your fellow Hufflepuff classmates, and she but her lip, feeling nervous all over again.
“But what if what you smell is embarrassing? Like, what if I smell pizza, since I’ve been craving it recently? Then everyone will think I’m some sort of food maniac!”
“I doubt that’s going to happen. Plus, where’s your Ravenclaw spirit? We’re always happy to learn, no matter the consequences!”
“I think that’s just you, Seulgi.” Wendy let out a sigh, and Seulgi glanced at you, a slow smile spreading over her face.
“Or are you just scared that you’re going to smell (Y/N)?”
Immediately, her face flushed, and she tried to look away. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“It’ll be hard to pretend you don’t have a crush on them then,” Seulgi teased, reaching out to pat Wendy on the shoulder. “Good luck!” She moved to sit down, and with a jolt, Wendy realized that the Potions Master had entered the room, and awkwardly cleared her throat, hurrying to her seat with her head down. Luckily, Professor Taeyeon didn’t seem to care, and as she sat down in her seat, Wendy swallowed and opened her book up to the right page, breathing in a deep breath. She could do this.
“Wendy, are you not feeling well?” Your voice made her jump a bit, and she turned to look at you with raised eyebrows, almost forgetting her nervousness about the day in her confusion.
“What? What do you mean?”
“Well, your face was flushed, and you were late to your seat. You know, if you’re sick, you should go see the nurse.” Your voice was laced with concern, just like the Hufflepuff you were, and Wendy shook her head quickly, hands going up to pat at her face as she tried to think of an excuse. Why did she have to blush so easily?
“Oh, no, one of my friends, Seulgi, she was just, um, teasing me.” She gave you a smile that she hoped wasn’t awkward. She was usually able to keep her cool, even occasionally flirt with you during these classes. But today, just thinking about brewing a love potion beside you made her feel flustered. Maybe she hadn’t been getting enough sleep lately. She probably needed to cut back on the studying. “Thanks for your concern, though.”
Professor Taeyeon cleared her throat, starting the class, but you gave her a smile and a nod of your head in return before turning your attention to the front, making Wendy’s heart skip a beat. After a second of her head being flustered, she quickly came back to, moving to follow the professor’s instructions. Class she could do, taking notes she could do, and studying she could do. She was just going to have to put you out of her head for the rest of this class. There was no way she was going to let her grades slip for this.
-
Never mind. She was willing to let her grades slip for this. Especially when you kept handing her the materials and your fingers kept brushing hers. But as soon as she was about to back out, claiming that she really was sick, actually, and she needed to go lay down right now, Professor Taeyeon walked over to the table and gave her a smile.
“I can always count on the two of you to make your potions right, Wendy, (Y/N).” She smiled as she walked away, and Wendy felt like whining, plan crumbling to pieces. She couldn’t let Professor Taeyeon down, not after that.
“I think we’re almost done, actually,” you said, completely unaware of her internal turmoil as you peered down at your book. “We should only have two ingredients to go.”
Biting her lip, she picked up her notes, both to double-check your claims and to give herself a distraction. It was just a potion. It would be fine. And even if she did smell you, she didn’t have to tell you. She could just write it down and turn it in before you noticed a thing. “It looks like you’re right,” she said, voice a bit squeaky. She quickly cleared her throat, hoping that you hadn’t noticed it. “We should be the first ones finished. This last step is a bit tricky, though, so let’s be careful.”
“As always.” You gave her a smile. “We make a good team.”
“Yep!” Her heart couldn’t handle this, and she knew her face was heating up again, so she quickly reached across to grab the remaining ingredients and looked back down at her notes. “Should we finish, then?” Without waiting for your answer, she quickly put your share of the ingredients down beside your cauldron before busying herself with her own, eyebrows furrowed in concentration. She wasn’t going to mess this up, even if you were very distracting beside her.
A couple flicks of the wrist and double-checks from her notes later, she was done, and she watched as the steam drafted upwards in a unique spiral. For a moment, she was entranced by the beautiful look at it, just staring at her creation with no thoughts of what it might smell like. Then, she heard one of the girls behind her whisper, confused, that her potion smelled like grass, and she remembered.
Her stomach twisted and she glanced over at you. You were still finishing your potion, face revealing nothing, and she sighed, knowing that she had to smell it. After calming her nerves through the breathing exercises Irene had taught her, she leaned forward, closed her eyes, and breathed in.
At first, she didn’t recognize anything distinct. Then, she caught the smell of the library: parchment, ink, and wax from the late-night candles. The smell made her smile. She did love the library. Next, she smelt... bread? Or some kind of baked food. Her cheeks colored at the thought that her original excuse to Seulgi might have come true. But it made sense, she did like to bake, and she loved the taste of breads and cakes. Then, breathing in once again, it hit her. Plants. But not just any plants. It was the smell of cactus and ferns that she recognized right away. Your robes always smelt like them during class, because you when you were tired in the morning, you brushed against the plants on the way out of the dormitories. This time, her cheeks flushed red. Unless her brain was secretly crushing on another Hufflepuff, she was smelling you.
Pulling away, she tried to gather herself, rubbing her hands across her face. This was fine. She’d been sure this would happen anyway. It was fine.
“Did you smell anything?” You asked, once again making her jump in her seat. Why was she so jumpy today?
