I enjoy working with more difficult fibers like Sunshine Pony Beachball’s UV react hair. The after is all the more satisfying.

Her hair still changes color in the sun!

It’s My Little Monday! With...Sunshine Pony Beach Ball! And...here’s a rare photo for the internet. Not that Beachball herself is rare (she’s not, particularly), but one who’s hair is THIS mint...actually really is. So, save up the images while you see them here at Tumblr. The issue with all of these ponies is that they had super-terrible EZ-Frizz hair. The white strip there is UV change hair that turns pink in the sun. That type of hair (whatever it is made from) has always been dodgy, but in the 80s it was really not great. However, oddly, the color hair (on all 6 of them) blue here, ALSO was prone to dryness and frizzing even though it should have just been regular hair like the other ponies had? Either way, this results in just awful hair most of the time, as most of the set had natural curls.  This really super nice one of her, I just got. It is probably similar to one who’d just come off the card and I had not seen. one like this before, so she was a must-buy even though I already have 2 of Beach Ball. (One’s an alt-rehair--who you can also see already posted here) Whoever had this must have likely never even brushed the hair much. The tail, despite that is a tad crinkled at the end, and yes, the hair does feel dry (for no reason) so even being as ‘perfect’ as this, she’s still not even totally immune. She is a pretty and bold character though, that is great to see in nice shape!

This Sunshine Pony Beachball is actually the one from my personal collection, but got her hair reset to sell because I got a nicer looking Beachball in a lot of other ponies.
