i think REVIVED is a much more fitting song for cwilbur if you look at it through the lenses of "this is how he wants to be perceived, how he tries to make others think he is like" and not "this is how he is actually is"

i think that after cwilbur was revived he noticed how cquackitys eyes were more dull, and maybe thats just because one of them were fake but it was still something he noticed. and every now and then when they argued cwilbur would see that spark in cquackitys eyes again. and maybe it was just because cwilbur liked feeling like he could make a difference, liked feeling like he mattered, but seeing that spark almost made being alone for so long worth it.

thinking about ctommy being taught that attachment was bad. thinking about how easily he got attached to things and people. thinking about how he wasnt allowed to be attached to anything in exile.

if you like doomed siblings who only have eachother watch/read asoue. rant underneath the cut

- you dont have to wait for it to get good because it immediately gets to the point

- there are books so if you prefer reading over watching theyre fucking amazing, i read the shit out of them when younger and can confirm that they are still the best book series ive ever read

- speaking of which the book covers are beautiful, which obviously isnt mandatory for a good book but just LOOK AT THEM!! (theres more than this but these r my personal favorites..)

- theres not a bunch of romance so if ur romance repulsed or just dont like that stuff u dont have to really worry about that

- kids who are intelligent and not in the stereotypical "oh this guy is annoying" type of way (this was my favorite thing about asoue growing up because im audhd and seeing main characters around my age that were like me made me feel more seen and less alone)

- really funny disguises. not going to spoil it but just really funny disguises

- heavily coded + canon queer characters

- idk if this is the case for everyone, but if ur in an abusive/toxic home it helped/helps me distract myself and focus on the characters problems instead of getting absorbed in mine. also helped me get out of the mindset that i have it worse than everyone else

- banger intro (in my opinion, apparently some people hate it but younger me was singing that shit LOUD)

- MORALLY GREY CHARACTERS!! god i love morally grey characters

its genuinely SOOO good, both the show and books. i dont recommend the movie but some people like it.. if u watch it and enjoy it u should send me an ask about why u liked it because i personally dont see the appeal but im open to opinions!! :3

i refer to ctntduo as queer platonic but honestly like. even that isnt really correct because there was just soooo much there that cannot be described. they were just them and no label perfectly fits them because they had so much going on

idk how to word this but i think everyone is lowkey traumatized from having to do everything right during 2021-ish or else you'd be cancelled and now that we aren't in that era people think it's okay to treat creators like they aren't people and ignore boundaries when in reality that is not the truth

cdream apologists genuinely scare me not in a funny way but in the way that most of them say that because he was nice sometimes he wasnt 'actually abusive' and that is scary because that is how abusers are. they will be nice and treat others and you well and then hurt you and keep doing that over and over to the point where you dont know what reality is and you go "oh, well theyre nice sometimes so it doesnt matter"

dsmp using sign language if you even care. ctommy and ctubbo often signing to eachother because they both cant hear very well and ctubbo cant read lips due to being half blind. cranboo unable to fully learn it because they cant remember anything for the life of them but still trying their best. cwilbur knowing the basics and teasingly correcting cquackity whenever he just barely messes up and eventually helping him learn it better. during manburg cquackity subtly signing to ctubbo whenever hes worried and vice versa. if you even care

being a c!bbq main back in the day was crazy because the c!skephalo truthers hated c!quackity for interfering with their cubitos and most c!quackity mains were focused on his toxic yaoi with other characters so theyd look at you weird if you even mentioned them. and now that qsmp exists theres way more content for them