“Oh! Um, yeah, sorry I was thinking.” She shot you a smile as she reached for her paper, ready to write down her findings. “Have you smelled yours yet?”
You seemed to be searching for something on her face before you smiled and shook your head. “No, I only just finished mine. I’m about to do that now.” You turned away, and despite how much she wanted to focus on her writing, she couldn’t.
She watched as you leaned in, closing your eyes just like she did. Had you been watching her? You breathed in, and after a moment, your eyes fluttered open and you looked down into the pot.
“I wonder what would happen if I drank it?” You said, softly, mostly to yourself, but it knocked Wendy out of whatever stupor she’d been in, and she laughed, surprising even herself.
“I don’t think you should do that,” she replied with a giggle, shaking her head. “Professor Taeyeon would get mad at you.”
You smiled as you pulled away, and she may have been imagining things, or it could have been from the steam, but your cheeks seemed flushed. “I was just wondering who I’d end up attracted to. Or obsessed with, I mean.”
“Didn’t she say it was the object of our affections who we’d become infatuated with?” Distracted by the technicalities, as always, Wendy looked at her notebook, missing the way your eyes darted to her.
“Oh. I guess she did.”
“Yeah. Whoever we desire most. I think the potion can also be brewed with a certain person in mind to make whoever drinks it become infatuated with that person, but I think it’s usually whoever we feel affection for.” She grinned at you as she looked up, not noticing the words slipping from her lips until they were gone. “What did you smell?” It was a harmless question, but as soon as it left her lips, she began to feel flustered again.
“Well, I smelled this candle that used to burn at my house when I was a kid. And there was the smell of the gardens.” Once again, your cheeks seemed to flush. “And the smell of a perfume that I know really well.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah. What did you smell?”
It was only then that she realized that she hadn’t told you when you’d asked. “I smelled the library, like paper and ink?”
“Typical,” you said with a little laugh, and she huffed at you before continuing.
“I also smelled baked goods, so like bread or cake. I couldn’t really pinpoint what it was. And then there was the smell of, um, ferns and cactus and stuff.”
At the mention of the plants in your dorms, you raised your eyebrows. “I didn’t know you were into plants.”
“I didn’t know either, but apparently I am.” She looked away quickly, hiding her face with her hair, and for a moment, the two of you sat quietly, listening to the rest of the students chat. And then, you cleared your throat.
“You know, um. The perfume I smelled. It was a mixture of roses, jasmine, and I think sandalwood.”
Her heart jumped in her chest. She wore a perfume with all of those ingredients. And you would know her perfume well from sitting beside her all the time. Deciding to be brave, she folded her hands and stared into the cauldron. “The ferns and cacti that I smelled. I’ve smelt it before on someone’s robes. I see them a lot.” Once again, the two of you sat in silence, before you let out a little laugh.
“Does... Does this mean we were smelling each other?”
Finally, she dared to look up at you again. You were smiling, a flush on your cheeks as you ran your fingers through your hair, a nervous habit, and she found herself smiling in return.
“I think it does. I mean, I immediately thought of you.”
“I immediately thought of you too.”
With all of the flirting she’d done in the past, Wendy didn’t think that she’d be so awkward when it actually came down to confessing and asking you out. But apparently she was awkward, because there she was, shyly shifting around on her seat as the two of you exchanged brief, giddy eye contact before looking back at the cauldrons. Summoning her inner Gryffindor (although she’d never tell Seulgi) she tucked her hair behind her ears and squared her shoulders, turning to you with determination.
“Would you like to go out with me then?” She wasn’t near as sure of herself inside as she was sure she was portraying, and she knew her face was still red to the tips of her ears, but you grinned the way you always did when you were excited, so it seemed to be a success.
“I would like that, yes. I was hoping you’d ask.”
“You could have asked me, you know.”
“I know. I was going to, if you didn’t. But then you did.” You laughed, and her heart squeezed. Why were you so cute? “And I’m glad you did because I was so nervous about today.”
“I was nervous too,” she admitted, “I almost even pretended to be sick to get out of it. But I’m glad I didn’t.”
You gently reached out to link your fingers together with hers, biting your lip. “So this means we’re dating?”
“Yeah.” A grin that she couldn’t control stretched across her face as she looked down at where her hand held yours. Class was almost over now, and you glanced up at where Taeyeon was setting up a stack of papers before tightening your grip on Wendy’s hand just a bit.
“Then can we eat lunch together? And study together? And just hang out and talk? And can I meet you after classes end?” Your kind eyes were bright, and she couldn’t help but giggle, bumping her shoulder against yours. Inside, her heart was pounding with excitement, and she could hardly believe this was happening. Maybe amortentia wasn’t such a bad thing after all (as long as it wasn’t taken, of course).
“I’d love to do all of that with you, (Y/N).”
“Then I’ll see you for lunch.” It was a promise. A promise for today. And a promise that she was sure you’d keep for a long time in the future. So she smiled, winked, and leaned over to link her pinky finger with yours, sealing the deal.
“I can’t wait.”

No label can ruin my love
Idol: JiU/Minji (Dreamcatcher)
Prompt: Could I please request a dreamcatcher Jiu hogwarts au scenario where she's dating a slytherin reader and some of her members don't trust the reader due to her being a slytherin. Angst and fluff please!
