How to Spot Authentic ray ban Sunglasses: A Guide to Buying ray ban Sunglasses Original
Ray ban sunglasses have become a staple in fashion, offering timeless style and unmatched quality. Whether you're looking for the classic Aviator, the bold Wayfarer, or the sophisticated Clubmaster, ray ban has something for everyone. In India, ray ban sunglasses are incredibly popular, and while that speaks volumes about the brand’s appeal, it also means counterfeit versions are all too common. Knowing how to spot authentic ray ban sunglasses is essential to ensure you’re investing in genuine, high-quality eyewear rather than wasting money on fakes. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the key signs of authenticity, tips for buying ray ban sunglasses in India, and how to confidently inspect your purchase.
Spotting Fake ray ban Sunglasses: Key Signs to Look Out For
When it comes to ray ban sunglasses original, there are several telltale signs that differentiate genuine products from counterfeits. By paying attention to details, you can ensure you’re getting what you paid for.
Frame Quality
Authentic ray ban sunglasses are known for their sturdy construction and quality materials. If you come across a pair that feels flimsy, lightweight, or has visible flaws like rough edges or misaligned parts, it’s likely a fake. The frames of genuine ray ban sunglasses are built to last, offering a solid feel that counterfeit versions simply can’t replicate.
Logos and Engravings
One of the most obvious ways to identify authentic ray ban glasses is by checking the logos. Genuine ray ban sunglasses feature the brand logo on the top right corner of the right lens. It should be clean, crisp, and perfectly placed, without any smudging or misspelling. Additionally, look for the "RB" engraving on the left lens near the hinge—this should be etched in, not just printed, which is a common flaw in counterfeit models.
Packaging and Case
Authentic ray ban sunglasses come with a high-quality case, usually black or brown, and a microfiber cleaning cloth with the ray ban logo. The packaging should also include an instruction manual and an authenticity card. If any of these components are missing, or if the packaging looks cheap or poorly printed, you might have a counterfeit on your hands. Original ray ban cases are well-made, with a soft interior and sturdy feel, not flimsy or easy to tear.
Tips for Buying Authentic ray ban Sunglasses in India
With so many options available, it’s important to know where and how to buy ray ban sunglasses in India to ensure you’re getting the real deal.
Choose Authorised Retailers
The safest way to purchase ray ban sunglasses original is to buy from authorised retailers. Brands like ray ban work with a network of trusted sellers, and purchasing from these sources reduces the risk of buying counterfeit products. You can visit official ray ban stores or reputable optical shops like Titan Eye+ or Lenskart, which often have ray ban collections. If you prefer online shopping, make sure the website is an authorised seller; the ray ban official website is always a reliable option.
Verify the Price
The price of ray ban sunglasses India can be a clue to their authenticity. While prices vary depending on the model, most original ray ban sunglasses fall within a certain range. If you come across a pair that seems unusually cheap, it could be a red flag. Always check the official ray ban website for the average price of the model you’re interested in and compare it with what’s being offered. If the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Check Seller Reviews and Authenticity
When shopping online, especially on marketplaces like Amazon or Flipkart, make sure to read seller reviews and verify their authenticity. Check for high ratings, detailed customer reviews, and pictures of the actual products received by buyers. Authorized sellers will also have a seller badge, indicating they have been vetted by the platform. Avoid buying from new or unverified sellers, as they might be selling counterfeit products.
Inspecting ray ban Glasses: Final Checklist Before Purchase
Even after selecting a trusted retailer, it’s essential to inspect your ray ban glasses or sunglasses closely before completing your purchase. Here’s a quick checklist:
Serial Number and Model Code
All ray ban sunglasses original come with a serial number printed on the inner side of the left temple (arm). This code includes the model number, frame size, and lens details. Make sure the code matches the details on the packaging and authenticity card. Counterfeit versions often have incorrect or missing serial numbers, so it’s a critical detail to check.
Engraved Logos and Hinge Quality
As mentioned earlier, check for the “RB” engraving on the left lens and the brand logo on the right lens. Additionally, inspect the hinges closely. Genuine ray ban sunglasses use high-quality metal hinges that are securely fastened to the frame, providing a smooth and firm movement when opening or closing the glasses. If the hinges feel loose or cheap, it’s a warning sign.
