8. Whispers of jealousy (part 1)
Lisy was silent on the way back to Stormwind. She confirmed to herself, that she is jealous as hell. She was afraid, if Anduin will chose Taelia over her. She even had a nightmare last night.
- Are you alright, my love? - just needed to think of him. But she was tired to start an arguement. So she pretends, for now.
- I'm okay... just tired, that's all.
- I understand, especially what you went through... while you were out.
- Even the great warriors can exhaust... What about you?
- I'm just relieved to see you again. - kissed her cheek. - And i haven't received any notes from you in this week.
- What if i told you, it was a little revenge, like years ago? - she saw Anduin's confused expression, but she laughed.- I was busy too, nah.
- Okay, okay. You were busy, and see? I ain't even make a fuss about.
- Because you're not as hot-headed as me!
The king didn't ask more, he just hugged Lisy tightly.
- By the way... how are things in the Arathi Highlands? I heard, the Alliance & the Horde battling over.
- Ah yes... territory marking. But we're doing well there, we just can't let them come close to spread to south. And i just got a message from Warden Shadowsong. It's urgent!
- Is it okay, if i'll attend at the council?
- My command is, be there!
***
- I wish things were different, High Priestess. But with the war in both Arathi & Zandalar, an assault on Darkshore would stretch us too thin. - Anduin tried to reason with Tyrande, back in Stormwind. Lisy stood beside him & just listened. In her opinion, she may side with the night elf. It was true, a mass genocide, like what happened weeks ago, she even almost died in the fire.
- My people need action, not excuses! We will not languish in Stormwind, while the Horde defiles our lands!
Anduin pleaded, that he promises, after the war, they will recover Teldrassil, but Tyrande didn't listen. She will take the kaldorei's fate in her hands then, if no one lend theirs.
Later Maiev Shadowsong told, Tyrande left for Darkshore.
- Lisyndra, our forces in Zuldazar have not yet begun their assault. With your aid, we may be succeed on both fronts.
- You can count on me! - then she turned to Shandris. - Let me help you then, the more, the merrier.
- Our ship waits in the harbor, what are we waiting for then?
Lisy nodded, then left.
***
Seeing Darkshore again, Lisy couldn't even think, she'd ever return. And the silence... killing.
Arriving there, Shandris noticed a destroyed kaldorei ship. That must be Tyrande's. She probably did it on purpose. Shandris ordered to find any clues about the High Priestess's whereabout.
Lisy looked around at the destroyed ship & found an ancient tome. She didn't understand Darnassian, so she showed to the others.
- That tome... could it be?
- The Night Warrior. - Maiev answered. - The ritual will kill her! We depart for Darkshore immediately.
She, Maiev, Sira & Shandris rowed to the shore, while they discussed the information. Legends says, Elune, their goddess has an another incarnation. Her wrath.
As the group wandered north, they collected Tyrande's left belongings. At a forsaken camp, they rescued her saber, Ash'alah, and freed kaldorei captives.
- Uhm... warden Maiev? Can i ask about the ritual? I mean, why is it dangerous?
- Legends says long ago, Elune bestowed her fury upon our greatest warriors to secure Kalimdor. In a sacred ritual, the strongest among them became her avatar. The Night Warrior. Our victory was swift. None who have attempted the ritual since then survived. Elune's raw power tears them apart.
- Oh... i just hope we'll arrive in time. Does even Tyrande know the risks, if she completes the ritual?
- Probably, young warrior. - then they saw a familiar figure. - There she is!
Lisy couldn't decide, that they arrived in time, or late? But it seemed it didn't matter. Tyrande will complete the Night Warrior's ritual. So she & the others protects her, while performing. And it succeeded, Elune heard her prayers & gave the power. And she changed a little physically. With her new power, they succeeded for now. But at the shore, they caught Nathanos, but he escaped with the valkyr's help, and some dead kaldorei were raised as new Dark Rangers. The former captain, Delaryn had the same fate. Along Sira Moonwarden.
***
- When this war began, i thought we were figthing for peace. But we're just... fighting.
They stood in the harbor, watching the soldiers - survived, injured, or dead - took off the ships. Lisy haven't experienced a big war, like before.
- You're doing all you can to stop her, Your Majesty. - said Genn.
- Yeah, we're tryin' our best. I'm afraid, we'll have a mass of loss, if we can't end this as soon as possible. - said Lisy.
She saw Anduin's face. Like he has something in his mind.
- What are you up to?
- It's hard to explain, i'll tell later in private. - then he went to the Stockades. Later Lisy went home. She needed to talk someone, who understands her.
- Ah Lisy, i should get used to the fact, that you always come home without any warning. - said Meredith, as her daughter stepped in.
- Yea, mum, it's good to see you! Uhm... - she sat in the dining room. - Can we talk? Like in a typical mother-daughter way?
- Does something bother you?
- Kinda...
- Is it about Anduin?
- How did you know?
- Only a mother knows her daughter more than anyone else.
Then Lisy told her the whole story, from arriving Kul Tiras, 'til the uniting ceremony.
- So you see a threat in her?
- She has noble lineage, and her father has a big name. And im afraid Genn would make them get together.
Meredith thought for a moment. What advice she needs the most right now?
- And... have you told him, what are you feeling now?
- Not yet... i don't want argue with him... the last time we did... it wasn't pleasant to meet again.
- Since that girl introduced herself in Boralus, you are... different. Don't tell me, you are jealous!
- Between a Fordragon & a Stonehart, what are the odds? Seriously, i'm afraid i have no chance. And what if the House of Nobles intervene?
- If he loves you, he wouldn't let them speak up against you. You have everything, what a worthy queen might have. You are strong, iron-willed, you used your strategic skills back in the Broken Isles, but you sometimes do unladylike things, like drinking, brawling, i even know, that you single-handedly beat up your guard years ago.
- Geez, i knew, it will come to light soon...
- It doesn't matter, you know what i meant. Don't lose your faith.
Lisy thought about, what her mother said.
- Thanks mum. Uhm... I gotta go back, i have to talk with Anduin.
- Okay, don't forget, what we just talked about.
- No worries.
***
- You released Saurfang... really? - I had to. He knows something, to end Sylvanas’s reign. - Like what? - He didn't tell details. - they were again in the Keep's garden. - By the way, you haven't visited me for awhile. - I just take part in the current campaign. - it was true. But on the other hand, her jealousy made her do it. And what's worse, some whispers make it worse. She even had nightmares, not just once. - I don't want to lose you. Can't you tell me, what's bothering you? - I'm fine, i already told you. - sighs. - I have to go, before i miss the ship. I try to contact you, as soon as i can.
Anduin kissed her gently, as a farewell. But somehow, she didn't want to kiss him back. Without asking, he just let her go. - Be safe... i don't want to lose you.

Syndruin-series ch.10 FINALE
10. The Iron Crown
- Lady Stonehart, rise and shine!
- Mhhh, just five more minutes... pleeease...
Lisy let out a loud snore. It seemed she's still in a deep sleep. The maid had enough. She pulled the blanket off Lisy.
- Lady Stonehart, i don't want to tell again, if you don't want to miss your wedding, hurry up!
Then the warrior opened her eyes & jolted up. The day has come. Today she will be Lisyndra Wrynn, she will be the Queen of the Alliance, and she is ready to take responsibility
She immediately took a warm bath, to freshen up, after ate the breakfast, what was already served.
When she was done with, the maids brought her wedding dress & helped the warrior dress up, then her hair & the make-up was left.
An hour later she was finished, and observed herself in the mirror. Lisy couldn't believe her eyes, what she saw, that was spectacular, she even couldn't recognize herself.
'Okay, Lisy, you got this... the man, who've been you fought for in your entire life, just waiting for you down the cathedral, you can't mess up...', thought, then left her chamber.
She arrived in the throne room, where the main leaders of the Alliance - except Tyrande, but Shandris was present on her behalf - were assembled, even Meredith too.
- Oh my dear, you look magnificent! - hugged her daughter.
- Mum, please, just don't cry!
- I'm sorry... i just couldn't imagine, that i will ever see you getting married. I wonder, if Aiden would be here...
Suddenly Genn came to them.
- My apologies for the interruption... Lisyndra, i just want to ask you, have you decided, who shall you escort down the aisle?
Lisy thought for a moment. Since her father is out of the picture, maybe she'll do this alone, but on the other side Genn taught her everything, what she has to know, after this day. So she must return the favor.
- Yes... King Greymane... would you do the honor?
- Thank you, child. One more thing, please promise me only one thing!
- What is it?
- Just control yourself under important meetings, in the future! I know, you're a little hot-headed.
- Well, if only you will never harass us with the 'heir' thing!
- As you wish...
Then they left the Keep, the leaders went first, of course the bride comes last. When they arrived at the Cathedral Square, they had a few minutes, 'til the ceremony begins. Lisy excused herself, and headed to the cementery. There was something, she must do.
- Hello father... it's been a while... - then sat onto the bench in front of Aiden's grave. - You may be satisfied,... i became a lady, what you ever dreamt of. But let me tell you something about it... I never know, what was the main reason of this obsession, but it was my own choice. You didn't break me, that's why i'm here like this. You wanted a lady... but i chose to be a Queen. Shit... you really should be here, to see me with your eyes sparkling with pride... like... really...
Meanwhile the bells began to ring, meaning, the ceremony is about to begin. Lisy turned back for a last look, then hurried back, just in time. Genn waited for her at the entrance.
- Is everything alright?
- Just family matters... but i'm fine...
Now or never.
The attendants stood up in unison, as Lisy & Genn appeared. Anduin stood at the altar back to them. Lisy walked down with grace, smiling gently. She saw Lathya & Klooen in the first rows, smiling back at her. Her mother wept joyfully, as she saw her daughter again.
Finally they reached the altar, and Anduin finally took a look at his bride the first time.
- Wow, you are so beautiful, just like a goddess! - whispered. - You should be more like this.
- Better savor this moment, because this is the first & last time to see me in a fancy dress.
The priest did grind his throat, to speak up.
- Honored attendants, today, we are all gathered to witness a sacred union, between High King Anduin Wrynn & Lady Lisyndra Alayne Stonehart. Their decision to marry has been entered into lightly and today they publicly declare their private devotion to each other. The essence of this commitment is the acceptance of each other in entirety, as lover, companion, and friend. A good and balanced relationship is one in which neither person is overpowered nor absorbed by the other, one in which neither person is possessive of the other, one in which both give their love freely and without jealousy. Marriage, ideally, is a sharing of responsibilities, hopes, and dreams. It takes a special effort to grow together, survive hard times, and be loving and unselfish.
The altar boy, who was currently the ringbearer, held a small pillow, with two rings & offered them.
- King Anduin Wrynn, do you take Lady Lisyndra Alayne Stonehart to be your wife, and your queen? Do you promise to be faithful to her in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love her and to honor her all the days of your life?
