HERE IS WHY SHIRLULU IS A LEGITIMATE SHIP -PART 1
Warning: I'm not a writer and English is not my native language. So kindly bare it or DM me about it. Criticism is welcomed not hate.
I always wanted to post a detailed analysis of  Shirley X Lelouch  relationship and will post in parts due to Tumblr restricted on images.
Fun fact- I started watching Code Geass with all the spoilers (deaths) and was fully expecting to be part of the Cclulu or Kalulu fanbase (because they are popular), but as I continued watching, I couldn't understand why Shirlulu had a minor fanbase and was ignored when their feelings were so obvious. Needless to say I became a Shirlulu shipper.
Let's start -
Shirley and Lelouch loved each other.
While Shirley's feeling are so obvious.
Lelouch's feelings are hinted throughout the series (both direct and subtle hints), which are often ignored as filler or brushed off as "guilt" for killing her father (which is not the case).
There are people who dislike Shirley just because she is not "useful" like other girls. Let me tell you it's called a business deal and not love if you are going to choose a person based on their "usefulness."
Let's start with Direct hints
R1 Stage 14 -
although the whole episode is dedicated to Shirlulu and their relationship. I'm focusing  only on the bits right now.
Lelouch, being dense when it comes to love, didn't realize his feelings until he lost her. Lelouch really cherished her presence in his life.
Tumblr media
When I first watched CG , I really didn't expect that Lelouch would say such a romantic line especially for Shirley ( the ship so unpopular) and I repeat NO ONE would say this for a platonic friendship.
I was suspicious of Lelouch's feelings but this episode made it crystal clear that's its mutual , it's just Lelouch didn't realize it before.
Tumblr media
Honestly, I would love to see them bicker and laugh it off after patching up
Tumblr media
R1 Stage 12 & 14 -
IIrc, Shirley is the only girl whom Lelouch kissed back.
Personally I don't think he kissed her back due to guilt over killing her father but more like doing anything he could to comfort her.
He could have kissed Kallen if guilt was the reason but he only let her kiss him.
Tumblr media
R1 Stage 14 -
"Any sin you commit is mine to bear" is the love language of Lelouch. If we consider Lelouch's personality.
He is not type to buy flowers and chocolates and he is the type who would do everything in power to hide the evidence of murder and going far to even take the blame for it.
Tumblr media
Ranked as one of the best anime hugs and only hug scene in code geass series. The way Lelouch pulls her into a hug is everything
Tumblr media
R2 Stage 12 -
Shirley felt Lelouch was lying about his feelings for her. His immediate response was a hard " No". Once he realized that blurted out his feelings, he tried to cover it up.
The reason was because he wanted to protect her, he did not want her get involved in dangerous stuff ( mao trauma) and he is too busy and cannot afford to be in a relationship. He doesn't want to be neglectful boyfriend to her because she doesn't deserve it.
This alone should be a proof that Shirley's feelings are reciprocated.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
R2 Stage 24 -
Lelouch was arguing with Schneizel about how people struggle against sadness yet still seek the future.
The first scene that played was Shirley's death, symbolizing that Lelouch's struggle against sadness was Shirley's death and how he still he continued to seeks a future.
Tumblr media
R2 Stage 25 -
Lelouch was dying, the first person that came to his mind was Shirley (it was just chronological order S2-S1 after that), and his last image was his childhood with Suzaku and Nunnally. The Special ones in Lelouch's life
Many people chose to ignore this moment but this one is undeniable proof that Lelouch never moved on from Shirley

C.C. exists as someone / something / what does he know / to set his teeth on edge and force his hand. Or, that's what he thought before — As a Knight of the Round, she was his enemy, the reason for everything beginning again and again no matter how hard he tried to cut the cycle short. Suzaku isn't sure he's ever believed in fate and, unless someone finally tells him he was fated to be a murderer, that will remain true even in the face of a being like her. One that outlives and outwits and outlasts. And it's because of her that Lelouch is——
"Clearly not you," is all he says in reply to her comment, jaw clenching as he bites back any other words that might linger in his throat. No, he doesn't want help. What has he ever done to deserve it? Helping him / Wanting to help people / is what killed Euphie. Who else would even offer him any anymore? He's been offered a future of nothing for himself and peace for all other people. It's enough. Will have to be enough. Suzaku has been hated for so long, he's almost happy, in a morbid way, that he'll 'die' that way too. Ever a pawn and puppet to some grand design. But it's Lelouch's this time, of course — There's not another living person / plan he'd offer up his swan song to so willingly.
