My Vedic Astrology Thoughts💭
These are all my random Vedic Astrology thoughts and things that I have noticed while studying different charts. These are my observations but nothing written down are things that I’m a 100% sure about, so I’m open to discussing any of these thoughts in the comments :)
- Sun conjunct Jupiter can achieve success in their respective career fields. I also notice that it could possibly indicate a need to indulge which may lead to weight gain. (Eg: Trisha Paytas, Adele)
- People with prominent 3rd house placements tend to be extremely sexually attractive to the masses. Eg:
1st lord in 3rd house
3rd lord in 1st house
3rd lord in 3rd house
3rd lord in 10th house
Atmakaraka in 3rd house
Or having lumanries in 3rd house
These are placements that I see a lot in sex icons and heavily sexualised celebrities. (Billie Eilish, Megan Fox, Rihanna). In Vedic astrology 3rd house is known for sexual magnetism due to it being 8 houses away from the 8th house.
- Another indicator for sexual magnetism is definitely Mars aspecting your 1st, 2nd, 7th or 10th house. It’s a very potent planet that can really seep into one’s energy. 1st and 2nd house is more physical appearance and 7th & 10th is more energy wise, but either way it’s very apparent.
- The dignity of your Mahadasha/Antardasha planet is SO important. If the planet isn’t strong in the D1 and D9, or atleast receiving aspects from beneficial planets then you won’t be able to reap the full benefits of the planet and it’s associated yogas.
- People with prominent Venus nakshatras and Rohini nakshatra, look really good in pink. Specifically this pastel pink, it really increases their attractiveness. Dressing in pink/pastel colours with makeup remaining light but still angelic using light blushes and soft eyeshadow, is a style that really suits them.
- Vishakhas truly do have this duality to their personalities that can of of course manifest in their appearance.
One example is Dove Cameron (Vishakha moon), she was initially known for her blond hair and innocent persona on Disney. Then for her music career, she decided to fully embody this dark persona by dying her hair black, using darker makeup shades and even adapting a more sexual way of speaking.
This really highlights the fact that Vishakha embodies both the energies of Libra and Scorpio, and they need to learn how to find balance between these two personas in order to achieve fulfilment. Or else they constantly find themselves see sawing between these two energies, thus never finding 100% fulfilment.
- Having Saturn transiting your 4th house in your D1 or from your Mahadasha sign may mean that you’ll be forced to stay at home more often. No matter how hard you try, travelling and seeking out new adventures will be restricted due to Saturn forcing you to deal with your inner karmas in an isolated space.
- Odd ascendant signs (1,3,5,7,9,11) are more likely to actually pursue the career that they desire. Eg: we all know many people who would love to be in the limelight, whether that’s a singer or actress, but not many people are able to pursue it because it is not their destiny. However this is not the case for odd signs, if they wake up and say “I want to be a singer ” then they will because that is their path in this life. This applies to any career that they are interested in.
(Many celebrities have odd sign ascendants. Lady Gaga who’s known for wanting to become a famous singer and then becoming one successfully, has a Gemini ascendant)
- When it comes to the even (2,4,6,8,10,12) ascendant signs, it does not matter if they would like to become a doctor or singer or whatever they desire. They will not be able to follow that career path if their destiny (9th house) does not align with it. These are the people who often thrown into the “limelight” and are uncomfortable by all the attention, or someone who’s forced to take a normal 9 to 5 despite them wanting to desperately follow their dreams.
(I got this technique from Dr. Dharmesh Mehta Ji, who explained it very well on “Exotic Astrology”’s channel.)
- Movable and cardinal signs are often successful in the entertainment industry because their 10th house are not in a fixed sign.
In order to pursue an artistic or freelance career, you need to have indications of an “unstable” career in your chart. Actors, singers, artists, never know when they’re going to get their next paycheck which is why it is associated with movable signs. Actors are always playing different roles, not certain if they’re even going to get their next job. The same goes for singers and artists who are constantly trying to make a living. Nothing is certain or “fixed” which is why having moveable signs in your 10th or aspecting it, is important if you want to successfully pursue this career field.
