I think I got into it younger than you did tho. I didn't know fanfiction, DeviantArt, or comics was a thing then, but a friend got me into the books in 3rd grade and I DEVOURED the series!! Same with me, it was the first ever "thing" I got into

Me and my friends would play "Warriors" during recess and we would get so into the playfighting that we got the game banned at out school😂😂 which, fair, cus it was really just a bunch of elementary kids throwing down in the soccer field😂

I still have the first book I was given at 8 years old! It's crazy beat up cus I would lend it to kids and I would read it so so much haha

Technically, that was my first ever fanfiction, but I never got past chapter one lol. I worked out all the clan lore and cats and family and everything, but actually writing it ended up being too much of a chore for lil’ teenage me. It’s funny how things have changed since then (and also stayed the same haha).