Green eyes narrow to a knife's edge. "You won't be walking like that," he glances back up to the mostly calm skies, his own knightmare not far beyond the wreckage of C.C.'s and her prey's. Battle is battle and Suzaku is alive in it — Finding C.C. was easy, he didn't even have to wait for the dust to settle, and peeling off from the main force when the battle is practically over is child's play. He's changed. Geassed soldiers are a necessary sacrifice; If his life has any value, it's only been allotted for these circumstances.
"Can you sit?" For a moment, he almost sounds like his old self: Suzaku tenses his arm to give C.C. a better surface to lean on and starts kicking away debris surrounding her crushed cockpit. Something in him goes on alert when people need him. A flipped switch — His cold heart is a fragmented, almost-nothing, and yet. "I can fly us back once we have the all clear." His gaze flicks back up to the sky. Mostly clear of ships now, but the odd one passes over, scanning for hostile aircrafts. "When we saw you go down—" Suzaku glances back at her, hoping to pull C.C. along with him to at least rest her leg. He almost seems concerned, but the sentiment quickly veils itself under his usual mask of focus, of intent, and underneath the words that he enunciates more clearly than any others, "He'll be waiting for you."
Tumblr media
inside knightmare frames, the world narrows. they're stuffy, annoying things, as far as she's concerned —— uncomfortable to say the least, but effective. until they fall from the sky and crash to the ground and other inconvenient things, only good for breaking a fall, at that rate. she's gotten used to falling / gotten used to a lot of things, really / death and dying and drowning and burning and exploding, imploding, everything in between. none of it has any effect on her, really, other than the fleeting idea that oh, if only, but the thought is there and gone again, as ineffectual as a butterfly caught in a spiderweb.
still : climbing out of wreckage is time consuming and annoying. and also necessary. immortality does not come with an easy and convenient way of getting the body out of situations that could destroy it, if given time and patience, so she always has to do it the hard and arduous way, shoving aside bits of wreckage and filth, palms splitting on sharp metal, sighing to herself all the while —— but, look at that, amusement has arrived in the form of a KNIGHTLY MAN / well, not quite a man, but not quite a boy, either. always carrying himself with straight shoulders and a halfway stern expression, ready to rescue at any time, and there's that look on his face : that expectant one, that furrow to his brow, an outstretched hand.
it threatens at being funny and she smiles humorlessly, ignoring his offer as she picks across the wreckage. something in her body hurts, maybe it's that her leg is in a strange position, but oh well. it's nothing that won't be fixed in, hmm, a few minutes or so. ❝ i can take care of myself, you know, ❞ she says lightly, glancing down at her leg with intense disinterest for the blood and weird positioning and lack of ability to bear weight on it and whatnot. ❝ go on, now, shoo, ❞ she waves him off, bored but not that bored.
a sigh, as if pulled from @spirestar's soul, a shake of his head. ❝ just take my arm, at the least, ❞ so persistent !! she supposes that knights in fairy tales are always quite persistent / how else would they ever get the girl, after all?
she glances at him, head tilting, hair falling around her / his arm is still outstretched because he's deeply predictable, almost laughably so. he's such a bleeding heart, always willing and ready to throw anything and everything aside to play at being the hero, even if he doesn't see it that way. conviction and determination have little effect on her unless it has anything at all to do with her own goal, passion and drive lost on her entirely if it doesn't suit her needs. not a one of kururugi suzaku's traits moves her, stirs her, brings her long dead heart to motion ; but that's hardly something she can expect of him.