-This is one of the reasons why Moon or Mercury in 10th house or connected to 10th house is such a prominent indicator in artistic career charts. Because Moon and Mercury are both fast moving planets which can be associated with “instability ” in whatever house it is placed in.
- As for cardinal signs, they start their career off “unstable” but eventually climb the ladder to a more fixed and stable career. Think of rags to riches. Whereas movable signs constantly have to face changing their careers, depending on the Dasha.
- Dasha sequence: When you go through your 2nd, 4th, 6th Dasha period and it being a positive planet Venus, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter. You are more likely to experience an extremely favourable time in your life. I expand more on this technique in my Rise and Fall of Career Success post.
(All the main techniques above are from Dr Dharmesh Mehta, so I would highly recommend you check out his channel on YouTube if you are interested in a more in-depth understanding)

Hello there,
I hope you're doing well.
Can I please know what can be expected during a Rahu Mahadasha, Moon Antardasha and Rahu pratyantardasha? Will a marriage be fruitful during this transit?
Thank you.
Hii, I'm fine, how u doing?!🤗
Rahu MD and Weddings
Generally as rahu is an outcast planet, he's said to support the kind of weddings that don't fit perfectly in the societal norms. Say if love marriages are uncommon in ur area, it can encourage ur marriage to happen. If ur FS is a foreigner or in any way foreign/very different from u by culture, language etc, Then such marriages can happen during rahu MD and yield good results too. It also depends on the strength of the lord of the house where rahu is placed in, since nodes don't have their own houses, they act like the house lords, so if the house lord is in a strong position in ur chart then u can be confident that wedding in this tym will give u a happy marriage.💛💛
Rahu MD is generally not recommended for arranged weddings, say if you have rahu 9H and going for an arranged wedding in this dasha, due to the issues that may arise with u and ur spouse, u will blame your father for conducting such a wedding. Especially with the moon AD, it's so hard to think clearly, you might end up with the wrong person and regret later or even if the person is right, your mental state could feel troubled after the wedding. 😌😌
While choosing a potential partner, whether it be love or arranged marriage, Rahu MD-Moon AD can give u high expectations, you can fall for the high standards that were satisfied and ignore the darker/ other sides. Ex. You might be expecting a really good looking person and got them but failed to look beyond the beauty OR you could've built your own version of ur FS in ur mind after interacting with them but after sometime they could turn out to be very different from what you thought. Rahu-moon combo can create high standard, unrealistic expectations and illusions related to that. You should be aware of these and act accordingly for your own good.🖤🖤
But if the moon turns out to be your 7H lord and is not afflicted/debilitated, this dasha could turn out to be a potential tym for marriage. Even though the moon is an enemy planet to rahu, if it's a 7H lord and in a good placement, it has to contribute to a manageable wedding. My recommendation would be the Rahu-Saturn period, as they are friends and rahu's flighty or illusionary nature can be grounded and the wedding can be solid. 💙💙
About the PD, it's better to not dissect this much, more dissections have lesser importance but can lead to more confusions and misinterpretations imo. MD-AD is enough to make interpretations that can actually help us.😃😃
Overall, Rahu MD is such a long period, many people can get it in their peak age from 20's to 30's where they want to settle down in life and not every person is destined for a love marriage or getting someone from another culture, so if you are going for an arranged wedding in Rahu dasha, make sure that the AD is of your 7H lord or Jupiter AD. Jupiter is the only planet said to reduce the effects of rahu to much extent, so u can opt for that AD imo. The house lord of rahu's placement, if that lord is strongly placed in the chart, you can opt for his AD too (Debatable based on whether that lord is a friend or enemy) In case of love marriage, u can definitely do it in Rahu dasha but make sure that you don't choose enemy AD (Sun, Moon,Mars) and a good rahu placement can also reveal how ur love marriage will unfold.💕💕
Idk where u r from and hence dk whether there is concept of arranged weddings in ur area, I made this as a general post for anyone having this doubt, so you can take whatever relates to you and leave the rest.☺☺
(I've explained whatever I could think of, ur whole chart plays a role in this, don't overthink anything with this, take it as a light hearted advice and proceed. Good luck! 💝💝💝)
With Love-Yashi 💅💕

Hi dear!
