Lets see how many people I can make Sun kiss
Except the explanations get more silly
Canon characters:
Sun x Solar - Tired parents, they would be very good for eachother. They'd cuddle & kiss & when things get rough, they'd comfort eachother
Sun x Eclipse - Again, tired parents. They don;t talk often but when Sun visits, Eclipse clings to him like it's been 5 years since they talked. Then denies it.
Sun x Bloodmoon - They would either be the healthiest couple or the most toxic. Going with the former, Bloodmoon is like a big cat, & Sun LOVES cats soooo-
Sun x Ruin - I'll admit, I don't know why I put them here- Not a big fan of this one tbh.
Sun x Taurus - Taurus just picks Sun up randomly and Sun just lets it happen. Dazzle probably thinks Taurus is really cool to have as a second dad and she braids his hair.
Crossovers:
Sun x Tisha(Dandy's world) - They clean together then dance together. They're very kind to eachother & the healthiest couple in the world
Sun x Soap(Inanimate Insanity) - Exact same as above tbh
OCs:
Sun x Nova - Trauma bonding would be a date idea for these guys I'm just saying
Sun x Michelle - Sun deserves a beautiful guardian angel woman who will hold him and keep him same & make him tea<3
Sun x Ms. Cloud - Cleans like a maid x dresses like a maid, send tweet.
I think I've seen Sun be shipped with half the girls in Dandy's World at this point. Is there something going on that I don't know about???

spawns in ur inbox with my hands politely folded. hello hazard-c-horror. it's been quite a few days now, and i've only Continued to fall down the dandy's world rabbit hole eihsihssh SO, since you're the only Other Person i know about that's Insane abt D.W *and* SAMS, i would like to throw Thoughts inspired by your SAMS x D.W au I've been having .D.
i was hella inspired by the character sheets you made for moon, eclipse, lunar, and solar, so. take some Thoughts for how sun, earth, and kc would work in the game digsgskqj
(btw- this disclaimer might be a bit silly- but idk if you already have Planned Out Stuff for these characters n their abilities n stuff, and i Apologize if you do- this isnt me trynna like take over your au or smtn, its just me being autistic dgsigaiya that being said, do with these ideas as you will, you have free reign over anything you do w them lmao)
Sun:
OKAY so yk how he can turn ppl into geese n stuff in canon? i feel like his transformation magic could actually be his ability. as a toon, he has the ability to turn either Himself or other toons into an object (like a soda can or chocolate bar) for 5-ish seconds. he could do this to Instantly de-agro any twisted's chasing either him or other toons, and the 5 second break could be just enough time for stamina to rebuild so even if the twisted does still spot the de-transformed toon again, they have more time/stamina to run and hide
THAT BEING SAID. his twisted form would be the exact Opposite of this- he'd be able to mask himself as an item and attack/agro onto any toon who'd try to pick him up. he'd be a lot like twisted rodger, just for items instead of capsules. and ofc there would be things making it obvious that the item wasn't trustworthy- like discoloration or added bits on it. if you have a keen eye, avoiding him is Easy :)
i have like a couple thoughts for his mastery item. first one that came to mind was a Cat Plush, which when equipped it has a “calming effect”, and ups your stealth up by around 10-ish percent, making it harder for twisted's to spot you. but then i also thought “haha Wine Bottle”, which i thought that (when close enough) it could instill the “confused” effect on nearby twisted's, and make it harder for them to see nearby toons. so both items would do the same thing, just go about it in different ways
Earth:
she deffo has an ability like tisha's or shelly's, where it helps out the other players instead of herself. im thinking she's able to heal others for one heart every two minutes. a basic ability, but bro methinks this game needs a healer besides teagen, who can only heal herself dosyohsshs the Easy way to go about it is that she can just.. go up to (aka Click) on another player to heal them, but she could also just have a “medical bag” on hand where she whips hella bandages out the wazoo and gives them to whoever needs em dishiaha
okay as a twisted this girl gives me MAD razzle and dazzle vibes in how she functions. but instead of sleeping, i can imagine her constantly Crying and remaining in one smalllll specific area, patrolling it, almost. she can be led away by Distractors (goob, pebble, ect), but once they've de-agroed her, she'll start slowly walking back to her patrol spot. the best way to deal with her is to have someone else agro her and lead her around while You fix the machine she's working on, or vice versa :) but you Can still beat her on a solo run, bc she has rather slow walk-speed when getting back to her patrol spot where you could beat her back to it after leading her away. it'd just be a Lot easier w multiple people digdihsah
and her item?? first thing that came to mind is a barbie doll. or just a “pink girl doll” bc. copyright sigsiszvah it would be an Active item (like the wrench or bottle of pop), where at the start of every round, she could place it down somewhere, and it makes noise, which leads the nearest twisted right to it. ofc we dont want it Too op, so once a twisted makes contact with it, its destroyed and returns back in earths inventory, ready to be used next round .D.
Killcode:
kc is a Complex one- i think this guy would have slow walk speed, but a fast run speed. so i think he'd be a good “distraction” character, like goob or pebble. HOWEVER. i think it'd be sick as *hell* if his ability, using his size, literally made it so that he could momentarily Pick Up Other Toons and carry them away from any twisted's chasing them. he'd prolly only be able to do so for 3-ish seconds, but it could be a saving grace for anyone out of stamina being chased .D.
now. as a Twisted. this👏man👏deserves👏lethal👏status👏 his name is LITERALLY KILLCODE i refuse to believe he cant one-shot a bitch sisgiaga due to him literally being a Being made to perfectly hunt/kill, i think how twisted kc would act is that he'd spawn in at the start of a new floor, a Sound Queue would play so that toons know he's on the floor. and now he's just.. somewhere. hiding. *waiting*. hes normally spawned behind corners or nearby machines, where its either easy to run into him or hard to avoid him. hes not Impossible to beat tho- i imagine he emimates a very quiet sound byte, so hes still avoidable on blackout floors, even if he's not visible. and that byte also helps on just normal floors too ofc. best way to deal with him is to listen to his sound queues and *be very aware of your surroundings*. cause if he spots someone, he is *hard* to lose, and hes lethal if he gets ya. once freed from his waiting spot, he's not going back to it. instead, he'll be moving around the map like a faster, but also Louder, dandy. Scary!!
aaand his item. i came up with a “soup ladel”. cause. heh. yk, because he volunteered in soup kitchens in canon? .D.? i think im Funny siosgiaa what it'd do is up the spawn rate of better Food/Drink items on every floor. think instead of soda cans spawning on floor 1, there's a higher/better chance for soda bottles to spawn instead .D.