Lens Quality
Authentic ray ban sunglasses offer crystal-clear lenses with UV protection and anti-glare technology. The lenses should feel durable and show no signs of warping or distortion when you look through them. Additionally, many models come with polarized lenses, which should have a sticker indicating this feature. If the lenses appear too thin or scratch easily, they’re likely not genuine ray ban glasses.
Why Investing in Authentic ray ban Sunglasses Matters
Buying original ray ban sunglasses is not just about owning a fashion statement; it’s also about investing in quality and eye protection. Genuine ray ban glasses provide UV protection, ensuring your eyes are shielded from harmful sun rays, which is especially important in a country like India with its bright, sunny climate. Moreover, authentic ray ban sunglasses are built to last, offering a better overall experience and greater durability compared to counterfeit options.
By knowing how to spot the signs of fake ray ban sunglasses and where to buy genuine products in India, you can make an informed decision that ensures you get the style, comfort, and protection you deserve. Remember, while the ray ban sunglasses price in India might seem high compared to knock-offs, the quality, durability, and protection they offer make them well worth the investment.
So, next time you’re on the hunt for the perfect pair of ray ban sunglasses, keep these tips in mind. Not only will you be safeguarding your investment, but you’ll also be enjoying the timeless style that only authentic ray ban glasses can provide. Happy shopping!

Around the World Part 9
And here we are at the end of the story. There is one more story left to be told. And that's "The Rise of The Fallen" which is scheduled to come out on Sunday. Then the second and final part will come out on Tuesday.
In this one, we get the reactions from Steve's other friends and Murray appears for a final fuck you to Nancy. With another sweet cameo from Vickie.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8
~
They made their merry way through Europe, Murray keeping his eagle-eye out for fans and paparazzi alike, all while Steve took pictures of Eddie different outfits. His personal favorite was of Eddie standing next a group of Corroded Coffin fans at ‘The Shining” motel in Germany.
His hair was tucked up under a hat and he wore a baggy jeans and wore a fuzzy blue-grey sweater. He still had his scruff and the sunglasses almost made him look more like Johnny Depp, then Eddie Munson.
Eddie was sure to steer clear of blacks and leathers and to keep his hair out of his face. He even wore a bright orange wig in Romania and Vlad the Impaler’s real castle and not the one Hollywood used for their movies.
Everyone agreed he looked dreadful in the wig, but they couldn’t deny the damn thing’s effectiveness.
They parted with Murray in Greece. He had found a lovely little cottage to settled down in and so they bid their travel partner farewell.
There in while they were viewing the Hagia Sophia in Turkiye because Chrissy expressed an interest, they met Gareth and Shane.
“Eddie!” Gareth cried and ran into his arms for a big hug.
Robin and Steve were treated to the same bear hug from Shane. Steve held Shane at arms length and smiled. His twin looked good. There was a sparkle to his eyes that had been missing on the tour.
“You look great!” he enthused to Shane’s bemusement.
“Don’t I always?” Shane teased.
Steve laughed. “Of course you do, but you look...”
“Healthy,” Robin supplied.
Then Shane truly blushed. “Thanks. Someone suggested that maybe Muslim countries might be the way to go to avoid certain vices...”
“And how is that working out for you?” Steve asked with a smile.
“Good,” Shane said, “great even.”
They decided to tour the rest of Istanbul together. Just taking in all the beautiful sites.
Steve led Shane away from the group as they were saying their goodbyes.
“What’s on your mind, twin?” Shane asked, leaning up against the railing that looked out into the city.
“Eddie asked me to marry him.” Steve fiddled with the necklace as he spoke.
Shane gently took it from his nervous fingers and smiled. “What’s the charm on his necklace, then?”
“Wings.”
Shane’s smile widened. “Because of course it is. He’s going take good care of you, you know?”
Steve blushed and nodded his head. “Yeah. Yeah, I do.”
“Good,” Shane said with a soft smile. “Now tell me all about how he proposed.”
So he did. He launched into the whole story, including the mess in Venice.
“Nice to see he isn’t Mr. Perfect,” Shane said with a huff of laughter. “But good on him realizing he done fucked up, though.”
“Yeaaahhh,” Steve said with wry smile.
They walked back to the others and Eddie looked up at Steve and smiled. Steve smiled back.
~
Their tour through Asia saw them seeing haunted forests and beautiful tombs. They saw the Terracotta warriors and the Great Wall of China, Himeji Castle and Aokigahara in Japan, the Chaukhadi Tombs in Pakistan. Finally they arrived in beautiful India.
