Giống như Macbook Air 2019, mẫu laptop năm nay cũng sẽ có chất liệu hoàn thiện thân máy từ nhôm giúp trọng lượng máy nhẹ hơn đáng kể và con số ấy dừng lại ở mức 1.29 kg.

Không biết rằng dòng Macbook năm nay có bị một số vấn đề như máy nóng lên quá nhanh, quạt tản nhiệt quá ồn hay thậm chí là treo máy như những mẫu Macbook Air thế hệ trước. Hy vọng khi có sản phẩm trên tay để trực tiếp trải nghiệm nhiều hơn về hiệu năng cũng như xem máy có nóng quá hay không.

So với MacBook Air 2018, CPU mới cho hiệu năng xử lý mạnh hơn gấp đôi, hiệu năng đồ họa được cải thiện 80% nhờ sử dụng GPU Intel Iris Plus thế hệ mới. Nhờ đó trải nghiệm chơi game hay chỉnh sửa video sẽ được cải thiện nhanh chóng và mượt mà hơn bao giờ hết.

Một điểm đáng chú ý của MacBook Air 2020 chính là sẽ có bộ nhớ trong thấp nhất SSD 256 GB, cao gấp đôi so với bản 2019 là SSD 128 GB. Người dùng cũng có thể lựa chọn các phiên bản với SSD cao hơn như SSD 512 GB, SSD 1 TB hoặc SSD 2 TB. MacBook Air 2020 có 2 phiên bản RAM 8 GB hoặc 16 GB chuẩn LPDDR4X.

Màn hình xịn sò, giải trí cực đã

Về màn hình, Macbook Air 2020 sẽ không có quá nhiều thay đổi. Vẫn là màn hình Retina 13.3 inch độ phân giải 2.560 x 1.600 pixel với độ chính xác màu cao hơn 48% so với màn hình thông thường, hỗ trợ công nghệ True Tone giúp điều chỉnh màu sắc và cường độ ánh sáng màn hình phù hợp với môi trường xung quanh.

Điểm đáng chú ý nhất trên Macbook Air 2020 chính là bàn phím đã được thiết kế lại. Chiếp laptop này sẽ được trang bị bàn phím cắt kéo giống như trên các mẫu Macbook Pro thay vì bàn phím cánh bướm như trên các thế hệ Macbook Air trước.

Giá bán là điểm đáng chú ý nhất trên Macbook Air 2020, giá khởi điểm cho bản cấu hình thấp nhất Core i3, SSD 256 GB là 999 USD (khoảng 23.2 triệu đồng) thấp hơn 100 USD (khoảng 2.3 triệu đồng) so với mức giá 1.099 USD (khoảng 25.5 triệu đồng) với SSD 128 GB của Macbook Air 2019.

Bạn phải trả thêm khoảng 180 USD (khoảng 4.2 triệu đồng) để nâng cấp RAM từ 8 GB lên 16 GB và dĩ nhiên phải được nâng cấp từ chính nhà máy của Apple, nghĩa là sau khi xuất xưởng chiếc Macbook của bạn sẽ không thể thay thế RAM được nữa vì đã được hàn cố định trên bo mạch chủ của máy.

Tổng kết và trả lời câu hỏi liệu có nên mua Macbook Air 2020 không?

Với mức giá thấp hơn giúp tiếp cận người nhiều dùng, bàn phím được cải tiến cho trải nghiệm gõ được tốt, ít bám bụi bẩn và giảm tỷ lệ hư hỏng bàn phím (so với công nghệ cánh bướm trước đây). Màn hình đẹp, cấu hình được nâng cấp, ổ cứng SSD rộng rãi hơn, GPU đồ họa cho tốc độ nhanh hơn 80% phù hợp cho việc sử dụng các tác vụ nặng như chỉnh sửa và render ảnh số lượng lớn. Riêng việc dựng và render video chắc hẳn vẫn sẽ làm khó chiếc máy này vì giới hạn hiệu năng.

Đối với mình, mình quyết định rất mạnh mẽ trong việc chuyển đổi từ mẫu Macbook Pro cũ từ năm 2017 sang Macbook Air 2020. Vì thực tế là dòng Air sẽ có hiệu năng không thể bằng dòng Pro, tuy nhiên với thiết kế tinh tế, mỏng hơn, nhẹ hơn kha khá cùng với màn hình đẹp đã khiến mình siêu lòng. Quan trọng nhất là tác vụ mình thường sử dụng hiện tại sẽ dừng ở lướt web, giải trí bằng việc xem video và thường xuyên gõ văn bản. Macbook Air 2020 là sự lựa chọn quá ổn quá hợp lý rồi.

