We confronted the ways the ways Colonization has hurt, harmed and abused us and our lineages. And we rooted in understanding of what relationships our parents and ancestors, had to Colonization and the ways it shaped their lives and we created rituals to heal them through the healing of ourselves. We trained hard and we rose in our collective power. We have been tricked to believe we can distance ourselves from the violence of the world. To do that we must distance ourselves further and further from our responsibility to each other, to Mother Earth, to the Sacred life that is being harmed and destroyed every day by the violence of this existence. Survival in a violent world takes relation to counter-violence as crucial to maintaining liberation. In a Colonized existence that inflicts violence on us daily in order to control and limit us- the response to violence should not be peace. Be in relation to the violence of the world with a counter-violence that re-members our indigenous and Ancestral honoring of the Warrior. The Divine Warrior embodies a strength and courage that transmutes rage in alignment with the power of Spirit- to protect and defend the Sacred. It should not take us having to experience the extremes of colonial-human violence to prepare ourselves to fight back. We know Gender Violence exists. We know Racial Violence exists. We know Xenophobic Violence exists. We know that oppressive violence is engrained in this living.