Writer: Admin Bee
Authors note: Enjoy~
Tumblr media
The first time I saw Minji, I couldn´t believe my eyes. It´s not because she was beautiful beyond comprehension or anything cheesy like that, I didn´t get to see her face before I saw her actions.
I was closest to the cage of monsters when a clumsy Hufflepuff accidently pushed the cage onto the floor, making the small winged monsters attack anything they could due to their poor eyesight. I screamed and tried to push them away with whatever book or spell I could. That´s when Minji Kim rushed in and threw herself before me killing half a dozen of them with one spell. She took me in her arms, faces only centimetres apart. My mind was in gay panic.
No one helps Slytherins. The other houses spit at us both literally and figuratively. I didn´t know that cunning to some people meant evil and untrustworthy until I came here. That´s why I was so surprised to see a Ravenclaw saving me half a year ago. Such a pretty one at that.
Now, we´re closer than I´ve ever been to anyone. I tell her everything. At times, I feel like she knows me better than I know myself.
“Do you like girls?”, Minji asked me as I wrote down yet another spell I don´t care about. The hours seemed like weeks in this library.
“I mean- I mean yes, I like girls”, I say awkwardly not knowing why she asked that so suddenly.
“That was a subtle way of asking if I have a chance with you”, she says. Dragging out the syllables in a low and serious tone sending shivers down my spine. A layer of cold sweat coated the back of my neck as I thought about our future together. She doesn´t only have a chance with me, she has me at her feet begging.
“What would you do if you did have a chance with me, Kim Minji?”, I say trying to mimic her hot voice.
“Take it!”, Minji says and starts tickling me.
“Then do!”, I laugh with my body bent over.
“What´s happenin´ here?”, Siyeon says. Her words stumbling over each other and loosing a couple of syllables as she speaks. Minji looks up at her with too big eyes for being caught doing something as innocent as tickling.
“Just date already”, Yoohyeon chimes in from behind Siyeon. Me and Minji share a knowing look and break out in laughter.
“No no no, it was a joke. You can´t date a Slytherin, Minji, you know how Slytherins are!”, the light happy feeling were replaced with the cold hard truth. I´m a Slytherin.
“What if I love her? What if she isn´t like the judgemental stereotypes, Yoohyeon?”, Minji says making Yoohyeon ask her to “chill out” and leave.
“I love you”, Minji says, “no label can ruin that.”

Have a Little Courage
Idol: Mina (Twice)
Prompt: Woooow, I've been waiting for this moment for like centuries, I'm so happy. Can I ask you a Twice's Mina scenario set in the world of Harry Potter? Mina is in love with the Slytherin reader (female) but is afraid to declare her love because she is a Gryffindor. Something fluff, thank you very much
Writer: Admin Kiwi
A/N: It’s really been so long since I watched the original movies or read the books, and Fantastic Beasts didn’t really have anything about Hogwarts in it, so if the classroom seems a bit off, I’m sorry. Ignore the weird thing Tumblr is doing with the apostrophes, hopefully it goes away soon. Also, I’ve been writing a lot of Mina lately. I think we had more requests for her than usual. And this is pretty long. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this story!
Warnings: A curse word or two
Tumblr media
Mina glanced over at the Slytherin table, eyes straying over the occupants for the third time since she’d sat down to eat breakfast. Her fellow Gryffindor friends were talking about something, apparently something exciting because Dahyun was waving her hands animatedly beside her, but she wasn’t paying attention. Her attention was instead focused on a certain person at the Slytherin table.
She watched as you laughed at something the person beside you said, and something twinged deep in her heart. She didn’t exactly feel hungry any more, especially when you leaned into the person and rested your head on their shoulder. She swallowed thickly and looked down at her plate.
“Mina, are you even listening?” Dahyun’s voice broke through her thoughts and she looked up, eyebrows raised.
“What?”
“I knew it.” Dahyun huffed and crossed her arms. “You never listen. What are you spacing out about that’s so important?”
“She’s always staring over at the Slytherin table,” Momo pointed out, wiggling her eyebrows. “Did you not hear about her crush?” The sick feeling in Mina’s stomach got worse, and she wrinkled her nose.
“Shut up, Momo.” She’d always known it had been a mistake to let Momo know about her crush. Her best friend had pried it out of her, but Mina knew it was only a matter of time before Momo spilled to Sana, and then everyone in the school would know.
“I didn’t know you had a crush, Mina. That’s exciting!” Then Dahyun seemed to connect the dots. “Wait. You have a crush on a Slytherin?”
“Keep your voice down!” Mina shushed her, giving her a little glare and glancing around at the rest of the table. Thankfully, no one else seemed to be paying them any attention. Dahyun leaned in closer, an incredulous look on her face.
“You’re kidding me, right? On a Slytherin?”
“She’s not kidding,” Momo said, then grunted when Mina elbowed her in the stomach.
“Shut up, guys. I’m going to leave if you guys keep picking on me.”
“But a Slytherin?” Dahyun repeated. Mina rolled her eyes.
“Not all Slytherins are bad, Dahyun. Nayeon, for example. Or your friend Tzuyu.”
“You guys only think Nayeon is nice because she has a giant crush on Momo. Trust me, Tzuyu can be evil when she wants to be. Jihyo can confirm.” Momo’s face bloomed red at Dahyun’s words, and Mina just sighed.
