one thing simon loves is when you’re sitting next to him and snake your hand up the back of his neck and massage the stiff muscles back there. he automatically leans into your touch, rolling his neck against your fingers to have you push harder where he needs it. it could make his eyes roll back in pleasure, pale lips slightly parted with a pleasured sigh.

“thas’ good, love. keep goin,” he groans, “little bit harder right there- yeah. good girl.”

oh and give a little tug to the short hair on the base of his neck, and it sends shivers down his spine, his back almost curving off of the couch at how good it feels.

spring mornings are spent in bed with john. the sun shines through the uncovered window, a warm beam resting across your face. birds chirp outside, dancing from branch to branch as they play. a while ago this would've made you grumpy, wanting to sleep in until you felt like rising, exhausted from the previous day.

but now you cherish being woken by the sunshine, your eyes fluttering to adjust to the light. the scraping of skin on paper alerts you to john's presence, the burly man propped against your headboard, a half read book in his hands. he smiles at you, mumbling a 'mornin', love' in his thick accent.

"morning," you reply with a small smile, rubbing the sleep from your eyes.

the sheets rustle as he leans in to you, cupping your cheeks for a big kiss, accidentally snapping his book closed on his lap. you shake your head and pull back, turning to the side before you speak, preventing your morning breath from hitting his face, "we haven't brushed our teeth yet, john."

"y'better give me a kiss, or else you ain't leaving this bed today," he threatens, frowning at you like he cares. as if he wouldn't love having your morning breath fanning over his face as he kisses you until you're gasping for air!

"mm- fine," you give him a quick peck, quickly throwing the covers off of you and rolling out of bed before his strong arms can lock you in, pulling you back for more. your ankle gets stuck on the sheet, nearly causing you to fall to the floor but you catch yourself just in time.

john wants to be annoyed but your somewhat graceful fall makes him burst out laughing, your panicked face replaying in his head, " 's what you get for running from me! don't come back either."

he watches you recover, dusting yourself off and fixing the piece of hair that fell out from your tie. you don’t have to come back to him, because he follows you into the bathroom before you can even close the door, grabbing his toothbrush for a good clean so he can get all of the kisses he wants!