. this is over 1K WORDS LONG OF AN ASK hazard im so sorry, im Unwell sigihgaisg okay now i go eep for tonight good nini honk shoo honk shoo
Why hello there. Longest inbox I’ve ever received
I love this a lot actually, and thank you for some ideas! Love the trinket ideas especially, will probably use them
I’m just be reading over this like 12 times, because I just love it
It’s also funny bc I had the same idea about Earths ability, so that’s nice. Great minds think alike
I don’t know if I’ll be incorporating Sun’s magic into this, but I did include Eclipse’s so I may use your idea. Bc I also don’t have any ideas for him at the moment
One unfortunate. KC will not be in this au, but I could make a non canon character sheet for him a Solar flare if people wish. Really like your ideas for him!
The soup ladle is my favorite for a trinket lol
In return of theses amazing ideas, I give you a sneak peek

Inside Job (2021 TV series)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Inside Job is an American adult animated science fiction workplace comedy television series created by Shion Takeuchi, which premiered on October 22, 2021, on Netflix. Shion Takeuchi, a former Gravity Falls writer, acts as showrunner and is an executive producer alongside Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch and BoJack Horseman director Mike Hollingsworth. The series received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised the animation, voice acting and social commentary, though its humor polarized critics. The series was renewed for a second season in June 2022.
Premise Inside Job is a workplace comedy set in a world where many conspiracy theories are real. It is centered on an American shadow government organization Cognito, Inc., which attempts to control the world and keep the conspiracies secret. The series follows a team led by a tech genius and her new partner as they work in the organization alongside reptilian shapeshifters, a human–dolphin hybrid, and a sapient mushroom from hollow Earth.
Cast Lizzy Caplan as Reagan Ridley; a brilliant yet socially awkward robotics engineer who works at Cognito Inc. and believes that society itself can be improved, managing her irresponsible coworkers while seeking out a coveted promotion along the way. Takeuchi described Reagan as a leader who "wants to make the world a better place." It is frequently suggested by her friends, family and co-workers that she has Asperger's, which she in turn denies.
Christian Slater as Randall "Rand" Ridley; Reagan's father, and Tamiko's ex-husband. The paranoid former CEO and co-founder of Cognito Inc who was fired after nearly exposing the Deep State and trying to blow up the sun as his "solution" to cure skin cancer. He lives with his daughter Reagan, drinking copious amounts of alcohol and plotting revenge against his former employers while finding time to engage in flame wars with Richard Dawkins. He is reinstated as Cognito CEO by the Shadow Board at the end of season 1 as he holds the most shares in the company.
Clark Duke as Brett Hand; a yes-man from Washington, D.C. who has a front as a fratboy but is actually a sensitive and caring person who wants his peers to follow in his footsteps and strives to bring out the best in his friends and colleagues. It is implied that he was hired partly because his generic appearance made him undetectable to facial recognition software.
Tisha Campbell as Gigi Thompson; a public relations officer, she is the fast-talking Head of Media Manipulation and Subliminal Messages at Cognito, and who is also the queen of office gossip. She is also a big flirt who goes after Brett and is constantly remarking on her looks.
Andy Daly as J.R. Scheimpough; the current CEO of Cognito, a crafty conversationalist who can talk his way out of potentially compromising predicaments. He is sent to "Shadow Prison X" via tube at the end of season 1 after attempting to embezzle the company pension fund to purchase a volcano island lair.
Chris Diamantopoulos as ROBOTUS, the robotic replacement of the President of the United States. Reagan keeps him locked up in Cognito's basement, bribing him with Friends episodes so that he will help her with various schemes. He evolves into the ultimate AI with the goal of destroying humanity.
John DiMaggio as Glenn Dolphman; a human-dolphin hybrid super soldier who oversees Cognito's weapons and arsenal.
Bobby Lee as Dr. Andre Lee; a free-spirited yet anxious biochemist who experiments with a range of unusual narcotics, and is also addicted to some of the very same drugs he creates.
Brett Gelman as Magic Myc; a psychic mushroom-like organism from a hive mind deep inside Hollow Earth with a dry, sarcastic demeanor and the ability to read peoples' minds. The show's opening sequence implies that his species inadvertently brought about the evolution of humanity when their spores were consumed by ancient apes. Myc also provides pure bio sorbitrate, a chemical the company uses for their memory eraser guns, which they have to literally milk him for.
Recurring
Suzy Nakamura as Tamiko Ridley, Reagan's author mother and Rand's ex-wife.
Alex Hirsch as Grassy Noel Atkinson, the real JFK assassin. Ron Funches as Elliot Mothman, head of the HR Department and a literal Mothman. Josh Robert Thompson as Agent Rafe Masters, a character who is a stand-in for James Bond.

Chapter 9.) Into The Lion’s Den.
Tisha’s life has officially gotten interesting. After meeting with Adrian she had agreed to work with him. And that happened after she agreed to a second date with Tristan Rys. She officially was on the dark path down a long rabbit hole.
She was still in a daze after meeting him. While sitting on her bed she kept thinking about the intimacy of him biting her. The heat she felt of his body being close to hers. She felt his strength, his power, and his lust. And she wanted to feel it again. She wanted to feel the adrenaline again.
But for now, she had to shift her focus from Adrian to Tristan. She had a dinner date to think about. It was now Saturday morning and her date was that evening. She wondered if it would be like their first date. Would it flow as easily as the first? She had so many thoughts about the date. They would soon be interrupted by a text from Tristan himself.
Tumblr media
After that exchange she had more questions about him than she had answers. But those questions would have to wait because there was a knock at her door.
“Now who could that be?” She thought as she walked to the front door. After silencing her dogs, she opened her to the last person she'd thought she'd see. Adrian.
“Senator Raines! What a surprise! What are you doing here on a Saturday morning?”
“Is this a bad time, Ms. Tucker?”
“No! Not at all!”
“May I?”
“Yes! Yes, come on in!”
She stepped aside to let him in before closing the door.
“Are you sure that I didn't catch you at a bad time?”
“No, it's fine. I just wasn't expecting guests this early. Also, I thought vampires couldn't be in the sun.”
“If I was a younger vampire then yes I couldn't. But I'm nearly 400 years old. While it's not a pleasant experience for me, in VERY short instances I can stand it.”
“Gotcha. Well, what brings you by? Also, how did you know my address?”
Adrian smiled softly.
“The idiot told my wife and she told me.”
Tisha rolled her eyes.
“He doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut does he?”
“No. He doesn't.”
“Why don't you have a seat, Senator?”
Adrian sat down on her couch as she sent her dogs to her bedroom then closed the door. When she returned to the living room, Adrian noticed the cat tower in the corner.
“You have a cat?”
“Yup. Luca. He's friendly I promise.”
As if on command, Luca hopped up onto the couch. Adrian looked at him uneasily and Tisha noticed.
“You're not afraid of cats are you, Senator?”
