NCT hybrid au? With the girls as well?

“Chenle bought Hyejin today, she’s upstairs,”

The club is set out more like a bar, there is a dance floor that isn’t used often as they make more money on the expensive drinks they serve here. Sunmi was quick to listen to Johnny, the bear hybrid behind the bar, before wandering upstairs.

The VIP section overlooks the entire club, plush lounges spaced apart with marble tables in each. There’s a curtain for privacy, which can be drawn by the client.

But the deer hybrid was headed towards the back office, which wasn’t really used as an office. Having four club owners meant they all had their own space, in the basement of the club that they had renovated.

The back office was used as a room for the omega hybrids in their odd family. It was stocked with plush toys and soft mats, comfy chairs and plenty of snacks.

Sunmi opened the door, cooing to find Hyejin sat on the beanbag munching on her snacks. The bunny hybrid’s ears twirled around, nose wiggling before she broke into a big smile.

“Sunmi!” She giggled, “LeLe said Jinmi was bringing you today!”

“It’s a big meeting today with investors,” Sunmi took a seat beside her, the bunny hybrid basically crawling into her lap, “It’s been so long since you’ve been here,”

Hyejin was rarely bought to the club, Chenle, her owner and one of the club owners, didn’t like to bring her out. While their group consisted of a range of hybrids, Hyejin sat at the bottom of the food chain.

“I ask Lele to come sometimes but he says no-“

The door to the office suddenly slammed open, Sunmi jumped in surprise. Her ears raised, lowering only slightly as they saw the male at the door.

Yuta was one of the hybrids that worked the club, he mostly stuck to the VIP section and was called out only as a last resort.

After all, he was a dragon hybrid.

“Hyejinnie!” Yuta cooed happily and basically snatched up the bunny, “It’s been so long! My fluffy bun..,”

Sunmi smiled softly, Hyejin was dotted on by the whole group. Yuta sat with Hyejin in her lap, the dragon softly smoothing out her ears and basically sending her into a sleepy haze.

“I missed you too, Yuta,” Hyejin chittered happily, “I was supposed to come for Jinmi’s birthday but I was in heat,”

“That’s alright,” Sunmi smiled, “It happens,”

“Haechan helped me through it, Lele was thinking of making him my permanent heat partner,”

The sudden confession had Yuta stopping, hands still on the white fluffy ears he was caressing. Even Sunmi tilted her head, ears raised in surprise.

As an omega prey, Hyejin wasn’t given the same freedoms as most other hybrids. They were required to have an owner, unlike the others who were simply required to stay on a registry. Bunnies were rare.

“Haechan?” Yuta hissed lowly, “The bear cub?”

Haechan was one of their bartenders alongside Johnny. He was younger than the bar manager but they’d grown up in the same den.

Much to their dismay, Hyejin was snoozing happily against Yuta’s shoulder.

“I thought she was getting mated with Jeno,” Sunmi whispered.

Jeno was a Doberman hybrid that helped work the door.

“Jeno?” Yuta scoffed, “Mark should be her-“

“You know Chenle won’t let that happen, not after last time,”

Everyone knew about the New Years incident and the aftermath of the entire thing. The results had been that the wolf pack weren’t allowed anywhere near the resident bunny.

The wolf pack were the club’s man security, consisting of Taeyong, Sophia, Mark, Jungwoo and Jaemin.

The door to the office opened again, this time Chenle and Jinmi stepping in to collect there hybrids. It was obvious the meeting was over, Sunmi’s ears flicking before Yuta growled at Chenle.

“You made Haechan her heat partner?”

Chenle sighed as he scooped up his hybrid, “It’s none of your business, Yuta,”

The dragon hybrid was happy with the answer, his eyes turning a deep fire orange as they left the room. Sunmi just frowned, stepping next to Jinmi.

“Luckily we won’t have to deal with that with you,” Jinmi whispered.

“Luckily..,” Sunmi whispered back, her ears falling flat.

Jinmi wolf au? Maybe when the girls see her again and find out she’s alive?

Sunmi stared at the locket on the table in front of herself, a deep frown on her features. It was the only thing they had left of Jinmi, the locket that Kun had made for her before he died. It was a thin gold chain with a silver flower that opened up.

Tracking spells were easy but nothing moved after the spell, the locket held no more power in it.

“She’s gone..,” Sunmi’s voice broke, “I don’t know why you wanted to re-try this, Hendery, it’s been years,”

“We can track Sophia?” Taeyong spoke up, “Something snapped her into a frenzy, Sophia wouldn’t just leave-“

“Or maybe Sophia finally snapped,” Johnny broke the alpha’s sentence, “She’s been through a lot,”

Sunmi gently picked up the locket, holding it in her palm. She had held onto it, as Jinmi hadn’t been given a grave out of respect for the new Luna of the pack.

“Sophia wouldn’t leave me,” Taeyong fought back.

“Where’s Sophia?”

All eyes turned to the hallway, Hyejin standing and staring at the elder pack members. She was in her pyjamas, Yuta quickly ushering her to his side.

“It’s nothing, Hyejinnie,” Yuta cooed softly to the young girl, “Do you need some warm milk?”

Hyejin stared at Yuta for a moment before her eyes fell on Sunmi. The witch looked at her younger sister, standing up and smiling.

“It’s late, Hyejin-“

“Jinmi’s not dead,” Hyejin whispered, “I can sense it,”

Yuta exhaled softly, “Hyejin-“

A howl rang through the air, all of them suddenly going stiff. It was Sophia’s howl, something soft yet powerful. Taeyong and Johnny were up first, followed by the other pack members.

There was a light snow outside Sunmi’s cabin, signalling the return of winter. A white wolf with blue eyes stood in the snow, a woman standing beside it.

The whole pack stopped.

“Jinmi!” Hyejin was the first one to call out, laughter in her voice, “You came back!”

“Hyejin..,” Jinmi whispered as the young girl hugged her.

Sunmi couldn’t help the sob that left her lips.

“How.. how are you alive?” Sunmi cried, “We couldn’t find you!”

“It’s a long story,” Sophia announced in her human form, Taeyong hugging her, “I told you I felt something,”

“Jinmi!” Hendery laughed, “You came back!”

The male wolf approached, only for a loud snarl to ring through the air. The girls backed away, Taeyong stepping in front of them. Jinmi looked back, a massive dark brown wolf sitting in the shadows.

“He’s harmless, Seung,” Jinmi whispered.

“Who is he?” Taeyong whispered.

“A lost dog,” Sophia mumbled before Jinmi gave her a look, “Jinmi’s mate,”

“From the Western territories,” Jinmi stepped beside the brown wolf, “I belong to his pack now,”

Hyejin’s face fell, “Your not staying?”

Jinmi shook her head, “I’m sorry, I.. I found my place, with Seung,”

Sunmi inhaled and nodded, softly placing her hands on Hyejin’s shoulders, “Mate bonds come above all else, it’s law,”

Hyejin looked conflicted while Sophia nodded.

“She’s safe and happy,” Sophia nodded, “That’s what matters,”