They stood in front of the one of the most well known tombs in the world. The Taj Mahal. It was even more beautiful in person than it was in pictures.
Eddie turned to Steve. “When I die are you going to build me as beautiful a tomb as this?”
“Yeah, babe,” Steve said, pulling him close. “Everyone will know the resting place of Eddie Munson, rockstar and best boyfriend in the world.”
Eddie blushed and ducked his head, his hair tucked away as had become the norm on this trip. “Shucks, Stevie. I thought you were going to say no.”
Steve laughed, giddy. “Never. Maybe we should start building it now, like the pyramids in Egypt so you can be interred with your guitar collection.”
Eddie’s went wide. “You do love me!” He wrapped his arms around Steve and kissed him soundly.
“The things they allow in public these days,” huffed a fond female voice behind them.
The four of them turned to see Nadia, Spence and a couple of well dressed young men that must have been Nadia’s brothers.
“Nadia! Spence!” Robin squealed and ran over to give them huge hugs. She even included the brothers in her enthusiastic greetings.
“These are my brothers, Indra and Jai,” Nadia said introducing them. “This is Spence’s friend, Steve, his boyfriend Eddie and Chrissy and Robin also Steve and Eddie’s friends.”
They all greeted each other.
“You know,” Eddie said with a huff of laughter. “If I didn’t know any better I’d say Stevie’s friends were social media stalking us as we’ve met up with everyone at this point.”
“You saw Simon and Shane, too?” Spence asked, tilting his head to the side. “I knew you guys were traveling the world, but Italy and Turkiye, as well?”
“We’ve been having a blast!” Robin said throwing her arms out. “Chrissy and I are heading back to the States after India, but Steve and Eddie are going to continue with Australia, some Africa and a couple places in South America before coming home to California.”
Spence bit his lip. “Are you sure that’s a good idea?” He waved vaguely at Eddie.
Eddie grinned. “We’ve been taking the proper precautions and we wanted to extend our trip out a little bit more.”
Spence looked to Steve who nodded.
“Well,” Nadia said with her own huff of laughter. “If the biggest thing that happened was Boston and that was almost two months ago and you haven’t been spotted since, I think they’ll be just fine.”
Spence looked down at her with a broad grin. “You’re right.”
“You best get used to that,” the younger of the two boys, Jai said, “she is always right. Even our mom agrees with her most of the time.”
“It’s frightening,” Indra said, with a nod.
Nadia just smiled up at Spence with find amusement.
“Yup!” Spence said, pressing his lips together. “Learning that lesson fast.”
Steve let out a laugh and soon everyone had joined in.
~
They toured India a little more with suggestions from Indra who was also a spooky fan and then they moved on.
Everywhere they went, Eddie had tried on a different look. Often blending in with the locals. There were exotic locales and spooky hotels. And in each place, Steve took a picture of Eddie incognito.
Steve laughed more in those four months then he had since he started being Abbadon in The Fallen.
Eddie was right, being a normal guy had its perks and getting to spend that with Eddie? Really made it all worth it.
Far too soon they were lifting off the runway in Mexico City on their way back to their lives.
“Well, Stevie,” Eddie said with a smile, “you ready to go back home?”
Steve nodded. “Yeah, I loved traveling the world. Especially with Chrissy and Robin. Seeing the guys doing so well. It really made it all worth while. But I want to sleep in my bed. I want to start writing again. I really didn’t that much while we were traveling. I learned so much out here about me, I almost can’t wait to be Abbadon again.”
“I learned a lot about me, too,” Eddie agreed. “I’ve rarely had a chance to be myself in the last ten years that I almost forgot where I came from. I’m not the leather and chains. I’m not the heavy metal rockstar. I’m just a poor schmuck from Hawkins, Indiana who got so fucking lucky.”
“You think you’re next album is going to reflect that?” Steve asked as he rummaged in his backpack for his book.
“Probably,” Eddie huffed in amusement. “After the third solely dedicated to you.”
“Only a third?” he teased. “Dustin was sure it was half.”
Eddie buried his head in his hands. “Why do we tell that butthead anything?”
“I figure it’s that open and round face of his,” Steve groused. “It just screams ‘trust me’.”
Eddie cocked his head to the side and then nodded. “Yeah, that tracks.”
