Day 1 of the @indojaxsurf camp! It is a camp for people with disabilities but they also include siblings! So often, Kaleigh is left on the 'sidelines' while we deal with doctors, therapists and other service providers for Blake and spend countless hours, researching, advocating, and dealing with Blake's various behaviors and other issues. We have meet up's and events in the Down Syndrome community but she is really in the background. Not today! She caught her very first wave and wanted more! I was SO proud of her. She attended the event last year and would not even put the wet suit on. Today she charged! 🤙🏻🌊 🏄‍♀️ Blake started off his day with a bang, melted down, recovered and finished strong.