“Worse. Allergic.”
Tisha snorted.
“And here I thought vampires were impervious to everything.”
Adrian chuckled before sneezing.
“Definitely not.”
“Here I'll take him in the room with the dogs. Then you and I can talk.”
“Sounds like a—”
Adrian sneezed again.
“Plan…”
Tisha snickered as she gathered Luca in her arms.
“Come on baby. You can go lay on the bed with the boys.”
After taking Luca into her room, she returned and sat beside Adrian.
“So let's chat, shall we?”
“That's why I'm here.”
“What brought you here Senator?”
“Adrian. And you call me curious about you.”
“After one meeting?”
Adrian shrugged.
“You left quite an impression, my dear.”
“I could say the same for you.”
Adrian smirked.
“That was the point. Pun intended.”
Tisha shook her head as she chuckled softly.
“Can I ask you something?”
“Off the record?”
Tisha rolled her eyes.
“Sure. Off the record. When did you and Nessa start sleeping together?”
“6 months ago. Which is 2 months after she first let me feed on her.”
“That was my next question.”
“And I thought I was the curious one.”
“I just find it strange that she would cheat on her boyfriend of 3 years. I know how much she loves him. Or at least I thought I did.”
Adrian shrugged.
“I remember she came into the office late one night, an absolute mess. Told me that they had gotten into an argument and she left. I invited her into my office for a drink to calm her nerves and one thing led to another and we wound up fucking on the couch in my office.”
“Woooooow!”
“We swore that it wouldn't happen again but that lasted all of maybe 2 weeks.”
“And you two have been hooking up ever since?”
“Every time she flew to New York. We'd meet at the hotel bar then go back to her room.”
Tisha let out a breath she didn't realize she'd been holding.
“Wow! I did not expect you to be so candid.”
Adrian smirked.
“You asked. I answered.”
“And you’re sure that Tiana knows?”
“Yes, my dear. She knows. She actually expected us to sleep together the day after I hired Jenessa.”
“Your wife. The Goddess Of All Vampires. Expected you to be a hoe? Can I quote you?”
“Off the record. Remember?”
“Damn!”
Adrian snickered.
“Besides, T has her own toys. Both human and vampire.”
“Really?”
“Yes. She is the only being in the universe that can feed off of both humans and vampires.”
“Whoa! So besides you and Tristan, who else is there?”
“Jax, Nikhil, a few former members of my old clan Kamilah and even Sam Dalton just to name a few.”
Tisha’s eyebrows shot up.
“Sam Dalton as the new CEO of Dalton-Russo?”
“The one and the same. She grew up with his first wife. She's his twin’s Godmother. She spoils those boys rotten.”
“Speaking of Tiana, can we talk about her or would you rather discuss something else?”
“We can talk about her. That's fine.”
“What was she like? As a human I mean.”
Adrian smiles fondly.
“She was fun. She was as beautiful then as she is now. She ALWAYS kept me on my toes. She captured my heart before either of us realized we were in love with each other.”
“Sounds highly romantic.”
“Yeah, it was. Which is why turning her remains the biggest regret of my life.”
“From what I heard, you didn't have a choice.”
“You're right. I didn't.”
“What was that like? For you, I mean.”
“As I said, I regret turning her. But I had no choice. She was dying in my arms. And all I could think was that I couldn't lose her.”
“What happened? If you don't mind my asking.”
Adrian cleared his throat.
“I held her close with the sword still buried to the hilt in her stomach and as I looked at her, I told Jax to pull the sword out. Kamilah wasn't sure that it would work but I couldn't help it or hear her. All I could think was that I had to save Tiana.”
“Whoa…”
“Not my finest moment but at that moment I knew that I couldn't live without her.”
“They say love makes you do crazy things.”
Adrian nodded.
“But the turning didn't take. Not at first.”
“What do you mean?”
“Normally, it takes 24 hours for a vampire to turn. But Tiana didn't. So we waited. And waited.”
“How long did you wait?”
“10 days. Mainly because I was too stubborn to believe she was truly dead.”
Tisha shuddered.
“And when we buried her, I lost it. I already lost one wife and child. And when Tiana died I went dark. Darker than I had ever been in my whole life.”
“I know. I have your autobiography.”
“Didn't know you were such a fan.”
Tisha shrugged.
“Let's just say that I found it very compelling.”
Adrian smiled faintly.
“Let me ask you this. How were her powers unlocked?”
“The same way Rheya’s powers were unlocked. The loss of someone she loved.”
“Who?”
“Her best friend, Lily. Like you and Jenessa, they had known each other since middle school.”
“Ohh…”
“Lily dying in her arms, changed Tiana in an instant. It turned her cold, heartless, unforgiving, and bloodthirsty. She wanted revenge.”
“Yikes.”
“That's putting it mildly. She finally understood what drove Rheya. What guided her. What made her despise humans.”
Tisha shuddered.
“It was a scary time in the opera house that night.”
“What happened?”
“According to Tiana, she heard the prophecy come true.”
“What prophecy?”
“When the sap of the tree rests in the golden chalice. The skies shall turn red, the earth shall be torn asunder. And The First shall walk again.”
“Well, that's not ominous at all.”
“I watched as she truly became the most powerful being in the universe. And I almost lost her in the process.”
“What do you mean?”
“She almost gave into the darkness. She was ready to murder everyone in the opera house that night in order to attain Godhood. She swore that would use it to bring Lily back to life but with the look in her eyes that wasn't going to happen. She was too far gone then. The darkness had started to consume the woman I loved. If I hadn't begged her to come back to me, we'd all be dead or her slaves.”
Tisha whistled low.
“Oof. That's a lot.”
“Sorry. Didn't mean to unload on you. It's just no one has ever asked me how I felt about the whole ordeal.”
“No no. It's fine. I do want to touch on something though. You mentioned that Rheya turned to the darkness after a profound loss, who did Rheya lose?”
“That's the thing. She didn't.”
“I don't understand.”
“Before Rheya became the Goddess Of Vampires. She was a married priestess with a daughter.”
“Really?”
“Yes. She initially wanted to make her home a place of peace and prosperity. But a group of humans called the Sons Of Ares saw her as an abomination that had to be put down. So they attacked Mydiea one night. According to what Tiana told me from a vision she saw, they killed her husband and when she found a burned child’s body, she changed. She became dark, bitter, vengeful, bloodthirsty and cold. Humans took the ones she loved, so she made it her mission to kill all humans. Except she was wrong.”
“What do you mean?”
“Rheya thought that The Sons Of Ares had killed her daughter. But really, she's the one who killed her.”
“What?! How?”
“Iola, her daughter's name, wasn't dead as Rheya initially thought. She was kidnapped. And the Sons Of Ares  thought she was like her mother. But she was just human. And when Rheya, Gaius, and Xenocrates came to their village, Iola was killed by her mother.”