❝ you should learn when to take no for an answer, ❞ delivered with a sigh, a sway of her head, her leg moving slightly and hurting. hurt is always so far off, distant, remote. still : her hand settles in the crook of his elbow ; a curiosity moreso than anything else / she reaches up to gather heavy hair in her free hand, lifting it from the back of her neck, twisting it / strands falling heavy. ❝ some people don't want to be helped. ❞ like you, she doesn't say aloud / the implication heavy in her tone / in the way her gaze settles only to move away once more.

just another little anti-suzaku-hate rant because suzaku kururugi is love & deserves some appreciation (esp if lelouch is gonna get praised)
(these are my feelings after binging Code Geass Season 1. I've just started Season 2 so my feelings can very well change)
I actually like Suzaku Kururugi. Like, a lot.
I love both him and love-hate Lelouch, even though I find many of Lelouch’s actions and his outlook on some things despicable (yet this egomaniac still has a piece of my heart…ergh. It’s tiring, these conflicting emotions).
But people are out here hating on Suzaku yet are worshipping Lelouch when Lelouch has heartlessly murdered and manipulated tens of times more people for his own selfish gain. But it’s Suzaku that people pile grief onto.
This just doesn’t make sense to me.
Suzaku isn’t perfect and his idealism is a little misguided, but at least he cares about humanity more than Lelouch has proven to. Lelouch’s main driving factor is not the Japanese people, but his revenge on his father and providing a better life for his sister (who, if we’re being real here, doesn’t even have that crappy of a life to begin with, especially when compared to the Japanese). The people and “justice” only come after.
Wanting a better world for Nunnally is a commendable goal, but the means he’s taking to get there are just…atrocious at times, honestly. I get that in war, sacrifices must be made. To raise a rebellion, life will be lost. I get that, I totally do. But Lelouch sacrifices lives from both sides with little care unless it’s people he’s directly connected with, and when he is faced with the consequences of his actions (like with Shirley’s dad and Euphemia), he disregards them in the end as merely “a necessary sacrifice.” It’s pretty heartless, actually. He only really shows a struggle with this when it’s people who he personally cares about or has ties to.
And that’s selfishly hypocritical.
This isn’t hating on Lelouch, because as much as he infuriates me, I actually love him a lot. He’s a fascinating character and when he does show his caring, affectionate side, it’s a wonderful thing to behold—however, I’m also able to recognize and call him out on the wrong he does. I’m not saying he doesn’t care at all for humanity or the Japanese, for he does, just when it comes to his end goal vs people, he chooses his end goal every time. If the sacrifice doesn’t directly affect him, he rarely thinks twice about it or will regret it.
Lelouch is willing to sacrifice anything and anyone on a mass scale to give a better life for his sister…and for his revenge. Yet no one dislikes him for this. No one hates on him or calls him out on this. But you know who they will hate on? Suzaku Kururugi.
“He’s a little b*tch” “He’s so annoying” “Can he just die already” “He’s always in the way I hate him so much!!” What did this kid do though to deserve all this hate? Yeah, he joined the Brittanian army, but the whole reason he did so was to make a difference with as little life lost as possible. Suzaku wanted to change things from the inside out in a way that didn’t require so much blood, death and destruction. Yeah, it’s very idealistic and naive, but Suzaku’s intentions and heart are 100% genuine. He doesn’t have any ulterior, self-centered motives driving him like Lelouch does. And he certainly doesn’t willingly sacrifice lives to achieve his goal the way Lelouch does.
Both Suzaku and Lelouch share a goal: to bring peace to the world. Their methods are different, yes, and both characters have some serious flaws. But they’re different sides of the same coin utilizing different means to achieve their goal. The difference is: Lelouch has more selfish reasons as his main driving reason and he’s willing to sacrifice anyone who stands in his way.