“You’re too prejudiced. There are Slytherins who don’t fit the stereotype, just like I don’t fit the Gryffindor stereotype.” Momo seemed to have recovered from Dahyun’s jab at her relationship, because she snickered.
“Yeah, you can’t even get any courage to ask someone out.” Mina elbowed her again, hard, and grabbed her plate as she stood up.
“Forget this. I’m done being picked on. I hope potions is especially hard for you today, Dahyun, because I’m not helping you any with your homework.” Dahyun’s head swivelled and her eyes widened.
“Wait, Mina, you know I didn’t mean it!” Mina ignored her call, quickly walking away from the table. She was annoyed, mostly with her friends but somewhat with herself too. As she left the hall, she shoved her hands into the pockets of her robes, sighing at herself.
Momo had been right. She didn’t have any of the courage that Gryffindors seemed to have. All her housemates had no problems confessing to the people they liked. Momo had always been vocal about liking Nayeon, and Dahyun had walked right up to Sana the first time Mina introduced them and hit on her. It was only Mina who was afraid.
Really, she didn’t need to worry too much about the whole Slytherin rivalry thing. Sure, there was still something there, and Momo and Nayeon had faced some opposition at first, but usually people would move on to bigger and better gossip after a few days and forget to care about people dating between houses.
Even though she didn’t need to be, she was nervous. Nervous of rejection, mostly. From both you and her housemates. Momo would stand by her side, she knew, and so would Dahyun, but she feared not everyone would be so understanding. Maybe they had only accepted Momo’s relationship because she was popular, with good standing and a infectious smile that left Mina a few steps in her shadow.
Her shoulders felt heaver as she thought more, and she bit her lip, fighting back tears. She really didn’t belong in Gryffindor at all. She should have been sorted into Hufflepuff, like Sana. But even then, her crush would still be looked down on. There was no way around it, because she certainly didn’t belong in Slytherin either.
So with heavy shoulders, and an even heavier heart, she headed to her charms class.
Apparently, her gloominess was obvious, because as soon as she sat down in her seat, Nayeon turned around in the chair in front of her and put her elbows on Mina’s desk.
“What’s up, sunshine? You look dead.” Mina looked up to see Nayeon squinting at her, and then glanced over to the other side of the class, where you sat with your partner.
“Nothing. I’m just not feeling well.” Nayeon didn’t seem to be buying it.
“You know, I’ve seen you when you were throwing up, and you just looked sick. Right now, you look like you just lost your best friend, or found out someone killed your owl.” Mina made a face.
“You have a weird train of thought.”
“Whatever. My point is, you’re obviously sad. So come on, tell Nayeon what’s up.” Mina chewed on her lip, debating whether or not to tell Nayeon what was going on inside her head. Sure, she trusted Nayeon. A bit, at least. Nayeon had always been great to Momo, and she’d never done anything to upset Mina either. But at the same time, Nayeon was in the same house as you, and anything could easily go wrong.
“I don’t know if I should-.”
“Is this about your crush?” Mina’s brain went blank for a minute. And then she slammed her head into the desk. “Oh my god, Mina?” Nayeon’s voice rang in her ears, and she felt Nayeon’s hands touching her face. “What the heck, Mina, you’re going to hurt yourself. Oh my god, people are looking over here like I did something to you, stop that before I get attacked by your housemates.” Groaning, Mina sat back up.
“Did Momo tell you about it?” Nayeon was looking at her with a weird look on her face, and was definitely judging her.
“A little bit, yeah. Was that enough for you maybe to give yourself a concussion?” Mina did feel a little dizzy.
“What did she tell you?”
“Just that you had a crush, damn.”
“Nothing else?”
“Nothing else. She’s not that bad of a friend, give her some credit.” Mina’s shoulders slumped in relief.
“Oh thank goodness.”
“Now are you going to tell me what this is all about?” Mina sighed and rubbed her forehead, then was struck by how much sighing she had been doing today.
“Promise not to tell anyone?” She was probably crazy, doing this. But she’d done worse before. Nayeon leaned forward, nodding her head.
“I promise.” She looked way too interested for Mina to feel comfortable, but she continued anyway. There was no going back now.
“Well. I may have a little crush on one of your housemates.” Nayeon’s eyebrows jumped up higher than Mina had ever seen them go, and her mouth dropped open a bit.
“For real?” She whispered, eyes darting around. “Are they in this class?” Mina hesitated, then nodded.
“Yeah. They are.” Nayeon’s eyes twinkled.
“Who is it?” Then, something seemed to go off inside her head. “Wait, is it (Y/N)?” Mina sat back a bit.
“How did you know?” A smile was spreading across Nayeon’s features, and Mina didn’t like it.
“A few things make sense now. You stare at them a lot, you know?” Mina flushed automatically, bringing her hands up to cover her face.
“Shut up,” she grumbled, but Nayeon’s grin just grew.
“Listen. You should just talk to them. I promise nothing will go wrong.” Mina peeked out at the other girl.
“What do you mean?”
“Just talk to them. Maybe even ask them out. I’m telling you, you wont regret it.” Mina narrowed her eyes and brought down her hands, but just as she was about to speak, the professor entered the classroom. As Nayeon went to turn back around, she gave Mina a wink and mouthed “just do it”. The problem was, Mina wasn’t sure she could.