I saw your posts about Nakshatras and Mahadashas so I hope it's okay if I ask 2 questions in a single ask.
From what I read, Mahadashas is a like what planetary returns are in the western astrology (?) but not exactly.
Do you mind explaining further what the significance of Mahadasha is?
Because when I followed the instructions in one of your post on how to pull it out, it looked like I'm in an overlap of the longer time period (Venus) and the one started last year (Jupiter).
Here's photo for reference:
Also, what does it mean to be in this current Mahadasha?
Is it okay if I send another ask about the Nakshatras?
sorry for the delayed response, ive been a bit busy!
a Mahadasha can be described as a period of time that is governed by one of 9 planets (ranging from the longest- the 20yr Venus mahadasha to the shortest 6yr Sun mahadasha)
how you experience your birth chart depends on what mahadasha you're currently under. its basically used for predictive purposes?? it dictates the state of life you're in in??
every mahadasha is basically a chance to experience that planet's energies and be transformed by it?? obviously not everybody will experience every mahadasha in their lifetime but we'll experience at least 2-4 and its best to think of it as a tool to master those influences.
each mahadasha period is further divided into antardashas (in your case you're currently in Venus mahadasha and Jupiter antardasha)
These subdivisions allow a much more detailed examination of the influence of each mahadasha, and a much clearer indication of what events are expected to occur and when. within each mahadasha, we have antardashas of each of the 9 planets,, so even if we never experience that planet's mahadasha, we'll still experience it as an antardasha
I think dashas help us understand our chart in a more interactive way and not as something static or set in stone. it's a tool for growth imo
even if you dont have certain planetary influences in your chart, through the dashas you get to experience its impact??? so every individual gets a taste of each of the 9 lords. obviously based on the peculiarities of our chart, we'll each experience this differently.
i hope this cleared it up<3

Hiii! I hope you've done ur exams well and doing good🎉
I'm here for ur game 🪐🪐🪐
I've added my D1 and D10 chart in order. My question is: Would I do well in my career and get the job I'm working hard for? I'm currently preparing for exams to get my dream job, so any general insights abt my career life are appreciated.
Thank you so much for your time and energy 💖🙏 Hope I've followed all the rules correctly 🥹
(I've reblogged in my other account moonchild033 where I'm more active, hope u consider it 🩷)
Wishing you a great day! Take care 🥰🤗
Helloo, yes, my exams went well, thank you for asking, also, thanku for always reblogging my posts and interacting with my shitposts you're a cutie fr 🥹🫂♥️. Let's get into the reading:
For your first question, looking at what mahadasha you're currently going through can better answer it, in your case, Venus, Saturn and Sun mahadasha are favourable for any career related stuff, Mercury and Jupiter are a close second though. If there is a combination of these planets in mahadasha and antardasha then the overall period will be helpful in getting the job that you're working hard for. As for general insights, there's a lot going on in your chart, but i will say that you'll have to work very hard to be successful. There's a lot of karmic placements in d10. also, are you working in a field where you have to help others in some way? medicine, law or something? let me know. Your job can be very exhausting, both emotionally and physically, like running around all day, long working hours and dealing with people (which is always tiring). There are a lot of times when you'll feel like this is not worth it, but then end up getting back up, stronger than ever. Scorpio, Pisces, 6th house, Virgo and cancer energy, I'm getting a really really strong feeling that you care a lot for others. even if it's not your main job, you'll end up doing it anyways, caring for your colleagues, juniors, and even bosses. You're also an extremely hard working person, just make sure not to over exhaust yourself and take breaks when needed. You don't always have to be the one to help people, help yourself first. Especially take care of your mental health, meditate regularly, don't focus too much on tiny details, you're amazing so just trust yourself and go with the flow. If you do a project, don't be like "oh, this is not right, it needs to be more perfect" or something, just remember that true beauty is in the flawed and keep slaying (which I know you will).
Hope you like the reading, take care and have a great day!! 🤗💕

SIGNIFICANCE OF SATURN IN A NATAL CHART
Saturn is one of the most important planets in Vedic astrology. It is the planet of karma, justice, discipline, and order. It also represents the challenges, limitations, and delays that we face in our life. Saturn teaches us the value of hard work, patience, and perseverance. It is the planet that helps us grow spiritually and mature as a person.