“Rheya killed her own daughter?”
“Rheya had already turned to the darkness within her and she didn't recognize Iola when she killed her.”
“Jesus Christ…”
“And when Tiana showed her the truth, Rheya couldn't handle it. And she begged T to kill her.”
“Sheesh.”
“After Rheya died, Tiana united the light with the dark.”
“What was that like?”
“Beautiful and terrifying at the same time.”
“I bet.”
“Tiana has raw unimaginable power. And a cold dark rage that is deadly to us all. And over the years she's learned to harness it. To control it. And if you piss her off. She unleashes it. Much like Gaius or Rheya. Only Tiana is a different and better breed than them both.”
“She sounds intense. And scary.”
Adrian chuckles.
“Everything but. Sure she knows how to get what she wants but I know her better than anyone. I knew the woman she was then and I know the woman she is now. She's a brilliant force to be reckoned with in both business and politics. That's one of the reasons why she has the imbecile wrapped around her finger.”
“Her power runs that deep?”
Adrian nodded.
“She has more than physical power. She has unmatched psychological power. She could topple the world and rebuild it in her image, should she ever choose to. And no one could stop her.”
“Wow. I'm starting to regret saying this conversation was off the record. This is great.”
Adrian snickered.
“Maybe I could let you talk to Tiana yourself, let her tell you her story.”
“No offense but no thank you. I think I'm safer staying right where I am.”
“And where is that?”
“Alive.”
Adrian chuckled softly.
“She wouldn't kill you, Latisha. She can't. On account of my Senatorial Agreement.”
“The one you signed that swore no vampire can kill a human?
“Unless in cases of extreme or near fatal harm? Yes, the one and the same.”
“While I'm thankful for that agreement if it's all the same.”
“How about I sweeten the deal with a little-known fact?”
“You are that determined to get me to meet her aren't you?”
“Indeed. So how about it? If I tell you this little tidbit of info, will you be willing to meet her?”
“Depends on how good the info is.”
“What if I told you that she slept with Dracula.”
Tisha chuckled dryly.
“Very funny.”
Adrian raised an eyebrow.
“Wait! You're serious?!”
“As a heart attack. She shared a bed with Vlad Tepes formerly known as Dracula.”
“You're joking.”
Adrian shook his head no.
“Dracula isn't real! He can't be!”
“So you're saying vampires aren't real?”
Tisha opened her mouth then closed it.
“Told you it was good.”
“How do I know that you’re telling me the truth?”
Adrian shrugged.
“You don't. So the only way to prove whether or not I'm lying to you is to…”
Tisha groaned.
“Okay! Fine! You win!”
Adrian snickered.
“You seemed curious.”
“How do you know that I'm curious?”
Adrian leaned in close to whisper as he wrapped a hand around her left wrist.
“I can hear your heartbeat.”
He turned her wrist over and kissed the sensitive skin on the underside.
“And your racing pulse.”
His touch was warm and sent the butterflies in her stomach fluttering.
“Are you alright, my dear?”
She tried to hide that she was very flustered.
“I'm fine.”
Adrian grinned devilishly.
“You're lying.”
Before she knew it, he had her pinned underneath him.
“I have been dying to taste you again.”
His whispered words raised goosebumps on her skin and sent chills down her spine.
“If I called you greedy, would you be angry?”
“Not in the least.”
Tisha swallowed hard.
“May I?”
Tisha nodded her head yes.
Adrian tucked her hair back behind her right ear, giving him clear access to the skin just above her artery. She closed her eyes and made a sound that was a mix of a gasp and a moan when his fangs pierced her flesh. He held her close as he fed on her. Her body was on fire. She felt hypnotized and turned on by him. She could feel the blood leaving her body. When he finished his feast, she felt dizzy and was ready to drag him back to her room just so he could finish her off.
“Thank you, my dear. Your blood is a rare type. Sweeter than any that I've ever tasted in a long time.”
“Better than Nessa?”
“By a smidge. Don't tell her I said that.”
“Your secret is safe with me Senator. I won't tell a soul.”
Adrian smiled down at her.
“I should go. I have some things to take care of and you have a date to prepare for.”
“Right…”
Adrian smirked.
“You forgot about the numbskull already, eh?”
Tisha snickered.
“Smart girl.”
Once off the couch, Tisha walked Adrian to the door.
“Thank you for coming by, Senator.”
“It was my pleasure. I do hope you have fun tonight.”
“I'm sure that I will.”
“You’ll have to tell me what happens.”
“Don’t want to hear about it from Tristan?”
Adrian scoffed.
“All he'll talk about is the sex.”
“What makes you think that we'll sleep together?”
Adrian cocked his head to the side.
“Your heartbeat sped up when I mentioned it.”
Tisha opened her mouth to reply but closed it instead and crossed her arms. Causing Adrian to smirk at her.
“I’ll see you after your date Ms. Tucker.”
“Goodbye, Adrian.”
After closing her front door, Tisha ran a hand over the puncture wounds left by Adrian feeding off her. She shivered from the contact the pads of her fingers made with them. It was a subtle reminder that there was no backing out now. She was in too deep. As the day went on, her mind switched between preparing for her date and the heated intimacy she shared with Adrian.
She had just finished blow-drying her hair when there was a knock at the door. It was Jenessa.
“Babe?” Nessa called out from the living room.
“Bedroom!”
“I hope you don't mind me using my key to get in!”
“Not at all, love! Now get in here and help me finish!”
Nessa giggled as she made her way to Tisha’s bedroom.
“Operation: Wingwoman is in full effect! Whatcha need me to do?”
“Grab my outfit and shoes out the closet, and then hand me my jewelry box. While I do my hair and makeup.”
“Got it!”
Nessa disappeared into Tisha’s closet and grabbed her things then laid them and a matching lingerie set out on her bed.
“Ta-Da!”
Tisha rolled her eyes.
“You're so dramatic!”
“I'm sorry. Which one of us excelled at Drama in high school?”
Tisha groaned.
“Are you excited babe?”
Tisha shrugged.
“Kinda. All I know is he's sending a car and we're meeting at an undisclosed location.”
“What do you think you two will talk about?”
Tisha sighed.
“Hopefully about how he became a drug kingpin.”
“If anyone can peel back the layers of one Tristan Rys, it's my own Nancy Drew!”
Tisha snorted.
“In other news, I heard through the grapevine that you agreed to work with Adrian and Tristan. Congratulations, you did it!”
Tisha rolled her eyes as she started doing her hair in the mirror.
“Yeah! Yeah! Speaking of which, Adrian stopped by earlier.”
Nessa raised her eyebrows.
“How did he know where you live?”
“According to him, Tiana told him.”
