Iced caramel/brown sugar latte recipe of mine. Any thoughts on what I should change
Iced caramel/brown sugar latte recipe of mine. Any thoughts on what I should change In a saucepanAdd 1/4 brown sugar, 1/4 cane or granulated sugarMix with 1/4 cup of milk in a saucepan until dissolved.Heat on low for 1 minute while constantly mixing.___________Take off the heat to add the next ingredients -Vanilla to taste (1/2 tbsp)3-4 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream1 tbsp of light corn syrupMix until incorporated. Place back onto the stove, cover the top, and let the mixture run on high for 3 minutes.___________NOTE -Since there’s milk in there it may boil over the saucepan and spill, if it rises just wait for it to go down by uncovering it, mixing it, then re-covering the saucepan. Once you’re done, let the mixture cool for a couple of minutes then add it as the base into your cup of ice (only fill up the first inch and a half of the cup), after that add milk of choice, and half a shot of espresso and it’s done!___________Personally, I love the taste! I usually eyeball the ingredients and just typed out what I believe makes sense in the proportions, if you have suggestions or try it lmk! @vanelja Vanilla Choco N’Ice Cream Sandwiches, anyone? 🍦🍪✌🏽 ✨ Vanilla n’ice cream:3 ripe frozen & sliced bananas1 can full-fat coconut milk (kept in a fridge)½ tsp vanilla powderPlace all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. You may have to to scopp down the sides. Pour the ice cream mixture in a freezer-safe tin and freeze about 30 mins. Prepare the cookies. ✨Chocolate Cookies:1 cup almond flour1 cup oat flour4 tbsp raw cocoa powder3 tbsp flax meal½ tsp baking soda½ tsp vanilla powder8 tbsp water3 tbsp coconut oil, melted4 tbsp maple syrup or coconut syrupPreheat the oven to 175 C / 350 F degrees. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add water and melted coconut oil and syrup. Mix. The dough should be easily moldable. Add water or flour if needed. You should be able to make a big ball out of the dough with your hands. Place a dough ball between two pieces of parchment paper. Roll out to ½ inch thickness. Cut the dough into cookies with a knife or use a cookie mold. Place the cookies gently on a baking tray covered with a baking sheet. Bake for 8 – 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely. The cookies will get crispier as they cool. ✨Chocolate frosting:½ cup coconut oil, melted3 tbsp raw cocoa powder2 tbsp coconut syrupMix the melted coconut oil, cocoa powder and coconut syrup in a small bowl. ✨Assembly:Scoop about two spoonfuls of the ice cream and place it on the back side of one cookie. Place another cookie on top of the ice cream and press down gently. Drip some chocolate frosting on top on the sandwiches and top with shredded coconut. Freeze for 30-60 minutes. Enjoy!