Saturn’s behavior with other planets depends on its placement, aspect, and conjunction in the birth chart. Saturn can be friendly, neutral, or hostile to different planets. According to Vedic astrology, Saturn is friendly with Mercury and Venus, neutral with Jupiter and Mars, and hostile with Sun and Moon. Saturn’s friendship or enmity with other planets affects its influence on the native’s life.
Saturn is a solitary planet that likes to be alone. It is not very friendly or sociable. It prefers to work in isolation and focus on its goals. Saturn does not like distractions or frivolities. It is a serious and sober planet that values responsibility and duty. Saturn can make the native introverted, reserved, and detached from others.
However, Saturn can also give positive results when it is well placed and aspected by benefic planets. Saturn can bestow wisdom, longevity, fame, wealth, and authority to the native. Saturn can also make the native humble, compassionate, and charitable. Saturn can help the native overcome obstacles and achieve success through hard work and dedication.
Saturn’s influence on the native’s life can be seen through its various periods and transits. The most significant period of Saturn is the Sade Sati or the seven and a half years of Saturn.
This is the time when Saturn transits over the natal Moon and the two signs before and after it. This period can bring major changes, challenges, and difficulties in the native’s life. The native may face problems related to health, career, relationships, finances, and mental peace. The native may also have to face the consequences of their past actions and learn from their mistakes.
The Sade Sati period can also be a time of transformation and growth for the native. The native may develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their purpose in life. The native may also gain spiritual insight and enlightenment. The native may become more detached from worldly attachments and more devoted to God.
The mahadasha, antardasha and pratiantardasha periods also have their importance and they give results as per their significance as per that horoscope ( as per KP Vedic astrology system ), be it positive or negative according to that horoscope.
Very technically speaking as per KP Vedic astrology, when Saturn is in conjunction or aspecting other planet then it will also give the results of its significances during the activation period of that planet in conjunction or aspect.
Saturn is a speed breaker and always like to have slow and steady growth which later on comes out to be a stronger one, but people don’t realize that and wants everything fast.
Saturn conjunction with moon or in aspect or in each other’s nakshatra, gives rise to punarphoo yoga which creates hurdles and delays in major events of life and thus gives frustration to the native. It doesn’t give job satisfaction and creates challenges in life in many spheres.
In a nutshell Saturn gives good as well as bad results and it depends from horoscope as per the placements of Saturn in that horoscope and its significances.

What is the easiest way to predict the year of marriage from your birth chart?
Predicting the exact year of marriage from a birth chart is challenging, as astrology provides more of a qualitative rather than quantitative understanding of life events. However, certain astrological indicators can offer insights into the potential timing of marriage. Here are a few key factors to consider:
Transits to the 7th House: The 7th house in your birth chart represents marriage and partnerships. Major transits (movements of planets through the sky) influencing your 7th house can be indicative of significant relationship developments. For example, transits of Jupiter or Saturn to the 7th house can suggest a period conducive to marriage.
Progressions: Secondary progressions involve advancing the positions of planets in your chart by one day for each year of your life. Some astrologers look at the progressed Moon, especially its aspects and movement through signs, for insights into emotional and relationship changes. Progressed aspects involving Venus and the 7th house ruler can also be considered.
Dasha System :In Vedic astrology, the Dasha system is commonly used to predict life events. Mahadasha and Antardasha periods can provide insights into specific themes in your life, including marriage. The Dasha of the 7th house ruler or planets placed in the 7th house could be significant.
Transits to Natal Venus: Venus is the planet associated with love and relationships. Significant transits or progressions involving your natal Venus might coincide with relationship developments. Pay attention to the conjunctions, squares, and oppositions to natal Venus.
Solar Return Chart: Some astrologers consider the Solar Return chart for each year, which is a chart cast for the moment when the Sun returns to its exact position at your birth. Look for significant placements and aspects in the Solar Return chart related to partnerships. Note:- It is important to note that while astrology provides a framework for understanding potential impacts, it does not determine events with absolute certainty. Free will and personal choice also play an important role in shaping the direction of one's life. Additionally, one can take the help of Kundli Chakra 2022 Professional software for personal study. More accurate and nuanced information can be found in your specific birth chart.