It’s hypocritical to praise Lelouch but turn around and hate on Suzaku, especially since Lelouch has done way more heinous things and is willing to sacrifice anybody’s life to achieve his goal (he only debates this when it’s someone directly connected to him). Suzaku at least values human life and is trying to change the world with the least amount of life lost. He’s not perfect and in no way am I saying he hasn't done wrong as well, for he certainly has; however, it's not nearly to the scale as Lelouch and not as intentionally as Lelouch has. So with that, I just don’t get how people will strongly hate Suzaku but will turn around and excuse/worship everything Lelouch does.
Anyways, rant over. Ofc everyone is open to their own opinion and can love/hate any character they want; I just wanted to defend my boy a bit because there are a lot of hypocrites out there who hate on Suzaku for things that they turn a blind eye on when it comes to Lelouch.

Can you guys imagine if Suzaku, Lelouch's best friend, killed Shirley, a girl Lelouch adores, and Lelouch gets mad at Suzaku and puts a vendetta against him yeah that would totally make sense BUT if Lelouch, Suzaku's best friend, killed Euphemia, a girl Suzaku adores, and Suzaku gets mad at Lelouch and puts a vendetta against him then in THAT case Suzaku is just being an asshole and his desire to kill Lelouch is unjustifiable even though the two situations are exactly parallel? At this point I'm convinced that people are just finding excuses to hate Suzaku.

I really felt annoyed on that kallen and lelouch scene where kallen landed on top of him in a sense where both has something to go back after the battle i mean lelouch was asking her to go back with him, I just felt where would c.c. be after the battle, will she be forgotten after it? Will it be like okay c.c. your job here is done you may go and we will go back to our own ordinary lives, will lelouch just let her go if she decided to go....lol and the list go on, (this is me speaking beyond shipping and as a c.c. enthusiast) and if i didn't know that the director is pushing c.c. and lelouch to each other i will forever hate the series cuz c.c. deserves the best (i mean its very obvious with the official arts and scenes and i remember reading something about it before) (can we also assume that c.c. got jealous on that part too lol what would happen if c.c. didn't speak about tabasco will they kiss? lol) I also really have a love hate feeling w/ kallen, she is really a good pilot and i kinda ship him sometimes with suzaku, sometimes not because i love him with euphie, but really that tension whenever they are together fighting or not Idk if its their strong and badass character but they really look good and compatible with each other but then I really love her with Gino the most lol i mean if i find kallen and suzaku compatible then i find kallen and gino most compatible hahaha Its just that kallen can show that she can be weak/soft can be tired or can breakdown (and not the always strong her) with gino. (I hope you can understand this part) I love it when gino picked her up after her battle with suzaku. How I wished gino appeared more in the series, was introduce early and they had scenes more together. I sometimes dislike her cuz she is over reacting in a lot of times like she is just too much and almost in par with nina's reaction most of the times haha (i kinda dislike/hate kxl scenes in a sense too that its one sided like its mostly k and l shows no interest but sometimes it look like there is a mutual feeling between both of them(i mostly felt its one sided shen watching the movie especially the resurrection) (What can you say about their scenes?, when he put jacket to her while she was wearing bunny girl costume, the refrain scene, when she fell on top of him, when she was captured, their kiss? etc.) BUT if you look at c.c. and lelouch relationship and scenes together its just too consistent lol i just love it how lelouch always assured and pursued her from that rooftop scene after battling with Mao, if she is a witch then he'll became a warlock, when he discovered and promised her about fulfilling her true wish, when she asked him if he hated her for giving him the power of geass and about to do something if kallen did not interrupt and bonus: that resurrection scene when he decided to become L.L. (I LOVE WRITING THIS PART OF ASSURANCE AND PURSUING ABT CLUCLU, MY FAVORITE XD, pls add some if i forgot something) i also kinda agreed to that statement except c.c. part lol going around that Shirley -> Lelouch Lamperouge, Kallen -> Zero and C.C. -> Lelouch Vi Britania but doesn't C.C. knows all lelouch's persona and had been supportive and stayed with him from the very start and in whatever path he chose? 😂 I hate it that people come at c.c.'s age and that she witness lelouch grow up like, is her immortality her fault? Like people are okay for male characters of 123456790 age falling for main girls in dramas or some animes for example but not okay if its c.c. lol SORRY THIS POST IS SO LONG it was supposed to be focus only on the first part about THAT scene 🙏
Whoa~ You’re not lying, this is one hell of an ask 🤣😂😅 I read 4 topics in this xD:
Lelouch, Kallen, C.C. scene
Kallen ships (Suzaku or Gino)
Kallen x Lelouch vs C.C. x Lelouch
C.C. & Lelouch's Age-gap
Let’s go in!