When class had ended, Nayeon had caught up to Mina at the door and grabbed her hand, giving it a quick squeeze.
“Listen to me, Mina. I have an idea.”
“I’m not sure I want to know,” Mina replied, her heart in her throat as people passed all around them, headed to their classes. Nayeon rolled her eyes.
“Trust me, you’ll thank me later. Anyway, my idea. We have some tests coming up, right? Momo already agreed that we should all study together in the library. I’ll casually invite (Y/N) to join us, and then officially introduce you guys and let you get to know each other. If you feel like you really want to get to know them more after studying with them, then you can ask them to hang out with you again sometime. It’s as simple as that.” Then, Nayeon winked. “Or, you can ask them out, right there on the spot.”
“You know I couldn’t do that,” Mina retorted, giving Nayeon a look. Nayeon huffed and crossed her arms.
“What kind of Gryffindor are you, even.”
“A bad one.” Mina checked the time and swallowed. “We both have to get to class, Nayeon.”
“Fine,” the other girl said, flipping her hair. “But you’re coming with me and Momo to the library tonight, and you’re going to talk to (Y/N) and break out of your pathetic little shell.”
“Thanks, Nayeon,” Mina said, sarcasm dripping from her voice, but she knew Nayeon didn’t really mean any harm. Nayeon sent her another wink, before turning around and disappearing into the crowds of students. Mina swallowed and watched her go for a minute before turning around and heading the other way. Could she really do this?
Apparently, she was going to have to, because Momo gave her no choice.
“We’re doing this for you, Mina,” she said as she tugged Mina out of her comfortable bed. “That, and for our grades. But mostly for you. I’m tired of watching you pine.” Mina gave in and stood up, stumbling over to put on her robes and grab her books.
“I don’t know why you guys are so into my romantic life,” Mina said, letting Momo pull her out of the dorms and towards the library. Momo shrugged.
“You make it hard not to be. You’re so cute and smitten, it’s makes everyone want to help.”
“By everyone you mean you and Nayeon,” Mina pointed out.
“Little details,” Momo responded.
The library wasn’t as busy as Mina had expected it to be, with all the upcoming tests, but Momo still steered her towards a small corner in the back of the library that she hadn’t even known existed. It was dark, but comfy, with pillows and a small table nestled into the tight space. Mina gave her best friend a look.
“How do you know about this place?”
“Would you believe me if I said that it was actually Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon who showed me this spoke first?” Actually, she would. For Revenclaws, the two were pretty good at getting into places they shouldn’t be.
“It’s not going to distract me from the fact that I don’t want to know what you and Nayeon have been up to back here.”
“Well, I’m not spilling,” Momo said with a grin, plopping herself down onto one of the many pillows. “Sit down, make yourself comfortable.”
Nayeon arrive only a few minutes later, with you right behind her. Mina’s heart jumped when she saw you, but smiled when she noticed that you looked just as suspicious as she had.
“Did you just bring me to your make-out spot, Nayeon?” Nayeon shrugged and sat down beside Momo.
“Maybe. But we’re going to do some homework here now, so it’s okay. I wont kiss anyone while you’re here.” Momo giggled and wrapped her arms around her girlfriend, and you locked eyes with Mina. The only open spot was beside her, and she realized what Momo and Nayeon had been planning. Still, she gave you a small smile and scooted over.
“You can go ahead and sit here,” she said, “I don’t bite.”
“Unless you ask,” Momo said, wiggling her eyebrows. Mina kicked her under the table, her face heating up.
“Don’t be gross,” she hissed, but you laughed as you put your books on the table.
“I don’t think I’ve talked to you at all since second year,” you said, smiling at Mina. “My name is (Y/N), by the way.” Like Mina totally didn’t know.
“I’m Mina,” she said with a smile.
“I know,” you said, then blushed and looked down at the table. “I mean. I remembered your name.” Mina felt hope bubbling up in her chest, and couldn’t hold back the little giggle that escaped her lips. Nayeon looked between them, enjoying the scene a little two much.
“You’re both so adorably awkward,” she commented, cooing a bit. You shot her a look and Mina fiddled with her books, trying not to feel too nervous.
“How are we supposed to study back here,” you said, changing the subject. The blush was still evident on your cheeks, though, and Mina thought it looked cute. “It’s so dark.” Immediately, Momo pulled out her wand. The space was bathed in light as she muttered a spell, and then she smiled.
“Enough light for you?” You huffed and didn’t bother to answer, instead opening up your book. Mina smiled a bit and opened up her own as well, while Momo and Nayeon shared a look before untangling their limbs to grab their own things.
“Well, I guess we’ll get started.”
Studying with you right beside her, Mina realized, was distracting. When you asked her about a problem and she leaned over to explain it, you leaned in even closer, forgoing the concept of personal space. Your shoulder and hands brushed against her and she felt jittery at all the contact. Still, the hope that she’d had was only growing, because when she looked up, she’d sometimes catch you looking at her. You’d quickly look away, of course, but it made her heart do jumping jacks inside her chest.
When it came time to leave, Mina didn’t want to. She mourned the feeling of your shoulder against hers as they all stood up, gathering their things.
