Kaaaat. Last night I had a brainfart Obito might have created Kamui for no other reason than to NEVER be trapped again (damn rocks left him more scarred than Kishi's gonna give me lore for) and now I'm sobbing in a corner omg halp

There was a theory wandering around Tumblr somewhere about how the Mangekyo manifests in certain ways because of the trauma that caused it (Jossed, sadly, because apparently it just runs in bloodlines now), and tbh i like that interpretation a lot.

Favorite Fictional Characters: uhhhhhh....there are too many. Hmmmmm well my favorite fictional character would be Rhysand from the current book I’m reading(and trying to finish due to 82 chapters-crying-) A court of wings and ruin. Yes its an adult book. its the third book in the “A Court of Thorns and Roses” series and I love it. I got other books to read sadly but I get distracted so easily. 

Dream Trip: Japan and Rio (once again I have more)

Dream Job: My dream job I would like to work either as a graphic designer or get into animation. I love to draw alot and I always love to watch animated movies or cartoons to see how the animation is(grew up in a family of artist). I did two animations for class, a practice drawing of a cat on a wacom tablet(which according to my mom, I can make money on) and now I’m working on an rpg for my charcters that I’m drawing(currently still have alot to work on)

When was this Blog made: ummmm can’t remember. I started out with just a normal blog one year ago, my friend made me come back it this year and now I’m active again.

What made you decide to create this blog: hmmmmm, well I really like one piece XD. Story behind that. My friend talked about one piece all the time. She tell me the chapters, what happens in the anime, etc. I finally said let me watch it and I fell in love. Oh and the character? Oh right, I chose Nami because I really like her character (and her love of money). But really I grew to like her when I watched the arlong arc and yes I was crying. Oh and her character development I love alot. Other than that I pretty much binged watch one piece after I broke my wrist during a basketball practice XD

22. are there certain plants? flowers? fruits? spices? poison?

Oh, yes! An example of a flower that exists is called the Dawn Lily, a white Lily in the shape of fire lillies that contains powerful energy in each of it’s petals which are said to be able to sustain your life for an entire day. Eat a petal, and you won’t need to eat or drink for the rest of the day. The Dawn Lily is associated with the Princess Suren, representing her tenacious lifeforce and that of her Vritra kin. 

An example of a strong vine-like plant is the Baron of Strings, a black-purplish group of vines with thorns that like to grow on the edges of forests, protecting trees. The can’t be cut with metal, but if you’re strong you can try to pull them out. Beware, they regrow within a day and often begin growing toward whomever was cruelly pulling them out. It’s said this plant is infused with the will of a man once known by the same name, whom ensnared it’s foes with his wires.

There is a spice known as the mint-winter spice, a fresh tasting spice that tend to give off a cool feeling upon your tongue. It’s a spice people like to add to add with their vegetables, and is known to help clear the airways.

There also is a tough to find poison called the Cyan Briar, which is found within the Cyan Briar brush by extracting it from it’s thick bark. The poison is famous for mimicking the Vritra Jade Construct’s mental breakdown capabilities. Once digested, it causes the brain to disconnect with the body through strong hallucinetic visions, which can easily render the victim comatose before dying with false memories and thoughts. Legend says this plant became infused with the dragon Vritra’s blood as Indra came to slay him, causing it to become poisonous.

Ironically, the plant is full of nutrients and would have been edible if not for its poison.

23. what type of jewelry is typically sold/worn, if any? who would be the one to purchase it?

In especially the Jade Kingdoms, jade is considered to be holy and shows loyalty to the Royal family and is therefore worn by many of it’s citizens. Girls prefer to wear jade as a necklace for all to see, while men often slip a piece of jade somewhere in their garments. Jade is believed to protect them and bestow the Vritra’s protection upon them wherever they go.

