There was a time when Kate wanted to dye her hair red for the holidays. We were going to be hosting a series of soirees, so our mother told her no. Kate took it upon herself to do it anyway, and ended up with bright cherry red hair. I'm pretty sure mother popped a blood vessel. Our father was quite amused. There is a family Christmas card somewhere in which young Kate has red hair.

Happy holidays, everyone! If you don't celebrate Christmas or would just like a nice meal out, my restaurant will be open with a limited menu. It was put together by two of my chefs and I, and we will also be the ones cooking, so be sure to thank them! I hope to see you!

While my trip wasn't for leisure, I definitely enjoyed my stay. That being said, the real reason I flew to Las Vegas was to interview a potential chef! They are absolutely lovely and accepted my offer to work at my restaurant! Their main area of focus is sushi, but they gave me a variety of dishes to try, all of which were wonderful. I'm very excited to have them join my team!