“How did she find out?”
“Take a guess babe.”
“Ohhhh!”
“Yeah. Well that makes sense. So what did you talk about?”
“I asked him how long you and he have been sleeping together.”
“How do you know about that?”
“He told me when I agreed to work with him.”
“And what did he tell you earlier?”
“That the two of you have been sleeping together for months. But what I wanna know is why you didn't tell me.”
“It's not like we planned for it to happen, it just happened.”
“Bestie? YOU HAVE A MAN AT HOME!”
“Don't judge me!”
Tisha sighed before turning to her best friend.
“I'm not judging you. I just wanna understand how you wound up sleeping with a married Senator when you've been in a relationship for 3 years.”
Nessa shook her head with a heavy sigh.
“Hassan and I got into a big argument about his drinking. He didn't see why it was any of my business that he enjoys a drink at night. Except it wasn't just one drink at night. It was drinks at night.”
“Did he hit you?”
“No. I told him I was gonna go to the office so he could have time to cool and sober up. Adrian was there and he comforted me. In more ways than one.”
“Obviously.” Tisha muttered.
“I thought you said you weren't judging me.”
“I'm not!”
When Nessa looked at Tisha she noticed the bite marks on her neck.
“What is that?”
Tisha looked around confused.
“What is what?”
“Are those bite marks on your neck?!”
“Yes, they are.”
“You mean Adrian has fed off you?”
“Twice.”
“What do you mean twice?!”
“The first time was the other day when I agreed to work with him and when he was here earlier.”
“Are you fucking serious?!”
“I mean we're both consenting adults so yeah.”
“Oh no! Not happening! Never again!”
“What?!”
“Whatever you and Adrian think you’re about to have is NOT happening!”
“Nothing is going on! And even if it was, it's up to me and Adrian whether or not it stops or continues, not you.”
“How much do you wanna bet on that?”
“I don’t understand why you’re so upset, Nessa. You have Hassan.”
As soon as Tisha said that Nessa looked at her best friend shaking her head sadly.
“No, I don't.”
Tisha blinked in confusion.
“What do you mean you don’t?”
Nessa sat down on her bed with a sniffle.
“He's gone T. Hassan left me.”
“WHAT?!”
Tisha sat down next to her.
“What do you mean he left?!”
Nessa took a shuddering breath as she spoke.
“I came home from New York one weekend. And when I got to the apartment, something felt off. The apartment was empty except for the furniture. So after putting my bags down, I checked his closet and that's when I found it completely bare. He moved out while I was gone.”
When Nessa’s voice cracked Tisha threw her arms around her best friend.
“Baby! Why didn't you tell me?”
Nessa shrugged sadly.
“I don’t know. I was so in shock it didn't register with me to tell you or anyone.”
“Wait! You mean Adrian doesn't know?”
Nessa shook her head no.
“I haven't told him yet.”
“Nessa I'm so sorry! How long has he been gone?”
“4 months now. That's why I asked you to go to the fundraiser with me. I didn't want to go by myself.”
Tisha held her best friend as she cried.
“I had no idea. And I'm sorry.”
“There is one person who knew.”
“Who?”
“Aaron. He ran into Hassan at the bank he works at. And when Aaron asked him how we were doing, Hassan told him we weren't together anymore. And when I eventually ran into him, he asked me and I told him everything. He wanted to kick his ass but I begged him to keep it quiet.”
“I get it.”
“I wasn't trying to hide it from you. I just wasn't ready to tell anyone. But my hand was forced.”
Tisha was shocked hurt and angry.
“I'm gonna kill him! No one does that to you and gets away with it!”
Nessa chuckled softly.
“You should tell Adrian.”
“I've thought about it. I know he'd be pissed if he found out. But I don’t know. I don’t know that I'm ready.”
Tisha nodded.
“Now it all makes sense. Thank you for telling me.”
Nessa dried her eyes.
“I hope you don't think I was trying to hide it from you.”
“Of course I don't. Like you said baby, you weren't ready. I'm not mad. At least not at you.”
“And I'm sorry that I snapped at you. I just…”
Tisha waved away her apology.
“Don't worry about it.”
“It's just so much has happened.”
Tisha stood up.
“I'm canceling dinner with Tristan.”
“No T. Don't.”
“Baby you need me! You’re way more important to me than he is.”
“T, this is your chance! Take it! I'll be fine. I promise.”
As Nessa said that Luca crawled into her lap and made himself at home.
“Besides, Luca is giving me panther snuggles. I can't be sad. I also can't move.”
Tisha shook her head and smiled.
“If you’re sure babe.”
“I'm sure. Go have fun. I'll just order from the Chinese place around the corner.”
“Okay.”
Tisha finished her makeup then got dressed. Just as she had finished getting dressed, she got a text from Tristan.
Tumblr media
“That's Tristan. The car is here.”
“Okay. Have fun babe!”
“Don't wait up.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it.”
With that Tisha was out the door and headed to the waiting car.

Tumblr media
“What do you want, Tom? Before the gods, I just don’t know anymore.”
Tom looked at her eyes and knew he had to choose his words very carefully. Everything was balanced upon them, and he never felt so pressured, so tongue-tied. He’d stood on countless stages, in front of thousands, but never felt the weight of words laying so heavily upon him as they did now.
“I want...I want...”
Her eyes were patient, as they always were. She wouldn’t hurry him, nor would she be scornful. She would wait for his answer, but he also knew that she had reached her limit with his vagaries. Her heart, as giving as it was, could strain no further.
“I want to be loved as a man, and only as a man. Not as how I am packaged, or as I am presented.”
“I am not naive. I know what the gossip sites say, how I am described on fan sites and webpages. Yes, I admit it, I have googled myself, I did get drunk once and went onto Tumblr, and looked up the stories that have been written about me. I suppose I should be flattered, but in truth, they made me horrified...after I read a few, I was so ill, I had an anxiety attack so fierce i could barely move.”
Part of Tish wanted to laugh. the thought of Tom peeking into Tumblr, or the fan fiction writing sites, made her wanted to throw her head back and howl until her sides ached. She could only imagine the expressions that would have crossed his face, oh, to have been a fly on the wall...but the larger part of her, the better part of her nature, was disturbed to think of her friend, her lover, the man who held her heart and soul (sometimes so carelessly, it seemed) having an anxiety attack.
Against her will, she leaned forward, and took his hand and clasped it in hers. “What upset you so badly? Can you talk about it? Would it help?”
He pulled away from her and the comfort she was trying to provide as he began to pace, pulling at his hair. “Have you ever been to any of those sites? They’ve built me up to be...some sort of a romantic hero, a sexual paragon! They’ve done everything but measure my cock, Tisha, and while I admit some of my wardrobe choices in the past, in combination with some particular photographs have made things...well...” he winced as he rubbed the back of his neck and licked his lips a few times. “Let’s just say they weren’t well thought out.
