Rain is fun when you’re a child splashing in puddles but as an adult it’s just one more way your day can be ruined. Dean tried not to think about Sam—where he was, what he was doing. He wasn’t here and now Dean was stuck with Castiel as his partner for this hunt. Dean wondered if he was sitting on a beach down here drinking Mai Tais. Or if he’d taken a page out of Dean’s own book and was drowning his sorrow’s somewhere in a bar? He shook his head trying to clear his thoughts—he needed to focus on the case, not on Sam.

Together with Castiel, Sam works to save Dean and punish the monster who led to them being cast out of heaven.

It was summer and all I could think about was waves, beach and fun so I it was a quick decision what au should I make for this

Here's the piece that I signed in with and Im kinda hella proud with the wave because I'm not really good at drawing water but the vibes got me and I just couldn't allow myself to go easy on this one haha

And down there will be some sketches and character design stuff which I did when the idea for that au just came

This was the art piece that was claimed by @adunaphel-the-quiet and she wrote a beautiful and perfect story for it. I couldn't have wished for a better partner in this and I can't wait for you all to see what she created.

This was a BIG BANG so I painted two additional art pieces for her.

(because of course I wanted to paint Dean as well for reasons...)

And when I read my author's story, I also got inspired by a scene where Cas is hiding in the kelp.

Hey everyone! Here it is, the SPN AU Bang. Allows both SPN and RPF, check out the guidelines and FAQ will be posted next week, but here is the gist:

What is the SPN AU Big Bang?

A big bang is an event where an author writes a story for an artist to claim and create art for! In this particular bang, the author’s pieces will be non-canon. This means you could have the characters in a different world: historic AU, college AU, or even a prison AU. or, the characters themselves aren't canon-compliant: Dean is a firefighter, and Charlie is an interior designer, Jared is a Mechanic. Or, lastly, you can change major events on the show: living in the apocalypse world, Croatian takes over, or Mary never dies. For RPF, any world where the actors are doing something different with their occupation works.

Here are some ideas:

Dean is a firefighter, Castiel is an ambulance medic, and they meet on the site of a disaster.

Sam is thrown by one of the angels into an alternate universe where everyone is a vampire. 

Dean and Sam never stop the apocalypse, they deal with the consequences.

Jared is a lawyer, Jensen is his client.

Jared and Jensen film supernatural but instead of 4 years, it’s a 10 year difference; how Jensen deals with trying to be a father figure to the much younger 17-year-old actor.

This Bang features two categories:

A Mini Bang, which is a work with a minimum of 5K words and a banner + 1 piece of art.

A Big Bang, which is a work with a minimum of 10K words and a banner + 2 pieces of art.
