@ericcolsen - One of the most magical days in Gstaad. The pool of Winter's dreams. A room with views of the Bernese mountains. Absolutely stunning Swiss design. A gym I could live in. Moto Adventures high in the mountains. A 300 year old farm. Cheese handmade by a married couple that have been working together for 37 years. Maybe the most amazing playground and petting zoo I've ever seen, maintained by 53 people with health conditions, impairments and/or learning differences. They live on the property and also build arts and crafts and help in the shop and cafe. What a staggering example of giving purpose and identity in something so compelling. The beauty of the place is a reflection of the beauty of the people. I celebrate all of this. #inlovewithswitzerland #myswitzerland

Domodossola - Crevoladossola - Iselle - Simplonpass - Ried-Brig - Brigerbad
75 km
Einen wunderschönen guten Morgen Domodossola ☀️
Endlich Sommer!
Was tun... ?
BuDer Kellner: „Buongiorno, Primi-Piatti: Penne o Spaghetti pomodoro, all’arrabbiata, aglio-olio.. Secondi piatti Scaloppini........... STOPP!.. 💞
Allora solo Primi-piatti... E l’acqua... e rosato. Tutto bene e buono...
Baustellen, Menschen, welche Smpeln ersetzten, Ampeln, Arbeitsverkehr, Touristen, Baustellen, Fahrradwege, Mofa Verbote, wieder Baustellen, etc...
.... Wir sind bereit für morgen.. Ihr auch?

The Ultimate Guide to Luxury Men's Clothing: Quality, Style, and Sophistication
Introduction
In the realm of men's fashion, luxury clothing represents the epitome of sartorial excellence. Crafted from the finest materials, meticulously tailored, and boasting timeless designs, luxury clothes for men exude an air of sophistication and refinement that is unmatched by their mass-produced counterparts. In this comprehensive guide, we will explore the world of luxury men's clothing, covering everything from the key pieces to the top brands and essential styling tips.
Understanding Luxury Men's Clothing
Luxury clothes for men goes beyond mere garments—it's an experience in quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. From the moment you slip into a well-tailored suit or don a sumptuously soft cashmere sweater, you'll understand why luxury clothing holds such allure for discerning gentlemen. With its emphasis on superior materials, precise construction, and timeless design, luxury men's clothing offers a level of refinement and sophistication that transcends fleeting trends and fads.
Key Pieces of Luxury Men's Clothing
When it comes to building a wardrobe of luxury men's clothing, there are several key pieces that every stylish gentleman should consider investing in:
1. Tailored Suits: A well-tailored suit is the foundation of a sophisticated wardrobe. Invest in a bespoke or made-to-measure suit crafted from the finest wool or silk fabrics, and ensure that it fits you perfectly. Classic colors such as navy, charcoal, and gray are timeless choices that will never go out of style.
2. Cashmere Sweaters: Few fabrics epitomize luxury like cashmere. Invest in a few high-quality cashmere sweaters in classic colors such as navy, gray, and burgundy. These versatile pieces can be worn on their own or layered under a jacket for added warmth and style.
3. Leather Jackets: A leather jacket is a timeless wardrobe staple that adds an instant edge to any outfit. Invest in a high-quality leather jacket crafted from supple, buttery-soft leather and featuring classic details such as a moto or bomber silhouette. A well-made leather jacket will only get better with age, developing a rich patina and character over time.
4. Dress Shirts: A collection of well-fitting dress shirts is essential for any man's wardrobe. Invest in high-quality dress shirts crafted from luxurious fabrics such as Egyptian cotton or silk. Look for classic colors and patterns such as white, blue, and pinstripes, and ensure that the shirts fit you perfectly for a polished and sophisticated look.
5. Luxury Watches: A luxury watch is the ultimate accessory for the modern gentleman. Invest in a timepiece from a renowned Swiss or German watchmaker, such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, or Audemars Piguet. A luxury watch not only adds a touch of elegance to your outfit but also serves as a timeless heirloom that can be passed down for generations.
Top Luxury Men's Clothing Brands
When it comes to luxury men's clothing, there are several brands that stand out for their commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and style. Some of the top luxury men's clothing brands include:
1. Ermenegildo Zegna: Known for its impeccable tailoring and luxurious fabrics, Ermenegildo Zegna is synonymous with Italian craftsmanship and elegance. From tailored suits to casual sportswear, Zegna offers a wide range of luxury clothing for the modern gentleman.