Hello! I have a 10th house stellium, sun, mercury, and jupiter in libra
But i have moon, saturn, Lilith in 8th house, scorpio venus and pluto conjunct ac in the first house.. can i still be considered a scorpio/8th houser with these placements?, do you think your posts would resonate with me?.
Hey there,
Yes if you have moon and Saturn in 8th house and Scorpio venus, you should be able to relate to my posts. If you have not felt a connection already then perhaps you might in future. My posts on these placements are inspired by my experience especially after spiritual awakening and figuring out life, so that is a particular context around transformation and spirituality. It depends on what age and stage of life you are at, which mahadasha and antardasha you have run or are running.

✨ Understanding Vimshottari Dasha in Vedic Astrology ✨
Did you know that your life experiences and challenges are influenced by the positions of planets in your birth chart over time? 🪐 In Vedic astrology, the Vimshottari Dasha system is one of the most widely used tools to understand the timing of events in your life.
🔮 What is Vimshottari Dasha? It’s a planetary period system that divides your life into major and sub-periods (called Mahadasha and Antardasha). Each planet governs a specific period of your life, and their influence brings both challenges and opportunities.
📅 The Vimshottari Dasha is based on a 120-year cycle, with each planet assigned a certain number of years, reflecting their strength and influence in your birth chart. The nine planets (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu) take turns to guide your experiences, depending on which Dasha you're running at any given time.
💫 Why it matters? Vimshottari Dasha helps astrologers predict periods of growth, prosperity, struggles, and transformation in your life. It’s not just about when things will happen—it’s about understanding why certain phases bring challenges or blessings.
🌟 What to expect?
Sade Sati (Saturn’s period): A time of deep introspection and transformation.
Jupiter’s Dasha: A period of spiritual growth, wisdom, and expansion.
Rahu-Ketu Dasha: Periods of intense karmic lessons and shifts.
Have you ever experienced significant life events during a particular Dasha? Or perhaps you're curious about your upcoming Dasha phases? 🌌✨

Understanding Navagraha Samithu: The Key to Balancing Planetary Energies
In Vedic astrology, the nine planets, known as Navagrahas, are believed to have a profound influence on our lives. These celestial bodies govern various aspects of our fate, personality, health, and success. To mitigate the negative effects of planetary positions and enhance the positive, rituals like the Navagraha Samithu are performed. In this blog, we explore the significance of Navagraha Samithu and how it helps in balancing planetary energies to bring harmony into your life.
What is Navagraha Samithu? Navagraha Samithu is a sacred offering or ritual performed to appease the nine planets in Hindu astrology – Sun (Surya), Moon (Chandra), Mars (Mangal), Mercury (Budh), Jupiter (Guru), Venus (Shukra), Saturn (Shani), Rahu, and Ketu. Each of these planets is believed to exert a specific influence on an individual's life depending on their position in the horoscope.
When the planets are not in favorable positions, individuals may face obstacles, health issues, financial problems, or relationship turmoil. The Navagraha Samithu is a potent remedy that helps in reducing these negative influences and balancing the planetary energies for personal growth and well-being.
The Importance of Balancing Planetary Energies: Every planet has a distinct role in shaping our lives. For instance:
Surya (Sun) governs authority, health, and career.
Chandra (Moon) influences emotions and mental peace.
Mangal (Mars) is linked with courage, energy, and aggression.
Budh (Mercury) represents intellect, communication, and decision-making.
Guru (Jupiter) brings wisdom, wealth, and spiritual growth.
Shukra (Venus) relates to love, beauty, and luxury.
Shani (Saturn) tests patience, hard work, and discipline.
Rahu governs materialistic pursuits and ambition.
Ketu is associated with spiritual enlightenment and detachment.
When these planets are out of alignment in your horoscope, they can create doshas or afflictions, resulting in challenges in different areas of life. Navagraha Samithu is designed to balance these energies and neutralize negative planetary influences.