Lelouch, Kallen, & C.C. Scene
(can we also assume that c.c. got jealous on that part too lol what would happen if c.c. didn't speak about tabasco will they kiss? lol)
Maybe, but who knows, to be honest. xD The whole interaction was very impulsive, considering the fact that Lelouch was still fresh off of bouncing back from his depression, which Kallen had witnessed and was at the brunt end of.
When Kallen fell on top of Lelouch, I do believe both of them were thinking about that one moment where Lelouch tried to use Kallen to forget his current circumstances. Perhaps part of Kallen wanted it, but knew it wasn’t right. So I adore her for bitch-slapping him. xD The idiot deserved it.
C.C. was just there... I’m not sure if she was jealous or not. Maybe she didn’t give a fuck xD Before I could form my own conclusions, the entire scene is interrupted again because Zero gets called out into the control room.
Kallen Ships (Suzaku vs Gino)
I agree with most of your points in this part.
Personally, in my own fics, I ship Kallen with Gino a lot because for me, Suzaku belongs with Euphemia by default.
But, I do see the chemistry and the sexual tension that could go between Suzaku and Kallen. Like maybe their fights are really just unresolved sexual tension 😂🤣
I imagine a romance between them would be very explosive, passionate, and rough. I don’t just mean this in terms of sex, I imagine their entire dynamic would swing this way too. They’re really opinionated, and they both literally fight for what they believe in, and their conviction is strong enough to rival each other’s.
Suzaku and Kallen just clash magnificently. On the other hand, Gino’s and Kallen’s personalities probably combine. They have things in common, but not too much to the point of being passionate and aggressive at the same time.
KaLulu vs CLuCLu
What can you say about their scenes?, when he put jacket to her while she was wearing bunny girl costume, the refrain scene, when she fell on top of him, when she was captured, their kiss? etc.
In that scene where he put his jacket on her, I think that’s gentlemanly of Lelouch. It’s something I expect from him considering he was born a prince, and also, he has a little sister. On a sidenote, I adore both him and Suzaku for being respectful towards the women in their circle, for the most part.
That refrain scene was a moment of grief for Lelouch and he was being erratic. I said it once or twice, I’ll say it again. I am so happy Kallen bitch-slapped him. It shows that she’s not willing to put up with bullshit, and believes that Lelouch is definitely better than that. Kudos to her, she may have slapped him to his senses. For Kallen, it was a moment of, “Please be who we need you to be.”
It was a brilliant turning point for Lelouch as well. After Nunnally was given the role of Viceroy, Lelouch, at least, realized that his war and his rebellion against Britannia wasn’t just for his sister anymore. It was for everyone he cared about too. It was for the people who counted on Zero’s idea of freedom and perhaps peace.
In summary, I made my stance clear on KaLulu on a separate post long ago. But the gist was, they may have felt romantic feelings for each other, but it was probably brief and suppressed in favor of their grander goals and all that shit that was already going down. Romance just wasn’t appropriate for Lelouch or any of the characters who had something at stake in the war.