~
Steve’s first stop after getting off the plane was straight to Vickie’s office. He needed to clear something with her before he went nuclear.
Vickie raised her head and smiled when Steve knocked on her door.
“Nichole said it was okay to just come in,” he said with a smile.
“And Nichole would be correct,” she said indicating the chairs in front of her, “have a seat. Tell me all about your lovely vacation. Thank you for sending me pictures by the way, it helped me and my team keep up on all the goings on and keep fan reactions to a minimum.”
“You’re welcome!” Steve said brightly, closing the door behind him. “So this is about the pictures, actually.”
“Oh?” she said, leaning back in her chair. “Do tell.”
So Steve did.
At the end of his explanation and question Vickie grinned. “I think that’s a beautiful way to do it. I’ll make sure she’s served before you send out the message and you’re all good to go.”
“I have an idea on who should serve her, too,” he said, grinning back at her.
“If you’re thinking of who I’m thinking of,” she said slyly, “then it’ll be perfect.”
Steve just smiled.
~
There was a knock on the door and Nancy went up to get it. She had just finished applying for schools to change her career from being an agent to a journalist. The thought of really getting to the heart of a story like she had on the school newspaper all those years ago, really lit something in her.
She opened the door and there was a short man with thick, wire glasses and a sneering grin.
“Wait, you’re Murray Bauman, right?” she asked. “Had I know you were coming I would have opened a bottle of wine to commiserate with. Both of us having been discarded like trash when Corroded Coffin was done with us.”
Murray shrugged. “It was time. I needed the push to retire. Got myself a lovely little cottage in Greece now.”
She blinked at him for a moment. “Then why are you here?”
“This!” He handed her a large manilla envelope and waved goodbye.
Inside was a cease and desist as well as a notification that she may have violated an NDA.
“Shit.”
There was another paper in the envelope and when she pulled it out, her heart sank. She slumped against the wall and let the picture fall to the floor. It was a picture of the London Eye in the background with Chrissy and Robin on one side and Steve and Eddie on the other and in the middle smiling up at the camera, clearly taken by someone else, was Murray Bauman.
~
Steve and Eddie were snuggled up on Steve’s bed, Eddie curled around Steve.
Steve hit send and put the phone down to wrap his arms around Eddie. “There. All posted across all social media. I’ve put us both on mute and Vickie is going to handle the next forty-eight hours.”
“I wish I could have seen her face when she saw the picture,” Eddie huffed with a grin.
“Me, too.”
Steve’s phone lit up once to confirm the post of: “Traveling with a rockstar is like playing hide and seek with fans. How many of you saw him but didn’t realize you were standing next to Eddie Munson?! Also, to the 'fan' who outed us in Boston, we know who you are and an NDA maaaayyyy have been violated. You'll speak to our lawyers soon! “
Eddie and Steve soon drifted off to sleep, content with their lives.

SCUDERIA
You met at a Ferrari event. You and your black stallion performed to the music from Formula 1 for the presentation of the new car Scuderia. Sebastian Vettel was there. You liked the German champion right away. Kind, friendly, sociable. He didn't even stop asking about the horse's condition after a long performance.
A couple of days after that, he texted you. You've been texting almost all night. The correspondence turned into friendly meetings. Friendly meetings in dating. You kissed wherever you were sure the cameras wouldn't catch you.
You were both professional athletes who didn't like noise. Quiet happiness was better for you.
That was until you were called up as a rider from your country for the Olympic Games. The program has been approved. You and your steed were supposed to repeat your performance from the Ferrari event.
Equipment, a faithful horse under the saddle, familiar music are the key to your success. But this competition was different from the previous ones in that this time your boyfriend was sitting in the stands wearing a cap and sunglasses to disguise himself.
The Olympics were your triumph. Thanks to your performance on the first day, your national team took the first place. And on the second day of the competition, you win the individual competition.
On the podium, you can't help but scream with delight and don't notice how you kiss the medal, repeating the gesture of celebrating your beloved. You look at the stands, wave at them and show the heart with your palms. So it seems to the cameras. In fact, it's all for one person who smiles and proudly waves the flag of your country, supporting you.
And then something happens that is not included in the rules of awarding. You turn to your horse, who has been standing with the trainer all this time, approach him, stroke his velvet nose, and then kneel in front of him and bow several times. One-on-one like Sebastian in India back in 2013.