“But Tish? I cannot live up to those expectations. I do not walk around spouting Shakespeare at any given moment, I cannot have sex for hours upon hours on end, and cannot guarantee anyone... these...women and men...multiple orgasms...in multiple positions, some of which I am convinced would put me in traction...!”
Tish fought very hard to keep a calm, objective, yet sympathetic expression on her face. While the conversation was not going as she expected it to, it was shedding some light on the difficulties they were experiencing in their relationship.
She still had to work very hard to keep from smirking. Because in many cases, she was convinced Tom knew exactly what he was doing. He knew he was an attractive man, he knew he photographed well, and he did everything the photographers told him to do. If that mean eye-fucking the camera, well then by God he did everything but grab a condom. Because he was good at it, it helped his career, and let’s be honest—he liked it. And if the enormity of his success was a bit frightening, the fervor of his fans a bit shocking? See above. Lather, rinse repeat.
And gods above knew he wasn’t a fame whore. He valued his privacy, and behaved accordingly. But when he was out and about to promote whatever project he was attached to...? As he aged, he wasn’t all about seducing the camera, but now it was worse: it was his raw passion for the project itself that radiated.
Women around the world were so used to tepid masculinity, she mused. Caught up in their numbers, their business, their bottom lines, their emails and their phones. Then this Adonis comes along and speaks with fire and energy about truth and beauty and honesty in art and literature and relationships...and his audience simply laid down in droves.
And for some reason that defied all logic, all reason, all the fates and karmic justice in the universe, this man, this insanely handsome, gifted, talented actor, this man, found her interesting. Began a friendship, then a relationship with her.
They became lovers, and although it might not have been everything that he read about online, she certainly wasn’t complaining or left wanting on that score. He was tender and passionate by turns, and certainly very skilled and considerate in the bedroom. Or any room, Tom wasn’t picky.
Tom continued, oblivious to her thoughts. “I want to love as foolishly and recklessly as a schoolboy, without care of how it may be judged and consequences be damned. Which is about as likely as the sun rising in the west. I am not going to howl at the moon, I know what I gave up to have my career...but knowing the price of something doesn't always mean you know what it will cost.”
~
Abruptly, he stopped, and looked at the tiny woman who was curled up in his window seat.
Really looked at her, and her voice echoed in his head:
What do you want, Tom? Before the gods, I just don’t know anymore.
He saw once again her patience, but also saw the sadness that she was wearing like a cloak, stooping her shoulders, diminishing the light he had admired in her eyes.
Like a video on fast forward, images of their relationship flew through his mind—their first meeting, he was preoccupied, and in a hurry, without an entourage, and he burst through a door without pause or thought of who might be on the other side, literally sending the small woman flying as she was juggling her bag, tea, and satchel on the other side while she was trying to open it. The corner of the door struck her cheekbone and brow bone, and she’d struck her head, hard, on the way down. He’d been horrified, insisted on her going to hospital for X-rays. Luke had been apoplectic when he heard how Tom had literally scooped her up, poured her into her car, and broken several very important traffic laws to get the then-nameless woman to the closest A&E, arriving a babbling, panic-stricken mess.
She’d ended up with “only” a black eye. And once she got over the shock of being knocked over, almost knocked out, as well as virtually abducted, she was a great deal more composed than Tom. She refused to allow him to take any responsibility for the event, reminding him “doors open both ways.”
He was the one, though, who ended up falling head over heels, and staying that way.
She was bright, and laughing, and at first, they were two suns, delighting in each other’s warmth.
But Tom’s orbit was wide, and his path swift. He would swing past her in dizzying arcs. She understood it. Accepted it.
What should could not understand, or accept, was being left behind in his thoughts, and his heart. And as night follows day, he saw it happen, in retrospect, over and over again. He went to this Fashion Week in New York, that awards ceremony in Tokyo, and more, and more. He didn’t ask her to accompany him. She had her job, her life. She simply couldn’t drop everything to follow where the cosmic winds would sweep him next. Hell, half the time he didn’t know from month to month until some thing, some opportunity, dropped in his lap, and he would be mad not to follow it with his trademark smile.
And so a visit became a video call, a call became a text.
And a text...didn’t happen at all.
He would rationalize it away, “Oh, she’s asleep. I don’t want to disturb her. She works so hard...I know well how hard, she needs her rest.”
What he didn’t know was how lightly she’d be sleeping, if she slept at all, as she kept checking her phone, waiting for it to vibrate in her hand...and then waking to dried tear tracks on her cheeks. Castigating herself for being such a doormat. Wondering when she had allowed herself to become so weak.
After the first such circuit, he returned home, expecting to find a welcoming smile and a warm embrace. He found instead a cautious, wary expression, and an honest, frank discussion.
No tears. No recriminations, no passive aggressive sighs or comments. Just an open talk on how she felt forgotten, and devalued.
Tom was appalled. He recognized what had happened, how he had behaved abominably, and threw himself at her mercy. Begged her forgiveness. Implored her to understand it was never his intent, he was simply stretched so thinly, there were only so many hours in the day, and he never, ever, thought of any other woman.
Tish saw his contrition and knew it was genuine. She took a deep breath, declared him forgiven, and laughed when he exuberantly picked her up and spun her in a circle, then kissed her breathless.
“You take away my breath, truly,” he assured her. “Allow me to keep returning the favor?” When she agreed, he bore her straight off to bed, where he kept her for the next three days. Fed her, bedded her, snuggled and cuddled her, beguiled her and spun her head so thoroughly it was a mercy there was a set of holidays she had already taken, for she declared she was completely lost in a universe that had yet to be discovered.
The world at large did not know about her, and she was fine with that. They went places together, but usually arrived and left separately, and Luke was fine with that.
And then, he spun off again, after their wonderfully intense, but rather brief interlude.
And slowly, but surely, the problems began to creep into their orbit once more.
But this time, there were photos...and videos...of him with other women. Other colleagues, other costars, other women who were very quick to make it clear they found him attractive, desirable, and they were very willing to help him in any way he desired.
Tom was always the perfect gentleman, but...he was a man. And she could see when his eyes would light up if something or someone captured his attention...and even if he never acted upon it, she could still see the interest that was there.
While she was here.
There had never been any words spoken about creating a future together. Nothing for her to build a foundation on...and she knew, then, she couldn’t continue. As much as she cared for him, she couldn’t build castles in the clouds, only to see them get blown away any more.
So once again, he returned home, although this time, he too was more tempered in his enthusiasm. He knew better than to expect her to come running to him, and jump into his arms, as much as he wanted to run and throw himself into hers. When he sent her his return flight information, he asked her if she could be there to greet him. She in turn replied if instead, he would come to her flat.
