*some spoilers to follow!* Randomly saw someone on #bookstagram talking about this book, The Mother In Law, and I decided to give it a chance!! EDITED UPDATE: I just finished it and wow! This was definitely better than I expected it to be. I 100% went back and forth on whether or not I hated Diana or if I completely agreed with her logic and I think that is so fun! I love an unreliable narrator lol. However, as a happily forever child free person myself, I rolled my eyes every time a male character made a comment about a woman’s eggs drying up or not making their career everything and the necessity of having a child, and I was so disappointed to find out that Nettie was actually not the child-free hero I was hoping she’d be, and instead was dying for a child more than anything. I guess i’m just looking for a child-free character to relate to but thats okay! Still a fun read. 4/5! Also! This is my first #ebook and #Libby is so cool? I cant believe ive never heard of it! My friend and I went on a thrift shop spree and I got all these for $65 yesterday! A few of these I’ve been wanting for a while so I’m really happy I managed to find them second hand 🎉♻️

📚October Wrap Up! 📚
Although I read quite a bit this month, I felt underwhelmed by a lot of them 😩. City of Brass and Kingdom of Copper have been my absolute favourites from the entire year! Both 5 ⭐️ reads! Capturing the Devil I gave 4 ⭐️, and Five Dark Fates and A Dogs Journey both only earned 3⭐️.
eBooks read 📱: Crystal Crowned (3 ⭐️), Truly Devious (2⭐️), Aurora Rising (3⭐️), House of Salt and Sorrows (3⭐️), Crown of Coral and Pearl (3⭐️), and The Poppy War (3⭐️).
Borrowed from my sister : The Wicked King (4⭐️)
I feel as though Crown of Coral and Pearl and House of Salt and Sorrows both started out really strong but when the main plot started unfurling it either fell flat or just got really confusing towards the end. 🤷‍♀️
