And on top of that, she did that before, 17 years ago, when she agreed to be a fiancee candidate for some dude she had never met, just because of her feeling of duty towards Kaguragi and Toufu

Then again, if they got married and she didn't like him she'd probably just kill him, like she tried this episode, so I guess it wouldn't have to be a life-long sacrifice

That being said, she sacrificed her personal desires and dedicated her life to her nation, just like Racules did. No wonder, they caught on so well. Now, after 17 years of dedication let them finally relax and enjoy life. If any of them dies, I won't forgive the writers/producers

Also, it seems that original plan was to kill Racules and for Kaguragi to take over Shugoddom

Suzume had her eyes fixed on the wedding ring she received from Racules.

Racules: It's just a makeshift. You won't get more than a penny if you sell it.

Suzume: Who do you think I am?! The fruit of love between Racules-sama and I is not something to put a price on!

Racules: ...Sometimes I wonder how sane you are.

Suzume: Nothing to wonder. My love for Racules-sama is enough to drive me mad!

Racules: Love? You mean hatred, Suzume Dybowski.

Suzume: (´◔ ₃ ◔`) eh?

Racules: For your country, become its tool… At this point, where is the logic for you to stay sane?

Suzume: ...Toufu's women, we keep our feet firm on the ground. Therefore, we will not easily stray from the path we believe in :D

A sudden smile appeared on Racules.

Racules: Just as I thought, you are a lost cause.

Racules stepped away to leave.

Racules: That ring, it shines in the sun. Careful, don't burn your eyes.

Suzume looked at the ring, then at the back of Racules.

Suzume: …Enough! Saying things like "don't go mad" is forbidden~!!!

Suzume caught up to Racules in a dash. Racules treated her like serious trouble.

Soon, the duel shall begin, for the second time.

スズメ、ラクレスをダッシュで追いかけ、ラクレスが本当に面倒くさそうにあしらう。

間も無く、二度目の決闘裁判が始まる。

Anyway, I have few theories

So, first of all, Hill Bill brainwashing is now off the list, so what we have is

Kamejim turns into Suzume and tries to murder Racules

Kamejim turns into Racules, Suzume realises this and attacks him

There was something with that part were we see Suzume in Gokkan talking to Rita. Maybe sth like "you were helping him so to prove your loyalties go murder him". Of course, neither Suzume nor Rita would go with sth like that but you get the vibe I'm implying

It's some elaborate con of the two again, for example, getting Racules out of cage, Morphonia runs away to look for help, you can proceed to stage 2

Others were also struck by Minongan's powers, it's just that they are older so id didn't affect them as much. So Jerami is like 1990 or sth, meanwhile Suzume and Racules are like, 10 or sth instead of straight up babies. Then Suzume jumping at Racules with a knife might imply that when she was sent yo Shugoddom she initially planned to kill him, but she got to know him better and refrained from doing so

The last one is my favourite, though idk how would they have it fit with the timeline and stuff. Would be fun to see how their relationship looked like initially

Also, there seems to be some connection between Rita and Kaguragi/Gokkan and Toufu since the 2 will have a fight over succession or sth

Also baby YanHime, Grandpa Jerami reading to the children, Big Brother Racules taking care of his Baby Brother Gira, all so cute <3

Meanwhile, Suzuracules/RacuSuzu straight up trying to murder each other?

I've been suspecting that Racules is immortal like Gira, but the fact that he isn't makes his actions even more impressive

In fact, I think that the revelations regarding Racules and his actions were either as predicted by fans or were resolved even better

The brothers reconciled, kings learned about Racules' deeds, he didn't die, Suzuracules is real and OTP, Racules' actions were all explained and make sense...

Best episode and best christmas gift one could get from the show!