So without further ado here is my very own definitive list of the Top UK Tech Youtubers at the moment…

10. Barbra Willow

This is a channel run by a chap named Jay. I have no idea what the story is behind the name Barbra Willow, if you know…let me know. I have got to respect the hustle, it’s really difficult getting recognition in the early days. Jay has recently hit 4K subs! Which is awesome. The good thing about channels like this is you get to see a lot of tech that a lot of the big players will turn their noses up at…

9. Tech Spurt

So this channel is run by Chris from Recombu a massive tech website. I recently met Chris and asked him why he started his own channel Tech Spurt. He said it’s his bit on the side…which is fair enough. This is a great channel, Chris is incredibly experienced & on top of that he has access to all the latest tech through his recombu connects.

I fully expect him to surpass my humble following very quickly… definitely one to watch. Check out the Tech Spurt

8. WhatGear

Right so I am shamefully putting myself in the list…but you know what the numbers don’t lie. over 17 million watched minutes… that’s 32.2 calendar years of WhatGear video content consumed… a respectable social media following on insta, twitter & Fb… and I’m still hustling.

I built WhatGear from scratch with no sponsors, no affiliation with big-name websites or companies backing me… literally just had to grind it out with whatever I could get my hands on to review. You will see the progression if you look back at my earlier videos. I’ll never forget my 1st official product review from winnergear the montar car mount, I still use it today. If you get a chance take a look at 1st videos I ever made and you will see how the channel has grown without sponsors and the support of 3rd parties.

7. Btekt

Now, this is a strange one because for the longest time this channel was run by Basil from Btekt… I was a big fan and followed it quite avidly…now basil has jumped ship to techradar…who got some serious boos at the oneplus 6 launch event. I was there no word of a lie.

Anyway the BTekt channel is now run by David who I’m not that familiar with, but he has inherited the credibility, sponsors and contacts with the big brands so expect to see the latest tech in a timely manner here.

6. Chigz Tech

So I particularly like this channel because Chigz really doesn’t follow suit with a lot of tech youtubers out there. On this Chigz Tech Reviews, you’re going to see all kinds of crazy tech a lot of it not mainstream. There is so much tech being developed every day (a lot of it from China lets be honest). You can find it all here!

5. Beginners Tech

This is a great channel run by Ryan. The great thing about BeginnersTech it is quite different from all of the channels mentioned, and from the ones I’m about to mention. Ryan focuses a lot on computer accessories & peripherals, as well as gaming mods and setups.

All the videos are beautifully shot and well presented. A really great channel! I highly recommend you check it out. Also I think Ryan might be the only Scottish Tech YouTuber on the planet! Check out Beginners Tech

4. The Tech Chap

So this channel is presented by a proper English fellow, well-spoken queens English…if I do say so myself. Tom is very knowledgeable about all things tech. plus all the big brands recognize him for his significant following.

So again expect the latest and greatest tech from the Tech Chap. Pour yourself a cup ‘o’ tea kick back & watch some UK tech reviews.

3. ASBYT

Out of all the channels I’ve mentioned so far this is my favourite. This channel popped up on my feed out of nowhere, originally ASBYT was all about Kodi and Kodi related stuff, nowadays you can catch nearly daily content on awesome tech news and reviews, presented with a good bit of humor.

I really enjoy the content on the ASBYT channel…I know how difficult it is to get noticed and ASBYT has made it! May the force with you ASBYT.

2. SuperSaf

Of course, it is Super Saf on SuperSaf TV… try saying that 3 times first. So I got to meet Saf at the oneplus 6 launch in 2018 where TechRadar got booed by the entire audience. He’s a really cool dude. He clearly has affiliations with all the big brands out there, there are very UK Tech Youtubers out there today that have access to the top tech like Saf.

So expect the latest tech, beautifully shot videos…not too dissimilar from unbox-therapy style I must say. Awesome content & his thumbnail game is off the charts.

1. MrWhoseTheBoss

So I also met Arun from MrWhoseTheBoss at the Oneplus event (tech radar booed off stage). He was super cool even took time to give me some pointers about YouTube. I’ll be honest on my road as an emerging Tech YouTuber Arun is the 1st tech YouTuber to ever drop any knowledge. I really respect that!

Anyway beautifully shot vids, incredibly knowledgeable, you will see all the latest tech reviews and even app reviews and emerging tech news…all delivered very professionally…I guess you could call him the UK’s MKBHD in a way. So Arun from MrWhoseTheBoss is the UK’s top tech YouTuber to date!

The Top 10 UK Tech Influencers - British Tech YouTubers

So I've been contemplating whether to write this article for awhile now. I think in 2018-2019 the Tech YouTuber world is quite crowded... However, the UK Tech influencer is quite rare. So let me shine some light on some of the UK Tech YouTubers out there.

So without further ado here is my very own definitive list of the Top UK Tech Youtubers at the moment…
