i know a lot of people like to headcanon that silver is the future child/descendant of some other existing character(s) but personally i like silver way more as some random kid who wasnt really anyone special but decided he was going to be the one to fix the destroyed world he was born into
#also none of the suggestions people have for who his parents or ancestors are out of the existing sonic cast make any sense to me#whether its from a timeline perspective or from a ''they would NOT have a kid/have a kid together'' perspective#sorry#and i just dont see why he Has to be related to the existing hedgehogs#like i dont see anyone insisting honey and blaze must be related because theyre both cats#surely theres some random unnamed hedgehogs out there in the present
