Oakland Sideshows

I think Oakland sideshows and dirt bike riding are not that bad for Oakland. I think the police should let riders have a place were they can swing their sh**  so the police can stop worrying about it and the riders can stop worrying about being chased.  I wonder why the police don't let us burn rubber or do donuts in the street. It’s a free world! And besides, they don’t let us ride our bikes because they say it is too dangerous to ride . It gets dangerous when the police start chasing the riders. That’s how they get into accidents. Like in a picture I saw, a police officer was chasing a rider and the rider was trying  to get away from the police but the rider did a hard  turn and then hit a car.  Because of the police, the rider broke his neck and his leg. The reason why I support sideshow is because I like to seeing cars doing donuts in the middle of the street  and plus I like the smell of the burn rubber  it’s cool to see nice ass cars doing donuts a illegally but it would be way better if the oakland mayor could give us a spot where  we could do sideshows and that’s why we will not worry about the f**kin police coming and blocking our way out. And that’s the reason why I support the Oakland bike rider.

Oakland Sideshows

Oakland Sideshows has been a problem since the early 1900’s. The first Oakland Sideshow was organized in Eastmont Mall here in Oakland Ca. I think sideshows were not a big of a deal back then because older people would do them so I guess there are more responsible than younger people and now young people are more involved with sideshows than older people. My opinion on sideshows are that they are good in a way and bad as well. Sideshows are good because they found something to entertain themselves with. They all get together as a community and they stay away from gangs. Instead of them assaulting or killing people they go to sideshows to enjoy and have fun. Sideshows are there way to express themselves through their car and how they manage to control the car while the sideshow. Most people probably have problems so they go to sideshows because that kind of gives them power so they feel like they matter and it probably boost up their self esteem as well.

Sideshows are also bad because everyone gets exposed to the danger. Sideshows can lead to much more than ‘’swinging their cars.’’ When the sideshows occur the audience can get hurt as well as the drivers. People die from the sideshows and from all the excitement at that moment. That takes away the whole meaning of taking the car for a joy ride. The drivers most of the time get drunk, consume drugs, and hang out off cars while doing donuts. The drivers can lose control while doing donuts and that can lead to serious consequences. Sometimes they like to shoot bullets because it’s fun for them and people can get seriously hurt. They like to get chased and run away from the police because for them its ‘’fun!’’ The police gets involved and people get arrested just for the pleasure of attending sideshows and seeing the cars in action, just because they think that they have a better car and rims than the other persons. Since they want to make sideshows somewhere where it’s big so they can do donuts those streets or freeways are really busy and they stop traffic and that’s a problem. People try to get home from work and they can’t because of sideshows. Imagine if a man is trying to rush to the hospital for his pregnant wife, someone is really sick, or the ambulance has someone who’s dying and they can't get through because sideshows. Sideshows can be bad but good as well.