- I do. - Anduin's voice echoed with determination, yet passion. The priest turned to Lisy then.
- Lady Lisyndra Alayne Stonehart, do you take King Anduin Wrynn to be your husband, and your king? Do you promise to be faithful to him in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love him and to honor him all the days of your life?
- I do. - her voice trembled a little, but it was all just excitement. - I really do.
- Time for your vows. Lady Lisyndra, you may go first.
Lisy looked deeply into her lover's eyes. She knew already, what to tell.
- Anduin... the moment we met, back then, when i got lost in the Keep, i've never thought we were destined to meet that day. But as years passed i suddenly felt those sparks, and the overwhelming feeling, that we are bonded by Fate. It wasn't until i knew the true meaning of love at first sight. You are my anchor in the storm, keeping me steady, when things get rough, and making sure, never drift too far from who i am, and who i want to be. I solemly promise, that i'll always be there for you, and i'll support you, no matter what.
Anduin chuckled for a moment, a single teardrop appeared in his eyes. It was his turn.
- Oh, sorry, i'm just... ahem, Lisyndra, my dear. When i met you, i never thought, that one day we end up here. Before you, i was nothing, just a pawn in the adults's game, but when you stepped into my life, something changed me inside. You've made me see a side of myself, that i never realized i had. There were so many times i feared, that this moment, standing up here beside you, wouldn't happen. Or that our lives might be cut short. But you have a way of changing the odds... of making the impossible happen. Every moment with you feels with possibility. You challenge me, and nudge me in the right direction, when i need a little push. I promise to love you, to honor you, and cherish you. To support you, fight for you, and inspire you... as you have always done for me. No matter, what the future holds for us, i know, that together is where we're meant to be.
Some of the guests wiped tears from their cheek. Indeed, these vows were full of emotion & touchy. Then Anduin spoke up.
- Before we turn to the final part, there is something else i must do. - then signed to a guard, who brought in a silver-almost iron-colored crown with aquamarine gems with. Lisy knew, this was the moment, so she knelt for the coronation ceremony.
Anduin took the crown, and held above Lisy's head.
- Lisyndra Stonehart, do you pledge your loyalty & your devotion to the Alliance, from this day, until your last day?
- I do.
- Do you swear to your people, that you will always listen to their plea, and will you take it as your priority?
- I swear.
- And will you alway lead the Alliance with courage, with humility to glory?
- I will.
- From this moment, i will grant you the title: High Queen of the Alliance! - and placed the crown onto her head. - Wear this title with diginity & pride! You may rise now, Queen Lisyndra Wrynn!
She stood up, and held Anduin's hand. Finally the priest took back the part of the speech.
- In the name of the Holy Light, i will pronounce you husband & wife, King & Queen! Now, may this union be sealed with a kiss!
Lisy couldn't hold herself back, she pulled her now-husband close & kissed him sweetly. The crowd erupted into applause. And it was just the beginning.
***
It was indeed a lovely ceremony, but what's the wedding without a reception. It was held in the Keep's throne room, and the servants did their very best with the dinner. And drinks of course.
And the opening dance. Secretly, Lisy put some seductive movements spontaneously, just to turn her husband on a little. But they amazed the crowd.
They had a good time on the reception, after midnight, the guests went slow by slow.
Finally, only the royal couple remained, they didn't feel exhausted, but still, they headed to their room. Together, not apart from now on.
- When did you re-decorate? It's kinda different again, since i was here last time.
- While you were busy with the education, i had my time to rearrange everything, to be ready for you.
- But can i still keep my private chamber, if we argue again?
- If you insist. - suddenly kissed her, then lead her to the fireplace. - Aren't you tired, are you?
- Nop... why?
- How about... exchange our wedding gifts, if you don't mind?
- Sure... shit, i forgot to bring down mine...
- Don't worry, the maids brought down in the noon.
They sat down the carpet. Lisy handed Anduin a packed item.
- I hope you'll like it, these are very rare & i think you can use them well in the future.
The king started to wrap out. It was an artifact for priests, plus a spell book.
- Lisy, these are rare indeed, where did you get them?
- Commander Harlow is an archeologist in her free time. I asked her, that she could find them.
- I promise i'll take a good care of them... okay, my turn. - then hands her a fine sword. - I heard yours were destroyed when you were in N'Yalotha. You couldn't even repair. - Lisy nodded. - I thought a lot about, and i made the decision. This sword belonged to my grandfather... Llane Wrynn... and i think it calls for a new wielder.
- No, i can't accept it! What if i cause damage on this? And it's a very valuable sword!
- I insist to take it! As my grandfather was a great warrior... and you are too, and you are worthy to wield it, please!
Lisy hesitated for a moment, but took the weapon. If she will honors Llane's memory, so be it.
She pulled Anduin into a deep, passionate kiss, now no one will disturb them ever. The king kissed her back, while slowly undid her dress at her back, and slowly undressed her. Lisy did the same, she didn't hold herself back again, they stripped the each other, until there was nothing on them. The warrior blushed at the sight, the king too, as observed his wife. Gently picked her up & put her onto the bed. The moon lit from a perfect angle, she was more attractive in the moonlight.
- I've waited for you for so long, and now you're mine... you're so beautiful... i could kiss all your scars, until all is gone.
- Hey, these scars made me who i am, or can i say... i am my scars? - joked. - Come on, and take me, i want you so bad!
- Say no more, my Queen! - then teased her gently.
His touches just turned her on better, he did his best to make her feel good. A moment later he placed himself between her legs. It hurt a little at first, tears flew down on the warrior's cheek, but still smiled at him. He smiled back at her, then started moving slowly in her, make her moan. They had a long journey to realize, they were bonded from the beginning. They are one now.
- Lisyndra...
- Anduin...

8. Whispers of jealousy (part 3)
- Hey... hey lass... - Mhhmhh...
She fainted again. She slowly sat up & tried to remember back. It was so sudden... she saw Azshara again... of course... Ny'alotha. But she didn't attack them, after they released the naga queen. She just gave the blade, what the Horde stole days ago. And Wrathion... N'Zoth.
- Did we... succeed?
- Ah ye', we did, lass! Ya' shall be proud of ya!
Lisy slowly stood up. She was again in the Chamber of the Heart. They won. Like... really. The nightmares are over, she just hope she doesn't have to deal with an another nightmare in the future.
She glanced at her sword... broken in pieces. It was her favourite, gotten from Varian, after her training, years ago. Looking at the grievous damage, its irrepairable. But she won't throw out. This sword was like her other half. Well then, she just keep it, as a trophy in her room. After getting home, dressing into something comfortable, and put her sword onto her desk, she went into the city to get a glass-cabinet. An hour later, she successfully crafted it & placed the shattered sword, she planned to visit Anduin as a suprise.
***
When she arrived at the Keep, she went straight to the throne room, but he wasn't found. 'Geez, that's unusual', thought, but kept looking for him. Then he heard voices in the courtyard. She recognized his voice, and an another. She silently approached him, but still remained hidden. She had bad feelings again, and it was just the top of the iceberg.
- ... i made my decision. - she kept listening. - I knew from the very first moment i saw you. And worth to wait for so long.
She slowly peeked from the pillar. She saw Anduin kneeling before Taelia & opens up a small box. - I cannot live without you, unless... will you rule the Alliance side by side with me? Would you marry me?
Lisy listened enough, she didn't want to hear more & ran back home. Then it was nothing between them. She was just some kind of joke. She stormed into the house, for now, Meredith wasn't there, she didn't had to bother her with an another blow-up. She collapsed on her bed & sobbed hysterically.
She couldn't endure more. If he decided like that, then she has no reason to stay in the city anymore. After Lisy calmed down, she packed her most neccessary belongings, left a farewell-note to her mother & went to the docks. Maybe she can find a place in Northrend, and get a job at any garrisons. Or leaving for the alternate Draenor? Not a bad one too. but for now, just away from here.
***
The ship finally left the harbor. The chilly air was pleasant for the young warrior. She can think clearly. When she could had think, she reached an another level, something interrupted... again. Lisy suddenly heard, someone calls her name... but, from above?
- Lisyyyy!!!! - then she glanced up. No way! She turned away, and went below deck, but a big "thud" knocked from her balance, and almost tripped. The crew observed the scene with curiosity.
Anduin hopped down from his gryphon. They stood face-to-face, in an awkward silence.
- I heard, you leave Stormwind. - Wow, and came to say farewell? Didn't you forgot your precious 'fiancée'? - What are you talking about? - You KNOW, what i mean! Tell me... was i just some joke to you? A 'temporary partner' ? A side-chick? Let me know, and leave me alone, like forever, and be happy!!!
The king just approached her closer.
- The truth is... i prepared for weeks... and... - Weeks... what a concidence, weeks happened, since she stepped into the picture. - You misunderstand! Just listen for once! - then he took a deep breath to get his thoughts. - As i said, i already prepared for weeks, but anytime i wanted to make my move, i became nervous. So... what you saw... it was just a practice. - Practice?
Anduin was close enough to her, he took her hands into his & looked into her eyes.
- I wanted to make it properly, but according to the circumstances, i only can dream about that. - then knelt before her. - But i can trust in spontaneity, for now. When we were just kids, and i asked you first, to be my Queen, i was kidding. The second time, when we shared our first kiss, i asked again, because i've seen hope in us. And after a common saying, "third time is the charm", i'm truly certain, this is the right time, to ask you for the third, and hopefully the last time... - then pulls out a small box & opens up. It was Tiffin's old ring, but he renewed a little, to match to its new owner. - ... because no one was there beside me, but you, in good & in bad. Lisyndra Alayne Stonehart... would you be officially my Queen?
Lisy stood in silence, with tears in her eyes, but these tears were more like joyful, than sadness. Even she showed up as a thug warrior before the world, but she still had a heart. A heart, what only beat for someone, who truly loves.
- Yes... i.. yes! - she still couldn't believe it. It really happened, and didn't expect this.
Anduin stood up & put the ring onto her finger. He couldn't control his manners, he pulled her bethroted & kissed her, like no one was there. Just him & her. The crew who witnessed this beautiful moment, reacted with a enthusiastic ovation. The newly engaged couple parted away, to take a little breath & digest the fact.
- So... do you want to still leave? - Nop... - Then let's go home. - Will your gryphon endure the both of us? - He will, don't worry.
After they took off the ship, they still heard the crew's regards, then flew back to Stormwind.
The next one, they had to organize a bethoral ball. And it's just the beginning.

Syndruin-series ch.7/3
7. The situation is escalating (into the worse way) part 3.
Another adventure to another unknown lands. Well, for Lisy, it was really unknown. Once she heard tales about the Kul Tiran, and now she can't wait to see them in person. But there was something else. How will they react, if Jaina shows up? Will she handle the situation?
