HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANI AND LOVESICK!!!

IT ISN'T ACTUALLY THEIR BIRTHDAYS, BUT TODAY IS IN-BETWEEN THEIR BIRTHDAYS, SO CONSIDER THIS THEIR BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

I feel like I've had these two for much longer than a year. It feels like they've been a part of me my whole life. I've developed them from simple concepts to something special. Ani went from a one-note joke exe to a tragic character with depth to his story and himself. Lovesick went from a simple fangirl, part of the joke, to a disturbing yandere, and then to her own person. I still have fun with these two, obviously, but I'm really proud of what I've done. Ani's story is the first unique story I made with dense world-building and characters. He isn't an adaptation like Jewel or Minnie, so this was all me. Ani and his cast mean the world to me.

Ani and Lovesick's past lives have references! I also gave them slight redesigns that I think look much better. I love these two a lot, even if I don't make much content of them.

Day 2 of Pride Month: Lovesick

I've struggled for a while on Lovesick's sexuality, but I've recently settled on it! Lovesick is lesbian-oriented aroace! I'm glad she turned out to be oriented-aroace because that needs more representation. What that means for Lovesick is that she feels no romantic or sexual attraction for anyone, but she feels alternate types of attraction for women, specifically aesthetic and emotional attraction. She also has a much higher chance of admiring a woman than a man. The important thing is that she is aroace first and foremost. The lesbian-oriented thing is more a side thing. Still important to highlight, but it doesn't and should not overshadow her being aroace.

Now for Lovesick's human identity!

This is Suzanne. She was sweet, eccentric, and ditzy. She lived with her dad and helped him out at the bakery they worked at. She already had a passion for baking, so she adored her job. On the opposite spectrum of Jerry, Suzanne was a total nerd. She watched anime, read manga, and listened to j-pop, including vocaloid. Some people said she would be a perfect magical girl protagonist. Speaking of, Suzanne would often be ridiculed or infantilized for her silly attitude. She was a goofball, but she was still an adult. She was aware of the world around her, so it made her really upset when people treated her like a stupid child. Other than that, Suzanne lived a happy life...until her early demise. For the record, I haven't thought of what her death cause is yet, so I'm leaving it ambiguous for now.