Opt for classic, timeless pieces that will never go out of style, and focus on creating a cohesive and polished look that reflects your personal style and sophistication.
Conclusion
In conclusion, luxury men's clothing offers a level of quality, style, and sophistication that is unmatched by mass-produced garments. From tailored suits to cashmere sweaters, leather jackets to luxury watches, investing in key pieces of luxury clothing can elevate your wardrobe and enhance your personal style. Portugal’s customised Dax ‘Furiosa’ named as the 2023 Honda Customs winner
The ‘post-apocalyptic’ Dax ‘Furiosa’ created by the Portuguese pairing of young artist Tamara Alves (@tamara_aalves) and bike builders at the Art of Wheels Garage (@artonwheelsgarage) has been crowned this year’s Honda Customs winner. Receiving 34% of the total of 15,924 votes, Furiosa was victorious over six other custom European mini-bikes and follows in the footsteps of previous Honda Customs winners: Italian custom house Motocicli Audaci’s customised Rebel ‘Maanboard’, Portuguese Honda dealer Mototrofa’s ‘Fenix’ - a take on the CB650R, and the ‘CB100R Africa Four’ by Swiss Honda dealer Brivemo Motos. Inspired by the world of post-apocalyptic movies, Furiosa features block tyres, a wolf motif, graffiti signatures, bespoke exhaust with wire mesh cage, and glimpses of tartan peeping out of the scorched seat cover. The classy and graceful ‘Manjushage’, a customised Honda Monkey designed and built by the German team of artist @Lanaarts23 and bike builder Maximilian Zech, a technician based at the flagship Honda Centre dealer in Frankfurt, came in a close second with 29% of the total. The subtle café racer features clip on bars, a Yoshimura end-can and aftermarket remote reservoir rear shocks to boost performance and handling, while Lana’s signature spider lily motifs (Manjushage in Japanese) adorn the fuel tank and fender, with the finishing touch being a tiny cartoon monkey on the downpipe heat shield. The podium was completed by France’s ‘Tokyo’, a Monkey displaying an absolute riot of colour from the French duo of artist Grems (@insta_grems) and builder George Woodman (@georgewoodman64). What set Tokyo apart from the other entries were the pop-art visuals, pumped with vibrant colour in abstract – and subtly meshed – patterns on every square centimetre. It attracted 12% of the total votes. This year 21,606 people visited the www.hondacustoms.com webpage over the summer to cast their votes, an increase of 41% from last year, with 5,461 users downloading a wallpaper of the chosen bike for their mobile or desktop. All seven bikes were on display at the annual Wheels and Waves festival, running from 21st to 25th June in Biarritz, France. Masayuki Hamamatsu, General Manager of Motorcycles, Honda Motor Europe: ‘Working with young artists to create unique versions of our minibikes has been a fantastic way for us to attract the attention of a younger audience to the fun and accessibility of motorcycles. The strong reaction to these seven incredibly diverse creations is an encouraging sign of how motorcycles really engage people’s interest when they are given the chance to be ‘in contact’ with them. Furiosa is a very cool and worthy winner and we are very grateful to all the artists and customisers who were involved from seven different countries – and to the more than 15,000 people who voted.’ For those wishing to take a closer look at all seven customisations, the Honda Customs page www.hondacustoms.com is still available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese and features bikes from Spain, Austria, France, Italy, Germany, Portugal and the UK . Users are still able to download a wallpaper of their favourite bikes for desktop or mobile. Read the full article

Day 14: Como, a Return to the Mountains, and a Farewell to High Passes
Awakening to the sunshine in Mandello, I find myself eager to embrace a new day with a fully functioning bike. Starting the day with another visit to the Moto Guzzi factory, I join fellow enthusiasts from across the globe, comparing bikes and exchanging stories of our travels. A few photos in front of the factory's famous red gates offers a memento of our nerdy camaraderie.
Deciding to take a scenic route, I circle more of the lake and journey towards the Ghisallo Pass, a landmark on the Giro d’Italia route. The more common route is Bellagio and back down again, but this way I get so see more of Como. Bellagio itself, perched on a promontory jutting into the lake, offers some of the best panoramic views of the water. As I sit on a lakeside jetty, rehydrating and contemplating my next steps, the decision to head towards home begins to formulate.
It's clear that my homeward journey should include a reunion with the mountains and a brush with the Dolomites. Charting a course that spans the passes of Maloja, Ofen, Umbrail, and finally, the legendary Stelvio, I envisage a great swan song for my alpine exploits.
The journey begins with a short ferry ride from Bellagio to Varenna, thankfully with my luggage on the back of the bike this time. Unhurriedly winding around the lake and through quintessential Italian villages, the bike barks through the peaceful landscape with its fixed exhaust. A hearty Italian meal fuels me for the forthcoming ride as I bid Lake Como farewell.
The Majolapass and Ofenpass serve as a reintroduction to the alpine world. Their wide, friendly roads, devoid of the technical demands of previous passes, are meditative. The scenery is less complicated than previous passes, being monochrome mountains punctuated with dense dark green Swiss pine. I ride visor-up, relishing the chill of the mountain air, readying myself for the impending ride through my final mountain passes.
The ascent to the Umbrail pass, standing proud at 2,501m, marks my farewell to Swiss alpine riding. As it links the Swiss and Italian borders, the Umbrail pass acts as my gateway to the legendary Stelvio and the Dolomites. Despite the sharp cold, losing 1ºc every 100m I’m told, I soak in every detail.
The finale, the Stelvio Pass, presents a serene environment. With only a group of fellow Brits driving BMW M3s for company, we take on the famed ascent together. With a fully functioning bike and some improved skills after completing many mountain passes, the race to the summit is silky smooth. At the top, we wave goodbye and I stop to embrace the sight that meets me - my last mountain panorama.
The Stelvio, the fifth highest road in Europe, famed across the world, offers a fitting conclusion to this roadtrip. This time I feel content in the knowledge that I've lived this journey fully. I’ve seen so much and achieved everything I aimed for, plus a little more. If this is the last mountain pass that I ever do - what a road to bow out on. I descend the pass alone, slowly, letting goafers cross the road and watching birds of prey circle the ice white valley.
Despite the excitement of the remaining journey home, I know that the mountains - the Pyrenees, Alps, and now the Dolomites - will leave a lasting imprint on me.
This evening, I find shelter in a quaint Swiss hotel in Schlinig, where I can still see the mountains looming in the distance. As the sun sets, I offer them a salute of gratitude, promising to cherish their memory as I journey towards home in the morning.