Instead filling her thoughts with questions, she went to sleep.
A knocking jolted her up later.
- Lady Stonehart, we've arrived!
- Uhm... thanks, i just need a few minutes!
- Take your time, the ship will dock then!
After get her armor on, sword on her back, she met Jaina at the topside.
- They're not letting us closer to the keep. We'll have to walk from here. - she sighed. - Returning to Boralus has stirred feelings i thought i'd left behind. Memories smoothed away by the years like stones in the tide. It all feels raw again.
- So...
- I do not know how this will end, only that we must try.
Lisy nodded then, signing to be ready for whatever comes. Jaina teleported themselves in front of the Keep's gate. Some guards approached them.
- Halt! State your intentions!
- I am Jaina Proudmoore! I have come for an audience with Lord Admiral Katherine Proudmoore... my mother.
- We're taking you to Katherine, all right. You will answer to her for your crimes against Kul Tiras!
- As you wish... - Lisy just glared at the mage. Wait, she just... give in? So soon? She had to keep the pace with them then, while the thoughts tormented her. Geez... she felt, it won't end good.
And she was right.
***
It was cold.
Too cold. And hard. And uncomfortable.
Lisy slowly opened her eyes, needed seconds to clear her vision. She was in a prison. How did she end up here? Slowly stood up & looked at herself. Where's her gear? And when did she change? Did the guard do it, while she was unconscious?
- Heyyy, look who's finally awake.
- Who's there? - turned to the voice's direction.
There was a man on the other side of the cell.
- Hope you had a nice nap. You're gonna need your strenght.
- Can i know your name at last?
- Having to carry you would have made this job less appealing. The name's Flynn, and my client in Boralus is paying me a king's bounty to break you out of here. Don't worry, i have a plan!
- Cool, i'm ready for it.
- Hit me.
Lisy's eyes widened.
- Are you kidding?
- Come on, hit me!
- Alright, then don't complain! - then she with all her strenght, she punshed Flynn in the face, then he fell on the floor.
- AUGH! OH, YOU BRUTE! GUARD, GUARD, HELP!
As she thought, a guard went to her cell, to check-on. He opened the cell's door to come in. She knew what to do. She fought the guard as well, then Flynn jumped up & finished him.
The door was open, Lisy peeked out. On the right she noticed a lever. Flynn told her to pull it. She obeyed. It opened all the doors. A little prison break will distract the guards, while she escapes.
- Your gear is in that chest there. Grab them & go.
Later she felt more comfortable in her armor. Now they had to deal with the block-warden, to get his keys.
- Damn, the keys are ruined. That was some serious spellpowder. - then he pointed the other corner. - Just what kind of powder is this?
- I've seen this, at home! - she just saw an another Azerite, but in powdered version.
- Then grab some of. Maybe we can blow the lock. Sprinkle some of that powder on it.
It worked. The way was open for them. But how can they find the exit among so much guards. Then they saw an entrance of the sewers. Eww, but there was no more option.
***
- Flynn! Over here! - a girl waited for them at the shore with a rowboat.
- There she is, let's hop in!
Finally they left this horrible prison. The Stockade is much better honestly.
- What is going on in there? It sounds like you started a riot.
- No idea what you're talking about... But i think we finally have some real dirt on Ashvane. A new gunpowder, like nothing i've ever seen. Oh, and i rescued the target of course. Crime-buddy, Taelia, Taelia. crime-buddy.
- Lisyndra Stonehart, to be correct!
- Wait... i recognize you! You arrived with Jaina Proudmoore! You are the Alliance emissary!
- Alliance emissary? Cyrus didn't mention that... I would have charged him double.
Lisy leaned back in the boat, glancing back the prison she escaped from. She hoped she won't meet a "Wanted"-flayer mentioning her.
The little group arrived back in Boralus safe & sound. They noticed, that an another Alliance-ship arrived. It seems Genn & his men arrived much later after them. Well, their welcome was as harsh, as she experienced. Luckily the harbormaster intervened & welcomed them. Lisy, before she could focus on her mission, Taelia showed the city first. She found, that Taelia is really curious about the Eastern Kingdoms. After she occupied for herself a room in the Snug Harbor Inn, they went back to Cyrus.
Kul Tiras is in a big trouble, since Daelin Proudmoore's sudden death. The great houses of the kingdom are falling apart. Taelia suspects that something must be in the background, what happened to them. The great houses must unite before it's too late... and of course, before Lisy forgets, she has to find Jaina.
***
The following days lasted fast, since Lisy stepped into Kul Tiras. And strange things happened, in each regions. The Stormsongs made a pact with Azshara... yes, that Queen Azshara, so the kingdom's fleet disappeared because of it. In Drustvar, witchcraft terrorizes the locals. Even the late leaders of the Waycrests fell into their dark magic. Only the sole member of that family Lucille stood with her & ended Lady Waycrest's madness. And what happened in Tiragarde, near Boralus, Daelin's Gate fell by pirates, and the main reason was...
The girls arrived just in time at the Unity Square. They heard everything from the beginning. Katherine was about to step down as Lord Admiral & planned to give the title to Lady Ashvane.
- I will shoulder this heavy burden. I can only hope, i will be a worthy successor.
- Lady Ashvane has been my rock since those first dark days when we both lost our husbands. - Katherine continued to speak. - Now she will be the kingdom'r rock. Now... she is...
- A liar! - the girls interrupted the speech & walked to them. - So... this was your play along. Despicable.
Ashvane couldn't spit or swallow, as Taelia stepped up.
- What is the meaning of this, girl?
- Lady Priscilla Ashvane, you are under arrest for trafficking, conspiring with pirates, and high treason against the Admiralty of Kul Tiras! And we have evidence!
Then Taelia showed the bag, inside with the Azerite-powder. The Ashvane Trading Company used it for weapons, selling them to the pirates, just to make an attack at Daelin's gate, just to make the people believe, the Proudmoores are no worthy to lead Kul Tiras. Lisy had enough, she chased Ashvane through the city, but Ashvane got away successfully. The young warrior knew, she will meet her once again.
***
Oh, poor Katherine. She still couldn't digest this betrayal. She was at the cementery, at Daelin's grave. Lisy waited outside, while Genn talks to her. But the warrior's curiousity overwhelmed her, so tried to eavesdrop.
- ... I see her... in my dreams... Genn... she is... burning...
- Katherine, she is calling out to you. You must go to her.
- It's too late for that...
- If you can hear her... then it's not too late.I would give anything to hold my boy again. You've been given one more chance. Take it. Bring her home.
Before they could come out, Lisy stepped away, not showing any suspicious sign of spying. So the main mission begins. And the clock is ticking.
***
At least they found out, what happened, even it took to slay some Ashvane-buttlickers, as Lisy called those men. Fate's End. Katherine mentioned, that all those criminals who committed serious crimes, they are sent there for the rest of their lives.
With the help of Brother Pyke, along the tidesages, they took Lisy there, but she didn't find Jaina, just her staff. She found out, that meanwhile she was in this island, the Drust took her away.
Later, coming back to the terrific place, Lisy shared the informations to Katherine, what she found. The Lord Admiral asked her, to join to the rescue.
- I was the one who brought this fate upon her. I will be there to set it right.
- As you wish, Lord Admiral.
***
- The Blighted Lands... this place certainly lives up to it's name.
This land looked like a nightmare. Lisy never heard about, when she spent her afternoons in the Stormwind library in her youth. And how will they find Jaina. She could be anywhere, and no one knows, how big is this place.
- You could have stopped him! You could have save us...
Lisy turned to the voices. Ghosts? Then she recognized them. The people from... Theramore? And in the middle, an Jaina was there? She did nothing, but blamed herself. Lisy remembered back, when she heard about the destruction. She wasn't there, but she imagined, how horrific was.
- Jaina, you were... are the pride of Kul Tiras. Her powers, and her fury... but even the strongest of us can't save everyone.
Lisy & Katherine had to search again. It was just an echo of her. They found two more echos, with Rhonin & Varian's. Lisy froze, as she saw her late mentor. But she knew, it was not real.
- My daughter is here somewhere. Hiding... suffering. We will find her... and free her from this forsaken place.
Finally, they found her. But an another problem was there.
- None of you will escape!
- Mother, look out!
Lisy took her sword & helped to defeat Gorak Tul. Along Jaina, they finished off this monster & left this nightmare.
***
They went back to Boralus. Before they could take a rest, Taelia brought bad news. The guards noticed pirate ships at the gates led by Ashvane.
Lisy joined into the fight, and killed pirates who snuck into the city. But the battle is not over. There are still some ships heading to the gate. Lisy joined to the other at the top, and saw Jaina using her powers holding Daelin's medallion, she brought back the lost kul tiran fleet. Ashvane surrendered & was taken to Tol Dagor.
Later Lisy went to the Unity Square & her heart stopped for a second. Anduin was there. But when did he come here? She ran to him & kissed him.
- I missed you!
- I missed you too... my Little Jenkins!
- I want to tell you everything, what just happened here.
- Later, i promise. We have something to discuss with the Lord Admiral first.
Lisy nodded, then they went to Katherine & Jaina. And the half of the city was gathered.
- Division has made us vulnerable. We are beset by enemies from within. The Horde, too, had made its intentions clear. Those savages would see us burn. I ask you to put your faith in my daughter Jaina... the true Lord Admiral of Kul Tiras. And to renew our bond with the Alliance, whos hero, Lisyndra Stonehart have saved us from our own unmaking.
Lisy's chest was swollen with pride. She just smiled at the people, who cheered her. Lucille Waycrest & the Order of Embers stood again with the Proudmoores. Brother Pyke & the Storm's Wake took their allegiance as well. Kul Tiras was finally united at once.
- Thank you, all of you. I will do anything I can to prove worthy of your trust.
Anduin stepped forward then.
- I am pleased and honored to welcome Kul Tiras back into the Alliance. May the Light guide us to Victory.
- King Wrynn, there is someone you should meet. Along with Lady Lisyndra, she was instrumental in saving our kingdom... and my life.
Taelia kneels before Anduin.
- It is an honor to meet you, King Wrynn. I am Taelia. Taelia Fordragon.
- Fordragon?! - Anduin was suprised, hearing a familiar name.
- Daughter of Bolvar. Fostered under our protection since the Third War. - Katherine spoke.
- Taelia... please, rise. The honor is mine.
- Did you know my father?
Anduin responds with high praise.
- Highlord Bolvar was a great man. A true hero to the Alliance... and to me. I remember now... he used to write you letters. He had a nickname for you...
Taelia finishes the sentence wistfully.
- "My shining star." The letters stopped coming. I... I have so many questions.
- Taelia, when time permits, you must come to Stormwind as my guest. I have many stories to share about your father.