You don't notice Vettel disappearing from the podium. And only after the victory lap does he come up to you. Without glasses and a cap, allowing the cameras to recognize him. You groan and smile at his open appearance. Sebastian strokes your horse's neck, and then gets down on one knee, being level with your ankle and pulls out a red velvet box from his pocket. Inside there is something you didn't dare to dream about.
He smiles slyly and asks in a light manner familiar only to him:
-Do you agree that both Scuderia (scuderia means stable from Italian) have Vettel within their walls?
I will be glad not only to receive your likes, but also to feedback💚💚💚

Pairing: Tony Stark x Indian! Reader
Warnings: 18+ fluff, some angst?
Word count: 2665? Ish.
Tony Stark Masterlist
.
An urgent knock on the toilet door made Tony startle, frowning as it turned insistent and quite irritating.
“Aap zara jaldi karenge, please?” a female voice came through with words he couldn’t even begin to comprehend.
“Sorry?” he called back, finishing his business quickly and cleaning up.
“Would you mind hurrying up? It’s kind of an emergency.” she repeated this time in a language he understood, the voice seemed to get him curious to know about the person attached to it. It was one of those voices that got him wondering.
“I don’t mean to be rude but the last time I checked, this was the men’s room, ma’am.” he called out, a small smile on his face as he wiped his hands, hearing a click of a tongue outside the door.
“I appreciate you pointing out the obvious but, like I said, it’s an emergency and there’s a long queue for the ladies room. Now, are you planning on settling in there or–”
The door swung open, revealing the most gorgeous set of eyes and the most intriguing face Tony Stark had seen in his life. She rolled her eyes, muttering a ‘finally’ under her breath before brushing past him and locking the door behind her, leaving behind a lingering scent of roses and the same intrigue he’d had when he first heard her voice. He walked out of there, not before glancing behind once more with a small frown on his face.
The drive over to the venue was long and tiring, the balmy weather turned cooler as evening approached, rendering the skies in hues of fiery orange and purple. He had been invited to attend a wedding of a former MIT colleague in India, well not just the wedding but a week-long event of festivities. Something that was a common occurrence here, he was told.
The venue was stunning. A palace, quite literally, that had been turned into a boutique hotel, decorated to the nines for the wedding. The colors, the smells, the people, all of it was a bit overwhelming at first for him, but he grew to enjoy it.
As Tony entered the gardens where an event known as a ‘sangeet’ was, he was handed a welcome drink, which turned out to be a spiked sherbet. Mingling with other guests, he made his way to meet his friend, the groom. As he was chatting away, among the collective giggles that sounded through, Tony picked up a familiar voice, one he had heard just a few hours ago.
Sure enough, it was the same girl he had bumped into, or rather it was her who stumbled in the men’s room and had lingered on his mind. She was stunning, to say the least, wearing one of the most beautiful outfits, decked in jewelry and make-up that highlighted her best features.
Tony felt an unstoppable urge to go up to her, he simply couldn’t help himself. Clearing his throat he made his presence known, a few of the women surrounding her gave him judgy looks, stifling giggles for reasons unknown.
“Oh! It’s you!” You exclaimed, instantly recognizing the man before you, giving him a genuine smile, you held out your hand which he accepted.
“Y/N Y/L/N, I stormed in your stall earlier today, I’m sorry.” You placed a lock of hair behind your ear, staring down at your clasped hands, taking notice of how warm his hand felt against yours, it was a perfect fit.
“I remember you. Tony Stark, it’s a pleasure.” He shook your hand but didn’t let go, letting his sunglass-clad gaze roam over you some more. Reluctantly you let his hand go, still feeling his touch on your skin long after you had parted.
“Wait—you’re Anthony Stark?”
“The one and only.”
“Ah. I’ve heard a lot about you, you’ve got quite the reputation.” You teased, stopping one of the serves to get yourself a drink.
“One that precedes me. Please don’t believe everything you hear.” He shook his head, for once hoping he hadn’t been such an infamous personality and not always for the right reasons. Afterall he did want to make a good first impression.
“Well, stick around to prove it wrong, then maybe I won’t.”
He raised an eyebrow at you, smirking in response as he downed the rest of the drink he held. There was something about you, definitely.
“Are you a friend of the groom too?”
“Nope. The bride, she’s my best friend. We practically grew up together.”
