z nation tumblr, i need your help.

so a few days ago, my friend was kind enough to give me one of the bracelets that was sold at the liquidation sale for my graduation gift. the bracelet was worn by addy in the show, but i cant find which episode it was worn in. if anyone knows when she wore this or could help figure it out, it would be greatly appreciated!

Miss President.

Prompt: George is...well. And Y/N has always helped George with her speaks, and can’t stop calling George Miss President, but maybe calling Y/N a friend wasn’t a good idea. 

Warnings: swears... well one. 

You stood outside, the wind lightly blowing past your hair, brushing it with it’s fingers. Your hands in your pockets, staring up at the sky. It had just passed and you could hear the other cheering. “Not in a celebrating mood?” I turned to face Murphy as he sat on the grass. “Just thinking about the ones we lost to get her.” You told him. He nodded and you turned back to the sky. You missed her everyday, You couldn’t really blame anyone, it just happened. Sarge blow herself up and you never told her the truth. But part of you knew that Sarge only had eyes for 10k.

You stared up the clear sky and smiled. It was a new day and Talker were seen as people now. You were happy about all of it, at peace. You pulled on you jacket and turned around. You can face to face the building, but you stopped yourself. George would be too busy to talk to now. You sighed and looked back at Murphy. “What are you doing out here?” You asked him. “Going to have a picnic… it none of your business.” He told you and you sighed. “I was being nice, but whatever.” I told him.

You slowly opened the door and looked around. “Have you seen Murphy?” Warren asked me. “He’s out there.” Addy said and the two of them when outside. I walked past Doc and 10k and saw George standing there, with a smile on her face. “Good to see Y/N.” She said down to you. “Good to see you too Miss President.” She said back up to her. She smiled down at you, before dropping her head. You watched as she walked down the stairs and stopped in front of you. “You missed my speech.” She said to you and you smiled. “I know you did great. I did get to hear it about a million.” You told her and she kept smiling at you. “It would have been nice to have a friendly face.” She said and you stared. “You have a bunch of friendly faces.” You told her and she sighed.

“It would have been nice to have a face that knew what I was going to say.” She said and you blinked a few times. “Did Miss President mess up?” You teased and she smiled again at you. “Almost.” She said and he laughed. “Almost, what do you mean, almost?” You asked. “You should have been there.” She said back to you. “Alright. Next speech I won’t miss.” You told her, holding up your hand and she smiled at you. “Thank you.” She said to you. “That being said, you can’t drag me to every speak. I love you, but not that much.” You said and she blinked at you a few times. “What?” You asked her. “Nothing.” She said. There was a moment of silence between you two. “But you will help with the next one?” She asked and you smiled at her. “Of cause… what kind of person would I be if I turned down Miss President?” You asked her. You watched ash rubbed the back of her head. “George.” You both turned to face a young man. “I’ll leave you to it.” You said to her, before walking away.

You slowly walked into the rebuilt room and looked around. You could remember the smoke, the ashes in the air, the Talker and Zs raising up. You shake your head and saw George sitting at a table. She was biting her pencil and she kept rereading what you had down. You took the set next to her, but she didn’t look up at you. “You know, you might want the eraser.” You said joking. She looked up at you and you saw a quick smile. You could see the smile fade and you sighed. “What? What is it? What’s wrong?” You asked her. She quickly got up and took your hand. George pulled you down the hallway and stopped in her office. The office she hated.  

“George what is it?” You asked her again as she closed the door. “I have to write another speak and I think I got it down. I just don’t want others to hear it.” She told you and you shake your head at her. “Ok. Well I’m here to listen.” You told her as you took a seat. this is weird, why would she care if others hear the speak?  “You’re a good friend Y/N.” She said and you smiled up at her, but inside you were screaming. Why? You sat there and listened to everything she said, but you mind kept going back to those two words.

It was late when you two stopped and you gave her a small smile. “How was that?” She asked you. “That was good.” You told her. She sighed and you just stared at her. “Thanks Y/n.” She said to you. “You’re welcome.” You told her as you got up.  “Good night George.” You said to her. She stared at you and looked slightly sad. “Good night Y/N.” She said, closing the door behind you. You walked down the hall before you stopped and turned to look back at George. She was walking away, her pencil and paper in her one hand. You sighed and walked back to your room.  

You laid there, holding you pillow. First the apocalypse, then your family, then Sarge and now George. You smother you pillow on your face as you groaned. How could you let this happen again. You told yourself after Sarge, you won’t get close to anybody, but George was there. She kept worming her way into your life. And then when she lost Dante, you were there to whip the tears. You thought Miss President was different, different from the others… well she was alive, but it felt like she just blow a bomb up in your heart.

You dropped the pillow back down, hitting your lap. There was a knock at your door and you looked up at the door. You got up and opened the door. You bent your head to look out the opening. It was George, she had done the same with her head. You noticed she was playing with her hands. She was nervous. “George… what’s up?” You asked her. She sighed and looked you in the eyes. Those deep brown eyes of hers staring at you. “May I come in?’ She asked you. You took a step back and let her in. You closed the door and turned to face her. “What’s up Miss President.” You said and she stared at you.

