Hi there! Remember me? Here's a new single! On September 30, I'll be releasing an album I've been working on since I put out If I Told You. This new one is called "Pretend You Don't Know Me," so actually it's just fine if you don't remember I make music. Hard to believe it's almost been two years. I just released a single on Bandcamp and it should be on your preferred streaming platform soon. It would mean a lot to me if you followed me on Spotify, etc. & that way you'll also be notified when I release new work. Spoiler alert: I'm going to be releasing a lot in the next few months. I hope you'll give it some time, share your feedback. Making music requires many hats to be worn at the same time. I've been wearing a songwriter hat since my early days in the Grade Nine Band, but the recording, producing, promoting hats fit more awkwardly and don't stay on very well. I'm embracing my lo-fi abilities and would appreciate anything you want to share with me. Thanks so much for your support. All proceeds from this single will go to supporting RAINN and if you spend your money today (#FirstFriday) Bandcamp won't take a cut of your payment. I was moved to record "rape me" as a b-side to "sweetnsour sally" for a number of reasons. In part, Dave Graeber's recent passing felt like a re-awakening. I need to continue creating spaces to open up conversations about social structures and traumas that affect us all, whether they be debt or sexual assault. The more I learn about trauma--informed by my own, the Take Back the Night movement and the work of Ruth King, Serene Jones, Resmaa Menakem and Bessel van der Kolk--the more I see our willingness to share with each other our burdens, sorrows and truth as the key to our national, global healing. #franciscanfriday *When a loved one shares they’ve been sexually assaulted, you may feel at a loss for words. So I generally write fluff content, but is angst something you’d be interested in as well?

Also, any villain requests for the upcoming mini series? I’ll be starting that one soon. Edit: scenario requests are fine too. That series will get a little murder-y since it’ll be going through October. So far Dabi will be getting 3 different pieces bc turns out I’m more into him than I realized. Toga is getting two. Shigaraki is down for one.

And update: the Bakugou drummer au is in progress and outlined as a 6 part mini series.

Edit: okayyy my first angst posts will be in the villain mini series and the drummer mini series.💔I think I can do it to Bakugou if I can give him Fluff before the end.