Lisy's heart started to beat faster. It can't be. A Fordragon. It's a big thing... what if Anduin takes interest in her? She snuck away back to her quarters. At night she couldn't even sleep. She felt something. Something bad. Was it... jealousy?

Syndruin-series ch. 9/3
9. Court of manners & passion (part 3)
- Next question! What do you know about the House of Nobles? - Uhm... they are the goverment's part in Stormwind. The positions of each members are inherited. If the King is away, they rule on his behalf. - That's correct! I wondered, you even know. - King Greymane, even i prefer slaughtering on the battlefields, i haven't forgotten, how much i read, when i was a child. - Let's moving on, a last, easy question & we take a break. Name a famous Alliance paladin! - Heh, easy! Leeroy Jenkins!
-smack-
- Ow! What was that for? - Lisyndra, be serious! - Okay, okay, i was kidding... Uther, the Lightbringer...
Finally she can rest a little. She had to re-fresh the entire history for a warm-up, next she will take etiquette lessons. It will be hard for the warrior, but everything has a price for each goals. She only endures all for Anduin, for their love. Soon, the breaktime was over & the next lesson has been started. Diplomacy meetings, how shall she handle them in the future, they even practiced a scenario. Well, Lisy nailed it... some parts, she still need to learn.
***
As night fell, she went to the Pig & Whistle to take a rest by drinking. These days are harder, than usual. 'What will tomorrow hold?', thought, while she took long sips from her beer. Only one day passed, but she already feels exhausted. She really needs something to let out the steam, maybe during breaktimes, she sneaks out to the training grounds. Yea, that would be good.
After the tavern visit, she headed back to the Keep & fell asleep so soon.
***
Days passed, and it seemed these lessons were about to paid well. Only a few days remained 'til the wedding, there was only one thing, that the young warrior should know. But now, Tess took this conversation.
- ... do you really want me to enlighten about... the wedding night? - Well, you just admitted, you are 'innocent', what is kinda suprising. - So you are, and you still want to talk about. - I have no choice. I mean, my father thinks, it's better between girl & girl, it's less uncomfortable. - Tess! Look, i really appreciate it, but somehow i still find this conversation... awkward, i think i better check some educational books, or ask a professional. The princess was silent for a moment, but she gave in once. - Well... if you really insist... - I really insist, if you don't mind! - then left & went to the library. On the way she heard two guards talking.
- ... i can tell you, that chick is amazing. We had more than five rounds, even it emptied my pouch, but worth it! - What did you say, who is she? - Some slut, named... Cordelia, i think. She lives in Dalaran.
While the guards talked about this infamous Cordelia, Lisy eavesdropped on them. Maybe she'll takes a visit & pays her for some lessons.
***
Checking again the adress, it must be the place. Lisy took a deep breath & knocked. A minute later, the door was opened & let the warrior in. Lisy observed the host. A pretty blood elf... but her eyes were glowing icy-blue... and her skin was pale... almost greyish... she was a death knight. - Are you... Cordelia? - Yes, and you are... - Lisyndra. I heard about you from someone, i require a little help.
The elf looked at her sceptically.
- Depends on, what is it. - I need you to educate me... how to... seduce. - Is that all? - Well, i have my reasons, i can tell you with more details.
Cordelia nodded, then invited her to her bedroom, while Lisy explained the situation.
- Of course, i can help you. Don't worry, i won't take your first from your beloved. Shall we begin then? Lisy nodded. 'Damn, even she's undead, she's still attractive', thought, while she put down her belongings. - Strip! - Huh? - You heard well, if you want to know seducing, let me see you first, then i'll show you what to know.
Lisy's heart started to beat faster, but obeyed. Slowly removed her clothes, while prayed silently for forgiveness. 'Anduin... if you will find about this... forgive me!' She just want to know some stuff, it can't count as cheating on. After the last piece of clothing were removed, Cordelia ordered to lay down & let her lead. Then the elf started teasing her slowly, what made the warrior moan. She was really a pro, Lisy wondered, how many years of experience she has.
- How does it feel? - W-wonderful... ooh... - moans again, as the elf teases her sensitive part. - H-how do you do... this? - I have my ways. - suddenly stopped, then changed positions. - It's your turn, please show me, what do you know. - S-sure... - then they switched, and now the elf was under her. Lisy couldn't think more, then kissed her passionately, while gently massaged her chest. Cordelia moaned into the kiss, but didn't stopped Lisy. She even let her kissing over her body & doing more. She kept her eyes closed & gave herself to the pleasure.
***
An hour passed, both of them in their sweat, the girls cuddled tightly on the bed. Lisy stroked the elf's long, blue hair.
- Thanks. - broke the silence. - Now i know everything i need. - You're welcome. - whispered, still embracing her partner. - I should go soon, before the others notice i'm gone. - I understand. - then Cordelia let Lisy go to dress up, then the warrior opened her pouch.
- How much do i owe you? - Nothing. Don't pay... - Lisy looked at her in confusion. - Tonight you gave me something good, what is invaluable, and haven't experienced for so long. All my partners were... how can i say... kinda rough. - And you still do this... have you ever thought, to get a more proper job?
- My hunger for lust is endless. I can't soothe it easily. Since i was brought back from death, no one left me alone. I couldn't rest all day. Once we were done with the mission, every death knight took me away & lived out their desire on me. Later i started to enjoy & there was no going back.
- And have you ever thought, you may find your true love? - I don't believe in it anymore... please... just.. go, before i change my mind!
Had not to tell it twice, Lisy used her heartstone & a moment later she was at home again. She couldn't sleep at night. Her thoughts were around Cordelia... poor girl... she couldn't imagine, what disasters she had to endure & made her this. But she had to forget her, it was just only one time & no more... still, this 'first time' was... unique, and she had to admit, she really enjoyed her company. Then Lisy realized... she is also interested in her own gender... 'damn', thought.
***
One day. Only one day separated Lisy from her big day. Everything was set down. Her dress arrived around noon & placed in her private room. Once again, she & Anduin practiced their wedding-dance a few times, the invitations were sent weeks ago, the decorations are at their places. Everything was perfect. And Lisy's education was ended on the previous day.
She was ready to rule. She spent her free time with Lathya & her mother, ‘til nightfall. Before she went back to the Keep, she stopped at Lion's Rest. The warrior haven't visited her late mentor's memorial for a long time.
- Your Majesty... - whispered. - Wherever you are right now... watch over us... tomorrow, i'll take my vow to your son, and we will be one then. I only can promise to you, i will be always by his side, whenever he feels, the waves are about to collide over him. And i promise, that i'll try to be worthy to lead the Alliance with Anduin, whatever happens. I won't let him down, or may your fury curse upon me, if i fail!
Sad, that Varian couldn't be here in person... he would has be happy to see his son finding his other half & showing their love in front of the world. That would be perfect, but life had other plans. It wasn't the right time to grieve over the fallen, at least not now, since the whole city is excited for tomorrow's event.
Tomorrow... everything will change.

9. A court of manners & passion (part 2)
(author note: Lathya belongs to @lathyabloodmoonalpha)
Lisy knocked impatiently on her best friend's door.
- I'm coming! - then the door was open. - Oh, hey Lisy.
- Can i come in? I really have to tell you something!
Lathya nodded, then let her enter. They sat in the dining room, it was lunchtime, anyway. While Lisy seated, the drainei lady served her a plate of the food.
- So, what is it?
- Uhm... shall i say, or show?
- Show! - then the warrior held her left hand, to see the ring. Thya stared for seconds, then erupted into a squeal.
- When? And how? Oh Light, i'm so happy for you! And? When will you hold the wedding? And how many children you have?
- Hey, slow down, sloow doown! First, the bethoral ball is still under planning, and after Genn will prepares me for my new position, so i can't answer about your questions.
- At least can you tell me, how did he propose you?
Lisy took a deep breath.
- It was hella awkward... - then told the whole story.
- Oh, you. I can't imagine what would have happened, if you didn't let him explain.
- Possibly? Working under alias, in the middle of nowhere. - shrugged, then take another sip of her drink.
- By the way, will you wear something, for the ball?
- Anduin hired a tailor, so i was already measured for the dress. He didn't tell about it, he wanted as a suprise. Maybe i can get it on the pre-evening. Anyway, how 'bout you & Klooen? Are you okay guys?
- Absolutely. We once talked about starting a family.
- I guess you are a big-family-type. - then takes an another bite.
- Heh, you know me well! And your plans for the future?
- Dunno... i'm still young to take a new level. I can't even take responsibility for myself, nor for a baby. And that's just the iceberg's tip. Genn will never leave us, 'til i end up pregnant. Okay, he's just tries his best, to keep the bloodline up, but i think he goes a little far. Anyway, before i forget - hands a scroll to her. - Here's the invitation for the ball. I really want you & Klooen to attend & celebrate!
- We'll be there, sworn to the Light!
***
Days passed, the preparations went well, and finally the day has come.
Lisy was in her room, in the Keep, the maids prepared her to look impressive. Her hair was made into an elegant braid, plus a golden-leaf-like hairband was put on her head. After that, she was ready to dress into her gown, what Anduin requested from the tailors.
Looking in the mirror, she couldn't recognize herself. And the gown, marvelous. Darkblue satin, with matching gloves in the same color, and on the upper arm-part, golden scales was trimmed. Even she never liked to dress feminine, yet, she thought she was perfect, for a future queen.
The time has come. She left her quarters & headed to the throne-room. In the door, she waited, behind the curtain.
She observed the guests, luckily there were familiar faces, like the major Alliance leaders, her mother, even Lathya & her partner arrived. She searched for Anduin among the guests. Then noticed him, talking to some nobles. And of course Genn didn't left his side. Like a loyal dog.
The warrior snorted quietly of this metaphor, but no one heard, luckily the chatting was loud enough. Then Anduin silenced the crowd.
- People of the Alliance! First, i'm glad, that you have come tonight, to witness a reason i made. I would like to introduce someone, i've known for so long. Someone, who was always by my side, whatever happened. - Lisy listened, while the knots were tighter in her stomach. He will announce her within seconds, she must not mess up. - Ladies & gentleman, please, welcome the warrior, who conquered my heart... my best friend, my bethroted, and my future Queen... Lady Lisyndra Alayne Stonehart.
That's it! Lisy took a deep breath & stepped into the throne room. She walked through with grace & diginity. The guests looked at her with awe. She heard some compliments, meaning as a good sign. She stepped to the throne, next to Anduin & turned to the crowd, face with them. Lisy knew, she just couldn't stand there & say nothing, she prepared herself with a small speech.
- Dear attendants! I also welcome all of you, to our bethoral ball! Some of you know me, even just by my name! All i just wish, to put your trust in me in the future! I want to prove to be a worthy queen you wish for, like my late mother-in-law-to-be, Tiffin Wrynn was!
It seemed the crowd was impressed. They react with claps & congratulations.
