I wonder how close Daniel is to needing bifocals
#like i know he's pretty blind but i don't know HOW blind#stargate#daniel jackson#for that matter i wonder if i'll ever need bifocals#sure my eyesight got marginally better between my last eye exam (WELL over a year ago; i am FAR overdue for another) and the one before#but i wonder how much is from me wearing my glasses less often at home bc i got tired of pushing them back up my nose every five minutes#while hunched over my notebooks and sketchbooks and how much is attributed to the astigmatism that i apparently have#i was never quite clear on that; the first place i got an eye exam they said i didn't but the second place said i did and that the first#guys had written me a prescription for astigmatism#maybe one of them just has no clue what astigmatism is: i know /i/ sure don't#also the place i went for my last (one? two? who knows we changed like every year) exam said nothing on the subject and i forgot to ask#anyway my whole family wears glasses and i take after my dad: my mother and sister are both a little farsighted; my dad and i are terribly#nearsighted and have astigmatism (allegedly) and he needs bifocals#lmao when i was little i thought he needed them bc he couldn't see far away OR close up but when i got older i came to realise that nope#he just has so much trouble seeing far away that normal corrective lenses make already close-up objects TOO close to focus on#ANYWAY ignore me i was just thinking about this for some reason and of course my thoughts naturally turned to danny too#i am way too obsessed with danny and sg in general i am thinking about them nigh constantly