“I’ll have everything waiting for you,” she’d offered.
“Would you come to mine instead?”
Reluctantly, she agreed.
He knew what that meant.
It meant if he wasn’t very, very careful, what was waiting for him was goodbye.
She arrived with wine. He was met with a smile that didn’t quite meet her eyes, but he could tell she was trying. As soon as the door was safely shut behind her, he took the bottle from her as he took her into his arms.
“Hello, Tom,” she sighed. He was known for his hugs, and she was fighting the magnetic pull that was threatening to overwhelm her resolve.
He opened his mouth to speak, but then thought better of it. Instead, he simply kissed her hair. “I missed you so,” he whispered.
When she didn’t reply right away, he pulled away to look searchingly into her face. “What? I did,” his voice both pained and defensive. “Did you not miss me?”
Her hand stroked his cheek gently. “Tom, I missed you every moment, every hour, of every day,” she answered.
He knew she didn’t lie, and her eyes were sincere. She stood on tiptoe and stretched as far as she could to kiss him. He let her lead the intimacy level, and when she simply brushed her lips against his, his heart sank even further.
He took her hand and led her to the kitchen, where she made the appropriate sounds of pleasure. “Tom, you’ve only been back a short while, you should not have gone through any trouble.”
“I wanted to do something I thought would make you smile, but it looks like I missed the mark,” he replied quietly.
She squeezed his hand, and looked up into his eyes.
And smiled.
“You succeeded. Let’s eat.”
Because she knew him well, she had him talking easily about his adventures and regaling her with jokes and had her laughing. But after awhile, he noticed how very little she had volunteered about her life while he was away the past weeks, and he kicked himself once more.
“Please, Tish. Talk to me. You’ve barely said two words about yourself since you’d arrived. Have we come to this, then?”
Tish had carried the plates to the sink, over his objections, and they had fallen into their usual, easy pattern of her washing, and his drying, before he had cracked. Her hands went limp in the soapy water, and carefully, he pulled them out.
She faced him, her face as pale as the lacy suds that trimmed her wrists. “I wrote you, Tom, lots of emails...maybe only sent you a fraction of them. I’ve had a difficult time, when you were gone.”
He searched her expression. “It wasn’t the media, certainly? Tish, you know, you know, I’ve told you how it’s all garbage, made-up bullshit...”
She pulled away from him, dried her hands on the tea towel, and nodded. “Yes, you’ve told me, Tom, and I do know.”
“Then what is it...don’t walk away from me, Letitia, please do me the courtesy of not turning your back, at least!”
She turned her head so he could see her in profile. “I am sorry, Tom. My feet and back are killing me, I just want to sit down.”
Helplessly, he watched as she sat in the nearby window seat, where there was no room for him to join her. He sat back at the kitchen table, and rubbed the back of his neck as he asked, “Why are you hurting so much, darling?”
She looked at him and replied, “I told you, in my emails, I’ve been putting in very long hours at work, and I guess it’s catching up with me.”
He rapidly reread her missives in his mind, every line.
Then he read between them.
“No, oh no...” he groaned. “They didn’t...they wouldn’t...”
“They would and they did,” she replied, her smile brittle and for once completely insincere. “They let me go, Tom. To be fair, I was the last of the old regime in place, but I’d hoped, I’d thought if I worked hard enough, they’d see the value in keeping me on...”
“You loved your job,” Tom spoke his dismay aloud, realizing a split second too late he was not helping matters.
Tish bent her head, her long, chestnut hair hiding her from his view. “I did, but it was just a job. Wasn’t a career or anything. There will be others...”
In a flash, Tom was kneeling at her feet. “Stop that. You were damned good at what you did, and you were making a difference. An important difference...”
“Tom, stop it! I worked as a nurse associate...”
“...in an incredibly stressful, demanding children’s hospital unit. You loved those children, Tish. They felt safe with you. Parents felt safe knowing their children were in your care when they were at work. And even though I never got the opportunity to see for myself...Tish? Tish, please look at me...I know those children loved you, too.”
“And how would you know this, Tom,” she softly huffed, trying to hide her tears.
“Because you are you. How could they not?” He wiped the ones that escaped with the pads of his thumbs.
“Because I know I do. Love you, that is.”
And so, Tish looked into Tom’s eyes, and asked him:
“What do you want, Tom? Before the gods, I just don’t know anymore.”
~
And it struck him, as he’d been talking in circles, he was speaking to her but getting no closer to getting to the center of what she asked him...
“Tom, I believe you can have all of those things...but I don’t think you can have them with me.”
He felt the tectonic plates in his heart crack and the beginning of a cataclysmic pole shift as his world teetered on its axis.
“Why not, Tish? Why not?”
She leaned forward and gently butted her head against his. “Because the world wants to belong to you, Tom. You have a gravitational pull all your very own. People talk of you being a star, but I see you as the sun, with so much warmth to give, radiating joy and happiness...You have success, you have a career, you have staff, for gods’ sake, and you have an amazing heart to go with it all. Everything and everyone revolves around you.
“I have spent nights waiting for your calls. Your texts. And when they didn’t come, I realized I had a choice to make. I could be one of the many spinning in orbit around you...or I could blow you a kiss for luck, and break free, in the hopes of finding someone that maybe, just maybe, wanted to belong to me, and we could revolve around each other. Create our own family, in time, and we could expand our own universe...”
As she spoke, her fingers absently played in his hair, catching and smoothing his curls by turn, caressing him. Her hands were very good at speaking for her, with her.
Tish scarcely noticed when he drew his head into her waist, and buried his face there. If it wasn’t for the slight tremor in his broad shoulders, she might not have noticed it when she did, and the faint dampness that was seeping through her blouse to touch her skin.
“Tom?”
Stricken, she tried to pull back, but he would not allow it, and kept his arms firmly wrapped around her.
“Please.” His voice was muffled and shaky. “Please, give me one more chance. The world can do as it damn well wishes...but I...I want to be that one...I want to belong to you...”
“Tom, you’re tired, and you’re upset. I’m upset as well, I do care for you. I love you, but you can’t...”
He reared back, his eyes red and watery. “No, Tish. You don’t get to tell me how I feel. You say I am the sun, but...I say you are the moon.”
“A cold, dead, barren, hunk of rock only ever seen through a reflection of your light but otherwise invisible to all?” She lifted an eyebrow and pulled a lock of hair.
He reached up and pulled a strand in return, unable to repress a chuckle. “No, smart-ass. A heavenly body that has its own real gravitational pull, and lets me know when I’ve gone too far from shore, and also lets me know when it is time to rest. I am no star, but just a man, residing on this planet, remember?”
“You said you don’t go off spouting Shakespeare.”