- You impressed them, that's a new level. - Anduin whispered to her, while mingled around later.
- I was hella nervous, you know. And thanks for the dress, i haven't said this, but i love it!
- My love deserves the very best.
Lisy blushed.
- Shut up, i'm a little embarassed!
- You shoudn't, silly!
- I just didn't get any compliments, unlike other girls. - shrugged. They noticed Meredith, then approached her.
- Hey, mum!
- Lady Stonehart!
Meredith jolted up. She seemed spaced out.
- Oh sorry, i was a little distracted. - then observed her daughter better. - Oh my dear, such a radiance you are! Pity, that your father isn't here.
- Honestly, he really wanted to see me like this, but the difference, it was my choice, to be a little feminine, and not to be a doll forcibly dressed & paraded around.
- It wasn't his fault, that he was raised in a conservative ways. - then turned to Anduin. - Your Majesty! I wish all the best in the future, please take care of her!
- I can promise, that your daughter will be treated properly, as a woman should be treated. I still can't forget the last time, we talked...
- What happened? - Lisy was curious about.
- After the proposal practice, i immediately looked for your mother, to get her blessings, but...
- But what?
- It happened after you left a note & you were gone.
- Uhm... it was more like a rough conversation between a furious mother & a man-in-love. Not between a king & a citizen.
- I can imagine... - then Lisy grope a glass of wine, from a servant passing by. This wasn't bad at all. Pity she can't order beer, she prefered, than these fancy drinks. Maybe another time, if she'll have the chance to sneak away even just for a moment, but now, she is the lady of the hour.
***
A loud knock woke her up. 'Who is it again?', thought, as she tried to get herself together. After dressing up into her casual clothes, she stepped out of the room.
- Are you ready for your first lessons?
She sighed.
- The sooner, the better...

Syndruin-series ch.9/1
9. Court of manners & passion (part 1)
The night fell, as the couple arrived back in Stormwind. Poor gryphon was fell into a deep slumber, he haven't taken a long flying route, than before. For the night, Anduin offered a guest room for Lisy.
- Remind me, that i owe an apology for Taelia tomorrow.
- I owe you mine as well, for you.
- I already accepted minutes ago. So chill... - meanwhile they went to their quarters. Anduin led his beloved into the guest room, up in the tower.
- I hope you like it.
- My old room is not better than this, so, of course i like that. And whoever decorated, give him, or her a raise. I better off, for today, see ya. - kissed him, then before she fell asleep, she discovered her new room.
Not so ladylike, as Anduin knows her well, but some elements showed, that this room must fit for a ruler-to-be. She especially liked the Alliance-banner on the wall.
She checked the drawer at the window. Only a small book were in. Lisy opened up by curiousity, but the pages were blank. 'Ah, a journal', thought, maybe it will be handy in these days. Once she heard, writing journal is a good therapy, especially for those, who had traumas.
Later she changed into her sleepwear, then went to sleep. She fell asleep much faster, since this bed is more comfortable, than hers at home.
***
A soft knock woke her up in the next morning. The young warrior slowly got up & checked who's that.
- I need a moment! Let me dress up at first...
- But please, hurry, my dear! We need to discuss the ball's details!
After she get herself together, she left her room & joined Anduin, to have breakfast together, before they get down to business.
- Haven't you ever felt... it was just like yesterday, that i got lost in the corridors & bumped into you?
- Those times were great... we didn't needed to worry about major things, we were too young to understand.
- But you were already smart enough to realize, that Onyxia was suspicious as hell.
- Ehh, true.
After they finished eating, they headed to the council room, where the preparation-assembly was held. First, they checked the decorations.
- These looks good. What do you think, dear?
Lisy observed it. Blue organza garland with golden trim & ribbons.
- Hmm... very nice & the fabric was well-chosen, but somehow i see this still "empty". - she turns to the decorateur. - What if, at the edges we'd put... i don't know, any flowers, but in a different color?
- I see, what can i do with, Miss. - then he showed the next decor-element. A moment later the tailor asked Lisy to measure her, behind a screen.
- Is it neccessary? I mean, can't i wear my current clothing?
- It's a special occassion after all. I already designed a fine dress, just for you. You will love it, can you trust me?
Lisy hesitated, well, she never wore dresses, since she took back the control over her life. And how could she fight in skirt? No one knows, when will be an another ambush.
- Only for you!
- That's the spirit!
After she dressed back, she joined back to her beloved, finishing the preparations. An hour passed & all was settled down. After the assembly left, only him & her remained in the room. Lisy sat up on the table & pulled Anduin close to her.
- Just you & me, and hope no one will disturb us.
- Do you really want me so much, don't you?
- Why not?
- You are such a hopeless one, you know. - then pushed her back, then she laid under him, Lisy clasped her legs around his waist, and pulled him into a deep passionate kiss. They savored this moment for long, they haven't heard, someone entered & with a warning cough, interrupted.
- I don't want to bother this inappropriate moment, but - Anduin & Lisy looked to the voice in shock.
- Genn, we can explain... - Anduin spoke up, but he was silenced with a gesture.
- No need to, and i'm kinda disppointed. - the worgen king just glanced at Lisy, then lowered his gaze to her hand. He recognized the ring. - So your decision is made, right?
- I won't start an arguement, i chose her & my decision is done! You can say anything about her, but you don't know the rest! I had my reasons to propose Lisy. I love her with all my heart, and no other noble ladies worth, than her!
- Fine, i'll allow your choice... for as long as she makes you happy, but tell me, Lisyndra...
- ... Stonehart... - she gritted her teeth in answer. She felt, they won't get along well.
- Lisyndra Stonehart, then... i heard, you are very skilled with arms, got eyes for tactics, but do you know about decorum?
Lisy had to admit, then shook her head.
- Thought so. After the bethoral ball, you will start your studies, until the pre-evening of the wedding.
- How long shall i take this... one-person-class? - meanwhile she glanced at Anduin for help, when will their wedding shall be hold. He wasn't sure as well. - And what have i exactly need to learn?
- Etiquettes, manners, we'll teach you, how to behave, if a diplomacy meeting would happen, and of course, dance.
- Dance? - she frowned. - And for what?
- I think he meant our wedding dance we show at the reception... - Anduin finished the thought.
- ... Oh...
She thought, her engagement was heaven, but hell just knocked on her door.
“... Fuck...“

Whispers of jealousy (part 2)
She woke up in the Keep's room. Wait, how? She was supposed to go after the Horde. She got out of the bed & dressed up. She felt, she had to find Anduin. But no one was around. The palace was suspicously silent. In the distance, she heard the bells. The cathedral. Maybe she could find him there. A moment later she arrived & found him at the altar. As he turned, his expression was... different. Not joyous, whenever he sees her. He just glanced at her, with a confused look. But she didn't care. - Geez, at least leave me a note, where you are. I'm afraid i missed the mission. - It doesn't matter. Can we back to the part, where you broke the dress code? According to the traditions, only the bride is supposed to wear white. - What are you talking about? You didn't even propo.. - before she could finish the sentence, she looked down. She was in a wedding dress. Impossible, when she dressed up back then, those were her regular clothes. - Oh Lisy... i'm really sorry, but... Then she turned around. She saw Taelia, in the same dress, walking down the aisle. Lisy trembled. Taelia looked at her disappointly. - Tell me, it's just some joke. Even her mother was there. - My dear, how could you do this? Everyone gathered around her. - I even admired you & your deeds! And that's how you pay back? - Disgrace! Lisy backed slowly. - At least let me explain! I swear it wasn't on purpose! Shit, it must be a nightmare, someone... wake me!
She jolted up in sweat. The warrior still trembled, looking at her hands. Then looked around. She's at Nazjatar, Queen Azshara's territory. She got up, before falls back asleep & deal with an another nightmare.
- Oh, Lisyndra, you're awake! Are you ready to the final assault? - Y-yes, Lord Admiral! - then she stood up, stretched herself a little, then she joined the other champions.
***
They lost a few members, but good news: Azshara has been defeated. And the bad news: an Old God was accidentally freed. Lisy went back to Stormwind through a portal, to tell the bad news to Anduin. She ran to the Keep, like her life was at stake. - Anduin... Anduin! Bad news! - she almost tripped, but the king caught her. - Easy, or you'll hurt! What happened? - Well... shit happened... - then she told, what happened in the Eternal Palace. - That's not good. But first... i don't know, you heard, but Saurfang wants to meet us. Ah yes, she almost forgot. But she met him, when she, Jaina & Spymaster Shaw was sent to rescue Baine. It seems, the war is about to end. - And when will we go? And where? - The sooner, the better. Some soldiers went before us. They set the camp at Razor Hill. And the leaders are waiting for us around Northwatch Hold. Join me, please. - I... don't know...
Give up, little girl, you are not made to the each other.
It's happening again. Since N'Zoth is on the loose, the voices are louder in her head.
He will turn your back on you once. You always listened to his false promises.
"Shut up, get out of my head!!", ordered to her thoughts. In the end she'll go crazy. - Lisy... are you listening? - What? Where? N..no... i mean... just... spaced out... - So, i just asked, would you like to join me to the meeting point. - If it's not a problem, i'm in.
***
They have arrived, as fast as they could. Anduin went up the tower, while she waited at the entrance along the others. She tried to listen, what are they talkin about, but the rain supressed the voices. At least the fresh air cleans up her mind. These whispers are worse day by day. Maybe she needs to talk to Anduin, and an another burden comes off her shoulder. When they finish off Sylvanas, she will take her chance. Suddenly, the High Overlord & the King came out & ordered everyone to pack, they are moving forward. The trip was long, she took a rest, while they arrive. She wake up by the noise of the preparations. She saw some of them were sent to the back-gates of the Horde capital. She went to find Anduin. As she approached the tent, she heard him speaking with Alleria & Vereesa. So she just waited outside to give Saurfang's orders.
The conversation ended & heard them stepping out. - We are ready, everyone settled to their place! - It is time, then...
Backed by the combined armies of the Alliance and Horde, Varok Saurfang, Anduin, and Thrall approach the Gates of Orgrimmar. The final battalions of Stormwind soldiers march into position beside the Horde army and stop, silence now reigning over the battlefield. - Varok... it is time. Saurfang takes notice of Sylvanas's own army gathered atop the gates. - Those who defend Orgrimmar are Horde as well. Our brothers and sisters. Glancing off to the side, Thrall steps up closer to Saurfang's shoulder. - These warriors have sworn to fight. For you. Many lives will be lost. Having inclined his head to Thrall while listening, Saurfang returns his gaze to their brethren on the gate. - Or perhaps... just one. - then Saurfang steps towards the gates by himself and calls out. - Sylvanas Windrunner! I challenge... Mak'gora!
