25/10 Carte chance au jeu de la roulette du climat. Le temps est ouf ! Petit dej au bord de la piscine de l'auberge pour bien commencer la journée. Bonne humeur au rdv. Scooter direction Sao Beach au Sud de l'île. La route est un peu triste. Des dizaines et des dizaines de resorts en construction poussent le long de la côte. D'ici 5 ans l'île aura perdu tout son charme. Les jungles sauvages auront laissé place aux buildings. Les chemins de terre aux routes goudronnées. Les plages aux piscines des hôtels. Cette folie qu'a l’Homme de tout détruire me sidère. Au diable l'environnement ! Business is business. Arrivée à Bai Sao (autrement dit Sao Beach, car « bai » ça veut dire plage en vietnamien) c'est le paradis. Plage paradisiaque : sable blanc, eau turquoise, transats pour 50K VND la journée (soit 2€). Et là on se dit qu'on kiffe grave notre vie. Vers 15:30 on bouge vers Suoi Tranh Waterfalls. Nous qui pensions qu'on serait seules au milieu de la jungle, on découvre que c'est quand même assez touristique. C'est sûr, on va se retrouver au milieu de cinquante touristes viet. Mais après 20 minutes de marche, bonne surprise à l'arrivée : on a la cascade pour nous. Fraîcheur de l'eau de source qui change des 30°C de l'eau de Sao Beach. Ca fait du bien à nos coups de soleil. Et oui, car on avait oublié la crème solaire. Vous imaginez même la rougeur de nos visages. Coucher du soleil sur la plage, au Rhory’s. Ambiance romantique avec la petite musique en fond. Ok ça fait un peu cliché fleur bleu mais je me dis que ça doit être cool de venir ici avec son amoureux. On rentre se doucher et mettre de l'après soleil. On mange à l'auberge parce qu'ils ont des pâtes ! Et qu'on est en manque de pâtes depuis qu'on est au Vietnam. Puis on sort au House Bar. On a l'impression d'être dans une maison. Normal, me direz-vous, ça s'appelle le « House » Bar. Perspicaces. Concours de beer pong et on gagne avec Jess. Ca nous rappelle Penang. Nostalgie. Et quand on en a marre, on retourne au Rory's avec cette idée géniale de prendre un bain de minuit. Aussitôt dit, aussitôt fait. Et nous voilà dans l'eau en culottes à 00:45, Jess, H, M et moi. Y'a juste C qui ne se joint pas à nous, malgré notre insistance relou, car : C n'aime pas trop la mer (surtout quand elle voit pas le fond) C a froid (même quand tout le monde a chaud) J'aime les nouvelles expériences comme celles-ci. Les petits plaisirs un peu débiles mais dont on se souvient. Et ce qui est cool avec mes colocs c'est qu'on se conforte assez facilement dans ce genre d'idées connes qui paraissent absolument formidables sur le moment. J'avais jamais pris de bain de minuit. Du coup je suis contente. M me dit que c'est pas un vrai bain de minuit parce qu'il est plus de minuit. Mais comme il est minuit 45 et que dans « minuit 45 » il y a « minuit », pour moi c'est un vrai bain de minuit. Sinon il aurait fallu l'appeler un bain de « minuit pile ». Et comme c'est pas préciser dans la formulation… Vous êtes d'accord avec moi j'espère ? Bref, j'ai pris un bain de minuit.
