it took me a second to realize what u meant, but FAF, and then it hit me ... yes, cat cuddles are great, and speaking of adhd I was talking to my work colleague about yesterday well it randomly came up ...

I can only recommend to everyone to talk to the people around you about adhd (and other things like that but since I am most familiar with that I don't wanna speak on behalf of other things)

For people with adhd it can be relieving to know other people have similar issues and no, you are not failing, you are just faced with different type of challenges that you probably weren't prepared for by school / other education places. Instead you were taught solutions for problems that you don't have (since most of our societally shared knowledge is still based on neurotypical brains).

And for people without adhd it can be super interesting to know how other types of brains work and (assuming they are not dicks) how they can accommodate to that. A uni friend of mine (who does not have adhd) is actually super good at 'channeling my adhd' (that's what we call it because we love that it makes it sound like a superpower) where our interaction brings out the best sides of my adhd and we can come up and work through interesting and creative projects successfully. We don't know yet how it works but once we figure it out, we're gonna tell everyone.

Still in my 'overwhelmed by the world and my adhd brain is kicking my ass' era (adhd being at its worst during pride disability month is a little bit funny; still sucks but I appreciate the irony)

I miss the fun Tumblr hours too! So in honor of work-life-balance (I am trying my best okay) I have now turned off my computer and I will draw something for FAF while watching some old dteam videos 🥰