Speaking of whom, you heard her call out your name urgently, effectively cutting your conversation with the billionaire, genius short. Tony wanted to know more, everything, but it would have to wait; and he would have to think of ways to spend more time with you since his time in India was limited.
“I’ll find you later, Anthony. Don’t be a stranger, okay?” you smiled, giving his arm a friendly squeeze before excusing yourself. That little gesture warmed his heart, given he was surrounded by strangers in a country that was miles from home, your friendly face and kind eyes made him feel at ease.
.
Light music played on the speakers as the usual murmur of people chattering floated through the halls of the palace. The mehndi or henna tattoo on your hands was almost done, the elegant, intricate designs and patterns and the peculiar, earthy smell always made you happy. It was still a long way from drying but the breeze kept blowing your hair into your face, driving you to a point of irritation.
“Need help?”
You heard a familiar voice before the man poked his head from behind a pillar, looking far too amused. Sleeves rolled up and yet another pair of expensive tinted glasses, the man looked dapper, a bit more relaxed but still quite out of place.
“I’m starting to think you’ve been spying on me, Mr. Stark.” you feigned shock, shaking your head in lame attempts to get your hair to behave, but it wouldn’t budge.
“I mean, this little struggle is way too entertaining to miss. May I?”
He chuckled at your adorable pouty face before your unruly hair was tucked behind your ear, his fingers caressing your face ever so gently and leaving a trail of tingly feelings behind. The gesture made several hopeless butterflies flutter in your belly.
“How’d you sleep?” You cleared your throat, rolling your eyes at the people who stopped in their tracks to stare at the man who didn’t have eyes for anyone else but you.
“I don’t sleep much. Are you from here?” Tony’s nose twitched before he sneezed, narrowing his eyes at the drying henna on your hands.
“Oh no, home is miles away. But I have been here before, as a child. It is one of my favorite cities.”
You smiled as he asked more questions about you and your life, answering all the questions you had with utmost honesty as well. You realized how easy it was to talk to the man, though he seemed to have an aura about him, it was somehow meant for others, not you.
It was only later as he picked up his jacket that you noticed he was in a suit again.
“Are all of the clothes you’ve brought so…Western?”
“What do you mean?” Your question made him frown and look down at his choice of outfit.
“I mean, you’re at an Indian wedding. A nice sherwani would’ve been more appropriate, don’t you think?”
“A sher-what?”
You giggled, explaining what it was.
“My stylist picked these out for me, I’m sorry I had no idea. I’m coming off as ignorant, aren’t I?”
He scratched the back of his neck, nervously.
“Maybe out of place, not ignorant. But we can fix that. There’s some great stores around here, if you want I could take you shopping.” You suggested, feeling bad that you made him self-conscious all of a sudden.
“I would love it! I—I mean I would appreciate it. Thank you, Y/N.”
“Just give me like half an hour?”
You raised your hands up to show the mehndi still needed time to dry. Agreeing to meet him by the cars they had arranged to let people drive around, you parted ways. This day was suddenly looking up for more than one reason now.
.
“Try one in the white, I think you’ll carry it off well.” you nodded at the gorgeous sherwani with intricate design, holding it up against Tony’s chest and urging him to put it on.
It had been a fun day walking around the streets, strolling into stores to buy some traditional clothes for Tony Stark. With people stopping him to take pictures and autographs, it was quite endearing to watch him engage with them, patiently pose for pictures and entertain them with little quips and tales. You hadn’t missed the sneaky looks and gazes as you conversed with people at the stores or drove him around the city.
“What do we think?” you called out, pacing outside the trial room as you waited for the man.
“I think I might have to fire my stylist.”
You giggled, clapping your hands in delight as the man stepped out looking unbelievably dapper, and rather hot if you’d allowed your thoughts to run wild. You turned your attention to the selection of dupattas they had, quickly scanning through them until you found a piece you were looking for.
“It was missing this. There. Now you’re done.” you draped a red dupatta you’d found with small white bandhani details all over it. It truly made the outfit come together and what was Iron Man without a bit of that signature red anyway?
“I needed you, Y/N. Where have you been all my life?”
You met his gaze in the mirror, cheeks warming as he sent you a wink. Paying for the clothes, you put the stuff back in your car, feeling a little sad that your time with him was almost over. Tomorrow the two of you would go separate ways after the wedding. Almost sensing the same, Tony let out a sigh as he took a seat in the passenger seat, leaning his back and turning to you, placing his hand on top of yours with a smile.