Especially that this time we got a breather and we don't have to be at edge regarding what will happen next

Also, looks like my questionnaire proved right and answer to "will Racules die in episode 42?" indeed turned out to be "yes, but he lived!" XD

Also also, not many people know this, but the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything refers to 42nd episode of King-Ohger. Trust me, bros, it just makes sense. This episode solves everything, sooths anxious hearts of Racules' fans and opens eyes of the disbelievers

Gira said he's Racules' younger brother and Racules' face, and Gira calling him brother later again

Brothers fighting alongside each other and saving each others' asses

Suzume helping Racules and getting Kaguragi on board too. She's probably the only reason why he's alive in next episode ;-; Also, it must have been a huge relief for him to have someone he could share the burden with ;-;

Me re-entering King-Oh fandom after seeing this, when I casually checked Racules tag to see if he's back. Now, that's a motivation to binge episodes from the second half. Time to obsessively search the internet for fanart and fanfics, like good old first half of King-Oh days

The episode was awesome but the preview stole the spotlight like usual (I mean, Suzume and Racules' wedding?! screaming)

Also, I'm afraid I'll have to start to come to terms with the fact that Racules may not be a 6D chess player after all, but he just can keep up an appearance as if he was

Anyway, the crown is seen in the shot of the wedding, so it's either after the duel and Racules won or it's just some loophole like "if you marry Suzume, you can skip the duel and keep the crown" but he'll end up refusing it (I doubt it, though it would be funny if it was like "I'm sorry, Suzume, but I'm gay for your brother", haha. Though, I think I'm team Suzuracules by now)

Safe to say that no matter who wins, Racules will (most likely) survive so, yay!

Also, Gira trying to stop Yanma from killing Racules, so cute, I want my kids to become good brothers again

Anyway, in preview images we see both Gira and Racules having the crown power-up at some point, and the shot with Racules having the blade at Gira's neck, plus the crown in the wedding shot makes me think Racules would win (I mean, that would be hilarious, imagine. Every time they duel, you expect Gira to win because he's the protagonist and he is supposed to win, but every time Racules wins because he's simply more skilled swordsman)

But then there's also Gira's coronation from the upcoming Adventure Heaven film and so it would appear that Gira should win. And there's also the 3rd part of the Racules spin-off. But they have like 1,5 of a week between the 20th episode and the film? So I guess once we start the new arc in 21st episode? Could it be that Racules goes with Suzume on a honeymoon and Gira is crowned a king in Racules' absence? Is that a thing?

Whatever, I just want my babies to be happy (Though, I'd love for Racules to remain a king, if at least he'd get to co-rule with Gira, that could be cool)

I just think that it's his self-loathing kicking in and like "Suzume deserves a better husband"

I can totally see him trying to file for a divorce in upcoming episodes and then we'll have it all resolved

But it's still clear that he cares about her a lot. He also cares about Gira but he keeps his distance from him. After all, he's been concealing his true face for 17 years, so him repressing his emotions now and being unable to show them would make whole lot of sense

I feel like in every episode we'll get another part of Racules deconstructed, like in previous one we had his hunger for power, now we had how Suzume feels about their relationship, so I imagine that we'll have his perspective on it as well

I can imagine Kaguragi and Gira fighting over who gets to have RacSuzu children for his heir. Possibly even have an official duel over the matter. Of course, no one bothered to ask Racules or Suzume about it. Racules will probably mention that no one would want a criminal like himself for a father in the first place but he's yelled over by Suzume and Gira

If Yanma ever passes the throne (for whatever reason) people in N'kosopa are going to cry over their computers while they hack-battle for the leadership

Aside of RacSuzu, the only officially canon romantic interest we saw was Yanma's crush on Himeno. They give that tsundere vibes but I can't see any of them moving to the other's country - they're just too proud and stubborn. Unless, like, Yanma lives at Himeno's castle but everyday goes out "to work" to N'kosopa XD

If we go by what Jerami said in "date with Kamejim Himeno" episode, he probably won't go for anyone much younger than himself, so he'll most likely will have to get himself some apprentice that he will train to take over the throne after him, Gokkan style

So anyway, unless we'll get some cloning shenanigans, it doesn't look so good in terms of heirs

Amongst the kings, Rita was the only with confirmed heir.

Unless someone told Suzume that it was possible to both be a queen and housewife. And she could just take Racules as her consort or something.

Jeremy too busied re-educating his people from their death cult mentality.

Everyone respected Yanma too much to consider themselves worthy to be his heir.

Ishabana and Shuggoddam seemed the only kingdoms who still passed down the throne through bloodlines, but...

Himeno's standard was too high.

I simply could not imagine Gira involved in romantic relationship with anyone. He did not seem the type to me.