In the end, Kallen chose Japan, and Lelouch chose Zero Requiem. That is that. 😊
BUT if you look at c.c. and lelouch relationship and scenes together its just too consistent
Lelouch & C.C.’s relationship is a slow-burn from the get-go. It’s part of the reason why it’s so appealing to me.
Let’s be honest, Lelouch doesn’t even view C.C. as human until halfway to R1, and C.C. took almost all of 2 seasons to acknowledge the fact that she cared about Lelouch.
i also kinda agreed to that statement except c.c. part lol going around that Shirley -> Lelouch Lamperouge, Kallen -> Zero and C.C. -> Lelouch Vi Britania
I understand why a lot of people like this argument. I, for one, believe there’s a grain of truth in it.
BUT in my own honest opinion, I think that is a little unfair to Kallen and Shirley. I’m sure Lelouch cared about the two of them in unique ways and perhaps chose to hide behind masks around them to protect them and to preserve his own façade. Hell, he lied to his own sister for most of the entire show because he thought it would protect her and would shield her from the horrors of the world. (It didn’t turn out well, did it? 🤣) Still, my point is, Shirley and Kallen would have been willing to understand and know Lelouch’s every mask. Lelouch himself, just didn’t let them. And it was for their own good, I believe.
So why C.C.?
If there’s anyone in the world who can understand people’s multiple points of view, it would probably be C.C... She lived through most of mankind’s history, and she’s been alive long enough to take multiple perspectives in, meet different types of people, and see lots of ridiculous shit xD Lelouch slowly becomes aware of this fact as the series progresses, and we do see him have deep conversations with her from time to time. She’s capable of being objective. She knocks some sense into him a lot, especially during the beginning. One notable example of this that I will never forget is the episode after Lelouch realized Shirley’s father died because of his actions. It showed how immature Lelouch was being and how idealistic -- thinking war only took out the bad guys in his side of the story. Point is, she knows when to chastise him and when to offer her consolation, which is part of the reason why Lelouch would pick her as accomplice anyway.
but doesn't C.C. knows all lelouch's persona and had been supportive and stayed with him from the very start and in whatever path he chose?\
C.C. does know him. But I wouldn’t go so far as to say ‘supportive’, nonetheless wholly supportive.
C.C. had her self-serving reasons, just like Lelouch. C.C. was looking forward to the moment Lelouch could acquire enough power and take her Code from her, so she could die. That’s why she saved his ass a lot in R1 and perhaps at the very beginning of R2. Her wishes and her intentions morph very slowly, and at one point, perhaps even blended together -- half still wanted to die, the other half was slowly empathizing and caring for Lelouch.
But yes, none can deny that she stayed with him from start to finish.
C.C. could have left after Charles & Marianne died, and I don’t think Lelouch would have blamed her if she did -- considering it was obvious that he couldn’t fulfill his end of the contract anymore. But she stayed. She stayed and helped, and kept her promise to stay with him to the very end.
Tumblr media
Lelouch & C.C.’s Age Gap
I hate it that people come at c.c.'s age and that she witness lelouch grow up like, is her immortality her fault? Like people are okay for male characters of 123456790 age falling for main girls in dramas or some animes for example but not okay if its c.c. lol
Lelouch & C.C.’s bizarre age-gap is literally not any different from an age-old vampire or any other immortal falling in-love with a human.
I can certainly point out plenty of stories that half this same massive age-gap, and its fans still love it.

I don't deny that Xuanji hurt Sifeng and was wrong sometimes but I understand some of her actions/reactions. She basically believed him even after the demon reveal till ep.42. She went to save him, stood up against everyone again for him, protecting at all cost. In ep.41, he promised her that he won't hid anything from her and will tell the truth. The distrust wasn't totally cleared and he went pretending he's the moshaxing and was using her, deceiving her all this time. She was begging them to let him go, that he's not evil. When a few moment before he said he wasn't there for the crystal lamp or the moshaxing. Which is true. He didn't thought about the consequences.