How is Navagraha Samithu Performed? Performing the Navagraha Samithu requires following a specific set of rituals. It often begins with a purification process, followed by chanting of Navagraha mantras, offering specific items to each planet, and conducting homams (fire rituals) to invoke their blessings. The offerings usually include items such as grains, flowers, specific colors, and metals associated with each planet.
An experienced astrologer or priest performs the ritual, ensuring that the individual’s horoscope is properly analyzed to understand which planet needs attention. Through these rituals, the planets are appeased, reducing their negative influence and enhancing their positive impact on the individual’s life.
Benefits of Performing Navagraha Samithu:
Remedy for Doshas: Navagraha Samithu acts as a powerful tool to remove or minimize planetary doshas like Shani Dosha, Mangal Dosha, and Rahu-Ketu Dosha, which may be responsible for problems in career, relationships, or health.
Improves Mental Peace: By balancing the energies of the Moon and Mercury, the Samithu can help in improving emotional stability and mental clarity.
Enhances Career and Wealth: Appeasing the Sun, Jupiter, and Venus brings prosperity, professional success, and financial growth.
Strengthens Health: Weak planetary influences affecting health can be strengthened through Navagraha Samithu, ensuring physical well-being and vitality.
Spiritual Growth: This ritual can also help in attaining spiritual balance and inner harmony by working with the energies of Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu.
When Should Navagraha Samithu Be Performed? This ritual can be performed on auspicious days, preferably during planetary transits, or when major planetary periods (Mahadasha) and sub-periods (Antardasha) are causing significant challenges in an individual’s life. Consulting with a knowledgeable astrologer is essential to determine the most beneficial time for conducting this ritual.
Conclusion: The Navagraha Samithu is a powerful remedy to bring balance and harmony by appeasing the nine planets that influence your life. Whether you are facing personal, financial, health, or relationship issues, this ritual can be a key to unlocking positive energies and reducing the obstacles posed by unfavorable planetary positions. If you feel the impact of the planets in your life, performing the Navagraha Samithu under the guidance of an expert can lead to transformative changes.

How does this Mahadasha Calculator work?
A Mahadasha calculator is a tool used in Vedic astrology to determine the current or upcoming planetary period (Mahadasha) for an individual based on their birth chart (natal chart). In Vedic astrology, a person's life is divided into specific periods, each ruled by one of the nine planets (including the North Node and South Node of the Moon, known as Rahu and Ketu).
Here's how a Mahadasha calculator typically works:
Birth Information: You start by providing your birth date, time, and place of birth. This information is crucial for accurately calculating your birth chart and Mahadasha periods.
Calculation of Natal Chart: The Mahadasha calculator uses the provided birth information to calculate your natal chart. This chart is a graphical representation of the positions of the planets, stars, and celestial bodies at the time of your birth.
Determining Mahadasha Period: Based on your natal chart, the calculator determines which planet is currently ruling your life as per the Mahadasha system. The Mahadasha periods are assigned in a specific sequence: Sun, Moon, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Ketu, and Venus. Each Mahadasha period typically lasts for a fixed number of years, which can vary from person to person.
Displaying Results: The calculator then displays the details of your current Mahadasha period, including the ruling planet, the duration of the period, and the influence it may have on various aspects of your life. This information is interpreted based on Vedic astrology principles and can provide insights into career, relationships, health, and other life events.
Antardasha and Pratyantar Dasha: In addition to the main Mahadasha period, Vedic astrology also considers sub-periods called "Antardasha" and further sub-periods known as "Pratyantar Dasha." These are calculated and displayed by the Mahadasha calculator to provide more detailed insights into specific time periods within the main Mahadasha.
It's important to note that Vedic astrology and Mahadasha calculations are based on ancient astrological principles and beliefs. Interpretations and predictions made using these systems should be taken as one perspective and not as absolute truths. Different astrologers may have varying interpretations of Mahadasha periods, and the accuracy of predictions can vary widely.
Before using a Mahadasha calculator, You can learn about mahadasha calculator at astrology-seek.com. It's essential to understand that astrology, including Vedic astrology, is considered a pseudoscience by the scientific community, and its efficacy is a matter of personal belief. If you choose to explore astrology, it should be approached with an open but critical mind.