The gates open, and Sylvanas and a single Forsaken banner-carrier walk out to meet Saurfang. Sylvanas looks upon those gathered before her.
- A traitor leading traitors. Why should I accept your challenge?
- You want to make me suffer.
Lisy wondered how will it end. Knowing that banshee is unpredictable, the odds are uncertain. She saw Thrall & Anduin giving their weapons to Saurfang. Meanwhile a troll, Zekhan ran toward them, but Thrall stopped him. - Let it be finished.
Saurfang charges Sylvanas in an attempt to land the first blow with the axe, but she parries him and disarms him of it. She lands a number of hits on him, which leave shadowy wounds over his body. Saurfang falls to his knees as Sylvanas looms over him and taunts the orc before kneeling.
- ... Death comes old soldier. And all their hope dies with you. Saurfang and Zekhan exchange looks for a moment, the former with a ghost of a smile seemingly determined once more.
- You cannot kill hope. - gets up, then begins attacking Sylvanas once again, each consecutive blow of Shalamayne parried but his swings becoming stronger and more confidant.
Lisy were amazed, maybe there's indeed hope. After an increasingly irritated Sylvanas knocks him back from their blade lock, Saurfang spins away with Shalamayne at a low angle. Obscured by his body, he splits the sword into Shalla'tor and Ellemayne, and completing the spin, swings both back around at a high angle at her.
The first is intercepted with the right dagger, but Sylvanas is disarmed of it and the second successfully slices at her right eye, leaving behind a nick on the brow and cuts right through the lower eyelid. An upset Sylvanas visibly recoils from the attack. - The Horde... is NOTHING! The angrily barked last word echoes out that everyone can hear. Lisy gasped quietly. 'What the hell?', thought. Then why did she let Vol'Jin name her Warchief, if she thinks this? Before she could realize, Saurfang was killed by a dark magic, then she just fled away. She swore, that this won't go unpunished. Whatever it takes.
***
A day after, they were at home again & now they could focus the next threat. Magni alerted Anduin, that he will come with an advisor soon. - ... you mean to tell me, none of your spies have returned. N'Zoth is out there and we need answers now! - We are doing all we can. Speaker Magni is coming along with a new advisor. He claims to have informations for us. - Ugh... by the Light... a new advisor?! - Chill, dear. - she leaned close to him, whispering, then composed herself at Magni & the advisor's arrival. Hey, he seems familiar, it was... - Wrathion - Anduin muttered, then stood up & approached him. - Anduin, it's been so lon..- and suddenly an unexpected happened. The king, instead of a proper greet, he punched the Black Prince in the face. Lisy couldn't hold back her laughter, she just let out a loud snort. - Oh... dragons... - Heh, i suppose i deserved that. - Oh, you deserve more, than that! My father is DEAD, because of you! - And my father is dead, because of the Old Gods. Magni intervened the conversation, before it turns worse, later they took a walk in the courtyard. The news are really dire. Preparing an army won't help. N'Zoth will invade through their minds. Maybe that's what Lisy experienced for days. But she can't decide, can she believe, or all is false. She got her next mission, to help Magni & Wrathion. If it helps to brush her nightmares away, then let it be. They had a big problem. Time to fix it.

7. The situation is escalating (into the worse way) part 2
The army will leave at nightfall. If they calculated well, they reach Lordaeron's shores at dawn. Before depart, Lisy went home & had a lunch with her mother.
- My dear! Are you sure, you'll be okay? Your arm... - Anduin healed me fast. It doesn't hurt anymore. - said, as she took an another bite from the meat. - Mhhm! It's deicious! Maybe i'll take some, to eat something, 'til we arrive. If i stay with Anduin in the battle, i won't get hurt, i guess...
Meredith just listened, what her daughter was blabbing. Anduin this, Anduin that... she was truly in love with him. But will they have common future? She just want Lisy to be happy in life & doing well. She knew her well, if some noble girl takes her place, her heart will break into million pieces, and maybe she won't be healed of. She keep listened to, instead saying something bad.
After finishing lunch, Lisy helped her wash the dishes & packed some leftovers for her. Her armor was repaired already, her favourite sword was sharpened & ready to kill some Hordies. She headed to the harbor, where Anduin already was there, waiting for her. But something was weird to see... he was in a full armor. - Woooooooow! - whistled, as she approached him. - Who are you & what did you do with my king? - Funny, sweetheart! To be honest, i still need to get used to it. Shall we? - extends his arm. Lisy accepted & stepped together onto their ship. Feeling their hearts in their throat, they will face this battle bravely.
They were on halfway, and the sun was begin to set. The young warrior leaned to the railing, thinking about what she saw at Darkshore. She was deep in her thought, she didnt notice, that someone is beside her. - Enjoying the view? - she recognized the voice. - Uhm... just thinking. About everything... - I told you... you did your best. - the king squeezed her hands to soothe her pain away. Lisy leaned onto his shoulder, well if the pauldrons wouldn't be big, so instead, faced him. - I just still can't believe, how could Sylvanas do this. - Don't worry. If fortune is on our side, this battle will end this & she will answer for her crimes. You look too frustrated! Please... go to sleep! - then he kissed her deeply. - And i give the approval to rest in my cabin. Luckily Genn is in the Skyfire, so no one will interrupt. - As you command, Your Majesty! - bowed playfully, but took his advice. An hour later she fell into a deep slumber. Even she didn't feel, that later Anduin joined beside her. Even it was not appropriate, to let her into his bed before the right time, he didn't care for now. She belong to him now, just need time to make it official. When the war will be over, he will make his move. *** Lisy slowly opened her eyes. Did they arrived to Tirisfal already? Suddenly she realized, an arm rest on her waist. She turned slowly, to see, it is, what she thinks. Then she smiled gently. Anduin looked so peaceful in his sleep. She leaned to his face & kissed him, what made him waking up. - Mhhh... morning... - Morning to you too. Slept well? - Mhmh. What time is it, don't know? - Dunno... but better get ready. Maybe we arrived. - then she got out of the bed & dressed up into her armor. - I will wait outside, before someone see us.
Luckily no one saw her coming out from Anduin's cabin. While she waited, she took a sharpening stone for her sword. She will do her best, she will slay as many Hordies, as many night elf lost their life that day. *** The battle lasted for an hour. As she thought, Anduin stayed beside her, just like Varian anno on the Broken Shore. - Look out! - shouted, and beheaded an assasin behind Anduin. - Thanks Lisy! - Anytime. - then she glanced at Lorderon's gate. - What the...?
Suddenly some forsaken sprayed a strange green liquid. Anyone, who were near, immediately died. What happened after, Sylvanas used some dark magic & raised them as undeads. - Shit, she adds them into her ranks! - The blight is growing around! Fall back! Didn't need to say again, she ran away with the others. She could hear Anduin & Genn's corversation. - The blight has broken our ranks! - Our assault... has been for nothing... It seemed, they won't win this battle. Only a miracle would help. Then they heard a noise... from above? - What now? - growled the worgen king. Suddenly an enchanted ship appeared from the smoke. Only a powerful spell could do this... so it means... - Jaina? - Anduin was suprised of her sudden arrival. She immediately cast a spell, what made the blight gone. The way was clear. They have to get into the keep somehow. - Jaina! The walls! The mage immediately turned the ship, and the cannons shot arcane spells, what made the wall rumble. Lisy looked at Anduin, thinking the same. - We end this... now! - I'm ready as hell! *** They succeded to get into the center of the keep. They found Saurfang there, defeated. - Alliance! Hold! - No! I demand an honorable death! Lisy was a little suprised. The famous Varok Saurfang, just gives up easily? Anduin didn't give his request. - My father once said, that Varok Saurfang embodied the honor of the Horde. He admired you for that... and so do i.
Lisy kept listening. Anduin decided, that they will take Saurfang to Stormwind, lock into the Stockades. She saw Anduin, Genn, Alleria & Jaina walk to the throne room. She wanted to take a step, but Anduin shook his head. - For once, stay out of this! - But... - My order... you may be my lover, but here you're a soldier & i'm your king! Go back to the camp & be safe! - Yes... Your Majesty! - bowed shortly, then did, what he asked. She felt hurt a little, but she understood, he just want to protect her. *** BOOM! Lisy turned back by the noise! The whole keep is covered with blight. "Anduin! No!", she was panicking. She wanted to run back, maybe she can find him in time, but a few soldier held her back! - Miss, please, you may die! - I don't care! I have to save him! - the soldier's grip was strong. - Look up! Something is up ahead! She glanced up & saw Jaina's ship, then four people on the board. They made it out. She sighed in relief, but she was still in shock. But he won't get away with this. She demands answers about. *** - You. Could. Have. Died!!! - Lisy, calm down! - I AM CALM! - No, you're not. Luckily Jaina was there & teleported us out.
As she promised herself, she got Anduin & had a small talk. Lisy was still furious, what happened after the battle. But now, they had more important business. They need new allies, plus a fleet. And knowing the azerothi history, there's one nation, who has the biggest fleet ever. It was...
- Kul Tiras? You want to send me there? - As an ambassador, along Lady Proudmoore. We know, we have a grievous history since the former Lord Admiral, Daelin Proudmoore fell at Theramore. - No promise, but i'll try my best.
A moment later they joined in the throne room, where Genn, Jaina & Shaw was already there. - If I could bring Kul Tiras back into the Alliance... - Jaina, you're the reason they left the Alliance. - Genn was right about. Lisy just listened, she just heard stories, what happened in the past. - And dealing with that is the only hope we have of bringing them back. - I believe it is... and I believe you can. It will be difficult... and dangerous. While Jaina left, to prepare her ship, Lisy turned to Anduin, to say farewell again. - I already miss you. And don't die, while i'm off. - I won't, dear. - then kissed her passionately. - For you, i don't need to worry. You survived a lot, this will be an easy task as well. - Bet that. Okay, gotta go, i try to send a letter, how are things going!

Syndruin-series ch.7/1
The situation is escalating (into the worse way) part 1
- ... King Varian Wrynn gave his life to save his people! He knew, that no one, not even a king is more important, than the Alliance!
Today was the day, when the Burning Legion was defeated. Lisyndra was one of those champions, who volunteered to help the Army of Light on a distant planet, called Argus. Finally it was over, and she is still at recover. But she couldn't stay at home, while her love gives his speech. She stared at him with admiration. If the city would know, that she's the lucky bastard...
- ... These are the gifts of the fallen! And we must cherish, and celebrate them! For the Alliance!
- For the Alliance! - she shouted back, as the crowd erupted into cheer. She blew a kiss to him, and saw he smiled back to her. She was about to approach him, but Shaw & Greymane was faster. She had no choice, so went to the Keep, maybe she can catch him later.
***
- 'The hell is that? - pointed to the shiny stone, or whatever is that.
