This year marks the 9th Valentine’s Day we’re spending together and it has looking back at all the different ways we’ve celebrated it over the years. There was the time we spent it on the kitchen floor of a condemned house PJ just bought and was fixing up, with takeout and candles illuminating our dinner (which sounds more romantic than it was, due to the constant smell of pet urine in the house 😂). There was the time PJ went out of town for a work trip and came home to rose petals and a sweet note. There was the time PJ surprised Thomas with cupcakes (his favorite) and a big banner proclaiming how much he loved him. And then there was the time we were in the Caribbean on one of the most beautiful ships at sea, and not taking a single second of it for granted. And you know what? No matter how big or how small or how adventurous this day has been for us, each one is part of a story that makes up a life that we’re choosing to spend together, day after day and year after year. So today is a big day for us. On Friday, Thomas left his insurance job (where he’s been for the last four years) to focus on our business full time. This has been a long time coming, but it was a scary decision. Making the choice to follow your passion is not always an easy one. It gives you feelings of uncertainty, doubt, and you may even find yourself second guessing every move you make. But today, we’re celebrating this milestone (for us) with open minds and open hearts, feeling optimistic about the future and the chance to work together towards building OUR future. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be celebrating with @celebritycruises on their beautiful ship, @celebrityedge. Here’s to everyone out there who is in a similar position- feeling nervous but taking that leap anyway towards fulfilling your dreams. We just got finished with a couples massage at the spa onboard the #CelebrityEdge and it was the perfect way to start the end of this 7 day cruise. The ship has started making its way back to Florida which means we have just two more days here! We’ve been having the time of our lives onboard and are endlessly thankful for @celebritycruises and how they promote love, acceptance, and positivity through every aspect of their brand; whether it’s the crew members on the ship (from literally all over the world) to the folks they partner with (🏳️‍🌈❤️). So Thomas took his first step on land outside of the U.S. today and we had a blast! We spent the afternoon lounging on the beaches of St. Maarten and learned a bit about the history of the island. We’ve declared 2018 the year of travel (with more trips planned throughout the year) and we’re starting it off right with @celebritycruises.
