Feeling a wee bit festive… Christmas decorations up! Opted for a gold and pink theme this year with pink and white lights. Went for a Swiftmas vibe and complete with unicorn tinsel (I wasn’t aware this was an actual thing), but always as I’ve done I take the approach of working a Christmas Tree like it’s a craft, more pics to come later and aye tinsel is typically everywhere - 26.11.23 😅 🌸🎄

Let’s just say Taylor killed it at the AMA’s ❤️❤️

Taylor really truly deserved Artist of the Decade because if there’s one musical act that truly defined the 2010s it was Taylor ❤️❤️ she made the successful transition from country to pop, she’s sold millions upon millions of records hell from Speak Now to Reputation she sold a million in just the FIRST WEEK with each album that’s how big Taylor Swift is and even though Lover didn’t meet that mark for a 5th time it still sold more in its first week than any other act this year.

She’s had 5 no. 1 singles, plenty of top 20 hits, sold out tours, won numerous awards including 10 Grammys (two of them being Album of the Year for Fearless and 1989) and with all those accomplishments she wrote EVERY SONG hell she kicked off the 2010s by writing the entire album of Speak Now by HERSELF and that’s what makes her one of the most authentic country and pop stars of our generation she’s undeniable and a force to be reckoned with

and let’s not forget her accompishments outside of just the music. She’s fought the industry when it came to streaming (the Spotify and Apple Music controversies) and even recently fought her former label Big Machine when it came to owning her previous work. She’s a symbol and inspiration for every artist and she always fights for the smaller artists and not just herself she truly is a selfless person and that’s not mention all the charities she’s supported and being an activist for causes and issues like the LGBT community for instance

and the most important part about Taylor is that she truly loves her fans going above and beyond every step of the way whether it’s meet and greets that goes on for hours and hours, the secret sessions, Swiftmas, hanging out with the fans backstage at her concerts, following and interacting with her fans on Tumblr and other social media or doing special things for certain fans like surprising a fan at a wedding or baby shower or inviting a fan to her house or helping pay a fan’s student loans she’s shown in many ways that she loves us and cares about us and she’s thankful for us she’s never forgotten where she came from and who’s got her to where she is today. Every artist say they love their fans but it’s Taylor that not only says that but SHOWS it as well she’s one of very few that has broken the barrier between fan and celebrity and that’s one of the many reasons why I love her.

I can go on and on about how much she’s truly impacted the decade but that could take me all night haha 😊😊 @taylorswift congrats on being Artist of the Decade and congrats on all your awards tonight and you killed that performance it was amazing ❤️❤️ you’re not only the artist of the decade for me but the artist of my life I’ve said in many previous posts how much your music has helped me not only through this decade but since you came on the scene in 2006 I’ve been a fan since DAY 1 and I’m so thankful for you and your music every day thank you Taylor I love you congrats ❤️❤️❤️