“Well, that was surprisingly productive,” Momo commented. “We actually got a lot of shit done.”
“I honestly thought we’d talk more than study,” Nayeon commented. “But I guess this is best for our grades.”
The four of you walked out, past a few other groups packing up. Once all of you stepped outside of the library, Momo stopped and turned around.
“Should we do this again?” Nayeon nodded, but it was you that answered.
“For sure. I mean, if you guys are down with it.”
“I’m up for doing it again,” Mina said, smiling at you. You smiled back, and her heart jumped again.
Nayeon turned to leave, and you glanced at her before glancing back at Mina, like you were waiting for her to say something. Mina swallowed, and wished to the courage of the great Gryffindors before her for help.
“Um, actually. I-.” A hundred things ran through her mind to say, but only one made it through. “I like you.” Nayeon’s mouth dropped open, and Momo grinned, proud. Your face immediately bloomed bright red.
“Really?”
“Yep. I guess I’ve probably liked you since second year.” You bit your lip and glanced at Nayeon before looking back at Mina and smiling a bit.
“Would it be weird if I said I’d liked you since then too?” Mina internally screamed, but externally, she giggled.
“Not at all. I’m glad to hear it.”
“Not to break up this cute moment, but we’re getting really close to curfew and I don’t feel like being caught again,” Nayeon butted in. All of you laughed, and then Mina turned back to look at you, a hopeful smile on her face.
“Will I see you tomorrow?” You gave her a blinding smile.
“Of course. I can’t wait.” And the giddiness in your voice told Mina it was true.

Whoever You Love
Idol: Chaeyoung (Twice)
Prompt: Hello i love your blog and I want to know if I can request something with twice's chaeyoung x female reader when the r is from slytherin and chaeyoung is from griffindor and she's in love with the reader? Sorry for my bad english xD
Writer: Admin Kiwi
A/N: I started this, then didn’t like my original idea and deleted it all. Finally, I have a story that I like. I hope all of you will like it too. Sorry for taking so long with this. Also, I did this instead of studying for my midterms or sleeping to be ready for work in the morning. Someone stop me.
Warnings: There’s one sexy pun by Jeongyeon and maybe a curse word or two.
Tumblr media
“What do you mean, you’ve never been to the muggle world,” Chaeyoung said, leaning in close to you and squinting her eyes. Giving a quick look to the students around you, you put your finger to your lips and shushed her.
“Keep it down, we’re in class!” None of the other students had seemed to notice. They were all too busy watching Jeongyeon and Nayeon argue over who’d messed up the faulty potion and caused it to blow. Jeongyeon’s hair was standing on end, and Chaeyoung made a mental note not to wall back with her after class before returning to the problem at hand.
“Nobody’s looking at us. So come on. Tell me how you somehow haven’t gone to the muggle world yet.” You huffed and looked down at the desk. The two of you had long ago finished the potion. When Chaeyoung had commented that it looked like a milkshake at McDonald’s, you’d let it slip that you didn’t know what that was. Chaeyoung had almost fallen off her chair in shock.
“I don’t know. I’m a pureblood, why would I need to go to the muggle world?”
“Because there’s so many cool things to do in the muggle world. I’ll bet you’ve never even been bowling. Or ice skating.” You crossed your arms across your chest.
“I’ve ice skated before….”
“Here, right?” Slowly, you nodded. Chaeyoung grinned.
“That settles it. This weekend, we’re going to the muggle world.” You looked at her, eyebrows raised, skeptical.
“Is that even allowed?” Chaeyoung nodded.
“Of course it is. We don’t have anything to do this weekend, and we’re old enough to leave without chaperone.” She smugly leaned back in her chair, wiggling her eyebrows at you. “Are you ready?” You signed, and put you head on the desk, looking up at her.
“Not really. But I don’t have a choice, do I?”
“Nope,” she said. “Be ready by 10.” You groaned and buried your head in your arms as Nayeon let out a shrill scream. Jeongyeon had dumped the remaining potion on her.
That night, in the Gryffindor dorms, Chaeyoung buried her face in her pillow and screamed. Standing at her door with a Band-Aid on her face was Jeongyeon, who looked thoroughly uninterested and overly exhausted. Behind her, Dahyun peered over her shoulder.
“Come on, Chaeyoung. It’s too late for this bullshit. I’m in pain and I want to sleep,” Jeongyeon said, yawning as if to prove her point. Dahyun snorted and pushed past her into the room.
“Maybe if you stopped egging Nayeon on to punch you, you wouldn’t be in pain all the time,” she said, walking up to Chaeyoung’s bed and sitting on the end. Jeongyeon shrugged her shoulders.
“She’s cute when she’s angry,” Jeongyeon said. Dahyun rolled her eyes and put her hand on Chaeyoung’s shoulder.
“What’s wrong, Chaeyoung?” Chaeyoung rolled over enough to look at Dahyun and whimpered.
“I invited (Y/N) to go to the muggle world with me tomorrow.” Dahyun’s eyebrows flew up.
“You finally got the guts to ask her out?” Whining, Chaeyoung buried her head again in the pillow.
“It just came up,” she said, voice muffled by the pillow. “I asked her before I realized what I was doing.” Jeongyeon laughed from her spot near the door, then winced and pressed her hand to her side. Dahyun pulled at Chaeyoung’s shoulders, trying to get her to roll over again.
