Someone told me once when you’re all wrapped up in backgrounds, lighting layouts and mastering a scene to turn around and take a picture behind you. A good percentage of wedding photos that are candid snapshots and simple photojournalistic moments of your day are just as important as super polished subject specific ones. Delivering everything and fully telling the story of your day is what I consider wedding photography.