I know Sifeng loves Xuanji beyond words and sacrificed so much for her. His devotion is unmatched. He lives for her at this point. But how did he expect Xuanji to understand his actions when he don't tell any. Just "trust me" or "can you wait".
Yet, she didn't lose all her faith in him and thought he's still redeemable. She can't bear to kill him that's why Hao Chen tricked her with the suzaku bottle in ep.45. Sifeng told her a part of the truth which was not clear without telling her that she's the moshaxing. But even there he was gloating that she can't kill him because she still loves him. I wanted to tell him, pick a side. Do you want to reconcile or for her to hate you more?
In ep. 47, Xuanji didn't go berserk at Sifeng because of Hao Chen only. She lashed out because she blamed herself for being  wrong to trust him and to have been deceived by Sifeng again. When her anger mode is on, she can't reason (she didn't reason at all since the start of moshaxing Sifeng). That's how I see it. Despite her harsh words and how she hurt him, she wanted to seal the crystal lamp because she promised to do it and didn't want Sifeng to become a devil. I won't lie, I was pissed at Xuanji after this episode. Sifeng didn't deserve that. Then, I let go of my anger and try to see things from her POV.
Both times, his lover's curse was triggered was over misunderstandings, thanks Hao Chen. Honestly, I think Sifeng clearly doesn't know how much Xuanji loves him ( same thing for her though). When he saw her comforting Minyan by impersonating Linglong, he easily believe it or when he heard her pledge to her father. He didn't question any of it. So why are people acting like she intentionally hurt him knowing that he was cursed? The same Xuanji who agreed to take responsibilities so he won't be punished.
All his sacrifices are well intented but keeping her in the dark and expecting her to trust him was a wrong move and only created misunderstanding between them. He wanted to protect her, withheld all those informations, instead it backfired and drove them away. He ended up suffering her wrath and deeply hurt.
Actually, I'm watching Flower of evil. (Spoilers) In one episode, the wife was suspicious of her husband. He was acting strangely and went to arrest him for a crime he didn't commit. The husband was angry because his wife, his everything didn't trust him enough. Then, the wife said how do you expect me to trust you blindly when I don't have all the facts. When you don't tell me anything. I found the situation quite similar here.
We expect Xuanji to blindly trust Sifeng. He's a good guy and we know that everything he was doing was for her sake but she doesn't know anything. She also has people besides her who are pressuring her (father, sister, elders,...) to kill him. Her memories were manipulated.
She's at fault for not trying to figure out right from wrong when it didn't add up. For believing that the Sifeng she knew and loved was able to do those horrible things (hurting her aunt, killing her master and her bastard senior). For not reaching him out and ask for explanation. She sentenced him without any proof. She deserved to be blame and held accountable for that. But let's not act like she never did anything for Sifeng while she stood up against people and tried to protect him many times. She wasn't stabbed like him (more than once) at her stead but doesn't mean her actions back then don't matter.

super unpopular opinion but idrc: i love suzaku kururugi, he's my lil cinnamon roll with a heart of gold even if at times he's a little misguided and ignorantly idealistic. he def doesn't deserve the hate he gets. what, is he just not as "cool" as lelouch? because he's a "good boy" and"white knight" and isn't as appealing as a murderous dark knight? *eye roll*
lelouch is a psychopathic egomaniacal hypocrite who really needs someone to smack his bum down because he's gotten away with wayyyyy too much. he's barely faced the consequences of his actions, and when he does, he heartlessly disregards them. i love him but he infuriates me but he still has a part of my heart but he's definitely crossed way too many lines and needs to suffer the consequences of his actions (i still love him, though. but also low-key hate him at times. or moreso: i love him but hate his choices and actions and heartlessness...but still love him. sigh. conflicting emotions >_<)