“So what’s the big deal? Shouldn’t you be excited about this?” Dahyun asked, finally getting Chaeyoung to roll over. One of the younger Gryffindors walked past the door and gave them a weird look, so Jeongyeon stepped inside the door and closed it.
“I don’t know what I should wear, Dahyun. I need help.” Jeongyeon facepalmed, careful not to hit her wound. Dahyun laughed.
“Is that all? We can pick out an outfit in no time,” she said, giving Chaeyoung a thumbs up. Jeongyeon wrinkled her nose and shot Chaeyoung a look.
“I’d love to help, but are you sure we’re the best people? Shouldn’t we get someone who knows more about fashion, like Nayeon or Mina? Or even Tzuyu.” Chaeyoung sat up straight, waving her hands and shaking her head frantically.
“No, nobody other than you guys can know about this. I don’t want word getting around the school. What kind of loser would I look like then?” Dahyun raised her eyebrows.
“You’re not a loser for liking someone. Come on, Chaeyoung.” Chaeyoung shook her head.
“No. My pride as a Gryffindor is on the line. I’m just going to ask you guys.” Jeongyeon shrugged her shoulders and walked to Chaeyoung’s closet, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked over the mass of clothes inside.
“Leave it to us, then. I guess.” She turned to look back at Dahyun. “Is it supposed to be cold tomorrow?” Dahyun got up from the bed and walked to stand beside the older girl.
“I don’t know. Maybe. It was cold today, wasn’t it?”
“I don’t know, I didn’t go outside today. Nayeon hexed me, remember?” Dahyun snorted.
“Oh yeah. That was hilarious.” Their banter continued, and Chaeyoung closed her eyes and let out a slow sigh. She was totally doomed.
The next day drifted around, and thankfully, Chaeyoung had checked the weather. It was raining. She peaked out from under the umbrella that she’d brought with her and dipped her chin further into her scarf, wondering how long it would last.
“Do you not like the rain?” Her head jerked and she looked over at you.
“Well, I don’t hate it. I just don’t like walking around in it all that much.” You laughed from your position beside her and tucked closer to her, under the umbrella.
“So where’s this café you were telling me about, so we can stop walking around in it and my toes don’t freeze up?” Chaeyoung pointed across the road to the Starbucks standing tall in front of them.
“If this walk signal ever changes, we’ll get to it in minutes.” As if on cue, the signal changed, flashing a little walking man. Quickly, you moved closer to Chaeyoung as the two of you shuffled across the road, bumping shoulders with other people.
“It’s so crowded here,” you said, keeping your voice low so that only Chaeyoung could hear you. She nodded and pulled you towards the door, grinning widely.
“That’s what makes it fun,” she replied, and you scoffed, but let her open the door for you. You stepped out from under the umbrella and into the warm smell of coffee while Chaeyoung shook out the umbrella before following.
“So this is Starbucks, huh? I thought it would be bigger, somehow.” Chaeyoung laughed and nudged you towards the counter as you stared at the menu, squinting your eyes to see all the tiny lettering.
“There are some really huge ones in capitals. One time I saw a three story one. It was pretty intense.” She looked up at the menu. “Do you know what kind of coffee you like?” You shook your head slowly.
“What do you usually get?” You asked her, stuffing your hands into your pockets.
“Well, I’d say getting a White Chocolate Mocha is a pretty same bet. Or a Caramel Macchiato. Do you like chocolate or caramel better?” You shrugged your shoulders.
“Order whatever you think is best.” The two of you were next in line, so Chaeyoung didn’t argue with you, instead leaning in to order two hot White Chocolate Mochas and pulling out some cash to pay. Then she pulled you over to a table near the counter and told you to sit down.
“They’ll call my name when they’re ready. No need to stand around any more than we have to,” she told you. As you sat down, you looked around, taking in everything in the room. Smiling, she watched you, resting her chin on her palm. When your eyes met hers, you immediately broke away and looked down at the table, a small blush beginning to creep up your cheeks.
“What’s with the staring, you see me pretty much every day.” Chaeyoung just smiled a bit wider.
“You look cute today.” Immediately, your face got more red. Chaeyoung’s heart was pounding behind her ribs, but she tried to swallow down her nervousness. Just as you opened your mouth to respond, the barista behind the counter called out Chaeyoung’s name. Both of you jumped, then sent sheepish looks to each other before Chaeyoung got up to get the drinks. She gently sat yours down in front of you, then sat in her own seat and took a sip of her own, looking out the window, the burst of confidence she’d had moments ago simmered out.
“You look cute too.” She almost choked on the hot liquid, but managed to swallow it and hold back the cough tickling her throat.
“Oh. Uh, thank you.” You nodded and took a sip of your own drink, cheeks still red. It wasn’t from the chill outside.
“Um, let’s just stay here for a while,” you said softly, staring down at the table. Chaeyoung wrapped her hands around the warm cup and looked at you. “I like being here. With you. It’s warm.” A smile moved across her lips and she looked down at the coffee cup in her hands.
“Me too.” She put one hand down on the table, and slowly, you put down your hand as well, so that your fingers were touching hers. You smiled. She smiled. And you both sipped your drinks, warm cheeks smiling at the world.