Why most people afraid of Shani Mahadasha?
Most people are afraid of Shani Mahadasha, and for a good reason.
Shani Mahadasha is one of the most difficult periods a person can go through in his or her life. This dasha is painful and long, almost 19 years, and most of these years are no fun for the person undergoing this period.
Here are some effects of Shani Mahadasha:
• Slow mental process: Most people suffer because their ability to think and comprehend gets severely hampered. Shani is not the planet of intellectual prowess. The person starts to look, feel, think and behave like Shani during Shani Mahadasha
• Tough Luck: Shani is typically known as a planet of bad luck. And there is a reason for it. Nothing comes to the individual without trying extremely hard and working his guts off. Almost nothing “Lucky” would happen to the native.
• Difficult relationships: Shani being a cynical planet, makes a person no fun to be with. They have little if any friends and almost always their romantic life is frustrating. Most heartbreak and one-sided love affair tragedies happen to people undergoing Shani Mahadasha.
• Hard work: Everything needs effort. Shani is sweating. No matter who you are, even if you have a good Shani, during Shani Mahadasha, you would have to sweat your way to the things that you want. There are multiple efforts required to accomplish even a small task.
• Scarcity of resources: There is almost always a lack of resources for the individual. Money, friends, energy, time, everything seems to be in short supply.
What happens in Shani Mahadasha:
Shani Mahadasha – Shani Antardasha is a very difficult period for any period . The good effects of the Jupiter period disappear and bad luck and difficulties surround the person.
Shani Mahadasha – Mercury Antardasha: is relatively better and the person is able to take logical steps forward and make progress in his life. Though things are slow, they move in the right direction.
Shani Mahadasha – Ketu Antardasha: This is one of the toughest periods of Shani Mahadasha. Two tough planets running together can make a person face hardships. There can be divorces, diseases and job losses.
Shani Mahadasha – Venus Antardasha: This period is one of marital disharmony and is often seen to bring separation and divorces to a person, especially a male native.
Shani Mahadasha – Sun Antardasha: The native gets into conflict with the authorities and hence suffers because of them. Some authority like bosses, teachers, or even government authorities can harass a person.
Shani Mahadasha – Moon Antardasha: relatively calm period but has mental tensions
Shani Mahadasha – Mars Antardasha: Time for conflicts and anger. The native gets into conflicts with others and can face accidents etc.
Shani Mahadasha – Rahu Antardasha: Arguably the toughest period of all. Rahu’s desperation and Shani’s denials can squeeze a person and out of frustration he can get into trouble out of desperation.
Shani Mahadasha – Jupiter Antardasha: This is a constantly changing period where things keep going from good to bad and then bad to good. Overall very unpredictable.
Remedies for Shani Mahadasha:
1. Worship Lord Hanuman 2. Donate oil to religious place 3. Donate fried food to poor people 4. Be kind to poor people and labourers 5. Work hand 6. Adopt minimalism

Thank you 🧡 one more thing (I hope I’m not annoying 😭), when I put the info in the astroseek link I get a series of tables with the planets and a date but then under that I get all the planets with dates ranging in the timeframe of the mahadasha. What does that mean?
those are antardashas!!!
So mahadashas are the main ones, like Ketu md lasts 7yrs, Saturn md lasts 19yrs etc but within each mahadasha, there are antardashas, so depending on your chart, you could currently have Saturn mahadasha with Sun antardasha and in that period (i think Sun antardasha is like 1yr long, not too sure) the themes relating to your Sun will be more prominent?? but it takes place within the overall structure of the mahadasha. so you're experiencing Saturn's effect but this time its focus is on grounding and working with your Sun??? this way each planet is covered within each mahadasha so that your whole being/every aspect of your life can be filtered through its energies. Saturn mahadasha ends with Jupiter antardasha so it usually ends on a high note as Jupiter rewards all the work you've put in during this period.

What will happen in Jupiter antardasha and venus mahadasha for a Leo ascendant?
Thankyou so much!
That is impossible to tell without seeing a complete chart. However, Venus Mahadasha can be challenging for a Leo ascendant, as Sun (ruler of the rising) and Venus tend to be at odds with each other.