“I’ve had the best day, Y/N. we should probably head back huh?” trying to think of ways to extend this, he wasn’t prepared to let you go so soon. As if on cue, your phone started ringing, it was one of the relatives at the wedding, probably calling you back. You stared at the screen for a moment before switching it off and throwing it in your purse.
“I’m not ready for the day to end just yet.” you stated, surprised at your own statement as you heart beat against your ribcage, hoping to God he felt the same way. Tony, impressed beyond belief, gave you his winning grin.
“Me neither. Ice-cream? My treat.” he frowned as you shook your head, pulling the car out of parking and heading to one of your favorite spots in the city.
“I’ve got a better idea. Kulfi. With a view.”
It was an ancient fort in ruins now, though it still offered stunning panoramic views of the city and the lakes surrounding it. Your timing couldn’t be more perfect as the sun was on the cusp of setting, the skies were a dramatic pink and orange as you grabbed a couple of kulfis. Handing one to Tony you grabbed his hand and hurried towards your favorite spot, missing Tony’s chuckle at your excitement.
“Aren’t you needed back at the wedding, Miss Y/L/N?”
You hummed, perching yourself on the stone ledge as Tony did the same, angling his body towards you.
“If we go back now we would miss this gorgeous sunset, wouldn’t we? They’ll survive.” you smiled, your eyes shining in the golden sunlight that had bathed the surroundings.
Soon enough you were left mesmerized as the sun set behind the horizon, it brought back memories from your childhood when you had first visited the place, eating the same kulfi you were now, watching the city change colors along with the skies with the same child-like wonder.
“What do you think?” you murmured, eyes on the glistening water of the lake.
“Stunning.”
Your cheeks turned warm once again because from your peripheral vision you could tell his eyes weren’t focused on the view, they were on you.
You spoke about the randomest of things as evening drew on, not bothering to check your phone or the sky for a fact that it had turned gray with clouds that promised a light shower or two.
Tony made you laugh, he was a good listener and really paid attention and in a way made you wonder why you hadn’t met before.
“When do you go back to Malibu?” Not even attempting to mask the tinge of sadness as you spoke, picking on the invisible lint of your dress.
“Tomorrow. Midnight. Listen, Y/N—”
“We should head back.”
Cutting him mid-sentence, you stood up and began walking back; however, the weather had other plans. Soon fat droplets of water splattered across the limestones, drenching you and Tony within seconds.
It was a good fifteen minute walk back to the car but the rains showed no sign of stopping. Tony called out your name but you didn’t stop, not wanting him to see how heartbroken you were. It wasn’t everyday you felt this way. Not over someone you had met just forty eight hours ago. Then again, it wasn’t everyday that Tony Stark stumbled into your life.
You felt him grab your hand and pull you back, making a run for a dilapidated section of the fort that had a part of roofing intact.
“Y/N.”
“Y/N, look at me.”
Suddenly, it wasn’t the rain or the wind that sent shivers down your spine. It was the man who stood before you, approaching you slowly until he had you caged with his arms on either side. His eyes locked into yours in a way that had your heart threaten to beat out of your chest.
“Tony, don’t…” you trailed off, doing nothing to actually push the man away. Truth be told, you didn’t want to.
“Why not?”
“Because you’re leaving.”
His face was now mere inches from yours, gaze dropping down to stare at your lips.
“I could stay. Or you could come with me.”
As much as you wanted to believe, you knew you came from different worlds and the possibility of it working out seemed slim.
“Tell me you don’t want me as much as I want you and I’ll step away.”
You felt his hand cupping your face, forcing you to look up into his brown doe eyes. That seemed to melt away all your defenses and any protests that the rational part of your brain would throw at you. Shutting your eyes, you closed the distance and kissed him. Tony responded immediately, pulling you against his chest as his soft lips molded against yours perfectly, savoring you.
Something warm and fuzzy bloomed in your chest as you kissed, your drenched state quickly forgotten as you lost yourself in the taste of him. You had silly grins on your faces when you finally parted, foreheads touching and breaths shallow.
“You’re something else, Y/N.” he whispered, stealing a few chaste kisses while your arms found their way behind his neck.
“You’re one to talk, Anthony.”
“So…would you come with me?”
“I’ll think about it. Would you stay first?” You murmured with hints of a playful smile on your face.
“I’ll think about it.”
