Sweetfrog frozen yogurt? More like going-out-of-business-within-a-year frozen yogurt

So a get a coupon for this new frozen yogurt place, $1 off $5 order. Ok, I can dig. I'll go try it because I got a hankerin for some froyo.

Well fucking everything about this place SUCKS. I was hoping for a Coldstone type of experience, ohhohoho no, Sweetfrog ain't no Coldstone.

First off, their rewards system SUCKS. You have to buy like 10x to get a free 12oz yogurt. That's the tip of the iceberg.

Second, it's fucking self serve. I walk in there and I'm expecting somebody to serve me but there's one girl who points me to the machines where I go serve myself, and I'm like wtf? Ok.

Third; I'm like "do you have a menu or something, where are the prices?". She's like, "you pay by the ounce and you have to come over here and weigh your yogurt on this scale" ...like, are you even fucking serious?! I said I want to pay about 5 bucks worth so I could get my dollar off, and she said I'd have to get about 9 oz for it to be about $5 so I'm like whatever okay. the scale doesn't even give you the price so you have to do math in your head to get a price??? Fuck that! She told me how much it cost per ounce but I immediately forgot.

So, I go get a small container and fill it with yogurt, come over to the scale and weigh it. Not enough. So I go back and put more frozen yogurt in my container and then go back to the scale. STILL NOT ENOUGH. I'm thinking "what a RETARDED fucking system". So I have to go get a larger container and plop my ice cream into the new container and put MORE in. It finally weighs out to about 10 oz, so I put a few toppings on which is also a self-serve bullshit, then I go to get rung up without having any clue how much my frozen yogurt is going to cost.

It came up to $6.50 and that was with the $1 off coupon.

So I finally get back to my car to eat it, pissed off that I spent a dollar fifty more than I wanted to because I was expecting to overpay anyways... so I was thinking that this better be some damn good frozen yogurt... And when I eat it... fucking mediocre as fuck.

TLDR; Sweetfrog frozen yogurt FUCKING BLOWS on every single level, and it's no Cold Stone and it makes me really wish that they would go out of business and a Cold Stone would replace them because Cold Stone fucking rocks. Never go to Sweetfrog unless you like overpriced mediocre frozen yogurt that you have to serve yourself and you have to guess the price. The motherfuckers can't even have set prices for different sizes. Absolute joke of a business.
