very cool that it seems like the only two modes of discussion about autistic people online are either "autistic people are widdle babies who never can be blamed for doing anything bad and would have no idea that sexual harassment is wrong" or "lol being autistic isn't an excuse for engaging in socially inappropriate behavior. you should simply intuitively know when you're making people uncomfortable and not be a weirdo freak."

#sux when somebody is replying to somebody on Twitter or wherever #probably unaware how they come across and somebody is like hey youre being a weirdo #and they reply oh sorry I'm autistic i didnt realize #and ppl are like not a fucking excuse my autistic friends would never make social mistakes #like sorry. that is the disorder.#it is the unclear on social rules disorder #which is also obviously not an excuse to just get away with blatantly hurtful behavior either. lol