- And that's the million gold question. According to the SI:7's reports, a group of goblins started to mine it, since Sargeras wounded the planet at Silithus. The sword went too deep into Azeroth, that this ore came onto the surface.
- So no doubt, that Sylvanas was already told about.
- I think the same, like you. I'm afraid she will use this, and not in a good way. We must learn, what potential it has.
- And what now?
- For now... we wait, until the agents will bring any news. - he took a little break to gather his thoughts. Meanwhile they went to the Keep's garden, to take a little rest. - How's your arm?
- Throbbing, but a bit better. Those demons were quite a challenge.
- I'm afraid, even there's a little peace for now, another war will knock on our doors.
- So no rest, right? - she laid down in the grass, watching the clear sky. Anduin laid down beside her, in the opposite direstion, their head were beside the each other.
- I don't know. We can't know, when will the Horde make the first step. And knowing Sylvanas...
- Yea'... - then sits up. - Hey! Since we have now some time, before we would hear about any news, do you want to... maybe spent a little time... just you & me? Undisturbed?
- But you're still at... - before he finished his sentence, Lisy cut in.
- Like i give a fuck about the injuries... geez, you're a priest, use it!
- Okay, okay... how about, - pulls her close to him. - that i will carry you into my bedroom, and heal you faster?
- Ooooh, someone can't keep his cool. - smirks lustfully. - I'm in! But mark my words: if Genn dares to intervene, i won't hold myself back.
- He's much stronger than you.
- But not in a trash-talk. - winked. - So?
The king lift her up gently & took her to his bedroom. Lisy looked around in awe. It was long ago, she stepped in.
- It changed a lot, since my last visit. - said, as she sat onto the bed.
- As i grew, i needed to go along with. Alright, let me see your arm. - asked her, while he undid the bandage. It was still swollen, but almost recovered. Anduin gently massaged her arm, using his healing ability. Lisy felt, that the throbbing pain starts to fade. Their faces was an inch close to the other. She was about to lean for a kiss, when a knock interfered.
- Anduin! Are you in here? - Uh-oh. It was Genn.
- Shit! - murmured quietly, then she snuck under the bed, while the king talked to Genn.
- I thought for a second, you were taken away! Don't tell me, that you were with her again! - Lisy knew he talked about her.
- Genn, i told for a million times! She was there for me since i was a child. I just can't tell her good riddance for granted!
- She’s bringing a bad influence on you!
- And what if i want her by my side... as a Queen?
Lisy almost set out a gasp. Still listened to the conversation, 'til the worgen king left, then she crawled out from her hide.
- Whew! That was close. - whispered. - I better go, before someone notices me. 'Love you! - kissed him quickly, then she left by the window.
***
- Wait! Our reports were wrong! - suddenly Spymaster Shaw interrupted the council. - Just a moment, your Majesty! New information has come to light.
A few weeks passed, since this strange stone - Azerite, to be correct - came up onto the surface around the globe. Lisy finally fully recovered, standing in her armor, ready for the next step. Anduin invited her telling, what's her mission now. But the plan suddenly changed.
- ... the kaldorei forces already set sail for Silithus. Must be halfway there by now.
- So only civilans remained at Teldrassil & Darkshore? - asked the warrior.
- The only defenders still in the area are the Darnassian City Guard.
- I'm afraid it's still a few against the Horde army, right?
- Lisy, i'll want you, to go to Ashenvale, before the Horde approaches & find Captain Delaryn Summermoon! You may buy us time, while the kaldorei turns back on halfway.
Lisy nodded & in the portal chamber, she went on a shortcut.
***
It was hard to reach Darkshore's nothern part, since Horde forces prevented every steps. Half-exhausted, but she made it. Until Sylvanas intervened her helping Malfurion Stormrage after Saurfang's sudden assault. As she reached the shore, a terrible sight welcomed her.
Teldrassil... was in flames.
‘Why? What was that for?’ The young warrior collapsed in shock, trembled in rage. No... she HAS to help those night elves, who remained in the city. She hopped on a hyppogryph, as fast as she could, reached Darnassus.
Immediately ran into the temple, where Mia Greymane helped the others.
- Queen Greymane, the tree is burning, you shouldn't be here! - said.
- My child, i need your help! We must evacuate Darnassus, before it turns to ash. Please, do all, what you can.
Lisy nodded, then ran from house to house, leading the victims to the temple, where portals to Stormwind are already summoned. But as the minutes passed, she accidentally breathed the smoke in, she collapsed.
- ... can you hear me?
Lisy slowly sat up. She was in the temple again. Did she fail? Some of them escaped in time? Mia found her one of those houses. In time actually. There's no time, to go out again. The buildings are already collapsing. From the corner of her eyes, she saw Genn coming from a portal.
- Mia! MIA! Open your eyes, my queen... my love! You can't stay here any longer! We must escape through the portal!
- The tree... they're burning the tree! The child... save her. Leave... me... - the queen collapsed.
Genn didn't give up on her. He ordered the priest, to go with the survivors to Stormwind.
- They... will... not... go.
- The Banshee murdered my son. Stole my kingdom. She will not cost me my beloved! - then he picked her up, and went back.
After Lisy regained consciousness, and seeing, there's nothing more to do, with a heavy remorse, but she went back home... to her king.
***
- You have shown courage & heart, my dear. On this, one of the Alliance's darkest days.
- I failed... most of them died.
- Shh... - hugged her to comfort. - You did your best & i'm proud of you! My whole life, i have prayed for peace in this world. But that dream can never be realized so long as Sylvanas Windrunner leads the Horde. She expects this attrocity to crush our spirits. Shatter our unity. But this i vow... The Alliance will endure... and the Banshee Queen's insidious reign will be ended.
- Hah! Your father would be amazed, if he heard that now. - smirks.
- Bet that... anyway, sharpen your blade, repair your armor & ready for some action! We march on Lordaeron!
- Hell yea! I'm so ready for vengeance!

Syndruin-series ch6.
Now or never
(author note: the drainei lady, Lathya belongs to @lathyabloodmoonalpha this chapter’s half part based on an RP)
She can't wait more. Lisy had almost the chance to confess her feelings to his childhood best friend, who is now the High King of the Alliance.
After their little adventure on the Broken Shore (what was more suprising that Genn wasn't mad at all... luckily), his coronation's day arrived. And he insisted, that she must attend, at the first row to witness the whole event. Before the coronation, she had to check, what to wear, after all it was a formal event. But there was a small problem. She had nothing good to wear, just simple shirts, pants & her favourite-but-ragged-boots.
- Fuck, how can i attend to the coronation, if i don't have a proper clothing? I won't wear stupid dresses, nop, that's not me... - murmurs, while she checks her wardrobe. Then Meredith came in with a package.
- Someone sent this to you!
- And who? - she took the package.
- I didn't open it. But i have an idea, who could be...
- Okay, thanks, mum. - and Meredith went downstairs minding her business. Lisy opened up, and she couldn't believe her eyes. New cloth, and looks formal. Simple, but formal. A new greyish-brown pants, a brand new black thigh-high boots & a dark-blue gold-trimmed coat. And look, there's a lion-shaped embiodery on the backside! Well, no doubt, who sent this. After she dressed up, she checked herself in the mirror.
- Wow... that's more i like it. Okay, let's go, before i arrive late. - then was about to leave, until...
- Look at your hair! You can't leave like a fancy bird-nest. - then her mother led her back to her room. - Don't worry, i just want you look like more regal. - she took the brush & started to fix her hair. - I'm really suprised, that you let it grow, almost lenghts your waist. After she brushed it, she braided at last. And even Lisy let her do a makeover on her.
- Well, i must admit, i look really much better! I like this smokey-look! I'm off, dunno when i'll come back. - then ran to the Cathedral Square. Luckily she arrived in time, then she saw him.
- Thanks the new clothes! - greeted.
- You're welcome, you really earned it. And i like, how you look like neck up. Before i forgot, there's something else! - then he hands a purple sash with a silver lion-head shaped brooch. Lisy accepted it & with a little help, she put on.
- Fancy. - she had no bigger reaction, but indeed, the set is complete.
***
Weeks passed after the coronation, nothing special happened, except a nathrezim tried to assassinate Anduin, but suprisingly he handled well. When he told the story to Lisy, she just stared back with widened eyes.
- Holy fuck, that was awesome! I wish i could have seen it!
- Don't worry, i can be attacked anytime, so you may see it next time. - shrugged, while they walked to the docks.
- How long will you be away?
- I don't know! But i promise, i'll finish this quest as soon as possible. - for a farewell, she hugged him. - Before i forget, remind me, when i arrive back, i need to tell you something!
- I keep it in mind! Have a safe quest, i'll pray for you!
She smiled at him, as the boat started to leave the harbor, heading to Northrend for a check-up at Zul'Drak. Meanwhile she'll have enough time to prepare herself. It seems the time has come for confess.
***
Days passed since the depart. This quest was much harder, than she thought. At least no one died in. For a "reward", she stopped in Dalaran to take a rest... and have a drink of course. With a new friend. She seemed cold at first, but later she showed her gentle side.
Next morning, they were ready to go to Stormwind. Lisy's mother promised a fine lunch & Lathya can come along. Plus... for Lisy, she felt, that her time has come, to face her feelings. But how, when she feels her stomach knotted, anytime she just think of him? After lunch, the girls took a walk around the city, & asked the drainei for advices.
- Just remember what i told earlier, and everything goes smoothly!
- Uhm.... be myself? - but both of them knew, that if Lisy tries to being herself, is not meant in the best way.
- Not really, i wanted to say, just act naturally, humble. You'll have a good chance then.
- I can try... but no promises. Meanwhile, the bad feeling, what tormented her since yesterday, didn't fade. It became worse, as they headed back. They arrived to old town at dusk. Lisy saw two city guard stepping out from her home. If it is what she thinks... leaving Lathya behind, she bursted into the house.
- Mom! What happened? - then she saw Meredith sobbing. - Where's dad?
- He... i told him not to go, he was... old for that! - she couldn't stop the crying. - Orcs ambushed! The scouts didn't know this coming!
The woung warrior was shocked at the news. Even he was old for, he insisted to go. Lathya immediately went after them. Lisy hesitated, but she must stay to give an emotional support for her mother. After Meredith calmed down somehow, she went to sleep. Lisy stayed up a little. As she stepped into her room. She saw a paper in the window. A message.
"I heard what happened. Meet me at the Keep!"
This was the moment.
***
Lisy felt like in any minutes she may spit her lungs out, she ran as fast & quiet as she could, after all it was late night. As promised, Anduin waited at the Keep's entrance. The king embraced her, after she reached the stairs.
- I thought i won't see you today!
- I came as fast as i could, but in the same time, i didn't want to let my mom being alone, after what happened...