A common tradition is to wear a Jade Ring when one comes of age. This tradition is surprisingly inspired by Duke Vandrake, whom uses his sealing abilities to create tangible crafts of jade. A jade ring is said to ward off evil. When one becomes of age, a piece of raw jade is haded to them and they must bring it to any Royal family member of the Jade Court. Presenting their piece, the youth asks for their blessing and request to modify it for them. Because the Vritra live for almost 10.000 years, they royal member will be there for them throughout their lifetime, thus strengthening their belief of the power of their blessing. A royal family member can refuse, but then always hands the request over to another member to craft the ring.

Duke Vandrake is for example a very popular candidate to have the rings crafted. He’s very popular amongst young girls especially.

25. what type of food do people eat in your world? is there some only few can afford?

The Jade Kingdom is quite a healthy nation, which focusses very much on a rich diet of vegetables as they grow in abundance in the kingdom thanks to their fortunate climate. There is meat of course, but vegetables are the big winner here. The King has done his best to make things as affordable as possible and keeps a very close tab on the course of the economy. 

Ironbark Root for example is a rare find; it’s a plant full of healing properties and is very wanted with many healers. It’s bark however is heavily sought after by construction workers so the two parties often trade with eachother to get the parts they need.

28. do you have a language for your book? are there any examples you want to share?

The main language will be English for now. I might re-make it in Dutch but English is my prefered style for now. 

I have a snippet from the next chapter if you like:

“The Duke breathed out a slow sigh as he slowly slid his hands into the pockets of his velvet jacket, his serpentine eyes slowly following the many spiralled facets of the Construct. It looked beautiful, yet so out of place as if one had found a vein of a prized gemstones. Anyone unfamiliar with it’s reputation would think the gods had given them a piece of their Eden to devour. It was this same stipulation that attempted to draw him in, as if seducing him to come closer and feel whatever promise it wanted to bestow upon him.

No doubt his cousin felt it as well, for when Vandrake cast a glance her way, he saw Suren fidgeting uncomfortably. No doubt a false promise, the Duke concluded whilst being painfully aware of it, for without the ring sitting around his cousin’s finger they’d both be two rotting carcasses on the bedrock below them. No matter how exquisite the Construct appeared to be, no one sane should underestimate this aoristic creation running in their clan’s blood.”

A2: What alignment are they? Chaotic neutral, lawful evil, et cetera…

Suren would be Neutral Good. Vandrake is Chaotic Neutral, Maehara would be Lawful Good. Fionne and Sariel however, the mothers of Suren and Vandrake respectively, both are Lawful Evil. King Belmont is True Neutral.

A13: Does your OC have any phobias? If so, where did they come from?

If I may speak for Suren, Suren has phonophobia which is the fear of loud sounds and voices. The way her family has raised her has left traumatic scars on her which translates into hypersensitivity for loud noises. Speaking loudly makes her flinch and sometimes triggers a panic attack. This often happens with people she’s not familiar with.

A17: What’s one of your OC’s proudest moments of themselves?

For Suren, it has to be the relationship she’s developped with the Jade Knights. No one in the royal family has direct contact with the Knights, and so Suren is the only one. Even though they take their orders directly from the King, Suren likes to come over and sit and talk with them and learns from them about how the world outside the castle works. They’re basically Suren’s newsfeed while Suren brings them treats and asks them about their life. Because of this, Suren often delivers messages from the Knights to the King himself as the Knight prefer to tell Suren directly.

Vandrake single-handedly constructed a small group of elite fighters to help guard the Southern Kingdom’s coastal borders. These five women are named the Duke’s Alabaster Fangs and are personally trained in the sealing arts unique to Vandrake. Because of this, no warlord attempted to invade the kingdom but rather prefer to take the diplomatic approach in trade.

For Maehara it’s rather simple: becoming a Jade Knight. His work as a Knight helps him provide for his mother as they grew up poor and he bought her a new house close to the castle grounds. He often drags Suren with him secretly so she can have a break from her toxic environment and his mother, Alma, loves to teach Suren how to cook and try new receipes with her.

G6: Do they have any favorite childhood memories?

