can this be true? not just a single budding relationship caught on camera this week, but two? actress on the rise, sydney sweeney, and former boy band member turned solo artist, louis tomlinson, were spotted out and about, holding hands and looking mighty close. the outing seemed to be a simple coffee date, with the two entering and exiting hand in hand. there must be something in the water in los angeles these days... or maybe it's just the end of summer blues causing our celebrities to reach for any tiny boost of serotonin. time will tell. @sydbswccncy @loutommox

i know i've been the worst and i sort of turned into casper the last couple of weeks, but i promise it wasn't on purpose. work has been keeping me pretty busy lately, and when i'm not working i'm sleeping. i've become the most boring version of myself. how is filming going? or have you even started that yet? @sydbswccncy

that's the harsh reality of this industry, though. everyone just likes to think i'm a pretty face and that's how i get roles, but it really doesn't work like that either. it gives you fuel to start proving people wrong, but at the same time, i started giving less of a care to the public's opinion about me. how was surfing?

the amount of people who underestimate me is honestly astounding. i posted a video of me surfing on my insta and the comments were crazy! though i will admit i do love the fact that there was one that asked if there was anything i couldn't do. i swear people really do just see my face and assume that's all there is to me. i feel like i should be offended but it is fun to surprise them. @reputationsstarters

the sound of tiny paws on hardwood floors could be heard bouncing from room to room as glen scrambled to tidy up any minor imperfections he could find. he wasn't the messiest guy by any means, but with sydney due to arrive at any second, he didn't want her thinking otherwise. her opinion of him was one he held to the highest standard, even though he was more than aware that he hadn't given her a reason to think so highly of him. their relationship from the start had been a complicated one. one rooted in secrecy and betrayal on both their parts, but besides all of that he cared very deeply for her. more than he probably should have.

with a few final adjustments made around the house and a few throw pillows being moved to opposite ends of the couch, he caught a glimpse of headlights pulling into his driveway. they had agreed not to meet at the airport in a selfish attempt to keep the rumors at bay, so instead he had paid for a car to pick her up and drop her off. it was the least he could do since he couldn't be there himself.

on his way towards the door he was met with little paws clawing at the back of his legs, prompting him to bend down and scoop brisket up into his arms, scratching gently behind her ears. "i got a special surprise for you." he waited a minute or two before he opened the door, the sound of a trunk slam telling him that her bags had been unloaded and she was on her way towards the front door. as he pulled open one side of the double front door, the smile on his face widened the second he saw her. "hello beautiful," he met her with a kiss to her cheek, before taking her bags from her with his free hand. "come inside." he gave a nod towards the driver before he led her inside. "how was your flight?" @sydbswccncy