“A Gryffindor and a Slytherin, huh? Who would’ve thought,” Nayeon said, squinting at Chaeyoung, her arms crossed and her eyebrows drawn. Chaeyoung opened her mouth to reply, but Jeongyeon stepped in before she could, imitating Nayeon’s stance and glaring back at her.
“You gotta problem with that? It’s 2017, who cares if a Slytherin and a Gryffindor date?” Nayeon gave her a once over.
“I wasn’t talking to you, Jeongyeon. Why would you care?” Jeongyeon took a deep breath, put her hands on her hips, and grinned.
“Because I want to slither in, Nayeon.” Chaeyoung winced as Nayeon landed a solid punch to Jeongyeon’s side, making the other girl laugh and groan at the same time. You looked between the two, worry evident on your face, but Chaeyoung wrapped her arm around you and pulled you away.
“Don’t mind them. Seriously, they do this all the time. It’s their weird way of flirting,” Chaeyoung said. You wrinkled your nose and sent one last look back at the scene. A few other Slytherins were headed down the hall, and you tensed, but they said nothing, just whistling in a teasing manner. One girl, named Tzuyu, yelled for you to get it. Your faced bloomed red, and Chaeyoung laughed before moving her hand down and tangling her fingers together with yours.
“So, about what Nayeon said,” you started, tightening your hold on Chaeyoung’s hand with a small smile. Chaeyoung raised her eyebrows.
“About what Nayeon said about what?”
“She said a Slytherin and a Gryffindor dating. You think she was talking about us?” The butterflies in Chaeyoung’s stomach did butterflies.
“Maybe?” She said, not wanting to mess up whatever you were going to say.
“Well,” you said. “I’d like to make that a truth.” Chaeyoung’s heart all but stopped. The butterflies stuttered to a stop, wondering if they had heard right.
“You mean. You want to date me?” You nodded your head and looked over at Chaeyoung.
“Yeah. Do you want to date me?” The butterflies exploded. Chaeyoung almost cried, but she settled instead for laughing.
“Of course. I’d love to.”

Twice’s Reaction to Their Crush Having the Same Patronus as Them
Prompt: Oh! Oh! Love those idol with the houses! Can I request Red Velvet or Twice reaction when they see that their crush has the same patronus as theirs? You know, like Harry's parents' patronus are deer and a stag but in this case the idols are not close to their crush yet! I'm sorry, I'm just too excited for this kind of thing!
Jihyo: “Yes, we have something in common!” She wouldn’t celebrate directly in front of you, but once she was safely back in her room talking to her friends about it, a victory dance would be necessary.
Tumblr media
Nayeon: “Oh wow, you too? This is super cool.” She’d be surprised at first, but would quickly make it into an opportunity to talk to you, asking what the chances are and trying to befriend you.
Tumblr media
Jungyeon: “So that’s your patronus too?” In her best attempt to be smooth, she’d nonchalantly approach you and ask you about your patronus, showing you how hers is the same and making jokes.
Tumblr media
Mina: “Oh...” She would be unsure of what to do, awkwardly standing to the side although she would like to go talk to you because she doesn’t know what she would say to you and she’s shy around you.
Tumblr media
Momo: “Oh nice, this is awesome!” She would immediately be excited when she saw that your patronus matched hers, quickly walking over to you and happily showing you hers as she introduced herself.
Tumblr media
Sana: “Hi! My name is Sana, and your patronus matches mine!” She wouldn’t hesitate to introduce herself, acting as cute as possible without it being weird as she blatantly used it as an excuse to flirt with you.
Tumblr media
Dahyun: “I... What is happening?” She would become incredibly flustered, especially when you saw her patronus and came up to her first, unsure of what to say while her friends laugh behind her.
Tumblr media
Chaeyoung: “This is totally not happening.” She would immediately become nervous and start blushing and laughing, thinking that this scenario was something straight out of one of her favorite novels.
Tumblr media
Tzuyu: “Oh, um. It’s the same.” She would also be awkward when confronted with your matching patronus right away, looking at her friends for help and trying not to make it obvious that she’s been crushing since day one.

Red Velvet

You know, like Harry's parents' patronus are deer and a stag but in this case the idols are not close to their crush yet! I'm sorry, I'm just too excited for this kind of thing!
Wendy: “How about you, me, and our matching patronuses go out to dinner sometime?” What is subtlety? Wendy would jump on the opportunity to ask you out and make you laugh at the same time, tired of secretly crushing.
Tumblr media
Irene: “Well, that has to mean something, doesn’t it?” She wouldn’t say anything, shyly standing away from you, but she would glance at her friends and smile, making sure they knew that the two of you were for sure soulmates.
Tumblr media
Seulgi: “Wow! What a coincidence, right?” She would use to situation to her advantage, talking to you after seeing you patronus and showing you her own, trying to get closer to you in her own way.
Tumblr media
Joy: “Oh, we’re the same.” When the two of you ended up standing side-by-side with the same patronus, she wouldn’t know what to do other than nervously state the obvious, making you laugh and introduce yourself.
Tumblr media
Yeri: “Oh wow, this is happening.” She would be taken by complete shock and it would take psyching up from her friends to go over to you and show you her own patronus, voice giddy with excitement.
