i love “so you think you can dance” for a lot of reasons but partially because i love how they accept dancers from all backgrounds, and how dancers from all backgrounds do well!!! like, you’ll have them accepting classically trained ballerinas and breakdancers who have been self-taught from day one- and they have equal chance of winning, and they can and do win. i haven’t seen every season but i think about the ones i have seen and how it’s just about the talent and the passion and the dedication and that just makes me so HAPPY. not a lot of reality shows are truly about the art but i’ve always felt SYTCYD is.

Did 'SYTYCD' Outburst Send Dancer Packing?

Cocky or confident? The judges disagreed about one dancer’s attitude and outburst on Monday’s So You Think You Can Dance. Asaf Goren, Paula’s early favorite, had to dance for his life before being considered for the top 20. But it seems that the dance got his blood boiling because he ended up snapping at Nigel Lythgoe in the middle of the judges' decisions. Top 10 All-star Pairings

Rudy and Jenna - I really love this pairing! I think they're going to be great! I'd love to see them get a Samba, Jive, or Cha Cha, something fun and fast.

Jacque and Chehon - Yep, they're gonna get a pas de deux. Into it, but also such an obvious move.

Zack and Amy - Two of the most likeable characters ever on the show! It's gonna be great!

Bridget and Brandon - Anyone else kinda hoping they get disco instead of contemporary?

Ricky and Frodie - No way in hell this won't be epic. Show closer for sure.

Tanisha and Ryan DiLello - This is going to be hot as shit, and I can not freaking wait for it! I don't even particularly like Ryan but the man can dance and Tanisha is everything. This better be a Cha Cha, but I could also deal with a Rumba or Argentine tango from them, just throwin' it out there.

Emilio and Jasmine H - THIS BETTER BE HIP HOP OR I WILL PUNCH SOMEONE. Seriously, let it be known, we ALLwant Jasmine back as a hip hop all star and she and Emilio will CRUSH IT.

Valerie and Ade - This could be really fun depending on the choreographer, but I'm worried it's just going to be Ade lifting Valerie around the whole time. 

Casey and Kathryn - So you're saying he gets contemporary 2 weeks in a row? 

Jessica and tWitch - I think this will be good, but I'm probably going to still be annoyed she's even there a week from now :|
