I decided, today, to make a post about the game that started it all. And by it I mean, started Mork Borg and all that have used its game mechanics. (also the indie TTRPG that got me interested in the concept of Non-D&D tabletop systems)

If you haven’t played Mork Borg, you really should. It is great for a quick and dirty game, thrown together. But I could definitely live here for a while, doing a long campaign here would be great too. Expanding the nearly obvious conspiracy behind the basilisks and maybe even giving the players an opportunity to forestall the end of everything.

Recently, my friends and I have started working our way through all the TTRPGs we own. Mork Borg was the first. We all survived! And sort of made friends with a crystal demon who saved us in the end.

I’d love to, one day, do a fictional play… as in, write down a game of Mork Borg or other TTRPGs as if it were a story. Like an actual play… but… fictional… Remember folks, if you see that term, you heard it here first!