“That wasn’t.”
They looked at each other in silence.
“Tom, you are tired.”
“I am. You said that you love me.”
“And I do. I have for some time.” Her hand kept stroking his scalp. “You should get some rest.”
“I...that is, would you...”
Tish smiled, a real one, reaching her eyes and her lips as she waited. She never rushed him.
“Would you stay with me tonight?”
She nodded, a little nervously. “I didn’t bring anything with me, I didn’t think—”
Tom interrupted her, “If it’s all the same, I’d rather not know what your thoughts were for tonight.” He was grimly validated by the flush he saw build from her neckline.
“No matter.” He pulled himself up, then extended a hand to her. “I am looking forward to sleeping in your arms tonight, sweetheart.”
As they ascended the stairs, fingers entwined, Tish asked, “Come to think of it, doesn’t Shakespeare have some pretty unkind things to say about the moon..? Don’t most poets, do in fact, find it a symbol of inconstancy?”
“Not always, my darling. And you have been ever constant. You’re thinking too hard, just as you’ve been working too hard. Let your mind rest. I promise you, you don’t have to be anxious now.”
“But...”
“You don’t.”
“I...”
“Letitia.” He led her into the bedroom. “Let it go. I am here, and you are here.”
As they curled themselves around the other, each exhausted physically and emotionally, Tom murmured, “You are the star to my wandering bark.”
“...now that was Shakespeare.”
“Goodnight, Tish. I promise to see about those multiple orgasms tomorrow.”
“Goodnight, Tom. No traction, please. You are more than enough man for me as you are.”
Tom fell asleep with those words in his ears, and in his heart, where they remained safely locked away for the rest of his days.
Tish awoke the next morning to his arms still around her, never again to wonder if she was to be the center of someone else’s orbit.

"Best of luck @SpaceX with the Falcon Heavy launch tomorrow — hoping for a beautiful, normal flight! @BlueOrigin #GradatimFerociter"

no place I’d rather be
Summary: Once upon a time, Diana walked with a girl like an apparition on the shores of Themyscira, with moonlight in their hair and love on her lips.
It takes a hundred years, with Etta and Steve old wounds in the back of her heart, before Diana realizes that she was no apparition at all.
Author’s Notes: It’s @eshusplayground‘s birthday (or it was)! So naturally I, without more than a smidge of knowledge about Wonder Woman or her movie (haven’t had the time to watch it) and still recovering from I don’t even know how many days of straight ten hour shifts, decide to deluge the world with Diana x OBFC stuff. *shrugs*
Not a complete story, but more of a ficlet with some run-of-consciousness musings. Also with a smidge of soulmate AU because I’m such a sucker for it. Faceclaim for the OBFC would be Danielle Brooks because fuck, that woman is flipping beautiful. Also comes with an accompanying playlist! :D
Happy (belated) birthday, Eshu!
Your heart doesn’t stop in your chest when you catch her from going headfirst into the street, an arm wrapped around her stomach. It’s simple, instinctive – I have to protect her. It’s how it has always been, an urge that has grown ever so more as you’ve lived your years in Man’s World.
Protecting the women you know has always been a task you have put yourself to, and throughout the years it has become second nature. This world is not like Themyscira, after all. Protecting your fellow women is essential.
(And sometimes it is all too necessary.)
Ever since Etta brought you into that circle of women, all with skin as dark as her own, who welcomed you in ways that made the homesickness vanish – if but for a moment – you have made yourself a protector of women whose troubles persuade most those watching to turn a blind, unhearing eye.
You manage to turn your thoughts away from dearest Etta (a pain that stings even after all this time, a pain tucked alongside Steve and many other names), but they come back when the woman in your arms looks up at you, a gasp on her mouth that you know is meant for smiles like the sun.
Oh, you think.
Her skin is dark, like Etta’s, but that’s where the similarities end.
No, the familiarity comes from somewhere else.
And you remember being a young girl so many years ago, walking with an apparition in the moonlight, with her hair a dark curl around her face and her skin glittering with drops of the ocean reflecting the silver moonlight.
Not an apparition, you think then. Was she ever?
And oh, how your heart skips a beat when she smiles, as bright and warm as the sun. While all else has changed, what she does to you has not.
It’s a quiet romance, that spans over drinks and getting to know one another, over old books and old knowledge. It’s Tisha’s laugh (and that name will forever be tucked in Diana’s heart, alongside Steve and Etta and all the others) and how it makes Diana turn to her, like a flower to the sun.
It’s a warm romance, one that Diana maps out on the skin of the woman in her bed, with carefully reverent hands and a gentle mouth, like she never got to do with Steve and only had for a short, short time with Etta.
It’s a lovely sort of romance, that Diana gets to see as she shows Tisha through the museum, telling her all about what she knows, and watching Tisha’s lovely dark eyes light up in humor and awe.
It’s a desperate sort of romance, when a man with plans to kill and kill and kill (it does not matter who he is, they are all the same after all this time) takes the fabled Wonder Woman’s new companion, and it takes Bruce and Clark every ounce in their arms to hold her back until they can convince her to plan first, even though her heart is in her throat with terror.
It’s an aching sort of romance, an anguished relief, when Tisha is back in her arms, crying and bruised but safe, thank the goddesses-
It’s a deep romance, one that gets under her bones when Tisha is welcomed onto Themyscira, and looks at home and happy among Diana’s family.
It’s a long romance, and it’s never easy, but it’s worth it-
It’s an old romance, as Tisha walks into Valhalla, bent-backed and silver-haired, but walks out again with wings and the sun’s light gilding her dark face. There’s a spear in her hands, and Diana will not lose her like she lost Etta, to the passage of time. She rushes forward, and meets Tisha with a cry that’s laughter and love all at once.
There are two halves of a soul. If you are lucky, perhaps you can meet yours.
You have had many people nestle themselves into your heart, resting themselves there long after they’re gone. There are many halves of your heart, and many people who have held them.
It is your utmost thanks, that you will be able to pass the years yet to come with the woman who rests there, and also rests in your arms. You wonder how you got so lucky as to find another half of your heart, even after so long.
You wonder if she called you, as she had done all those years ago. Did her soul call to yours, across time?
You smile as you kiss her back, above where her wings remain hidden.

Crackship list but to many of them have dandy's world characters (I'm just making silly ship names.):
Sun x Tisha - Cleanfreaks
Moon x Kinger - Midnightchess
Dazzle x Toodles - Smallest of the bunch
Solar x Brightney - SolarLight
I might make more lol
Ah yes, Kinger, my favorite Dandy's world character.

Note
Since there’s been a lot of Dandy’s world crossovers, would like to say Sun x Tisha is good. They go on dates where they just clean things together

Idk man, I just think Sun x Tisha is cute:3
