i’m worried i’m about to hit this point in chess where i’m about to be hit with a very rude awakening.

right now a lot of my matches i find to be pretty easy and not too complicated.

it’s not that i’m playing weak players or anything and i *do* lose but it’s not super complicated lines or anything.

When i do lose i can instantly go “oh yeah i like totally missed that” or i was rushing.

SO i’m expecting very soon that i’m about to be in this space of running into much more complicated lines and against people who may just crush me.

i cannot say this all for sure but i remember when i was playing swtor and first getting into wow, i was REALLY decent for like what we used to call “Regstar” or “SweatyPug” but when i first started getting into real ranked pvp i was like WHOA “i never thought about doing thing that way”.

Saw a lot of strats and class utility i never thought of before and like it REALLY took some time to break in.

I eventually, especially in SWTOR got past that and ended up being one of the best players on my server and was a rank 1 player for 3 seasons but you know chess is MUCH MUCH deeper.

I don’t know, i’m just blurting stuff out. I’m lonely and i feel like i don’t have anywhere else to really put anything like this out.

Anyway, i’d say sorry for all the text posts lately but i think most people who are still around here know exactly what they’ve signed up for when they hit the follow button