- Accept my condolences! I'm really sorry about. - then let her go. - You mentioned something last time. Told me to remind you. Ah, the confession, right? - Indeed, i dunno where to start, kind of a long story. Maybe since... ugh... fuck it! - frowned, then pulled him into a kiss. Anduin was a little suprised about, but... he just pulled her closer.
- I love you too. - murmured, after they separated to get breath.
- Eh, it was fucking awkward. I mean, what i did right now! Even it won't last for long. - the last sentence was quiet, as she said. He understood, why.
- No, it won't happen. My heart chose you already. I would never replace you for some high ranked. Remember what i asked you, when we were children?
- Uhm... let me think... - she knew what he meant. Be his queen? Tempting. Her dream would became true, showing their love to the world, but holds a lot of duty. Especially conceive heir, or heirs. Eww, no, please no! How would he react, if she just says, 'no babies'? Instant divorce... nobody wants a rebel queen, right? Sightly nodded to the question.
- I'm not sure how will i handle that... - but a sudden message interrupted her. Lathya was in trouble. - Shit... i have to go, a friend of mine needs help now. - turned to go, but Anduin grabbed her arm.
- Then i come with you! I need a skill testing, since you taught me some tricks.
- Alright, then.
***
A few days later Lisyndra's father was buried in the city's cementery. Beside her & Meredith, Aiden's former friends attended, Lathya with her beloved, plus Anduin also came to give his respects.
- Thanks for coming. - whispered to them. Their presence comforted her.
- What are friends for? Just let us know, if you need something! - said Lathya back. Lisy nodded as an answer. During the ceremony, she felt a little guilt. Her relationship with her father was... complicated. After she stood for herself, she felt she just crossed the line. She didn't understand what was that obsession of forbidding her almost everything. What did she ever do? Or did something happen before her birth? She needs answers!
After the funeral, the group went to the Stonehart house for a vigil. Lisy & Anduin stayed behind. They took a quick visit to Tiffin's grave, before joining to the others.
- I'm just... glad, that you remained beside me. Back in those days, i couldn't make any friends. - said Anduin breaking the silence. - If we never met...
- Well, meeting would had happened, but not as a child, if i let my parents control my life. Or... i don't know...
- But you stayed loyal for yourself, that's what i love about you!
- But what if you need get married by political reasons?
- I told, and i hope it will never happen! Besides, a crown would fit very well on your head, and you don't need to wear gowns all the time. Like i told when we were younger.
A moment later, they arrived back to Lisy's place. Some guests already left, but the house wasn't empty yet. As the evening has arrived, everyone went home. Anduin stayed a bit longer, they just talked about what happened, about their little vengeace attack. Soon Lisy felt sleepy, Anduin escorted her upstairs, then gave her a goodnight kiss.
- Let me know, if you want to see me next time!

Syndruin-series ch.5
The Legion-events
The day has come. The biggest enemy appeared on Azeroth… the Burning Legion. It was just like yesterday, what happened in Pandaria. „don’t die… not here… not now… I… I love you…”. Lisyndra sighed. A few years passed & still didn’t confess her feelings to him. She wished she’d do that before she left for the Broken Isles. But it’s too late. And she may die, if she won’t watch her back. A smooth rumbling dragged her back to the reality. They are almost there. She went to the upper deck to check the area.
- What the… - she couldn’t believe her eyes. Underneath, there were a bunch of demons… more than the Alliance & Horde armies together. She joined at the others by the shore.
- Your Majesty! I was worried, you can’t make it. – she greeted King Varian.
- I’m fine, kid. Are you sure, that you can fight against them? – asked her with some worriness in his tone.
- Honestly, i feel nervous, but if my goal is being a legendary champion of the Alliance, this way is one of them. – said the young warrior, then she noticed, that Varian pats her shoulder.
- Just stay close to me, and you’ll be fine! That would be a shame, if my son loses a someone special.
- We are best friends, nothing more… yet. – said, while they fought the demons. After the path was clear, the troops headed into the center of the isle.
So much horror, so much loss, The friends she made among the soldiers, they fell before her just like a blink of an eye. Tirion Fordring, he deserved much better, than this torture, what that abomination, named Gul’dan did. But there was much worse, she never expect, not even in her worst nightmares. Honestly, it went well, when the Horde held the skyline, while the Alliance took the grounds, until…
- That damned wench… - growled, when a horn sounds - and the Forsaken archers fall back from the ridge.
- I knew it! I knew, we couldn’t trust her! Without the Horde, we'll be overrun! We must retreat!
The King ordered to fall back, she climbed back to the Skyfire, along the other survivors. But Gul’dan didn’t just let them escape easily, so he summoned a giant fel-reaver, holding the gunship back. Lisy tied herself quickly to the railing, before she falls back into the demon-pit. „Where’s Varian?”, thought. The ship tilts almost 90 degrees as the fel reaver drags it towards the ground. Mekkatorque grabs the opposite railing and saves one man by the cape, but many other Stormwind soldiers are seen falling off the ship. Closing his eyes for a moment, Varian makes a decision…
***
He made it, then. He gave his life for the others & for her life.
It rained, when the survivors returned to Stormwind. The young warrior girl was still in shock, she still didn't digest what just happened hours ago. How can she even face Anduin with this news? How would he react? Instead of going toward the Keep, she went home to Old Town. She saw silhouettes through the window, so it meant they are at home. She entered.
- Lisy?
***
It was almost sunset, when she woke up. Damn, did she just... faint, as she entered in? She eavesdropped, maybe her parents are still up. But not. Walking out quietly won't be a good option, her armor might make noise, so she snuck out through the window & headed to the Keep. And she had to see him, since Genn asked her to give Varian's letter. The knots in her stomach didn't want to loose, as she approached her destination. She had to face him, there's no escape from.
- King Anduin is at Lion's Rest, if you're looking for him. - said the guard at the entrance.
- Thanks ma'am. - then she changed direction. The place, where the city's park was here originally, where she used to love to play, when she was a child. Until Deathwing came & destroyed. Luckily there was much prettier sight being built there. And now, it's a memorial. Time flies so fast.
He was there, alone. Poor boy, first his mother, now he lost his father. And became King so young... twice, if we see it technically. She approached him slowly, her heart beat too fast. Then Anduin turned around.
- Ah, Lisy... - but before he could finish the sentence, his friend hugged him tightly sobbing.
- It's all... my fault... i-i'm really sorry...
- Shhh, it's okay, you’re here, and that’s all matters! - even he was upset about the bad news, deep down he was glad, she survived at last. What happened at Broken Shore... shook the whole world.
***
-few weeks later-
After closing the Tomb of Sargeras, Lisy wandered around the shore without any purpose. Before she realised, she took a boat, what was tied at, she paddled to the sea just to be alone. But she couldn't rest. She noticed a shining object... deep under her. What could be? Led by her curiousity, she jumped into the water & swam down fast, as long as she could hold her breath. Then she examined the mysterious object closer. It was... Varian's old compass, what Anduin gave him years ago. If she brings back to him... what could go wrong?
- ... You brought this melancholy upon him! You must convince the boy to resume his duties. There's a war to be won!
Geez! She didn't see that coming! Why she should be blamed for it? Rolling her eyes, she rode to the Cathedral to find him. Yep, he was there, at the altar.
- Hey... - she approached him.
- Oh, just you - he sighed. - Was it Genn, right? - for answer she nodded.
- He blames me for all. I mean, since you got the compass back, you avoid everything. You are totes depressed! Look, I miss him too, he was my mentor, role model etc., i even saw his de-... i mean, what happened there, that's a trauma!
He stood in silence before her. After a few seconds he spoke up.
- My father was a legend. He oversaw the rebuilding of Stormwind, stood toe-to-toe with dragons, led the Alliance to numerous victories. Then, one day, he was just... gone. I wear his crown, I hold his title. But I've done nothing to earn them... or the faith of my people. I've spent the war sequestered in the keep, surrounded by guards and advisors. I need to walk the streets of Stormwind, to know whether it is hope or fear that beats in the hearts of my people. I welcome your company.
- Then what are we waiting for? - she smiled gently. - We haven't wandered around for years.
- I just need a disguise, give me a moment.
A moment later she & Anduin (wearing some commoner-clothing) left the Cathedral & while walking around the city, they had a chance to eavesdrop, what the citizen are thinking.
- I have not returned to Lion's Rest, since my father's memorial was moved here from the Keep. The war has consumed all of my energy and attention. I have not had a moment to grieve. - said, as they reached Varian's memorial. - Since you brought my father's compass back to me, i've prayed to the Light for guidance, and to know his spirit is at rest. The Light doesn't answer... My people like me, respect me... but they don't believe in me. Not like they believed in him.
It's not true. What about me? I believe in you, and i don't say it because i pity you! You are my best friend, even we had a rough era once, but i'd never turn my back against you. You are important to me, you are... fuck, i'm in love with you Anduin, since the pandaren campaign, but i know you can't love me back, or they forbid it, 'cuz you need a more proper woman as your wife, and you even need a heir much later, what i cannot grant for some reasons... I have no rights to "steal" you from other suitors, but if i'd see you with another woman, it might break my heart.
But Lisy didn't say anything, just squeezed his hand encouraging him. It's not the right time to confess.
- And what about me? I got your back, remember? Have some faith in yourself! I know you'll be as a great king as your father was.
- Thanks, Lisy. - for a quick moment he smiled at her lightly. - I can't imagine, if you're not here around.
- Maybe getting lost in the Keep anno was fate.
- As you mentioned, let's go back. I've heard the voice of the people, but how do my father's advisors feel? I fear they do not trust me, as they did my father.
***
A little later they snuck out to the Broken Shore. Back in Stormwind, they eavesdropped Velen & Genn conversation. They were right. Anduin doesn't even know, what really happened here. So she encouraged him to come here & face everything.
- This land is far worse than i imagined... My father sought to shield me from the war, insisting I stay behind, because a Wrynn must always rule in Stormwind. But i saw the truth in his eyes... his fear of losing me.
- After your mother's passing, only you remained for him. Of course he didn't want to lose you. - she answered, while they went on horseback, reaching the tomb, where... well, yea. - Shit, coming back here, again... You know i even had friends in the army, i got along well... and just a few of us survived, including me. I felt useless, i couldn't do anything to save them.
- Please, don't say that. You are not like what you're thinking yourself. I've never known a stubborn & strong fighter like you. - meanwhile they left their horses behind at a safe spot, then continued their trip by walking. It didn't take much longer, 'til they arrived to Wrynnfall. - So don't let these thought overwhelm you! For me... please. - then suddenly he embraced her. The young warrior's heart beat fast, but embraced him back. It felt... so good to her. She lifted her head, there were some lust in her eyes. Maybe this is the moment, she longs for awhile?
- I... uhm... thanks. Maybe that's all i needed after all. - then she glanced to their destination. - Are you sure you're ready to see this?
- Just take me there, i must see for myself!
