Valta (VNN) - The royal press office released a new official portrait of the Queen in celebration of her birthday today. The photograph, taken in the autumn ballroom, features the monarch appropriately dressed in her preferred blue with the badge of the north star on her chest and Queen Tuuli's Crown atop her head.

Father Aalto: “I should be thanking you. It was our discussion earlier this week that lead me to think of it. Miss Lumi, I must say I was sorry to see that your husband did not accompany you today.”

Sylvia: “Oh my brother in law is back home in Viridis. Some family business I think, there’s been a lot of trouble there lately.” 

Lumi: “Also he’s a pagan.”  

Sylvia: “Yeah... but he’s not THAT observant.”

Sakki: "It's the only way I feel like I'll get a shot have having any sense of a 'normal' experience."

Sylvia: "I think you underestimate the interest you'd get in a foreign country as a future king."

Sakki: "They won't let me join the drama club!"

Father Aalto: "For today's reading we will be opening up to the second chapter of the book of Jacob. In verse twelve we join the great profit in one of his darkest times. When doubt about his mission was at its weakest. When he wasn't sure the Watcher was with him.

We all have such times do we not? When we get tied up in our own thoughts and desires and the poison of doubt falls upon our mind like a disease? There is no shame in it, it is only natural but we cannot fall into the trap of wallowing in it. The Watcher chooses each of our paths for a reason. Even if we do not feel it is right, we must have faith and stay the course."

Sylvia: "Thank you for coming with me today, I know I promised to keep these events to a minimum until you graduated but I felt this one was important."

Sakki: "No problem at all, I am tired of studying anyway. I don't think I'll have any issues with my exams."

Sylvia: "Well that's great to hear! And to think you didn't even want to go to Valta U but you seem to be thriving now!"

Sakki: "I wouldn't say I'm thriving but it's fine enough."

Valta (VNN) - In celebration of national labor month, the Queen, Crown Prince Sakki, and President Antilla met with Union leaders to tour the updated facilities at the Suviamaa Heritage Center.

The new displays include pottery shards from the earliest settlements in the country, artwork from Suvia's most honored creatives, and statues that depict the great leaders of the 19th century fight for labor rights.

The national museum has been undergoing renovations for close to two years with extensive funding from the royal coffers but will be finally opening it's doors to the public later this week.