“I don’t want to be friends.” She said and you stared at her. “Oh, I see.” You said, before you looked down at the floor of your room. “I’m sorry if I’ve upset you George.” You started. You felt hands on your shoulders.  “You haven’t upset me, Y/N. I-- actually came here to ask a question.” You looked up at George. First she doesn't want to friends then she wants to ask you a question. You were hoping this was a nightmare right now. You let out a slight sigh and looked back to the floor.

“I was hoping you’d be my first lady.” George said and you looked up at her. “Pardon?” You asked her. “I’m asking if you’d go out with me.” George said and you stared at her. “You’re not joking?” you asked her and she shook her head. A huge smile was plastered all over you face you nodded. You felt her hands come up to your face and you up at her. She pulled you closer to her, and you lip brushed over each other. “Can I kiss you?” She whispered and you nodded. George pushed her lips on your and tried not to smile too much in the kiss.

She pulled away and you looked at her. “That was--” “ Ya.” You both stared at each other, breathing. “Wanna do it again?” She asked. “Anything for you miss President.” You said to her. She laughed at you and started to laugh with her.

Here is the FINAL MERCY doc Kaya found.

BACKGROUND: The ZN1 Virus was first [REDACTED] United States, [REDACTED] "Black Summer" [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] , [REDACTED] was [REDACTED] that only 8 countries reported any "human" life, while most were over-run by the [REDACTED].”

So FINAL MERCY is another possible Reset/Black Rain. This doc is major because it gives us some world lore of the Z Nation universe. Only 8 countries in the world have “human” life in them while all the other countries went to shit. Out of all 193 countries in the world (official number by The United Nations) ONLY 8 “SURVIVED” THE APOCALYPSE. 

Some shit when down during Black Summer that probably helped the people behind this come up with the FINAL MERCY.

But one of my main questions is:

If they plan to create this utopian zombie virus free world, what about the Talkers involved in this whole thing? (Looking at you Pandora you don’t fool me) Are they being fooled? Or is this another bullshit human supremacy thing?

You’d think the apocalypse would only last an instant. For a lucky few, it’s been the past five years of our lives. Steeping yourself in the end of days, especially as blood soaked and zombie filled as the time has been, can be hazardous.  Luckily being surrounded by some of the most incredibly kind, talented, driven and selfless people that the entertainment industry has to offer has made surviving the past five years some of the most rewarding, enriching, exhausting, and enjoyable time I’ve been able to spend in my professional life so far. Z Nation was equal parts the hardest job I’ve ever had, and the easiest job to get up and go to every morning that I ever could have asked for. 

Working with this crew, calling Spokane my home away from home has been an incredible privilege, and one I will never take for granted. Spokane is a filmmakers dream nestled in the pacific north west, full of incredible locations, and the kindest, hardest working crewfolk i’ve ever been staffed alongside. I cannot wait to see what brings us up there next. I owe every single cast member, and every single crew person an immeasurable debt of gratitude for the kindness they showed me, and the support they gave an eager and panicky industry kid who was trying to prove his value amongst a group of artists who showed that there’s no option in this industry aside from bringing your A game every day, no matter how long the hours were or how chaotic the world around us was. 

Z Nation has been my home, my family, and my happy place since the first day I walked onto the set in 2013, camera in hand, head rattling with ideas of how we could end the world next. I can’t say enough how much I owe those who offered me guidance along the way, and truly cannot share my pride for the work we’ve done enough, every campy, murderous, maniacal frame of Grade A / B Horror Zombpocalypse nonsense demonstrates to those watching a legacy of people who made killer work, no matter the circumstances, and always whilst enjoying ourselves so thoroughly that even strangers watching the show can tell how much fun we we’re having on any given day. 

Some days were hard, some days were simple, but every single one was satisfying, and in the end, always worth what we put into it. I’m going to miss our little apocalypse, but cannot wait to see what’s next down the pipe. It was the end of the world as we knew it, and I’m feelin fine.

Z Nation Recap (Spoilers To Come)

Okay, so as you might remember, Warren was brainwashed by Zona to bring about project Black Rainbow, Which was a fourth strike attack put in place to wipe out all life in America, so Zona could rise and retake the world...

Well, Warren got wise, tried to stop it, blew up in a plane (which seemed to cause Black Rainbow anyway) and got separated from the group. She wakes up, with OG black hair and by a farm house. She’s taken in by a handsome farm man name Cooper and they umm 😐 get it on.

Mean while back at the ranch or the truck, the group is still on their way to Newmerica and they have taken in a few other people for the journey (these people look like they’re knocking on death’s door)

Murphy has had enough of babysitting these dying Survivors and splits away from the group to find Warren. Doc, 10k & SGT make it to Newmerica with their group only to meet George the soon to be leader of Newmerica who tells them their traveling companions are dead.

It seems Black Rainbow has infected the population and now when you die you become a talker, an odd stage between a Z and a human. You must consume brains to remain closer to human than Z.

That was your short Z Nation rundown. I’m loving this season so far, Episode one was great and Two was AMAZING!