This is a rather hard one, for Suren and Vandrake both. As Vritra age differently, the first 500 years of their life was nothing but drillings in politics, behavior and social skills and failing to meet up with their expectations resulted in severe punishment. Suren has one little memory that reminds her of the nights she spend alone in her room, whilst not being in the right emotional state, when she saw small blue butterflies appear in front of her room’s windows. She’d curiously step on the balcony and chase these butterflies as they seemed to play with her before disappearing altogether. This repeated every night she felt down and alone. As Suren grew up, she felt it was someone’s magic trying to cheer her up though she never figured out who it was that tried to reassure her all those nights. She is quietly searching for this person though.

L1: How have your characters changed since you created them?

I think not too much, but more tweaked for the better. With Suren I constantly swim in between making her too timid or too melancholic, but these are both part of her nature. Her lack of action, or rather taking control of her life can be a little upsetting, but I assure you it’s part of her coming growth. In real life, things aren’t always as easy as taking control over a situation, and it irks me people always so easily scream this phrase. No, it’s not easy. It can come with dire consequences too. Suren is I think a test to see how it can work with a written character.

As for Vandrake, ahaha the boy’s not really changed if anything there’s so much I still gotta reveal to you about him in jade Kingdoms. Vandrake’s role is gonna be huge, and very, very depressing. It’s not gonna be pretty. It’s why I’m also adding some humor to Jade Kingdoms, because it’s going to be a rather dark story with some ugly aspects of life in it.

L9: How did you come up with your OC?

I have more troubles with females than males really. D: At first I had Suren’s name, and was like “I want a character that has my favorite color, so she’s gotta be green!” Nanbaka was really just an excuse to let go of a standard character and I made her as colourful as I could by adding elements from my inspiration folders. And then you draw, and I always give girls the most basic outfits so I can work from there. When I had Suren and decided to work on her family I used Suren as ‘template’ and selected her hair to be the base and worked from there. 

Suren was the most work, I’ll admit. Vandrake came after, and so did Suren’s mother, father and Vandrake mother. But I’m happy with how they ended up, and with Suren I just want to crawl under her hair and fondle her big bewbs because she’s soft and needs the love. ;p

MAEHARA: Poor ass man still living with his momma made zero money because of his loudmouth personality. Rumored to have been a man-hoe because of the tall-dark-and-handsome description. Couldn’t cook for shit, momma still needed to provide him food even though he’s in his late 30s. Ended up joining the edgy, super elite Knighthood to drool over his not-girlfriend Princess in order to bring in the ka-ching to buy bling for said momma. Don’t come between this boi and his momma.

Also, reported to be very good in bed. Shaves his legs and…other parts. Gives blowjobs. Don’t feed after eleven tho.

This may sound weird, but I always turn to the game Mortal Kombat to calm my anxious ass down. XD It’s full of good memories for me, so I’m always up for it.

So like, that’s gotta be Kiss From a Rose by Seal. Not because I’m such a romantic, but I find that song so pretty it’s not even funny anymore.You can wake me up for it everytime.  XD

I think space, the ocean can make me a little sad. I don’t know why though, but it just does…so defiantly space.

16. if you could pick any planet besides earth, where would you live?

Kek. Uh….Neptune? Or Saturn? I have a thing for the gas giants, they’re so interesting. 

18. what animal would you keep as a pet, if you could?

I’d so want to have a peacock. They scream like crazy tho, but peacocks! :D

25. what country’s history do you find the most interesting?

I said it to @melpothalia, I really like China’s history. It’s got rich history, women weren’t always treated like they didn’t matter, and it was able to stand against armies and such.

32. do you have any strange interests?

I like sniffing paper. Like every newspaper or whatever the heck the postman shoves through the mailbox, paper is fun to sniff. Does that count? XDD

33. do you have any strange fears?

I’ll tell you what’s funny; even though I have anxiety disorder, I really don’t have strange fears. And while it doesn’t take much to trigger the shit out of me, I’ve got to admit my fears are pretty….normal. XD
