Lee doesn't get as good sleep at night compared to Luke. Too much on their minds and too many worries to sleep.

Sunfae!Lee so fun in any version of the au because he's a sizeshifter.

Only reason Kronos is army can keep him from shifting to his common size is with imperial gold and celestial bronze cage and/or restraints.

Even then, he's a biter. Also part of why Luke's the only one who keeps an eye on him. No one else tolerates getting bitten by a smol menace of a fae prince. Lee draws blood for sure.

Luke gets annoyed sometimes, and they ends up having fights and such. But he's just too down bad for Lee to reprimand him for long.

He pouts cause Lee usually gives him the silent treatment.

Why Lee does act tough and defensive with his captors, he is legitimately scared of their situation. He'd be a fool not to be. Any fae knows being in their basic form is dangerous around those you don't trust 100%. Anytime some grabs them he's fully aware of the advantages they have. Kronos already took most of his siblings prior to their capture, they're only still alive because they're useful as well as being considered a "reward" to Luke for his loyalty.

Luke,however, really doesn't get it. He knows Lee use to let him hold him in his basic form all the time. He use to be comfortable being so small around Luke. And Luke really hasn't considered why Lee would be uncomfortable in his hands now.

Luke knows he likely could never bring himself to hurt Lee, even if order to, but to Lee? He doesn't know that.

He use to be sure Luke would never truly hurt him. But he also was sure Luke would never hurt any one. He doesn't trust Luke won't hurt him. That trust been broken.

So he's defensive. He's snappy. He bites. Because they honestly can't do much else. The hands that once held him so tenderly now are like a trap ready to crush them.

Lee falling asleep a lot during camp meetings from lack of sleep. His head falling on Luke's shoulder. Luke decides to not wake him unless he has to and tells him what happened afterwards.

Fantasy au pre-divorce-

Luke being one the only people outside Lee's siblings he's comfortable being in his small form around.

Luke finds him so burnt out he's curled up in a organizing basket in the infirmary and just carefully picks him up and takes him where he can sleep.

Chris once finds them both fast asleep with tiny sun fae Lee curled up in Luke's chest and decides not both them.

Lee likes getting lil head rubs in smol form.

Were-coyote Luke gets ear scratches of course. (his tail is totally not wagging- what gave you that idea?)

Luke gets in trouble and goes to his coyote form thinking he can puppy eyes his way out of it and Lee just picks him up and holds him in air jail probably even more so considering he can fly.

Lee babysits the rest of the Hermes kids and Luke finds him, a bunch of his siblings in their Fox and Coyote forms, and Lee's siblings all cuddled up asleep. Lee's wings curled around them protectively.

Luke sometimes likes to hold and pet the tuft of fur at the end of Lee's tail. 100%

Fantasy au stuff ✨️

Luke having keep eye on captured Sunfae prince Lee. The others keep teasing him over it and Lee's one step away from biting someone. And it might end up being Luke if he's not careful too dhdh

Gonna ramble about the fantasy au(one with fae!Lee and Were-coyote!Luke) cause our air's out and need distraction gdtdf

The gods here are instead called Lords. They immortal being of different types, most often the first of their kind.

Kronos was an immortal king/lord that had been dethroned. At some point his form destroyed.

Apollo, and his kids, are Sun Fae. They can shift between two sizes(deemed common size/form, and smaller size/form) and usually are most comfortable living together with their siblings. They're tight nit and very protective.

Hermes' kids are usually were-coyotes or were-foxes. It's more ambiguous which Hermes is.

Sunfae have been hunted down and gone missing. Leaving very few left. Apollo is furiously calling for action but Zeus continues to decline it in fear of worse retaliation.

Most of the other lords are on Apollo's side.

Luke's joined Kronos side out of bitterness towards his father. Been too wrapped up in his own bubble to think too hard on actions done.

Lee of course takes care of his remaining siblings, and the loses have made him completely bitter towards Kronos' army, and Luke.

During an attack Lee stays to buy time for his siblings to get away and find shelter with the Were- Dragons (Charles told Lee his father would be willing to let them stay in their cave if need be) and gets captured.

By then, Kronos has returned to normal form and Luke manages to convince him to keep Lee alive.

Luke tries to talk with Lee like nothing's change. Lee is so done with it.

He can in fact bite. He will in fact bite. They have a angry Sunfae in their hold they really should've expected that.

Arranged marriage au

Apollo being forced to marry off his son to the new prince of Olympus to keep Kronos from attacking his kingdom.

He originally wasn't gonna do it, but Lee ensured his father that he'd be alright. Even if they weren't all too happy about it either they didn't want their people hurt.

Prince Luke still trying to get use to his new role, but also it kind of going to his head. He's bit unsure when he's arrange to marry another Prince from the kingdom of Hyperborea, but when he meets Lee he falls for him hard.

Lee,however, despite agreeing to the arrangement,it's not at all happy. He knows enough about how Kronos and Luke got their roles and so they're already coming into the marriage with a lot of mistrust for Luke.

However, he becomes absolutely attached to Luke's younger siblings. Especially given how much he misses his own. Luke often finds him with Chris or the Stolls, helping them out with something or just hanging out.

Overall,Lee continues to be as rebellious i he can get away with. Luke knows he should be annoyed but it only makes him fall for Lee harder hdhdg

Problem is, he absolutely unaware of any of the hyperborean customs. And Kronos isn't exactly keen on appreciating other kingdoms customs. He hardly respects Olympus' customs when he took over. So Luke is having an even harder time bonding with a home sick Lee.

Wasn't until he complained to Annabeth and Chris about how hard it was to bond with Lee that both were like-

"Have you tried getting to know what he likes? Or about their home?"

"Oh. Uh. No...I hadn't."

"... maybe you should try."

Also. Luke's the only one who actually fine with his predicament in that castle. His brothers and Annabeth are regrettably along for the ride. So Lee definitely was a breath of fresh air. They're all making best of a sucky situation.

I'm not sure if I wanna go a fully human route, or a fantasy route with this au... y'all know I'm a sucker for sunfae Lee fdgdf and Sunfae prince Lee and human prince Luke really calling to me for this au ngl hdgsf

Either way. Lee always going big brother mode no matter where they're at my beloved. You can't take the big brother out of him.
